Alex and Laura were absolutely incredible photographers and truly one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. We worked with them not only for our wedding day but also for our engagement shoot, and from the very beginning they brought the best energy, warmth, and professionalism to every interaction!
They have such a natural ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and their energy is truly unmatched, fun, calm, and so supportive throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, they adapted seamlessly to the rain without missing a beat and still managed to capture everything beautifully. No matter what was happening, they stayed flexible, positive, and fully present!!!!!
Their work is also incredibly fast without sacrificing quality, and we were genuinely blown away by how quickly and beautifully everything came together. Our entire wedding vendor team loved working with them, which says a lot about how collaborative and easy they are to have on site.
One of the things that stood out most was their level of commitment; Laura even showed up to our vendor walkthrough when she didn’t have to, simply because she cared that much about making sure everything would go smoothly. That level of dedication is rare and so appreciated!!!!
We would work with Alex and Laura 10,000 times over without hesitation. They captured our day perfectly, brought amazing energy to every moment, and went above and beyond in every possible way :)

Laura was amazing from the time of initial inquiry to receiving our photos, even after our photos were delivered she has stayed in touch via social media! She was everything professional, kind, and encouraging as we are a very camera shy couple.
We decided to elope as we wanted an intimate ceremony and she captured just that. Her work speaks for itself. The photos radiate warmth, love, and an intimacy that only the best photographer could capture.
I am forever thankful that I came across Lavender & Sage Photography and I am especially thankful to Laura for making my dreamy wedding shots come true! 💗 -

Laura and Alex are the sweetest! They are wonderful behind the camera and are very professional with their work. We were met with an abundance of kindness and enthusiasm from the moment we reached out to have them photograph our wedding and even after! They were thorough with their planning and perfectly captured the essence of our special day. While capturing our wedding day, they also made sure to check in with us throughout the day, easily got along with family and friends, offered words of encouragement, and maintained a warm presence. We had a great experience with Lavender + Sage!
Every step of the process with Lavender + Sage was easy and wonderful! Booking was simple, and we received our contract quickly. Laura met with me two weeks before the wedding to go over details, and she was so flexible with the last minute difficulties and changes we needed to make. She even came to our rehearsal and helped to make sure everyone knew what to do.
On the day of, she and her husband made everyone feel comfortable while also being structured enough to make sure we stuck to the timeline and got through our shot list. During the pre-ceremony groomsmen photo shoot, the guys stopped for street tacos, and we ended up with some really fun candids! They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we didn’t just have really posed looking photos. They also set up a gorgeous flat lay of all our details to get beautiful shots of our invitations, rings, flowers, and my shoes.
During the dancing, Laura noticed I was recording videos for some of my favorite songs and dances; she offered to do that for me with my phone while also taking the professional photos to make sure I had the chance to just enjoy the dancing.
After the wedding, Laura sent me a sneak peak with some gorgeous photos of key moments (first kiss!) within a few days. That made it a lot easier to wait for the full gallery. Then, we got the full gallery only 3 weeks after the wedding, even though Thanksgiving was during that time. The photos are so beautiful, and they captured great pictures of every part of the wedding. We’ve received so many compliments on the pictures from all of our guests, and the website she uses makes it really easy to download all the photos in big batches.
I’ve honestly changed my phone and computer backgrounds like 30 times in the last month because I just can’t pick which ones are my favorites!
Overall, I am so so happy with the decision to go with Lavender + Sage, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever need more photography services! -

Working with Laura was the best! She was there from step one and was in constant contact from the beginning which made me feel really secure about this. She took her husband with her which was really nice and I saw them get the same shoots from different angles. I got the sneak peaks yesterday and I absolutely love them. Anyone who needs a photographer I highly recommend Laura! -

I booked Lavender+Sage for my upcoming 2022 wedding and I just received my engagement photos. OMG they are gorgeous!! I am so happy that we did an engagement session and that I picked Laura for my photographer. My fiance was absolutely against having an engagement session done because he hates having his picture taken. Laura and David made us feel so much at ease and the session was really light hearted and fun. My fiance and I are very happy with these pictures! I am confident that the wedding pics will be amazing also. Laura had been above and beyond with communication and payment planning. I highly recommend her! -
