Lavender Oaks Farm is a fantastic venue and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I initially picked this spot because of the variety of space onsite - there is an outdoor pavilion, a back patio with firepits and a fireplace, an upstairs balcony, a bridal suite, and a groomsman cabin. However, what I ended up getting was far more than I could have ever imagined. Karen, the owner, is a wonderful woman with a heart for hosting and event planning. She is patient, gracious, so generous, and kind. Never once did I feel like I was bothering her with questions or asking for too much. She went above and beyond to make sure that our day was absolutely perfect, and in making sure that we felt like family all along the way.
If you're hesitating, book this place. There is a rain contingency plan, the accommodations to your wedding party are fantastic and unmatched, and you really feel like you're being looked out for. I had a vision for different things - a hot chocolate bar, a s'mores bar, and a large dessert area. Karen made all of these come to life with ease and grace.
Not to mention, the place itself is gorgeous. Karen and her team take great care of the barn - all of our guests were blown away by how classy and beautiful the venue was.
Karen also has close ties to incredible vendors in the area. She has preferred vendors who she works seamlessly with, and they are all truly excellent.
Our day was perfect, and that has a lot to do with this barn and with Karen's heart. Thank you, Karen, for opening up this space to us!!! -

I would recommend Lavender Oaks Farms over and over again! My husband and I had the most amazing experience with the venue and Karen as our wedding planner. Karen is the most passionate, resourceful, and caring owner - with an ingenious eye for design and detail. From start to finish she made our October wedding unforgettable. I could rave about her forever!
On top of Karen and her amazing staff to support all your needs. Her venue is absolutely stunning, one visit and we knew it was the perfect place to get married in front of all our friends and family.
My husband and I could enjoy our wedding day to the fullest because Karen was able to perfectly execute the plan perfectly and handle any small changes without us having to worry.
All our guests could not stop praising how gorgeous and perfect Lavender Oaks Farm! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding if you want the perfect wedding, amazing scenery and photos, and to have the best night of your lives! -

Karen and her team from Lavender Oaks Farm made our wedding planning process and wedding day so stress free and ensured everything was taking care of from our first call to our last call summarizing our wedding day. As an out of town couple, Karen made sure we knew the policies in NC such as getting our alcohol permit and marriage license for the wedding. Karen became like family throughout the process of my husband and I getting married. She took our visions of what we wanted for our special day into account and made it a reality. Her positive energy and excitement for our wedding was felt. It was so genuine! Our guests continue to rave about the details we had that they knew it took time to put it all together but we can’t help but to thank Karen and her team for making it the best day ever! 💜💜💜 -

5-star review from recent Lavender Oaks Farm wedding!
We made the best wedding decision by choosing Lavender Oaks Farm as our venue. Our wedding was in October of this year and we’re still on cloud nine!
We had planned and booked a wedding abroad but due to events outside our control we had to completely pivot. That’s when we found Karen and Lavender Oaks. She took my wife under her wing and made her feel like everything was going to be ok. She even came up to NYC during the planning process and took us out to lunch.
Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Karen is a consummate professional. When you book at her venue, Karen will be your wedding planner and connect with you with the best team of vendors in the Triangle.
The venue itself is a styled after a European chateau with lofty ceilings, natural light, and sprawling grounds to walk on. You can choose from a few different ceremony locations including a pavilion barn, fireplace patio, or gazebo. We chose the pavilion barn and it was perfect for our wedding size of 115.
Another selling point for Lavender Oaks is that the start and end times on wedding day are flexible. She opens the venue for the bridal party early in the morning and will accommodate your desired end time. We chose to keep our party going till midnight!
Karen, thank you for everything! We can’t wait to visit next time we’re in North Carolina!

Karen and the team at Lavender Oaks are phenomenal! They took such good care of us and brought our dream wedding to life. This venue is fabulous because it includes many of the things you need for your special day in the venue fee. In addition, they have a great, comprehensive list of suggested vendors, which helps make the planning process so much easier. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. Lastly, Karen is such a joy to work with. She truly loves each and every one of her couples and her expertise will make you feel constantly at ease. I could not recommend this place enough! 10 out of 10! -

Mr. & Mrs. Lavender are gems!
Working with Karen at Lavender Oaks Farm was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. That was so incredibly clear that we kept saying it to each other in the months leading up to the wedding. She and her husband are incredibly hard-working, thoughtful, and just great people to work with. The first day we toured the farm Karen pronounced my wife’s Turkish name correctly. She had taken the time in advance of meeting us to ask a Turkish friend how to pronounce it in order to get it right. This is something that no other wedding vendor we worked with did.
From there onwards, Karen made us feel so well taken care of. She replied to emails promptly, patiently walked us through the various steps of wedding planning (many of which were news to us!) and went out of her way to help us execute our vision for our wedding weekend.
In addition to Karen and her husband, the venue itself is a joy and a beauty. We had our ceremony outside facing the fireplace mantel and the lovely tall trees behind it. The lavender fields are gorgeous, the barn is warm and inviting and scented with lavender, and the outdoor shelter makes for an extra special place for a cocktail hour after the ceremony. Unlike at other venues, we had access to the entire venue for the entirety of the weekend. We were able to drop things off during the week before the wedding, set up decor and have the rehearsal there on Friday, and pick things up on Sunday rather than trying to do it all the day of the wedding. This flexibility was so worthwhile and allowed us to actually enjoy the weekend.
We can’t recommend Lavender Oaks enough as a wedding venue. Unfortunately, a family emergency prevented Karen from being there in person the day of our wedding. While we were so sad at the time because Karen was such a big part of why we chose the venue, she more than made up for it by hiring us (free of charge) a very talented day-of-coordinator, Jessica, who had experience working at Lavender Oaks. She also worked with our other vendors to ensure they took care of us extra well on our big day. Plus her husband, Mr. Lavender, was there to keep everything running smoothly on the farm the day of. We can’t imagine having gotten married anywhere else other than Lavender Oaks! -

Love in the time of quarantine
Words cannot express how wonderful Karen and her team is at Lavender Oaks Farm. From the second we set foot on her beautiful property, we felt welcomed, taken care of and listened to. Karen is warm, thoughtful, beyond talented and walks you and your partner through the ENTIRE wedding process in a non stressful way. The venue has endless options for ceremony and reception options. Karen offers her talents in graphic design and planning, she meets with you at regular intervals to make sure planning, budgets and decisions are on track. Not to mention she feeds you delicious snacks, and will never let you leave empty handed (lots of lavender goodies from the gift shop!) On top of how amazing she is under regular circumstances, when our wedding date was compromised due to COVID, she reached out to us multiple times to help us make tough decisions. She supported us unconditionally and helped us have a small ceremony and dinner at the venue on our original date AND reschedule our planned wedding celebration for the following year for no extra cost. She even put together a small bouquet/boutonnière, table decorations, and had her daughter bake us the best chocolate cake I have ever had for our dessert. Talk about going above and beyond for her clients. We were speechless, and so grateful. My husband and I feel like part of her family and we cannot WAIT to celebrate next year. This venue and Karen are well worth the price! I would recommend Lavender Oaks Farm to anyone and everyone considering!! -

Individualized & Thoughtful Venue Experience!
Just at a glance, Lavender Oaks Farm is a breathtaking, relaxing sight with rows upon rows of lavender, historic barns, cabins, and ponds. But, when you actually spend time in the barns and in the fields, noticing all of the details and history behind the entire venue, you are sure to fall head over heels--just like we did! The owners are an absolute pleasure to work with. They not only have a passion for weddings/special events and lavender, but they also have an exuding passion for making sure the special day is just how you want it. Karen, the owner and all-things-events guru, is so professional and detail-oriented that the process, a usually stressful one, seems to be effortless. She provides you with so many recommendations, pictures/swatches for inspiration, and is always open for visits, emails, and meetings to discuss the day. Because this venue doesn't require you to have certain vendors, you're free to do your own research and choose who you want to be a part of the special day! But, if you need help, Karen provides direction! When you book a wedding at Lavender Oaks, you get so much more than a place to say "I do," you get all the little things you may not think of right away--the tables, chairs, some centerpiece pieces, linens, a lovely bridal suite, and more! Karen is also a talented graphic designer--just another hidden, valuable part of the entire experience!
The day-of: Karen was so helpful the day-of making sure all was running smoothly. I had no worries or doubts that things wouldn't be in the right spot. It was a magical day. All my guests raved about how beautiful and unique the venue was. This place is what dreams are made of! I couldn't recommend Lavender Oaks more! -

Lavender Oaks is a wonderful place to have a wedding. It has so many options for where you want to have a ceremony, cocktail hour and seating. Karen, the owner, is so kind and will go out of her way to make sure your wedding day is so special. She includes so many things when you book her barn and it won't disappoint you or your guests. They have a full kitchen which your catering staff will love and the bridal suite is wonderful to hangout in with all your friends before it all gets real! -

Lavender Oaks Farm is a gorgeous venue - every detail so well thought out. There is not one thing that I would change! But, even better than the perfect venue is Karen and Robert - they are the owners who designed and built the venue and are the nicest couple you will ever meet. They were so wonderful to us. They helped to make our daughter's wedding a dream come true for her. We are so grateful to have met them. I cannot say enough about how fabulous they are. -

Our Dream Wedding
Lavender Oaks Farm is a rustic barn, thoughtfully restored to its natural beauty with elegant and modern touches throughout. The farm is well equipped with a bridal suite, groomsmen cabin, and multiple ceremony locations. The property is beautiful and gives the opportunity for many different back drops for your photos. You are sure to find everything you need here at Lavender Oaks Farm.
What sets this venue apart from the others are the amazing owners, Karen and Robert. They will make you feel like family from the moment you enter the barn; greeting you with warm smiles and their signature lavender lemonade. Karen is the most kind and caring person I have ever met. My expectations were surpassed again and again throughout the planning process. She is extremely detail oriented and truly an expert at her craft.
Due to Hurricane Florence, my husband and I were forced to relocate our wedding a week out from our scheduled date. Luckily, Lavender Oaks Farm had a change in schedule and was able to accommodate our last-minute request. Karen and Robert helped us plan our dream wedding in six days. (Yes, that’s right- SIX DAYS!) There’s no way we could have pulled this off without Lavender Oaks Farm and their dedication to our special day. They are a pillar in the Chapel Hill community, evident by their ability to pull together various vendors we needed last minute. The venue was beautifully decorated with a combination of our personal decorations and the inventory of decorations they keep on site for brides. Karen has great taste and it was comforting to know I could count on her to bring our dream to life.
It’s hard to give this review the justice Lavender Oaks Farm deserves. There is such a special place in our hearts for this amazing family and we have nothing but wonderful things to say. We look back at our wedding photos with such fond memories, all thanks to Lavender Oaks Farm. Without their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond, our wedding would not have happened on schedule. Please do yourself a favor and book Lavender Oaks Farm for your wedding- you will not be disappointed! -

My mom & I had looked all over the Raleigh area and this was our last chance to find a unique venue that fit the number of guests. Living on the other side of the world I was also concerned when it came to working with a venue to set everything up. They were so accommodating with a 6 hour time difference, attended venue meetings, and added little details the day of! All our vendors were so full of love and passionate for what they do, and it all started with Lavender Oaks. I hope to have a reason to have another even at Lavender Oaks!
