Best stylist in the DMV
Laurén is hands down the best hairstylist and make up artist in this area. I'm pretty easygoing about my hair, but was nervous about having my make up done professionally and she knocked it out of the park.
We did a trial beforehand, and I felt like she really took the time to understand the look I was going for. Day of the wedding it was somehow even better, and no joke that was the most beautiful I've ever felt in my life.
Both my hair and makeup lasted all night and was comfortable, no hair pins were hurting and my makeup didnt feel heavy or cakey at all.
1000/10 will recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to feel beautiful.
Also, shes just super genuine and pleasant to be around. Definitely the energy you want around you on your big day. -

I cannot recommend Laurén enough! She was my hair and makeup stylist for my wedding, and she was nothing short of outstanding. From the initial consultation to the big day, Laurén made me feel completely at ease. She truly listened to my vision and brought it to life with such skill and creativity. My hair and makeup were flawless and held up beautifully throughout the entire day, even through tears and dancing! Beyond her incredible talent, Laurén was so kind, professional, and calming, which made getting ready such an enjoyable experience. I’ve known Laurén through mutual friends for years and when my wedding was coming up I immediately thought of her to do my hair and makeup. I have fine thin hair and wanted to “fake it” without using extensions for the big day. She is so easy to talk to and had some great ideas and everything turned out exactly as I asked and more! She also did an incredible job with my makeup and it all lasted the entire night.
Because I had such a great experience, I ended up reaching out to her again to cut and color my hair…again she did exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you so much Laurén! I can’t wait to see you for the next go around.

Lauren is the Best!
Lauren is absolutely amazing. I could not be happier with how she did my hair and makeup for my wedding! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for years, so she even helped me plan those appointments months in advance so my hair was exactly the color, length, and style I wanted. In addition to being a brilliant hair and makeup artist, she is also such a fun person who answered all my beauty and miscellaneous wedding questions with great expertise. The energy she brought, along with the additional HMU artists helping with the bridal party, was so uplifting and exactly what I needed to calm my nerves the morning of the wedding. Lauren is the best! -

I wish it was possible to give Laurén and her team 100 stars, because they really are the dream team! From my initial outreach through getting ready on the big day, Laurén was amazing to work with. She is professional, flexible - which every bride needs when plans inevitably change, responsive, and a great communicator. Laurén will also keep you calm, laughing, and smiling when you're in her chair! I was impressed by Laurén's knowledge of beauty trends and styles, as well as her endless talent. She was able to recreate my vision for my bridal hair and make-up effortlessly and I felt so secure knowing she'd be with me as we got ready on the big day. Laurén and her team also did an amazing job styling the hair and makeup for my mom, MIL, and bridesmaids. Low stress, lovely people, BEAUTIFUL results
Not only were Lauren and her team incredibly easy to work with and more than ready to adapt to a COVID-safe environment, but their hair and makeup skills are out of this world. I didn't have any clue how I wanted my bridesmaids hair to look, I just wanted them to feel beautiful, and it was truly lovely to watch them all transform into elevated, natural and stunning versions of themselves. That's one of the things I loved most about my wedding day, how Lauren and her team helped everyone to look like the most glammed up version of themselves, including me as the bride! I felt gorgeous, the experience was so laid back on my wedding day, the team was actually at the venue before I even woke up, and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you, thank you! -

Amazing Last-Minute Find
My originally scheduled hair and make-up artist got sick the day before my wedding, and Laurén really saved the day. I found her on a wedding Facebook group. She was quick to respond to my post, provide me with her website portfolio, send me a quote and contract. Laurén asked for inspiration photos the night before and we met for the first time on my wedding day. With each step of putting together my hair and make-up, she would show me what she had so far and ask detailed questions to make sure we achieved my dream look since we had not had a trial. I opted for a half-up do and more natural-feeling airbrushed make-up with fake lashes both of which remained perfectly set throughout my photos, ceremony, and into my reception. She wore a mask throughout my service and cleaned all her equipment thoroughly after. She was a little more expensive than I had budgeted ($200 each for make up and hair), but she does have a studio and if services are done there prices are slightly lower. Overall would definitely book with her again, she was very easy to work with and did excellent work! -

Laurén’s warmth, accuracy, and punctuality was essential to my big day. She really highlighted all of the details I requested for my big day and absolutely nailed my dream look. Lauren is creative, professional and confident in her work!
Lauren did such a great job with my hair and makeup that my friend is now going through Lauren for her wedding! She has a great hand, and can go from a lighter application to heavier per request. She works with you to get the look you are looking for and she is so confident in her work -- you need that when getting hair and makeup done for your big day! I will continue to recommend to people as I know she will make a lot of women happy. -

Laurén by far was the best to work with for my wedding! I was an out of state bride and long distance customer, yet she flew in a day in advance and ensured we did a trial for my wedding and set me up looking my best for rehearsal. She was easy breezy to work with, prompt, and had the top of the line makeup and hair products for me. I am typically a difficult customer and yet she listened to my wants and needs and gave me a look I could of only imagined. I highly suggest hiring her for your next big event that you need to look good for! -

Joy Sent on 07/09/2018Lauren is amazing!! We did a test run and she captured exactly what I wanted!! She was early to set up, allowing this bride to not worry at all about anything!!! She brought a second stylist and it allowed the time management for everyone to be done and ready right on time for pictures and to leave for the church!! She is so accommodating and will work with whatever you need!!! See pictures!! We got both hair and makeup done, and we splurged on the air brush, and it was so worth it!!!

She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable through the whole hair process. At the trial I showed her photos of what I wanted. Once we were done she told me to write down what I liked about the hair and what I wanted to change. I only had one change and she agreed with the change. The day of was so much fun. She brought a friend with her to make sure everyone was done on time and we were all done a little early. Which is awesome for a wedding day! She was extremely professional and so sweet the whole time I was working with her. I would definetly hire her again if I had to go to a fancy party or something! -

She really listens to the look that you are looking for and she makes sure to incorporate your likes into the best color scheme and look for your skin type. I have had her do my hair and makeup for corporate events, holiday parties and my birthday. I plan to use her for more special events in the future.
