Lauren was definitely more amazing than words can describe! She's easy to get along with (my husband is more shy and I'm pretty loud so she was able to handle us both😂), she is quick at responding, she is flexible EVEN with a pandemic, and she takes jaw dropping photos!! I cannot recommend her enough! -

The most amazing photographer a bride could ask for!
Lauren is the most amazing photographer I could have asked for. She photographed both my engagement and wedding photos. Lauren helped me through planning and cancelling two separate weddings during Covid. I ended up getting married in a small backyard wedding on my original date and she was there to take photos we a place holder until our rescheduled date. When this also got cancelled she came up with a plan to take photos with our wedding party on my one year anniversary. You won’t find a photographer who cares more about you, or is more responsive. She is honestly the best decision I could have made for my wedding, and I couldn’t have imagined it without her! Ryan and I are so very grateful for you! -

Lauren + her team were simply INCREDIBLE! We booked with Lauren over two years ago, and during the two years, she checked in on us and made us feel like she was genuinely excited to capture our big day. When it came to our big day, Lauren went above and beyond. She captured the "common" pictures and the "little moments" in-between, like pictures of our parents crying during the ceremony. Most importantly, Lauren made my husband, and I feel SO comfortable. She cracked jokes during the couple's portraits and family photos. Lauren made us feel comfortable being goofy and our authentic selves. A common review that I have received from family members and guests after the wedding was "how wonderful our photographer was!" I could rave about Lauren and her stunning work on and on. She will be our forever photographer for future holiday or family photos! -

Lauren was wonderful to work with. She managed to wrangle a lot of people in a very short amount of time for photos during the family photo session; it was no easy task to keep everyone focused. She makes it very easy to pose so you don't feel too silly about what you are doing. I appreciated her warm but action orientated nature during our engagement and wedding shoot. She was a great photographer to work with. -

We had an amazing experience working with Lauren on our wedding day! She made me and my husband feel totally comfortable in front of the camera and perfectly captured our day. You can truly tell that Lauren loves what she does. She is highly organized and even provided us with a detailed day-of timeline that really helped us keep everything on track. Her photos are beautiful and we couldn’t be happier! We cannot recommend Lauren enough!

Attentive, artful and quirky
Lauren was amazing! She spent time with us in advance to learn about our personalities and to capture the feeling we wanted from our wedding photos. She somehow managed to be everywhere all at once and captured some of the most spontaneous and beautiful moments of our day. Her eye for capturing the scene and the mood resulted in the most gorgeous photos. We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of her work! -

Wow, Lauren and her team are so much fun to work with! She made us feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding, providing both silly and helpful cues to help us relax and be ourselves in our photos. Lauren’s background in dance is super helpful in recognizing simple posture changes that make a big difference. And her enthusiasm and passion make the photo-taking process so fun – she made me feel like a star! Lauren went above and beyond in connecting us to helpful resources as we changed our plans due to COVID, and she was super flexible in accommodating our new plans when we had to change venues to a backyard setting. And the photos we got are just stunning! -

Before our wedding I had dreams of puppies in place of flowers, PB&J buffets, and floor becoming lava. I’m so thankful that my dreams did NOT all come true for our big day!
But the dreams of a sweet and talented photographer absolutely did come true. Lauren Baker Photography was incredible and I lost count partway through the night of guests coming up to us commenting on how great she was. Lauren knew when she could step back and when it was time to take charge and move things along. She was a source of laughter and comfort at just the right moments. She captured our love so beautifully. Lauren was flexible and relatable and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We love looking back at our wedding pictures! -

OK I'm going to try to keep this short, because I could seriously write an entire book about how amazing Lauren is. Lets just start at the beginning though. My husband and I had been engaged for a few months when we started out photographer search. To be honest (especially at that time), a photographer wasn't high on our list for importance or something we allotted a large portion of our budget to. I know some people LOVE pictures, but us as a couple we were just not super passionate about it. We were referred to Lauren by another photographer (I should have known right then and there that Lauren would be prefect - Lauren's competitor referred her, because she is THAT good), so we had a FaceTime chat to all get to know each other. First thought before going into that meeting - awkward! Never have I FaceTimed with a stranger. Well I was 100000% wrong. Lauren made the initial meeting seamless and so comfortable. It really was like talking to a good friend. My husband and I were laughing throughout the entire thing, and I even kicked him under the table to let him know that we are hiring Lauren right then and there.
Another HUGE plus about Lauren was that she was super flexible about our wants and needs. Like I said before, neither of us were huge into photography, so we were iffy about how much we wanted to spend. Lauren customized an entire package for us that it met exactly what we were looking for! I also want to add, she was happy to do it. It's one thing to bend to your customers, but it's another to be so willing, excited, and happy to do it. Also, look no further if you need other referrals or recommendations either...Lauren has referrals for any vendor that you could ever need.
Fast forward to the engagement session....we wouldn't change a thing about those pictures. It amazes me how comfortable Lauren made us feel and how quickly she was able to get those shots (it was a MN winter and we were outdoors - so quick is nice in this case)! We were blown away when we saw our pictures! As Lauren told us, the engagement session is kind of like practice for the big day, and that practice went perfectly. Truly after that engagement session, we started changing out minds about photography (in a positive way) - Lauren has a gift :)
The wedding day was perfect. One of the reasons the wedding day was so great was because Lauren helped us by putting together a timeline for the entire day/evening. Sometimes I felt bad because I felt like Lauren was our wedding planner and not the photographer - but it's what she does and she does it fantastically, all with energy and a smile on her face. She really is the whole package, folks. Anyways, the wedding day was perfect and almost every one of our family and wedding party members have commented on how much they loved Lauren; that says a lot when some of these people were only around her for a few moments. HUGE STATEMENT: Lauren got our pictures back to us in about 1.5 weeks! We were completely blown away that we got them back so quickly, but even more blown away with how amazing they all turned out. There's not one (in the rough 1,000) that I would delete, and this is coming from a person who does not like being in pictures.
I cannot say this enough....but hire Lauren Baker Photography. You will not be disappointed. Besides being so energetic, hilarious, friendly, and passionate, she has a real gift and is able to capture the perfect shots. She goes well beyond the duties of a typical photographer, and she really focuses on YOU as a couple. Plus, she likes dogs ;) -

Lauren and her colleague Brianna were incredible! On the wedding day, they took charge to make sure we stayed on schedule and got all the photos we wanted but were still flexible and open to any additional pictures and changes. They directed and posed us (which we really needed) to make sure we could get the best possible photos. They truly captured our day better than I could've ever imaged.
Working with Lauren leading up to the wedding was also a breeze! She was always very responsive and answered any questions I had. She made the entire process super simple, and provided additional guides and materials beforehand to make sure I was prepared.
I 100% recommend Lauren Baker Photography. -

Lauren is hands.down.AMAZING. We went to two wedding fairs, and talked with many photographers. I knew I wanted someone who had good examples of indoor and outdoor work (our venue (for ceremony and reception) was inside and we took wedding party and family photos outside). I also knew I wanted to work with someone directly, vs a larger company who I would not meet the photographer beforehand. Finally, we had a budget we wanted to work with, and while many photographers had big packages with fancy books, prints, and engagement shoots, we knew what we needed and what mattered most to us. Lauren fit all the above criteria perfectly, allowing us to customize what we needed for our wedding photography, met with us several times before the wedding, and most importantly, made us both feel relaxed from the moment we met her. Our pictures turned out so beautifully, and truly captured the joy, the feel, and the details that went in to our day. I’ve been to and in several weddings over the last few years, and I have to say, Lauren blew all the other photographers out of the water. She dressed and presented herself professionally, led the day in appropriate ways at appropriate times, and I even found my DJ and hair and makeup artist through her! -

Lauren was an absolute DREAM to work with! My husband was not at all excited to do, let alone pay someone to take, any sort of photos, but after meeting with Lauren, we knew she was the one we wanted to photograph our wedding. Her artistic style of photography and easy going personality is exactly what we were looking for! We started out with the engagement session, where Lauren made us laugh, have fun and forget we were even in front of a camera. The wedding day was even better! She was able to get a great mix of adorable candid and naturally posed shots. We had so much fun! She went above and beyond to make sure we got the best photos possible.
The turn around time for our photos was so fast! We hadn’t even returned from our honeymoon and our wedding photos were ready!
I recommend Lauren to anyone and everyone I can, especially those who feel they are awkward in front of a camera.

Look no further! Lauren is simply the best! My wedding was a brides worst nightmare- flooding, spring blizzards and a venue change 1 week before the wedding day! Despite all the chaos, Lauren rolled with the punches and went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure everything was perfect for the big day. She checked in often and asked all the right questions. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our photos and look forward to working with Lauren again in the future. We highly recommend!! -

Lauren Exceeded Our Expectations!
My husband and I decided to go with Lauren as our wedding photographer because of her personality and style of photos. When we met her she was excited to meet us and was easy to talk to. She continued to impress us through our whole experience working with her, and she exceeded our expectations. Her goofy personality made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and she was able to capture genuine smiles and laughs. She is also quick to respond to emails and very helpful with other aspects of wedding planning, such as creating a timeline for the day! I would recommend Lauren to all of our family, friends, and beyond! -

My husband and I looked for months to find the perfect photographer and after interviewing multiple Photographers we felt Lauren was the best fit for us. She made our day so much fun and easy and might I say the photographs from our wedding are absolutely amazing!!!! I didn't worry about how I looked or the timeline of where I needed to be. Lauren took control and helped me relax and really enjoy our day all while capturing our day so beautifully. She was pivotal in making our day perfect. She found little opportunities to make the perfect photo all with a calm ease that comes from someone who has an artistic eye along with experience in understanding the flow of a wedding. It was so nice to have the engagement session to meet her and see her style and also not be so awkward around the camera. She took many, many amazing photos of our wedding day, she was very responsive to what we wanted, she was awesome dealing with our crazy families and friends (and our dog, who was a part of our wedding day), super responsive, and she got our pictures back to us so quickly! Could not recommend her more.

She is punctual, professional, and has a great skill for making people for comfortable in front of the camera! Not only was she great on the day of our wedding, but she was so helpful in setting the schedule for the day! She offered great advice and helpful hints to ensure the day would go smoothly. Everyone who interacted with Lauren on our wedding day had nothing but positive things to say about her! We are so happy to have selected Lauren as our photographer! It was one of the greatest decisions we made for our wedding! We got our engagement photos back so quickly after our session with her! Two days after our wedding, we woke up to an email from Lauren with 12 sneak preview photos from the wedding day. It was such a nice surprise and we are thankful to have these photos to hold us over until we get the rest! If you're considering selecting Lauren as your wedding photographer, do it!
