  Best decision for our wedding was hiring Laura!!

  Hiring Laura was the best decision we made for our wedding! She was so attentive, flexible, and responsive. We literally didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day. She did a great job at setting up the decoration and made our vision come to life. She made everything run so smoothly - if there was an issue, we weren't even made aware of it because she was able to quickly solve it. We were able to truly enjoy the wedding day thanks to Laura! Highly recommend you hire her!

  Hire Laura for a Stress-Free Wedding Day!

  We hired Laura as our day of coordinator. Several months before the wedding she sent us an info sheet to complete before the walk through a month before the wedding. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the questions. However, it made the walk through so much easier. I walked into that meeting super overwhelmed, but walked out of it feeling like we could have the wedding tomorrow. We had a pretty large wedding party and Laura was great at wrangling them during the rehearsal and providing helpful tips for the next day. She did a great job of decorating the venue with very little instructions and very skillfully repurposed the flowers from the ceremony in the reception space. Highly recommend!

  Hire Laura!!!

  If you are considering a full time wedding planner, partial planner, or day-of coordinator, look no further - Laura is the best!! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with her as our DOC. She did an outstanding job setting up our venue better than we could have imagined, keeping us on schedule, dealing with a difficult vendor —- and doing it all with a smile. She is calm, cool, and collected (exactly what you want!) and we’ll always be grateful for her kindness to our friends and family. Thank you, Laura!!!

  A calming and sweet presence on our wedding day

  Laura is as sweet as sugar! I could tell from my first phone call with her that she was going to be a very calming presence on the day of our event—something I needed very much—as our family isn’t particularly calm! We hired Laura for day-of coordination services. On the day of our event, Laura knew exactly what needed to be done. She helped tremendously with extra décor and getting photos and flowers and plenty of other items set up for us. She gave us several GREAT tips and tricks throughout the process—[if you want to know exactly what, you’ll have to hire her!]---which saved us hundreds of dollars and gave our décor some serious impact. She and our venue coordinator somehow managed to have us all packed up and ready to go within an hour of ending our event. A true miracle when you’re exhausted and ready to collapse. My only regret is that I didn’t get to work with her more throughout this process to get to know her better! I recommend Laura without hesitation.

  Laura is wonderful!

  Selecting Laura as our Day of Coordinator was one of the best decisions we made! Our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic and Laura was so flexible when we needed to change our date. I am an event planner, so it was important to have someone manage our day of details who was organized and easy to work with. Laura was both. She has such a calming demeanor you just know she's got everything under control. And her smile is infectious! Our 3 yr old nephew crashed hard after the ceremony and Laura was keeping an eye over him while he napped (totally not in the job description!). If I could make one suggestion, it would be let Laura do her thing! I had no preference where or how things were set up, and really just told Laura to do what she thought was best and I'm so glad I did! She's a true professional, and liked by all of our vendors. Highly recommend!

  The best out there!

  Laura truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She thinks of all the right questions in advance so you don't have to worry about answering them the day of the wedding.
  
  We went to a number of other weddings and the coordinator was nowhere to be found the day of the wedding. That is not the case with Laura! She is always by your side when you need her the most or busy taking care of things when you are enjoying the reception. Always on her feet!
  
  Most importantly, my parents were over THE MOON at how smooth it went, all thanks to her. Her advice was incredibly helpful at every step along the way. Everything went off without a hitch for us and we were able to have one of the greatest nights of our lives!

  100% Recommend, Zero Reservations!

  Laura was amazing! She responded to emails extremely quickly, was super organized both during the run-up to the wedding and during the event. We hired her as a day-of coordinator only but she was still really helpful in the run-up to the wedding (gave recommendations on vendors and decor, etc.). We also rented some items for Laura for the event (shutters to display escort cards, a ladder for hanging greenery, a s'mores display, etc.) and they were all great value and SO convenient. We barely saw Laura during the event (a very good thing as she was behind the scenes making everything run 100% perfectly), and she helped us nail the rehearsal and the decorations. We 100% recommend Laura with zero reservations!

  Forever grateful!

  Laura did an amazing job as our day of wedding coordinator on the hottest of days! She knew exactly what to do to manage the extreme weather while taking care of every detail of setting up the ceremony and reception. Her energy, experience, and professionalism ensured the day unfolded just as my daughter had envisioned. As the mother of the bride, I am forever grateful that both my daughter and I were able to enjoy the entire day without worrying about anything! I highly recommend Laura and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Laura and watching her in action at our wedding had nothing but praise for her.

  I didn't have to worry about a thing!

  I used Laura as a day of coordinator for my wedding and she was an absolute dream to work with! She was on top of every little detail and I never felt rushed or stressed at any point. She even ran interference when a family member tried to take control. I would absolutely recommend her for your special day!

  Organized, Patient, Personable, Creative, Easy Going

  Laura D was an outstanding partial wedding planner. She was always available and quick to reply. We asked her a million questions and she gave us a lot of different ideas for how to bring our wedding to life. We really enjoyed working with Laura and meeting with Laura. She is always friendly, creative and on top of everything. She has a gift for what she does and we are so glad we hired her. It took a lot of stress off of us leading up to the event and the day of by using her.

  The absolute best!

  As the Mother of the Bride, I knew the minute I met Laura that we would work well together. We contracted her as our Day of Coordinator. My daughter and now son-in-law's wedding had a lot of moving parts to it and executing everything on the day of was flawless because of Laura. She was there for the rehearsal and then the day of to help pin boutonnieres, manage deliveries, execute the decorating, travel to the church and make sure everyone had the perspective flowers, and get the wedding party down the isle and then travel back to the venue to make sure everything was executed the way the couple envisioned. She even put together the "give away" gifts exactly the way my daughter wanted and the sparklers were lit in a perfectly timed manner! If you are considering a Day of Planner, do not look any further. She is amazing and does it with an infectious SMILE.

  Laura is the ideal coordinator to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator. My step mom met Laura while checking out some venues and immediately took to her. Laura was so enthusiastic about my wedding and helped me make my dreams come true. I did not have one worry the entire time I was planning my wedding. Laura answered every single question I had and put my mind at ease. I absolutely loved working with her. I got so many compliments after my wedding regarding the set up, decor and how smoothly everything went and I owe so much of that to laura!!!

  As an event planner myself, I have pretty high standards when it comes to someone else being in charge on my wedding day. Laura Dugas of Laura Dee Events exceeded every expectation I had. We met her while touring our venue, and immediately recognized how knowledgable and friendly she was. As our day-of coordinator, she was extremely communicative and organized, giving us updated floor plans and asking us great questions that helped us frame our wedding. She took charge at the rehearsal and helped everyone know exactly where to be. On the day of the wedding, Laura made sure every aspect was complete and that all vendors loaded in and out on time. I often looked around to see if something was done, only to find Laura already taking care of it. I felt like the pressure of organizing the event was off of me, and that I could completely trust her to handle everything. Thank you, Laura!

She took charge at the rehearsal and helped everyone know exactly where to be. On the day of the wedding, Laura made sure every aspect was complete and that all vendors loaded in and out on time. I often looked around to see if something was done, only to find Laura already taking care of it. I felt like the pressure of organizing the event was off of me, and that I could completely trust her to handle everything. Thank you, Laura!

  No words can do Laura justice!! We hired Laura as our full service planner almost immediately after meeting her based off of her radiant personality and wedding knowledge. Coming from someone who thought she didn't need a wedding planner, trust me, Laura was the best money we spent our of the entire wedding process! I was able to continue with my typical busy daily lifestyle and plan a wedding with Laura for a little over a year. She was on to of everything! I live 8 hours away, so many times we were either rushing to meet when I would come to town or she would FaceTime with me in the evenings.
  
  During the last few weeks of the wedding planning I had a few freak outs. I would reach out to Laura and she magically made my worries go away. On the day of the wedding Laura was as close to perfect as you can get. Our guests had the best time and raved about all of the decor and the way the venue was set up. Our timeline ran very smoothly and any glitches we had, Laura fixed them immediately.
  
  Not only did my family love Laura and everything she did, she also became a friend to us.

  Laura Dugas is simply amazing. We hired Laura to be our day of coordinator for my daughters October wedding and even though she was supposed to be "day of" she was so much more! She was very responsive to email questions about etiquette, decor, colors- anything and everything. She set up all of our decor for the ceremony and reception and it was beautiful. She has a wonderful eye for decor and I can't be happier on how everything was displayed. I recall sitting with her at the pre wedding meeting and feeling a sense of calm overtake me as I realized that I didn't have to worry about a thing, I knew then that our special day was in great hands and it was. The day was perfect. I would highly recommend Laura's services for any type of event but especially a wedding/reception.

  Laura was our day-of wedding coordinator and we are so thankful that we found her! She is experienced, responsive, super helpful, easy to work with, and such a sweet and kind person! Laura helped us organize our entire day, and she gave us such great advice and direction throughout our planning process. I had an idea of what I wanted our wedding to be like, but wasn't quite sure exactly how to make it happen, and Laura was able to take my ideas and execute on them flawlessly. On the day-of, Laura took all of my decorations was able to set them up and arrange them in ways even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She made everything look absolutely gorgeous! When I saw our reception space decorated with all of Laura's touches, I was so happy I almost cried!
  
  Our day wouldn't have come together the way it did without Laura! I highly, highly recommend that all brides have a day-of coordinator, and Laura is the perfect choice!   Laura was an absolutely fabulous wedding coordinator for our New Years Eve wedding!! We met her while touring our venue, and immediately knew she would be great to work with. We hired her as our 'day-of wedding coordinator' - which included a 30 day out meeting for planning and coordination, running the rehearsal the day before, and her coordination on the day of the wedding!
  
  Laura was so easy to work with, very organized, super nice, smart, trustworthy, and really knows her stuff when it comes to weddings! She was able to take all the information I gave her (which was a TON), and turn it into the wedding of my dreams. She worked flawlessly with the other vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch. I even had some rather difficult requests for some of the timing and way things were presented, and she made it all happen. She was also great about suggesting and giving guidance when I needed it, or if she knew something wasn't going to work, which was really great and helpful!
  
  I would absolutely recommend Laura to anyone! She was well worth the investment - our wedding would not have been the same without her, and honestly, we could not have done it without her. She made it so I was able to enjoy my day as a bride (and everyone else involved was able to enjoy their role as well) - and that is priceless :-) !

  Laura made our wedding day SO perfect!! We met her while touring our venue and I loved her sweet, bubbly attitude and that she was so familiar with our venue. She was super easy to work with and flexible with our budget. I didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. I barely saw Laura the day of because she was so busy working and running around making sure everything was perfect. She has a great eye for design as well. It's like she took my pinterest board and made our dream wedding come to life!! I know she worked hard to make sure we were all relaxed and didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Laura for everything!!
