The venue is beautiful and the pictures speak for themselves. It doesn't get much better than an oceanside sunset view during your wedding, but what sets L'Auberge apart is the quality of their staff. From the sales manager to the event service manager and the banquet staff, everyone is extremely professional and genuinely friendly. They are truly a service-oriented team and will do their best to make sure your dream wedding experience becomes a reality. -

We had the most magical wedding at L'Auberge. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and you feel so welcomed from the moment you walk in. Every single staff member from valet, waiter, bartender, servers were so incredibly attentive. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and the attention to detail was impeccable. Dionne, the event service manager, was amazing and really made it such a seamless experience for us. I could not have imagined the day going any better, our wedding was absolutely magical. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you again to everyone at L'Auberge! -

We celebrated our wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar two weeks ago, and we could not have had a better experience! Starting from our initial venue tour with Whitney, all the way through the planning process with Dionne, and then into the actual wedding weekend and day of with the whole team, everything was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful (you can't beat the ocean views and the gorgeously appointed property), the food is delicious (thanks to Chef and her team for accommodating our various dietary needs!), and the team is friendly and accommodating. In addition to our actual wedding, we hosted a brunch the next day at L'Auberge, and it was also wonderful! We also had a number of our guests stay at the hotel, and they raved about their time there! -

ABSOLUTELY the most luxurious experiences I could have imagined. My husband & I got married on October 7, 2023 and had the opportunity to work with the most amazing event services managers, Dionne. From the day we checked in to the day we left the venue, we were treated like royalty. Not only that but we were incredibly blessed to have the most gorgeous cotton candy skies sunset during our reception that made it all feel like a dream. From staff, to details, to venue location, to literally everything, L'auberge exceeded my expectations. HIGHLY recommend as the #1 venue to get married!! -

Having our wedding at L'Auberge was a dream come true. The L'Auberge team truly knows how to deliver 5 star service. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process. We felt at ease knowing that we had a reliable and experienced team handling the biggest parts of our big day. Our tasting experience was incredible. The food and service the day of our wedding was AMAZING. And of course the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. We look forward to returning to L'Auberge over the years for our future anniversaries to celebrate and reminisce on our incredible wedding weekend. -

L’auberge Del Mar
My wife and I had an incredible wedding at the L’auberge. With all the preparations and spending involved we were still blown away on the day of at the level or service and overall beauty of the venue.
Allyssa was very helpful in answering our 100s of questions to make sure everything went perfectly for our special day. She really stayed on top of everything. I highly recommend a wedding at this amazing venue! -

My husband and I recently got married on the Pacific Terrace overlooking the ocean at L'Auberge Del Mar. We absolutely loved the venue and the L'Auberge team. The surrounding area is also incredible for wedding guests - there is so much to do and everything is extremely convenient, which makes for a fantastic wedding weekend experience for all involved!
Allyssa is an absolute gem, and she is truly a pleasure to work with! She and her team went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and valued throughout our entire wedding process, especially during our wedding weekend! There were a number of personal touches that she included which made our experience all that much better. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make the weekend magical!
I would recommend the hotel and the L'Auberge team to any future couple looking to get married within the area. We had so much fun and can't wait to visit the property again very soon!! -

Absolutely beautiful!
Allyssa from L'Auberge made my wedding dream come true! She was amazing to work with and was extremely responsive/helpful with everything I needed. I had a big wedding party and Allyssa was able to accommodate us with two bridal getting ready suites so we had more room for pictures. That was a game changer for us! I even had to change my wedding date and L'Auberge was so flexible and made everything work. Highly recommend having your wedding at L'Auberge, it is really so beautiful!! Thank you Allyssa! -

We just got married on 10/16/20 and it was a dream! Best day of our lives thus far! Given the current state of the world, the venue and our coordinator, Courtney Ikeda still ensured we had the wedding we envisioned and it was perfect! The venue and all of the staff really worked with us on all of our needs and requests! We are so happy! So many compliments from all of our guests and the whole wedding party! -

L'Auberge Del Mar is the absolute best and a dream wedding venue in every way!! I live in Texas and have always wanted to get married outdoors, so we made the decision to have a destination wedding after getting engaged in San Diego and discovering L'Auberge! Best decision ever!! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and the location/views could not be better! They have a lovely pool and it's just a short walk down to the beach directly from the hotel. It's the perfect size hotel for a destination wedding and the perfect place for guests to get to experience Del Mar! They have the best wedding package options and everyone at L'Auberge was so amazing to work with from the start. We were originally supposed to get married in June but had to postpone our wedding to October due to Covid. L'Auberge made the entire process as stress-free as possible and did everything they could to work with us during this crazy year to help make my dream wedding come true - and boy did they deliver! We worked mostly with Courtney, who is the absolute best!! Nothing but amazing things to say about her! She was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire process and did everything in her power to make sure our wedding could happen safely. They were flexible and patient with us, and always upfront about the policies/guidelines/etc. They allowed us to have our wedding as we planned it, without having to disinvite guests or change major aspects, all while following the safety protocols. They were also willing to give us a full refund if we chose to cancel given the circumstances, which was so huge!! We of course decided to move forward with the wedding, and we are so happy we did!! We had our ceremony upstairs on the Pacific Terrace, which is also where we had our reception. Everything was absolutely stunning and perfect! And the food was incredible!! Best Short Rib I've ever had (we got TONS of compliments on the food from all of our guests - everyone loved the Salmon and the Short Rib!). The service was impeccable and all of our guests had the best time. I wouldn't change a single thing and I will be recommending L'Auberge to anyone and everyone who is looking to get married in the San Diego/Del Mar area! -

We cannot be more thrilled with L'Auberge Del Mar as the venue for my daughter's wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect and our guests all said it was the best wedding they had ever attended! From start to finish, the professionalism, caring, thoughtfulness and attention to detail made the whole process easy and wonderful. We fell in love with L'Auberge on our first visit when looking for a venue- it was the first one we saw and we cancelled all the other visits. The setting and view are spectacular. You can't find a more beautiful place for a wedding by the sea. The hotel is luxurious without being pretentious- just charming and so relaxed and fun. The beach is right there and you can walk everywhere in Del Mar! As a destination wedding, it couldn't have been more perfect for our guests. The wedding was spectacular in every way- the food is amazing, the staff are so wonderful and attentive and the sunset background made it all breathtaking. I can't say enough good things about Courtney Ikeda. She was so kind, thoughtful and professional from start to finish. She made everything so easy despite this being a traumatic Covid year. We had to cancel our original wedding on June 13th due to Covid. We were given the option of cancelling with a full refund or rescheduling. We chose to reschedule to October and were able to have a beautiful, safe, smaller outdoor wedding. They allowed us to adjust our numbers and went out of the way to help us plan long distance to create the wedding of my daughter's dreams.
The wedding packages they offer are fabulous and make planning so easy and keeping on budget a realistic possibility. You know exactly what it's going to cost up front and so much is included you don't need as many other vendors. We are thrilled and miss L'Auberge already. Can't wait to plan a trip back for our next vacation. -

Rachel Sent on 06/19/2020Amazing Venue - Had to Cancel Due to Covid w/FULL REFUND!!
My fiancé and I fell in love with L'Auberge's beachy chic vibe right away, and we loved that so much was included and we didn't need to hire a bunch of outside vendors. Every step of the way, there was lots of communication, and they were so helpful. Unfortunately, we planned our wedding for April 18, 2020, which was right at the start of the pandemic lockdown in SoCal. L'Auberge was quick to help us find a new date without any additional charge. They made it easy and quick. However, our new date was August 28, 2020. Despite it being legal to have the wedding, we didn't feel safe having it then, and L'Auberge let us out of our contract with a FULL REFUND. We didn't think that would be possible, but it was such a huge relief for us given the chaos in the world right now. We're so grateful and aware that this pandemic has also had a negative impact on the travel industry and has likely hit L'Auberge hard as well. We really appreciate everything they've done for us leading up to the wedding, in rescheduling the wedding, and in cancelling the wedding. THANK YOU!!
(Side note: our INCREDIBLE planner at Southern House, Kayla Gantzer, was also a big part of this positive experience, for anyone looking!)
