Extremely Pleased with the Farmhouse in Hampton, NJ
Huge shout out to the Farmhouse in Hampton, NJ! We were able to plan a wedding in only 3.5 months because of this dedicated and talented team. The entire experience was easy, fun, and professional. The entire team was reliable, organized, and efficient which gave us ability to have peace of mind throughout the process. Gina Milo took such great care of us leading up to and on the day our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with this venue and the amazing staff! -

My husband and I had the best day ever celebrating our wedding at Celebrate at Snug Harbor. The grounds were incredible and made for the most gorgeous wedding photos I could have ever imagined. The ceremony at the Tuscan Garden and the reception in the tented pavilion were memories that I will carry with me forever. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly, accommodating and attentive to not just us but all of our guests. Our planner, Terra, listened to all of our thoughts/feedback and helped craft a wedding that perfectly reflected our personalities. All of our special requests were fulfilled without hesitation. We could not be more grateful to Terra and the crew at Snug Harbor for making our day truly spectacular! -

My husband and I discovered Snug Harbor and its gorgeous gardens on a bike ride a few years ago. So, when we were planning for our big day, we were thrilled to learn that it was a wedding venue.
Snug Harbor is a true gem, and so is Landmark Venues. We worked with Terra, who is such a wonderful and helpful person. She gave us a tour of Snug Harbor's different wedding locations, and helped us choose the one that fit us best.
I probably emailed Terra dozens of emails with random questions, and she promptly answered all of them. I was very impressed, especially because other vendors I worked with were difficult to reach sometimes. But Terra was always available. She even recommended hotels, flower vendors and photographers.
On the day of the wedding, the entire staff helped everything run smoothly and perfectly. We wanted an outdoor wedding in the White Garden, but it happened to rain. They still set up chairs outside (just in case!) but also set up chairs inside the beautiful Upper Great Hall, where we had the ceremony.
We did a Sunday brunch, and the food following the ceremony was amazing. So was the Palermo's bakery cake. The acoustics (we had a live band) were great, and there was lots of room for dancing.
The bridal attendant helped me so much. She got me food and brought over coffee, wine, wedding cake, etc. She also helped me find all of my belongings as the wedding wrapped up. I don't know what I would have done without her!
We had such a great experience with Snug Harbor. I would highly recommend this venue to other couples. -

My now husband and I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Snug Harbor. We had the ceremony in the Tuscan Garden and the reception in the Tented Pavilion. All our guests were raving about the stunning venue. They could not believe we were on Staten Island.
Terra and her team were extremely professional. We are so grateful to her and her entire team. They made the day stress free! Terra coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors. We never had to hear a peep!
As usual, as the bride I didn't really eat much- but what I did get was delicious! Our guests raved about the food. We have an extended cocktail reception. The guests loved all the station options- especially the Asian stir fry!
So if you are looking for a beautiful venue, with an experienced staff and great food options look no further than Snug Harbor! -

Celebrate at Snug Harbor is truly one of the last “hidden gem” event venues in the NY metro area. My husband and I dreamed of a garden wedding and were excited to discover that Landmark Hospitality, one of the most highly regarded wedding venue operators in our area, had a garden property. We were speechless when we visited the property. Snug Harbor’s Chinese Scholar Gardens, formal gardens and lush landscaping immediately transport you out of the commotion of the busy surroundings and into a special, peaceful and intimate oasis. We fell in love immediately and booked the venue as quickly as we could!
My husband and I can’t say enough positive things about the events team at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, specifically Terra Hudson, our Snug Harbor designated event coordinator. Terra’s years of experience in wedding production are evident in her calm, knowledgeable, detailed and reassuring manor. Whenever we presented a question or concern, Terra would provide a thoughtful response and solution to meet our requests. Despite her busy schedule, Terra would always find time to meet and left no stone left unturned in the planning process.
On our wedding day, everything was executed to perfection. From our decorations and table settings to the accommodating staff, delicious food and refreshing cocktails, the Snug Harbor team truly exceeded expectations and made our dream into a reality. There was a surplus of delicious and diverse food for all preferences. The bar was well prepared for the demands of our hot (87 degree) day, and ended the night with a homerun “Adult Milkshake Bar.” Highly recommend!
The team at Snug Harbor made our wedding planning process stress free and facilitated an unforgettable evening for us and our guests. We hope that others will discover this special place! -

Celebrate at Snug Harbor is not just a venue, the buildings and grounds have a personality and a story.
When you enter the great hall you immediately feel a warmth, the title serves the room wonderfully because it is grand. It is the most perfect place to be announced as husband and wife for the first time!
Terra Hudson the wedding coordinator, is a warm ,kind, friendly, and sweet professional.
She helped us with every question, every step of the way.She helped us with ideas, she was super friendly always but most importantly she worked hard behind the scenes from the day we first walked in till our wedding night ending. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much Terra. You know the business and made our night extra ordinary. The bridal attendant, Sam was by far the most on point person I have ever met. My husband and I were amazed by her. She knew what we needed/wanted more than we did. I actually fell in love with her ! She was so sweet and nice but also was on top of the agenda and bridal party. Nothing went wrong and if it did, well my husband and I had no idea ! The Maître D', waitstaff, and bar tenders deserves tons of credit also because they took care of the other 175 guests. All of our friends and family reported back that they had an amAzing time ! And last but not least the FOOD ! The food was better at the wedding than it was at the tasting and the tasting was to die for !!!! Everything and I mean everything was 4-5 stars and we love to eat ... Even our family that are chefs loved the food. What a talented chef and staff in the kitchen . Everything was the best ... Absolutely the best.
We can not sing your praises enough!!!!!
Thank you all so much, our wedding was a dream come true and we owe it to you all!
Warmly,
The G Family -

The place is just beautiful, but the staff really make it exceptional. They are there to help every step of the way. Daniel was our consultant? banquet manager? and she covered every detail and was able to plan ahead for possible issues that might come up. Oh, and she's sweet and smart and gets back to you right away. The food exceeded our expectations. We are foodies and thought "Well, it'll be good for wedding food" We were wrong. It was great for restaurant food. Really the best wedding food I've had. And the presentations were amazing and there was just so much. It's not a traditional ballroom, and it's not cheap but it was worth every penny. It was an incredible night! -

We had our Zen Buddhist wedding 5 days ago. Lauren and Jeanmarie took care of everything. We were so happy with their service, especially since not a lot of places are familiar with our ceremony. Everything was just beyond our expectation and beautiful. The Chinese Scholar Garden was breathtaking at sunset and lent itself seamlessly to our day. Just wonderful! Thanks Lauren and Jeanmarie! -

My husband & I had the most amazing wedding experience at SH. It was everything we could've hoped for and more! Lauren Jaume was incredible to work with - she went above & beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us! She was warm, and professional and we feel lucky to have been able to work with her during the process. Our friends and family are still raving about the food and how beautiful, romantic and fun our wedding was! We highly recommend Lauren & SH!!

Snug Harbor was a beautiful place to have our wedding! Our experience was nothing but positive from the very beginning. Terra, our wedding coordinator, was always responsive, professional and helpful with any questions or concerns I had about the wedding (even when I was emailing her a year before). In addition, Terra was flexible and allowed us to select different parts of the park and design our wedding as we saw fit.
On the day of, I was given a personal attendant (Gabby) who took care of every detail of the wedding. Not only did Gabby take care of my husband and I throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, but she also took care of any hiccups or details that required attention. She was patient, accommodating and saved the day! Another huge plus was the food. Our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful the food was.
Overall, Snug Harbor is a venue that's perfect for you if you're looking for an outdoor wedding that's original and enchanting. We were very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Snug Harbor for your future wedding! -

We had an amazing wedding there on October 15, 2010. We had the downstairs rooms for cocktail & reception, a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and got to enjoy the whole outside (fire pits included!!) for lounging. The views were absolutely magnificent, the food was even better (our guests are still talking about it), & the staff was just awesome & professional. It was so easy planning my wedding there - I never had any moments of 'panic.' Danielle - the coordinator there - ROCKS!!
We wouldn't have chosen any other place to have our wedding. -

Danielle was great throughout the planning process & was willing to work with us on every detail of our day. All the small details that I had worked on were executed perfectly the day of- we dropped everything off a couple days in advance and I would not have set it up any differently if I had been there myself. The food was excellent & our guests loved the view as well as the fire pits! The bridal assistant that was assigned to me was always close by if I needed anything! Overall it was a wonderful day -

I haven't stopped hearing from everyone about how beautiful and amazing the venue was. Can you really beat getting married with the New York skyline in the background on a beautiful clear sunny day!? Everything was well organized and ran fairly smoothly. We had a buffet dinner, so the food did run out at one point, but the guests were fed and the food was tasty, although it was better at the individual tasting, but that is expected. Most of the guests spent the wedding either on the dance floor or outside on the terrace, where a bar and cocktail tables were arranged, the whole thing was open since the space has big french doors to the outside. It was perfect! -

The venue is in an absolutely gorgeous setting on the waterfront of Jersey City overlooking the NYC skyline. People loved the view and took many photos from the outside balcony. Everything was beautiful from the tablecloths to the candles to the scenery. It is very expensive so prepare for that in the budget. But, we looked at cheaper venues and this was the most beautiful place for a wedding. -

From my research, this venue was at the top of my list for our wedding. The aesthetic is so unique from most big, wedding halls I've been to and seen. It has a rustic elegance perfect for a fall wedding.
We had the ceremony outside, which was a bit chilly (even w the space heaters), but turned our to be the prettiest looking ceremonies I ever been to (I know I'm biased)
Aurora, our contact was great to work with. She was pretty responsive and flexible on the menu, which helped us on the total per person cost . The food we had during cocktail hour was outstanding- even better than the tasting! Main course was great as well (we went with the filet and chicken, which we thought were safer choices).
The one hiccup that we experienced was that they forgot to put our cake topper on the cupcake tower, which took away fom the look of the whole thing. I don't know that anyone else noticed, but we were bummed about it.
All in all, the wedding was gorgeous and I think the venue was a great deal. -

This venue is fantastic - the food is great and the view is unbelievable. We got nothing but compliments from the guests.
The day of the wedding I received tons of personal attention and there was someone always around to get me and the groom anything we needed.
The one "issue" for me was responsiveness. Often it took 3-4 emails to get answers while I was planning the wedding, which was a bit frustrating. They definitely pulled through in the end though! -

The venue looked spectacular, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. We appreciated the flexibility afforded as to menu options and settings for the family tables. While staff at the stations (cocktail style reception) were friendly and helpful, staff in the Grand Ballroom were not. They did not seem to be enjoying their jobs (no smiles or other "friendly" behavior), nor did they ask if anything was needed. Also, the 2 staff members that were introduced to us as the ones coordinating affairs that evening needed to communicate with us more as to the flow of events, for example, when the dinner stations would be set up and dinner would be ready. We could have then announced when guests could finally to go the stations for their dinner selection; instead, there was some confusion. -

We worked with Danielle Villa & had the ceremony in the big tent (because it rained), the cocktail hour in the downstairs room/smaller tent, and the reception upstairs. Our wedding was a bit tricky because they had never done a sit down brunch wedding (for 290 people nonetheless!). We had a cocktail hour with breakfast style foods followed by a 4 course sit down brunch and 2 large antipasti buffet tables for guests to help themselves if they wanted more of a lunch. Everyone raved about the food. My only complaint was that it took too long for the food to come out. We had a fruit salad preset on the table & the courses following the pre-set took way too long. This was something that they had never done before (and it was a big party) so that may be the reason. All in all, everyone eventually got their food and was very happy with it. Danielle is great to work with, but a strong personality. She will do whatever she can to make it work even though it took a little pushing on our part. She pulled it off & I was very happy with her. We didn't necessarily trust her on some aspects, but in the end she was right all along! -

1. The food was amazing. I mean, crazy good. We had a buffet style dinner, and were able to create a custom menu comprised of Italian and Cuban food. Dave the chef is a genius. And so are his kitchen mates.
2. Jeanmarie was the best! She really sold me on the venue, and without her, I would have been really lost with a lot of the planning. If I could rate her, she definitely gets 5/5 stars.
3. The hall was beautiful. Even without my beautiful flowers and decorations, the hall looked gorgeous.
Cons:
1. A lot of little things were neglected. They forgot to print menus for the tables, which was important because there were different types of food at all the stations, and people were unsure of their options. They forgot to put down the parquet dance floor. Dessert stations were not announced and people had no idea they were there. (We were reimbursed for this afterwards)
2. A few of my guests had an issue with a waitress. Like, a sexual harassment issue. And the staff was drinking a lot during the wedding. (I was told that this waitress was fired)
3. There was a general vibe of disorganization going on there. Miscommunication, and perhaps lack of communication between the staff at times. -

This score is by no means a reflection of my coordinator Jeanmarie. She was outstanding, and I highly recommend her! However, I have many gripes about the wedding day itself when the Maitre d' took over. She was rude to my bridal party, my DJ (who was exemplory by the way!), AND MY HUSBAND! Not only did she call us into the reception 45 minutes late, but when my husband asked for additional time since we were delayed due to the food not being ready, she argued with him and only gave us an extra 20 minutes - made it sound like she was doing us a huge favor! A word of advice for future brides, don't let any venue operators bully you. -

Great space but NOT what I wanted service-wise
I have waited months to write this review of The View in Lincoln Park / Landmark Venues as a whole. We had booked an inclusive venue from what we thought was a well-established company in the wedding business thinking it would make our lives easier and avoid the need to spend additional money on a wedding planner but they were difficult to work with all around.
The venue itself is beautiful, the food was wedding-reception-tasty and we booked in May of 2023 for a July 2024 wedding and were able to secure some promotional pricing. These are the only positives I have to share.
The issues began during a venue visit in September of 2023. The outdoor ceremony space had a chain link fence surrounding it. This was the case when we signed but I was told by VIVIAN BIFULCO, our Event Coordinator at the time, that the space was going to be landscaped and made suitable for a ceremony. It was apparent by September that the venue had no plans to do this, so I asked for an alternate solution. They proposed having the ceremony on the third floor space, which was previously off-limits to us. I said “Great, send over an updated contract.” At this meeting I also needed to adjust my headcount down from 130 to 110.
Upon having Viv send over the new contract—which only had some of the changes we had requested—we quickly realized that Landmark / Vivian had previously only sent us a payment terms document and had attempted to pass off what was actually the original contract as a revision.
Upon discovering this, my now-husband and I immediately picked up on ambiguities within both documents that could potentially have had us paying significantly more in cancellation fees (if we had to cancel). Upon approaching Vivian about this, we had explained that we were under the impression that the payment schedule we had signed in May served as Landmark’s protection in the event we canceled and asked that cancellation terms be updated to align to reflect this understanding. This ask was above Vivian, but she proceeded to drag her feet on getting an updated contract and became barely responsive over email, conveniently seeming to forget the status of the contract changes. Eventually we were calling the CFO of Landmark Venues, SCOTT GROGAN, directly. I asked that he make the changes and arrange for Vivian to be removed from our wedding.. In October of 2023 I had to send a strongly worded email to Scott explaining that he had missed our agreed upon by-when date to make the changes we asked for and we intended to pull out. He had received periodic reminders prior to this. He then replied immediately, cited “personal issues” as a reason for the delay, sent the updated contract, and then matched us with MATTHEW TOBJY as our new Event Coordinator.
We thought this could be a positive change in the relationship since we had toured Hudson House, another Landmark Venue, with Matthew and had initially liked him.
MATTHEW TOBJY was better at responding to emails than Vivian, but only seemed to have 75% of the information at any given time. Specific moments I found troubling during the course of planning our event were as follows:
I had scheduled a venue visit with our florist where Matthew told me explicitly that the ceremony space would be set to a configuration for 110 so the florist could see it. When we arrived it was NOT set to a configuration for 110. He explained they don’t configure the space unless there is an event, to which I responded “Then why would you tell me you would have it set?”
Our tasting, which was scheduled to take place at their sister venue Liberty State Park, was rescheduled the morning of due to flooding. While it was admittedly a bad weather day, I must emphasize it was NOT A SEVERE WEATHER EVENT where we were advised to not travel. My mom was very close to traveling to attend the tasting, my now-husband’s family had changed their plans to be there, and I lost wages to accommodate the date, so I considered the late notice completely unacceptable. Ultimately all of the dates provided were not able to be attended by our families so we were the only couple at the group tasting without our families (we brought friends).
At the tasting, menu items had changed vs. what Vivian had written in our original contract. They were able to serve some of the original menu items at our wedding, but we were understandably disappointed we could not try them ahead of time.
Matthew attempted to charge us a $325 early entry fee needed for my HMUA to complete our wedding looks. This early entry fee was NOT written in the updated contract (which Matthew plainly admitted), but was listed on a promotional packet that had outdated information (see the above point about menu items). Our early entry need should also not have been a surprise to the team at The View since my invite time was 4pm since day one. My now-husband had to advocate for that fee to be waived, and even still, Matthew did not allow us in at an optimal time of 7am. It only ended up working because one of the moms opted out of professional hair and makeup to help us.
The bridal attendant was not available until 1pm even though we had negotiated 8am early entry, so I had to feed my entire bridal party and our moms.
MATTHEW HIMSELF WAS NOT PRESENT ON SITE UNTIL 11AM.
Matthew overlooked multiple asks via email for a floorplan showing a specific number of 72 inch rounds and 60 inch rounds. Eventually I went into Google slides and generated a mockup myself. When sent to Matthew, he described it as “really helpful” which was immensely frustrating because he could have helped himself. He also would have benefited from doing this himself because day of I double checked all table placements and chair counts and ultimately staff had to push everything over slightly to make the dance floor larger (which was needed).
I asked in an email for him to double confirm the # of rows in the ceremony setup for a guest count of 110 for the benefit of my florist and he could only provide a range. I pressed him to give exact numbers, and of course on day-of the configuration turned out to be different-but-better than what he said so I told my florist to “roll with it and make it pretty,” which she thankfully did. I don’t think Matthew understands that a lack of precision leads to incurred floral costs on the part of the bride
We had our final details meeting but there was NO WEDDING DAY TIMELINE PROVIDED to me a week out from my wedding. Matthew sent a banquet order that showed invite time, ceremony time, cocktail hour, reception start, meals, cake cutting, and load out, which my MOH who works in the events industry said was not enough for even an event coordinator to work off of, and that in lieu of having a planner, she has seen the venue create that. That being said, I had to BUILD MY OWN WEDDING DAY TIMELINE and individually check in with each vendor to ensure they knew their arrival time. I shared this with Matthew to ensure he had the information he needed.
Day of we noticed there was no place to discreetly dispose of feminine products in the stalls of the guest-facing restroom. This was coupled with signs that suggested that flushing items would be “an inconvenience to you” (as a guest) felt really weird, so I asked the bridal attendant to take the signs down. It’s not that hard to put wastebaskets in the stalls vs. outside of them, and honestly, I almost moved all small trash cans I could find in there. I made a point to explain to Matthew that if you’re in the wedding business, you should understand how to make women as comfortable as possible.
The only rehearsal time that was offered to us was an hour before our wedding and Matthew was not upstairs on time for this. We had to go get him for this. I’m not certain he was needed at all but we would have been late on this key moment had I not made a groomsman check his phone.
It was 4:27pm for a 4:30pm ceremony and nobody had gotten my bridal party. We knew our marks so we proceeded to bring ourselves to the ceremony space for the processional.
My bridal party was asked to sit at their table at the reception before our reception walkout to place their dinner orders when the venue could have used the documents I provided for the seating chart to determine who sat where and asked this information earlier in the day.
This is secondhand information, but it seems like the event coordinator did not realize our plan for walkout and was giving my bridal party direction to stand to the side when we walked out to a party song and wanted everyone up to dance right away. I also had to tell the wedding band (a nontraditional option) to “ignore instructions from the event coordinator and come upstairs” because they were told to be in the wrong place.
The wedding band also told me after the event (at my after party) that vendor load in was chaotic and it only worked because my vendors were all smart and resourceful.
Here are some additional minor comments about everything else but not directly related to Matthew, Viv, or Scott:
- My signature cocktails weren’t well mixed. I had mine redone since it was ALL tequila in my strawberry basil paloma (and I seemed to be the only one not hungover the next day)
- The halibut was chewier than at the tasting in a bad way (many still liked it) while most other items were way better. Per Viv (who I weirdly enough saw at an event prior to my wedding) the chef who did the tasting was different than the chef who did my wedding so I guess we lucked out.
- My bridal attendant (Jackie) was honestly overall great, but boy did she seem to have a hard time pinning me after my bustle broke! Family members had to rush in and help her so that I didn’t spend my entire reception off to the side
- Friends/fam did really like the Maitre D (forgot his name). I think he helped us nail the cake cutting photos, too!
- The bridal suite could benefit from a mini fridge for food/drink but also perhaps for floral preservation purposes. It also seemed to get hot/humid in the suite despite numerous attempts to drop the temperature.-

So, tried to plan a wedding here and could not get a straight answer. From different dates available to fluctuating prices for the event, we were treated like we did not matter at all. For someone wanting to spend 20,000 and up you would expect an answer to your first 2 or 3 emails. This place is a wedding factory and they think they are hot shit, so unless you have 200+ people attending and you are throwing $$ in there face you might as well forget it. By the way... the decor inside is AWFUL! -

Terrible experience, especially throughout COVID
Non-responsive and lack of communication throughout the entire planning process. I would recommend that you explore other venues as these people clearly do not care about their clients. -

Our wedding was October 13, 2019 at the boat House at Mercer County Park and we were very unhappy. I wrote a letter to the owners of the Landmarc venue and received no reply! Our wedding coordinator was not available for the rehearsal. We had to climb up on the canopy ourselves and decorated which was both dangerous and a liability for the boat House at Mercer County Park if someone would’ve gotten hurt. When we arrived at the appetizer hour the appetizers ran out Along with the forks and plates and the guest for asking me as the mother of the bride for plates forks and appetizers. The venue had received a listing of how many words each table well in advance. The brides Family had to stand and wait for staff to sit more plates in with chairs which made it seem as though some of the guests at the table were not planned on attending? The wedding cake was cut up against the wall and it was not rolled into the center of the reception where everyone could be aware that the cake was getting cut is Customary at every single wedding. The bride was given a broken knife cutter to cut the cake and she had a wind up cutting it with the server! Where was the staff? The staff began cleaning up a full 30 minutes before the end of the wedding so guest left because of course they felt awkward well people cleaning up the tables and removing all aspects of the wedding. By the time the wedding was to end at 4 o’clock every single thing was cleaned up shorting us 30 minutes on our wedding! The next day when the bride and groom came to pick up the top of their cake no one ask them their opinion on the reception, they were not giving any information to fill-in about their satisfaction, there was no polite courtesy of well wishes. The bride and groom we just handed the cake And they left the venue. During the rehearsal our paid wedding coordinator was busy meeting with another couple for their wedding and I was told that during our reception she was meeting with yet another couple instead of being present it out reception. The boathouse at Mercer County Park is a drive-through wedding venue. You will not get service because they’ll be busy meeting with the next person they want to sign contract with for another wedding during the time that you’re having your Celebration. I was horrified not to receive a response from the boat House at Mercer County Park or the owners of landmark venue after I sent them a letter and wrote many reviews on all of the wedding sites! I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else for your special day. Suzanne Bossart, mother of the bride, October 13, 2019 -

I just wanted to let you know what it is like to work with this vendor. First off, my initial call to the vendor I must have caught the gentleman on a bad day because he was rude and abrupt, and kept asking me "Anything else?" because obviously I was bothering him.
Regardless, we had a 2nd conversation going forward. Since the space we wanted was available we started talking catering. We explained that the menu that was available did not accommodate us so we wanted to bring an outside caterer. They said only Hindu or Kosher. So I conceded to doing Kosher (since we are Jewish anyway).
Then I was informed that the Kosher caterer would have to bring everything themselves (since they did not have kosher dishes, etc.) which is fine. So finally I asked for the rate. Mind you using their non-Kosher catering is $50-65 pp plus $15 for open bar. To bring in my own caterer they want $80 pp (plus whatever the Kosher Caterer charges).
I was outraged and still am. I asked for their reasoning for such a high price which includes nothing??!?!?!?! No explanation, just a rude "well that's what it is" and again the infamous "anything else?"
Thankfully we had enough time to book somewhere else, also the place itself is beautiful, I don't need this kind of stress with their staff. So ladies beware, unless you want to bend to their will on your day, I would run far, far away!!!! -

Exactly what the X stands for - Disaster would not recommend! Overall there lack of attention and ineptitude is the reason for this bad review. They deserve the poor reputation!
Horrible, no attention to detail, unorganized, poor presentation. They never gave me and my guests proper direction. The person in charge of my wedding did not follow any of my requests, she was rude to my parents and when I questioned her about details that were not done she gave obnoxious replies. They omitted so many things discussed time and time again and that were part of the contract. I blame top level management and owner for all this nonsense that occurred because employees not doing a good job usually trickles from the top.
They also overbooked an event before mine and didn't give my vendors, especially florist enough time to set up. They all worked on top of one another and the Liberty house created a hectic set up and start to my wedding. Guests walked in and weren't guided properly so they didn't know were to go and crews were still in the middle of set up and break down from previous event.
No attention to detail -they left milk crates visible, tables and object that didn't belong,etc.. poor and sloppy ceremony set up. Not enough chairs for ceremony that half of my guest were standing. Not to mention I have to pay extra for photography editing.
So many things I that I would need to write 5 pages.
Thank goodness the other vendors pulled the wedding together because they were exceptional. The only thing Liberty house has going for them is pretty good food and a beautiful view but this is not worth the money for the nonsense we dealt with. I don't believe the other reviews someone that works for them had to write and give them the 4 stars-not worth a penny! Don't use this place for your wedding!
