Simply incredible!!!
Kim of LaVie Photography is a wonderful person and professional! She photographed both our engagement and our wedding. We loved her energy so much during our engagement shoot, we knew we had to have her at our wedding. We could tell through working with her that she genuinely loves what she does. Her photography is incredible and while we are still waiting on our wedding photos (our wedding was less than a month ago) we had so a overwhelmingly positive response to our engagement pictures from our family, friends and on social media. If you’ve been professionally photographed before, you know it can take a lot out of you, especially on your wedding day (but don’t skip out on it, because you’ll regret not having those pictures later!) However, Kim did a great job of getting through all the shots we wanted in a timely and organized manner. We truly felt like she added so much value to our special day. We can’t wait to see our wedding photos, as we know they’ll be just as amazing as our engagement pictures. Great to work with!
Kim and Adam were great! They were both so excited it was so nice to have them be at our wedding. The photos are great, and the website gallery for our wedding was excellent, it was so much fun to go through the photos and see everything we missed.Kim and Adam were great! Our favorite wedding vendor!
Kim and Adam are simply the best! They were a hit at our wedding, our family loved them because they are so loving and friendly themselves. I enjoy their true to color style, especially in a time when rustic and washed out photos are the trend. We hired them as part of our two day Indian/Jewish ceremony. They captured the multiple cultural elements and colors with such beauty. They also were open to doing creative shots we really wanted to capture, something we discussed in our pre-meeting. I also appreciated their ability to navigate various family situations. I have no doubt our photos will age well and are so lucky to have found them. Please consider La Vie as you think about your big day, you won’t regret it.

I can not stress enough how amazing Kim and Adam were. The showed up earlier than I had hoped for and caught every detail of the day, from little moments with our friends and family to beautiful shots of the wedding itself. It was fantastic to have two people since it allowed Kim to be with the bridesmaids and I when we were getting ready and Adam could be with the groom and his groomsmen while they were getting ready!
I can not stress enough how amazing Kim and Adam were. When my wife and I were planning our wedding we had a variety of local choices in Southern California and Orange County to chose from and spent an enormous amount of time interviewing a variety of photography companies. When we approached LaVie on line to discuss using their services they encouraged us to get together to talk further...sure enough 1 week later they made a personal visit from Seattle to Orange County CA to sit down with us and discuss our plans. After 2.5 hours of going through talking, going through some amazing ideas and reviewing past work of theirs we felt like we found two new friends who happened to be photographers. This is RARE in business...especially in the business of weddings...to feel a connection that you know can only translate in a positive way to the pictures they are going to take on your most important day. We were beyond happy with our decision!!!! Everything we expected from them they delivered on...beyond professional...warm, friendly, talented and real human beings who actual made us feel like we were their only client. If there is a reason to utilize LaVie it is because of the amazing human beings behind the camera...and the amazing photos that were created from their cameras. I loved my photos from La Vie and I loved having this husband wife duo. I didn't love the huge wait time for my photos, they took over 6 months to give me my photos but they are both so talented and charming I forgave them. Otherwise they were incredible!! They are a team you definitely would want there on your wedding day. They love what they do and it really shows. Adam and Kim are nice people but I am very dissappointed in the pictures that they took at my wedding. Missing are a couple of important moments such as, a clear photo of my parents walking me down the aisle and a picture of me in my dress. They took pictures of me in my dress but I have my jacket on in all of them. If it was any other dayI paid for professional photographers to make sure this type of thing didn't happen.
Like most brides I spent a lot of time and money on my hair, makeup and dress and I wish that the photographers captured that. I am so dissapointed that I have not even printed any of the pictures. La Vie is way over priced. I didnt get any getting ready pictures or send off pictures because that would've costed us another couple thousand on top of the $3,800....so expensive!!
Another thing the first sight was almost completley ruined because they never called me when they got to the venue so I didn't know where to meet them on my wedding day and I almost walked into the room where my groom/husband was waiting. This shows lack of professionalism and organization. And it takes them several days to respond to any emails. Which seems like forever when you need an answer asap during the planning process of the wedding. I was in the winter during the slow time too.
Pictures are so important to me that's why I went over budget on them. I had heard good reviews so I thought that it would be worth it. I am writing this review to save other brides from missing out on important photos on their wedding day and also so no one esle breaks their bank for photos that in my opinion are not worth that much.
Several pictures were at bad angles, and several are artistic but you cant even see our faces. Thank goodness I got a videographer so I can at least see my dress and my parents walking me down the aisle on video, but I really really wish I had photos of those moments to frame or at least could get my money back.
