The Perfect Stress-Free Wedding Planner

We can’t imagine our wedding without Samantha from La Bella Dia. She made the whole planning process so easy and enjoyable! Samantha has a ton of experience in the planning and day of coordination of weddings. It was so valuable having her expertise as we planned our wedding. She provided plenty of advice and support throughout the planning process, and made herself available when needed to answer any of our questions. Since she has worked in the Pasadena area for so long, Samantha knew our venue (The Athenaeum) well and worked seamlessly with their staff to make the wedding day come together without a hitch. She coordinated with all of our vendors, provided the perfect timeline for our special day, and was there both with us and behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect. The day of the wedding was stress free because we knew Samantha and her assistant were taking care of everything! We highly recommend La Bella Dia to anyone getting married in the Pasadena area.

Samantha is SO helpful!

My daughter had her wedding in May 2019 at Castle Green in Pasadena and La Bella Dia was a suggested Day of Coordinator. Samantha was fantastic! She was so helpful in creating a great event flow and coordinating all of the vendors to create one cohesive event. It is her fantastic attention to detail that makes everything flow effortlessly for the wedding party and their families. Samantha and her assistant (I apologize for forgetting her name) took care of so many little things on the wedding day that made it flow without any effort or concern from us. They ensured everything was just the way we wanted it and actually improved on some of the original plans! All of the activities (toasts, cake cutting, dances etc.) were kept flowing and on time. If any problems arose, we certainly were not aware of them. Samantha made the wedding day easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to utilize her services again.

The calm, collected, organized mom we needed for our wedding!

Where do I even start. Last year was both the toughest and best year of my life. Our wedding was in November and our family wasn't being very helpful. Luckily my wife had found Samantha to help us through the entire wedding process, and made our day the best!

We had found Samantha through our wedding venue's recommendation, and had contacted her about a year before our date. You don't realize how much help you need making a wedding work till you plan one. Anyways last year was very stressful as I had gone through career changes, moving, and we had to plan our winter wedding without too much help from family. Samantha had given us a timeline and rubric to fill out, and every time we met with her we felt so much better about the day going to plan, as she stays on top of the vendors. I would call her in a panic sometimes and she would always help me deal with issues that came up.

Day of the wedding, there were so many hiccups and issues that came about due to external factors, and Samantha dealt with everything in a calm collected manner.

Honestly she goes above and beyond her duties! My wife and I kept saying how Samantha was our wedding mom, as we couldn't have made the day work so seamlessly without her!

Samantha is the best!

I found Samantha on The Maxwell House’s preferred vendor page. She was very responsive, and we set up a time to meet and discuss the wedding. She was the very first person I hired for our wedding which helped us out so much! She sent me recommendations and communicated with me throughout the planning process even though I only had the “month out” package.

My husband and I were very concerned during our planning process because we were having an interfaith ceremony and our families are very diverse. We wanted to incorporate new and traditional elements in our wedding and we weren’t sure how to execute all of it. I also ended up traveling last minute for business and had to hand the reigns over to my husband the month before our wedding. Samantha was a life saver! She helped us so much and was our moral support throughout. She was like our “wedding mom” and did everything from providing great recommendations, completing last minute errands, managing our vendors/family/bridal party/guests, and offered words of support.

On our wedding day, she and her assistant kept everything moving along. We had a hiccup during our day (totally out of our control!) and she kept us calm and organized the groundskeeper of the property and fire department to come and speedily correct everything. She kept me fed, hydrated, and made sure I always had a glass of wine when I needed it! She closed everything out and did our final walkthrough so we could go and enjoy the afterparty.

I highly recommend Samantha. She’s a veteran in the industry and will help you create the wedding of your dreams. She’s calm, caring, and will take the best care of you. Her professionalism and demeanor kept me going through all the stressful moments. She’s the absolute best!

She was perfect!

Samantha was recommended by our venue and we are SO glad she was. Our day could never have gone as well as it did without her input, support, and hard work. I mean everything went perfectly and I didn't even have to worry about it. You ever meet someone and can just tell they're trustworthy? That was Samantha. We could tell immediately after meeting her that we could trust her to take care of things and get things done. And we were right! She was willing to work with our budget, dealt with our potentially crazy families, and went above and beyond what I even thought her job was (I have trouble letting go lol). Even though we hired her for month of coordination, she was available to answer questions even before that. She took all the decor/items we had gathered for the wedding the day before and made sure they were all set up. She made sure all our vendors showed up at the time and place they were supposed to without me having to talk to them in the week of AT ALL. To be honest, it's possible something did go wrong on our wedding day and she just handled it and didn't have to bother us. She made sure to frequently (but not too frequently) check on us throughout the month and during our wedding day. She made sure we were comfortable with everything. She stayed cool calm and collected that whole time. Honestly, she's the best. Her services are worth every cent.

Samantha Sisk was one of our favorite vendors. She is calm, steady, and supportive. Picking her was one of the first decisions we made as we started the process and we are so incredibly grateful for her help throughout the year. She was always available and very responsive to email. She gave numerous helpful tips along the way. She is very experienced and in particular at the Athenaeum and Castle Green in Pasadena. During the rehearsal and wedding day, she was always there for us and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Do not hesitate to book Samantha Sisk for your wedding!

Samantha helped coordinate our wedding and she was fantastic. She spoke with us over the phone and met with us in person to ensure everyone was on the same page with all items. Samantha was an amazing find. I felt incredibly lucky to work with her for my wedding. I interviewed 3 coordinators in total, but Samantha immediately stood out as the right choice for the job. Her calm demeanor and professionalism was clear from the start. She was very responsive and helped me secure a few last minute things, like needing lights because it turned out our DJ didn't have any, without a hitch. Samantha was great at keeping everything running on time and helping to wrangle the family and other guests to where they needed to be when they needed to be there. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Simply put, Samantha, Brooke, and their team were magnificent. My sister was married 4 years ago and her coordinator was awful, so my husband and I were very particular. We interviewed way too many coordinators - 5 in total. Samantha's cool, calm, and collected attitude was apparent from the moment we met and Brooke is totally unflappable. The timeline they developed was so thorough and left absolutely no questions from any vendors. Naturally, on our wedding day several things didn't go as planned - they responded immediately and effectively. No detail was too small or request unachievable.

My husband and I planned our wedding from Shanghai where we currently live and hiring Samantha was the best decision we made! From my first meeting with Samantha, I was immediately at ease and knew that I could 100% trust her to make our wedding exactly what we wanted. One of the best parts about working with Samantha was that she knew how to work with a bride - this meant having ALL the answers and also knowing when to not let me get carried away. Samantha had such wonderful suggestions and her connections with all of our vendors really made everything easier and especially more personal. After working so closely with Samantha, it was very special to have her at our wedding because she felt like family.

I was drawn to Samantha after reading her website where she describes growing up in a house where her mom was the queen of dinner parties. I immediately connected with her because I grew up the same way and I knew Samantha would know how to make a big event an intimate family affair at the same time.

I would absolutely recommend Samantha to any bride. She is fantastic and truly lovely. She knows weddings and will give her opinion when you need it - and you can trust her opinion which is incredibly reassuring. I was very lucky to have worked with Samantha and still laugh over some of our meetings and conversations. Thank you for everything, SS!

We used Samantha for the day-of coordination at our reception venue and it was a great decision. She was organized, responsive, and easy to work with. She had wonderful recommendations for additional vendors we still needed a few months before the wedding (DJ). Since she was familiar with our venue, she offered great ideas for our reception that we had not thought of. She was very helpful in keeping everything on schedule during the reception. She directed the various vendors as needed, and they even commented on how pleasant she was to work with! Samantha also organized all of our belongings and decorations at the end of the night which made our departure hassle and worry-free.

Hiring Samantha was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we signed the contract we felt a sigh of relief. Her recommendations, advice, and guidance made our entire wedding planning experience amazing!

Samantha was the same day coordinator for our wedding (a gay marriage) at the Castle Green. I can't imagine how we would have made it without her. Samantha was professional, warm, and calm from our very first meeting. She quickly grasped the character my husband and I wanted for our wedding and we soon could say, 'Whatever you think', trusting in Samantha's judgement. She was on it from the start and maintained a great rapport with the vendors and the venue (note: Samantha has an intimate knowledge of the Castle Green that is really helpful if you hold your event there). She also went above and beyond and did our rehearsal with us off site where we held our rehearsal dinner. On the day of the event, I imagine she must have been running about everywhere, but was serene every time she dealt with us; she also managed our large families with grace. By the end Samantha was as much friend and family as our coordinator. Her daughter also was a great babysitter for the kids in our family, which could come in handy if you are at the Castle Green.

I cannot thank Samantha enough for the fabulous job she did coordinating everything for my daughter's 1-4-14 wedding. Samantha's outstanding work in coordinating all the vendors and running the rehearsal helped make both the wedding day and entire wedding evening perfect. Samantha was one of the best parts of planning my wedding (except of course that I get to marry my best friend)! From the moment we met her, we knew that her style fit ours exactly: organized, punctual, positive and flexible. We communicated mostly via email, which worked great with my hectic schedule and everything turned out even better than I could have dreamed. Samantha helped me develop and then stick to our budget and made my wedding the best many of our guests have been to. I highly recommend her for day-of coordination, even if you don't need help with the planning. It was such a relief to know that Samantha oversaw the details of decor, table settings, cake table, and those unexpected guests getting a seat without ever knowing there was some behind-the-scenes stress. When our wedding night came to an end one of the first things I said was "I am going to miss Samantha!"

Samantha was one of the main reasons why our wedding turned out PERFECT! We made the perfect decision to have her as our coordinator for the big day. Not only was she always on time, responsive to all emails/calls and super helpful, but she is such a genuine, nice and caring person who always made sure we were taken care of and not stressed out. My wife and I asked our caterer (Simply Elegant) if they had any recommendations for day-of wedding planners, and they immediately responded, "Samantha Sisk. She's the best. She's not like any other wedding planner; she's so calm and composed." And she is. I'm typically very hands on and detail oriented, and I don't often feel comfortable letting others take over. But with Samantha it was easy. She was incredibly organized and took care of every single detail. After a single meeting with her, I felt like she was in our heads and knew exactly what we wanted. She learned all of our family members' names and went out of her way to make recommendations when she saw something she thought we would like. And more importantly than anything, she kept a cool head about everything. (Our caterer described her accurately: "The venue could catch fire in the middle of the ceremony, and Samantha would calmly say without missing a beat, 'Okay, well, let's see what we can do about this.'") For example, on the day of our rehearsal, my then-fiancee was held up at an appointment and showed up an hour late. I was very anxious, upset, and worried we wouldn't be able to rehearse in the time we were given. But Samantha was the only one who was able to calm me down and make me feel better about it. Plus, she got everyone together, took control, and plowed through the rehearsal with us so that we could make it to the rehearsal dinner on time. In short, Samantha was an indispensable asset to our wedding. I don't know what we would have done without her. I recommend her wholeheartedly!

We hired Samantha at La Bella Dia for our day of coordination, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to do this. I’m a very organized and detail-oriented person but I really wanted to hand over my wedding plans to a professional on the day so that I could enjoy my own wedding to the fullest.

Samantha did an amazing job of helping us execute our vision of the perfect day. She was timely and responsive and full of additional tips and ideas for us. She has the calmest demeanor, which is so suited for this type of work; nothing seems to fluster her, which is great to have someone assure you everything is going to be great. The day of you don’t really see her, but she has her eye on everything going on, most importantly ensuring the bride and groom are taken care of. She checked in with us multiple times to ensure we had drinks/food etc. She was a great assistant to have as we walked table to table to greet guests in a timely manner. We had coordinated a grand exit that required our caterer to pick up In N Out burgers and she really assisted with the coordination of getting the burgers to the venue right on time and allowed for us to have a super fun grand exit with a special treat for our guests.

Bottom line, even if you have everything buttoned up, having someone professional that you can trust who you know will handle any last minute items that come up is a must! Samantha has so much experience in this industry and her hard work was not only noticed and appreciated by us (bride and groom) but also by a number of our bridal party and our parents. I would highly recommend Samantha at La Bella Dia if you require assistance on your big day—and you will! You spent so much time and effort planning your special day, let loose and enjoy your day while trusting you’re in the hands of a professional! Thank you Samantha for helping make our day just perfect!

Samantha made the day a perfect wedding day. She took care of all the details of making sure Castle Green was set up for the reception. She met with us well in advance, did a walk through prior to the wedding day to make sure she understood what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she organized all the vendors, had them on schedule, Castle Green looked beautiful as she decorated it as we wanted. As the mother of the bride, this was the best thing to do- because Samantha took care of all the details so I didn't have to worry about anything but the bride.
She is very professional, oriented to details and very calm. I would definitely use her services again!

Samantha was recommended to us by our venue. She was the most reasonably priced option and the venue coordinator was very enthusiastic about her work. We are so glad that we used her for our wedding.

Along with ensuring that all of the vendors knew when and where to show up and putting together our timeline for the day, Samantha went did much more, all with a sense of professionalism, calmness and care. We asked her to move some bottles of champagne to the suite where we were spending the wedding night. When we got there, not only was the champagne there, there were candles lit all around the suite and the bed was decorated in rose petals. There were also two slices of extra wedding cake to enjoy This is just one example of the above-and-beyond type service that Samantha gave all night. We never had to stress about any of the little details and it made the day so much more wonderful.

Samantha is extremely patient, organized, and in tune with your needs on your big day. She provides different levels of coordination at reasonable prices, be sure to check out her website. Mom was initially skeptical that we needed a day-of coordinator, but by the time the big day rolled around she was completely sold on Samantha and was thankful we signed on with her. Samantha was by far the best vendor we hired for our wedding.
