Best day ever

Lauren is the best. From the very beginning, her organized preferred vendor list with links and explanations helped me to pick out and get all my first choice vendors. She is so knowledgeable with all her experience and had so many useful and great recommendations. When we reached the 2 month out mark, she jumped in and it was such a huge relief. There were lots of little things on my invoices that were incorrect or missing that I didn’t see. She communicates to the vendors and you don’t have to worry about anything.

One of the best things is her down to the minute organized, constantly updated timeline and set up list. She even makes separate ones for the emcees and wedding party and communicates with them. We had lots of last minute guest drop outs/additions and she was so great at helping us keep an organized guest list by name and by table. (I am horrible with excel and making those things). She was always so on top of it with everything. She always made us feel at ease by checking in, keeping us on track, and quickly answering tons of emails and helping with all of our questions and concerns along the way.

The entire wedding day was an amazing whirlwind. But it went so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything except enjoying every minute. Definitely the best day of our lives and without Lauren and her amazing team it wouldn’t have been the same. Then she has her “name changing packet” for after which has been the biggest lifesaver.

Also what makes Lauren so great is that she treats you like family and really cares about each couple (not just doing a job with clients). She’s worth every penny to make your wedding day flawless, stress free and bring your visions beautifully to life!

Simply the BEST!

Lauren was the key player in our wedding. Without her, we wouldn't have had the perfect wedding. Her knowledge and connections she has with many of the vendors made the planning process and coordination smooth. As someone who is extremely anxious, I appreciate Lauren's promptness at responding to emails. Most of the time, she would respond back the same day I send out an email! The relief and reassurance she provided me that we were on the right track to getting things done really calmed my nerves down, and I am forever grateful for her for that.

Lauren also provided a very thorough timeline for the wedding day, which we went over multiple times to ensure that nothing was missed and everything/everyone was accounted for. Since our wedding was at two locations (one location for the ceremony and another location for the reception), a strict timeline was necessary. On the day of, she took care of EVERYTHING. I had no worries in the world, which NEVER happens. This was all thanks to her and her team. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you again for being a part of our special day!

You need Lauren and her team!

We want to share with the whole world how amazing Lauren and her team are. There are so many things you need out of an excellent wedding planner, and she pretty much checks all the boxes.

Lauren cares. We had the unfortunate situation of trying to get married in April 2020. While we did get legally married on our planned day, we did not have the reception we were planning for the few months prior. We selected the two month plan and really Lauren was still doing a lot of work for us before. She was totally in the driver’s seat prior to April and before we really knew how much of an impact the pandemic had on our special day, was gunning towards holding it. Once we realized that this was much more than staying at home for a few weeks, she took the steering wheel and helped us reschedule, and reschedule, and reschedule. Each time she rescheduled our reception, she did all the legwork to confirm our vendors. We really don’t think she needed to, but because she cares so much about us who are pretty much going through this somewhat traumatic time. All we wanted to do was celebrate this with our closest family and friends, but with variants, stay at home orders, and vaccine mandates, we really weren’t sure if this was ever going to happen.

Lauren is pushy, but in the BEST way. She is so on her game and she really worked so well with us and we’re sure all other couples. She made sure we kept to our deadlines (relatively…we struggled a little to meet them, but she let us know which ones were a must and which she could give us a day or two more on). But it makes a huge difference because with all those deadlines we needed to meet, she was working in the background putting all the timelines together and handing off information to our vendors.

Lauren is precise. When our day finally came, we did not have to worry about much. She literally took care of EVERYTHING. Some of our wedding party were even making fun of her, but in a good way. A lot of us work in jobs that manage projects and timelines, but we were all shocked and amazed by the level of detail she puts in her timeline, and how hard she’ll work to carry it through.

We know some of the hurdles we went through won’t apply to most reading this (the COVID rescheduling mostly), but we thought it was critical to include it in our review because it really shows you Lauren will make sure your event is perfect. You know, she doesn’t have a crystal ball, or had a manual on how to handle weddings in a worldwide pandemic, however, with her organization, precision, and her passion for her work, she dedicated herself to making sure our wedding was something we’ll always remember.

Lastly, we’ve been to our share of weddings (in all honesty, we’re some of the last of our own friends to get married, so we’ve been to A LOT), and never have we taken the time to say, “Wow, this planner got her/his/ s*** TOGETHER!” but we had a ton of people who made similar comments to us, saying that this was the smoothest wedding they’ve ever attended. I think at best we’ve been to weddings where we’ve never noticed any hiccups, and at worst, helping our friends with the timeline that day. So for people to even notice the organization, that’s truly awesome.

The price of a planner is not cheap, but we do feel like anyone getting married should budget for one. And even better, if Lauren is available, BOOK HER NOW! You will not regret it.

Wedding of my dreams!!!

Working with Lauren and the L-4-Love team was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. Lauren is an absolute delight and an amazing person. She made the whole planning process smooth and easy. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Lauren made it so easy for us to get everything rebooked. Our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. Lauren understood our vision and really brought it to life. The day went SO smoothly because I know Lauren was behind the scenes taking care of things. She thought of every little detail so my husband and I could just enjoy the day. I could not recommend Lauren more!!!

The BEST in the business!!!

Let me start by saying that hiring Lauren was probably the best wedding related decision I made (aside from marrying my hubby of course 😜). From the get go, Lauren was always prompt in replying to my emails. I’m sure any bride can attest to how stressful it is having vendors who take forever to reply to emails. Not Lauren! She sometimes even replies in minutes! Not only was she quick, but no matter how many questions I had, she never failed to address every single concern. It doesn’t stop here. Not only is she prompt and thorough, but she was also SO sweet and kind!
Having a global pandemic strike smack dab in the middle of wedding planning was a challenge to say the least, but Lauren handled everything as if she had planned weddings during pandemics in her past life. From changing our date twice, to reaching out to our vendors to reschedule, to helping us find the most epic ceremony venue, to standing up for us when we were having unexpected fees on an invoice, we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. We always felt that she truly had our best interest in mind, and stayed positive and realistic at the same time, despite the challenges. EVERY couple needs someone like Lauren and her team on their wedding day. Looking back, I felt absolutely zero stress on our wedding day, and to me, that’s priceless!! ✨

Instrumental towards us having the most amazing day!

Lauren at L-4-Love was recommended to us by 2 coworkers and one of my now-husband's best friends, who all gave rave reviews. When we first contacted her, she immediately impressed us with her initiative by coordinating a couple of great quotes with a top-notch photographer and videographer. She continued to impress us by helping us save lots of money with her ideas on how to negotiate certain things with the hotel and getting us good deals with other vendors. We were planning a destination wedding on Lana'i, which is an island so small that almost all vendors need to be flown in, making logistics more challenging, however, she helped us navigate all the intricacies along the way. She was very flexible and helpful when we had to reschedule our wedding to a year later due to COVID. Throughout, we communicated a lot and she made sure we had all the little and big details were in place. I appreciate that she was always so helpful to me even when I might have been freaking out and getting type-A. I also appreciated that she would give her honest opinion (even if it might have been bad news or contrary to what I thought I wanted) and it would end up working out; in addition, it was great that she did a site visit on her own with the hotel (flew to the neighbor island), which she didn't have to do. Our guests had an AMAZING time and thought the wedding was beautiful, and we had a WONDERFUL time on the wedding day, full with great memories and everything went smoothly; the vendors she had recommended all executed perfectly too. The day-of coordination with her and her assistant was very smooth as well; one detail that was very nice was that they coordinated moving all our things from the reception back our rooms; we didn't have to worry about that. Plus, Lauren and Mona had really calming and positive energies on the wedding day that helped make it a nice experience. I definitely recommend using L-4-Love and am glad that we worked with Lauren!!

Absolute best there is!

Lauren, is the absolute best wedding planner out there! What a blessing it was to have worked with her. From day one she was very responsive, detail oriented, and organized. She helped us navigate through all of the challenges with COVID restrictions. This included having to replan numerous aspects of our wedding along the way due to restrictions. She was integral with communicating with our venue and all of our vendors. She planned the most perfect and stress free day for us and we were able to kick back and enjoy our wedding day. We can’t thank her enough for the phenomenal job she did. Lauren is very down to earth, kind, humble, and joy to work with. She is also a very creative thinker and will listen to your needs while coming up with creative solutions. Best of all, Lauren has a preferred vendors list with her recommendations and past experiences of other vendors. This will definitely save time and help you select the vendors that suite your needs the best.

Hawaii's Best Wedding Planner

When my wife and I were looking for wedding planners/coordinators for our destination wedding in Hawaii, we quickly decided on using Lauren and her team. Having had some friends use her services in the past and reading through a number of reviews, it was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. First, she has a number of different packages to fit any couple's desired level of involvement and is even willing to make a custom package tailored to your needs. After selecting the package, she was extremely helpful putting together our vision with her extensive network of vendors (along with L4Love exclusive discounts!) and her experience planning so many weddings. Since we were in LA, having her help to coordinate with vendors especially in the last month leading up to the wedding was super helpful. On the day of our wedding, she had an extremely detailed timeline that was perfectly planned so everything went at or ahead of schedule. Overall, we assumed that weddings would be stressful, but surprisingly working with Lauren and her team made everything stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better day, so thank you to Lauren and her team for helping our dream wedding come true!

The best wedding planner!

From two postponements due to COVID to pulling off our dream wedding, we really could not have done it without Lauren and her team!!! Lauren is the most organized, thoughtful, caring, and detailed wedding planner. On the day of the wedding, her and her team were very professional and always catered to our needs. Best decision ever made!

We were one of the poor souls who had a 2020 wedding that had to be postponed 3 times. That means poor Lauren had to shift gears and basically plan 3 different weddings for us, with A LOT of uncertainty along the way. But we are SO glad we had Lauren on our team the entire way. To know what kind of planner you are looking for, you need to know what kind of bride you are first. For me, I tell myself I'm low-key and chill, have low expectations, but I'm a closet control freak and type A project planner. So I always thought that I had things under control. But no no friends, Lauren will show you the way to wedding planning. Let me break it down:

COMMUNICATION: Best of the best. She is very timely and sometimes ridiculously fast at responding to e-mails. Most importantly, one of the only people who actually answers ALL of my questions within an e-mail, like, line by line. I love that! Our scheduled calls are very efficient and productive. She sends you homework to work on between the meetings so you know what to prepare for. I also really appreciated her taking over communication and coordination with the various vendors as we got closer to the date. It gets to be very frustrating and hard to keep track of various vendors/contracts/dates etc as you get closer to wedding date, and when various things are needed. But she will help to communicate with vendors for you (especially since she has a good relationship with a lot of vendors on island to start with) and can help to negotiate any snags that happen along the way. Win!

ORGANIZATION: Again, extremely organized. She uses Excel sheets (which I also love) and has things sent to you in chunks according to her timeline of planning (I think this may also depend on what package you select with her. I got the 2-months out planner package). She really is "all about the details" of planning. She will go through any "what if" scenarios with you as you get closer to the date, and try to help you brainstorm alternatives or ideas if you need to. She also has her own collection of rentals to borrow from if you need for those small items like frames, votives, candles, etc, so you don't have to worry about those small things from a rental company.

PROFESSIONALISM: All-star. Lauren and her team are very kind and warm people, but never slacked on the professionalism from day 1.

WOW FACTOR: Planning a wedding is inevitably a stressful and very anxiety-ridden process, leading up to this one huge day where everything is supposed to come to life and unfold before your eyes. As a bride, it is hard not to think about and wonder if things will be okay on wedding day, and notice if things maybe aren't exactly what they are supposed to be. But I'll say that on my wedding day, I was completely stress free. I handed everything off to Lauren and her team the days prior to our wedding, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in charge. Our wedding day was absolutely flawless (even though a few hiccups did happen on wedding day, but Lauren hid them from me SO WELL)! I can't say enough about her. She is AMAZING at what she does, and does it all with the kindest and most humble heart.

If only I could hire her to coordinate my life....

Fantastic and super knowledgable!

Lauren was the absolute best wedding planner. Not only did she help us navigate COVID/rescheduling all of our venues/vendors, but she was also instrumental in ensuring open lines of communication between everybody. Since I was remotely planning our wedding, she went the extra mile ensuring she reached out to vendors and ensured to keep us updated about all changes/concerns. Beach wedding of our dreams, thanks to Lauren!

Lauren did an AMAZING job with our wedding and worked tirelessly despite the many wrenches that were thrown in our path in 2020! She sounded the alarm when our original venue was not looking reliable for a May 2021 wedding and was easily accessible by email for any and all of our questions. You can't go wrong with L-4-Love!

IF YOU CAN BOOK L-4-LOVE, DO IT NOW!

I was in the midst of researching and planning for my destination wedding last year (September 2019), when Lauren and her dream team were recommended to me by my wedding venue. At this point, I had already contacted a few other coordinators and thought reaching out to one more wouldn't hurt. AND I'M SO HAPPY I DID!

The moment Lauren and I spoke on the phone, it was like talking to a friend. Easy communication and we saw eye to eye on the whole planning process. To be honest, Lauren made the planning process enjoyable! She didn't have to, but she was sweet and patient enough to answer all my concerns/questions when I needed help. I feel very lucky that I was able to book the "2 Months Out" package with Lauren and her team, and it was one of the best decisions I made. Lauren was always on top of responding to my emails and updating her spreadsheets for our phone meetings. She provided honest and helpful insights for wedding decor, vendors, and budgeting if needed. One of the most helpful things that Lauren offered was that she took over as the main contact with my other vendors once the 2 - month mark hit. This way, I didn’t have to worry about the last-minute details and was able to focus on other things for the wedding.

Lauren and her team also made my wedding day a breeze – they took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I would highly recommend L-4-Love to friends and family for future events!! :)

Best Money I Spent At On My Wedding

I'm extremely delayed in writing this, but wanted to make sure that I did because Lauren and the L4Love team were beyond amazing for our wedding. She's responsive, professional and so organized. I'm already organized person and I love a good spreadsheet, but she definitely brought fresh eyes and perspective from her vast experience to help us really make the whole process so manageable and bring up things we hadn't even considered. I have to say, having her take over all the vendor confirmations leading up to the wedding was a huge stress reducer. Moreover, on the day of our wedding we could really just enjoy ourselves and our guests as Lauren helped execute everything we hoped and dreamed. Best day of our lives.

I can easily say that hiring Lauren and the L-4-Love team as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions that I have made for our wedding. From the moment I contacted her for questions regarding her packages and our planned date over a year and a half in advance and the way she responded and how prompt she was, I already knew that I was going to be in great hands. My husband and I knew we needed a coordinator since we don't live in Hawaii. I found L-4-Love and the amazing reviews through Wedding Wire and Yelp and I can now speak for myself that all of her great reviews are one hundred percent accurate. I chose the two month out package and even then, Lauren was still always available to guide me and check up on me months before the two month mark came! Her prices are very reasonable and she is so organized and thorough. On the day of our wedding, I met her team and they were equally kind and professional. Everything was on schedule and went as planned without me having to think of anything. Lauren covers literally every detail and things that I never would have thought of if I planned a wedding on my own. What's crazy is looking back, I can honestly say that I wasn't even asked one real question that day.. besides if I wanted more champagne, more food on my plate, and if I was okay. Lauren helped me to have the wedding we've always envisioned and is the reason for us having the most perfect day. It was the absolute best day of our lives and one I'll never forget thanks to L-4-Love.

Highly recommended wedding planner.

When I first engaged to my husband, I thought I was capable to plan the wedding party by myself. However, the more research and study I did, the more stress I am putting on myself. Having a perfect wedding day, there’s so much detail! What I mean detail is you should have plan A and plan B. However, being the bride of the day, you are super busy already. You have millions of things to do like finish your makeup, hairstyle, nails, taking endless pictures with guests etc. You will have no time at all to handle everything by yourself!
I am so glad to have Lauren and her team helping us for our wedding day. Their team step in the last 2 months of our wedding. They have awesome vendors lists where there’s note for each vendor from the past experience. It helps a lot for deciding which vendors to go with.
Also, when it comes to setting up the timeline for the wedding flow, there’s more detail than I can imagine. Lauren did a great job on marking down detail and having a plan B ready. She will ask you questions that may appear on the wedding day in the consultation sessions and make note what you want them to do if it happens. Its so helpful and grateful that they prepared for it and make your wedding day stress free and smooth.
Besides, on the actual wedding day, there’s always some issue appear, and you need someone to solved the problem immediately. For example, when the pipe and drape was set up, Lauren noticed that it was very sheer. As at the invoice, it is a sheer draping, but it did not look good. Luckily, Lauren decided to make a call to the rental company to see if they able to come back and change it. Since Lauren have a good relationship with the owner, he was nice enough to send a few of his crew back and they swapped it out for the thicker fabric which is what we used. He decided not to charge us for it, even though they did check back on old communications and it is what was ordered. Thanks to Lauren, the room looked very beautiful and elegant!
I know it is costly to have a wedding planner. But they did more you can imagen in your wedding day, so I highly recommended Lauren if you need one!

We hired Lauren Smith to coordinate our wedding and we're so glad we chose her! She is truly an amazing planner and so sweet to work with! She was very organized throughout the entire process and quick to respond to our many emails. Not once did we feel stressed out because we knew we were in good hands. We are extremely grateful to Lauren & the L-4-Love team! Lauren was always there to help us whenever we had a question and needed some guidance. She was always quick to respond and very, very organized. Our wedding was the weekend of a “possible” hurricane and Lauren made sure to communicate to us along with all of our vendors. If I could give one word of advice to brides-to-be, it is hire a wedding coordinator. If you want an excellent coordinator, then Lauren and her team is the way to go. I chose her two month out and a little extra love package. Lauren is super sweet and on many occasions eased my bridezilla anxiety. Lauren helped to bridge the gap and coordinate all of my vendors. My wedding guests stated that our wedding was one of the best because of the flow. The flow from the wedding ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception was impeccable. The flow was so good that we were more than half an hour ahead of schedule and my husband and I actually got to enjoy dinner! Lauren is the absolute best! My husband and I began working with her a year before our wedding. We hired her for the “Two Months Out + A Little Extra” package. We chose to contact her because we had heard many great things from other friends who had previously worked with her. Right away, I found that she was very down to earth and organized. She provided us with detailed information about different vendors, a spreadsheet of everything we needed to consider, and spoke with us in detail regarding a timeline of when we needed to accomplish different tasks and book different vendors. She provided great insight regarding wedding vendors in Hawaii and how planning a wedding in Hawaii might differ from planning one elsewhere. Lauren’s spreadsheets also brought many details to my attention that I would not otherwise have thought of on my own until much closer to our wedding date. This greatly helped me to think ahead and see both the larger and smaller picture of our day.

Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, we met with Lauren several times and emailed her countless times. Whether our concerns were large or small, she always replied very promptly. Her replies were always supported by her experiences in working with many people in the industry as well as her experiences in coordinating countless different types of weddings. She helped me to think through the pros and cons of many different options.

Lauren conducted our rehearsal and served as the contact person for all of our vendors as our wedding day approached. She also coordinated the setup of the venue the day of and kept us on track. I did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day except getting ready and relaxing before the ceremony. She created and emailed a schedule to all parties involved so ensure that everyone was on time. She also made sure to keep us and all the vendors on schedule throughout the reception so that all that we planned for could be realized.

We hired Lauren at L-4-Love about 6 months out for the month-of-coordination. She was very friendly, sweet, organized, and put us at ease while planning our wedding. She met us at times and locations that were convenient for us. I never had to stress out or worry about Lauren not returning calls or emails which was so appreciated! Her prices are very reasonable and she does her best to work with the couple to remain within their budget as much as possible. Lauren had great ideas and was able to bring our vision to life the day of the wedding. I did not feel an ounce of stress on our special day and the wedding day was pretty darn perfect. Her team was great and they definitely made our ceremony and reception space beautiful with their attention to detail and creative touches. I would absolutely recommend L-4-Love to any couple who even has an incling to hire a wedding coordinator. Yes, it’s a cost to add on to the budget, but so well worth it for peace of mind and less stress. Thank you so much Lauren and team... couldn’t have done it so easily and beautifully without you!

Lauren and her L4Love team are the BEST out there!!!

Once we set our wedding date I contacted L4Love right away since I knew they are always in high demand and we were so lucky they were available ☺ We booked Lauren for the “2 month out” planning yet it was like she guided us and put us on the right track from the very beginning providing us with all the to-dos and awesome recommended vendors.

Lauren is everything you want your wedding planner to be! She is so sweet, friendly, approachable, personable, very organized, detail oriented, prompt, responsive, knowledgeable and flexible—which makes working with her easy breezy and gives you the assurance that you are in GOOD HANDS!

From the 2 months mark, Lauren was the main point of contact for our vendors and made sure all the fine details were smoothed out and the set up was exactly what we had envisioned for our big day. Her timelines are amazing and gives you and your wedding party a feel for how the day will pan out since it’s a very long day yet everything goes by in a flash!

The most common reminder/tip I received from people prior to the wedding was don’t expect everything to go perfectly on the day of your wedding but just enjoy the moment! If something is not how you imagined it to look or be, don’t fret because only you will know. So I had that in mind ☺…However, the day/night of our wedding was so incredibly and perfectly smooth!!!!! We felt relaxed and had so much fun with family and friends—I didn’t want it to end! All in all, we couldn’t have done any of this without the guidance and hard work of LAUREN (and her team). She is truly amazing at what she does!!!

We hired Lauren for the one-month coordinator package, and the L-4-Love team did not disappoint! From start to finish, her team was phenomenal. I first contacted Lauren about 1.5 years before our wedding day, and she was incredibly flexible and responsive to my inquiries and scheduling our initial conversation. We planned our Hawai'i wedding from the mainland, and so most of our communication leading up to the wedding was over email (we able to use her creative consultation a la carte service in addition to the one-month package), and her high level of responsiveness and professionalism sustained itself over the months before the big day.

When we were able to sit down with Lauren in person during the week before the wedding, Lauren was super thorough in making sure both my husband and I had everything covered and were aligned on the details and flow of the day. She covered every detail we could (and couldn't) think of, and on top of this was super friendly and laid back. On the day of, her and her team took care of everything so seamlessly and my husband and I were able to relax (and eat!) and enjoy the day.

I owe our perfect wedding day to Lauren and her L-4-Love team! Lauren’s attention to detail, responsiveness, quick thinking, professionalism, and seasoned wedding industry experience made executing our wedding day a stress-free journey.

We hired Lauren for two month out coordination but even before the two months, Lauren was available for quick questions, ideas, and advice. As we got closer to the big day, Lauren quickly jumped right in and took over where I left off. She was very thorough in working with our vendors, especially our venue, to make sure every detail was not overlooked. I know some brides have a hard time entrusting someone else with their wedding vision – I admit I was like this in the beginning lol – but I quickly saw that we were in the best hands with Lauren. I could tell that she wanted to honor whatever was important to us and would do all that she could to make it happen. She worked with me to complete every necessary task ahead of time, which allowed us to enjoy the few days leading up to the wedding and most importantly, the day of the wedding.

On the day of, Lauren and her team were all business. They kept everything on schedule, kept us updated as to how we were doing with timing, and really took care of everything so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. That really allowed us to spend time with our guests and EAT! I had two of my girlfriends help with the check-in table and they told me that Lauren’s team even took care of them, offering to bring them appetizers and drinks while they were at the check-in table. I thought that was so thoughtful and really exemplifies the L-4-Love team’s attention to detail.

If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, do it. It’s so worth it and will save you so much stress and worry. And if you can, don’t think twice about going with the best! Lauren was my perfect planning partner, and she’ll be yours too.

I must start by saying Lauren and her team are the best the Hawaii wedding industry has to offer. If you're even remotely interested in using her team I will make your decision easy, book her!! My wife Jenn and I decided to shoot for the stars and have a 650 person wedding at the Iolani Palace in April. We knew right away that if we were going to make this happen we would need Lauren and the rest of the team at L 4 Love.

As you can imagine, planning a wedding of this magnitude is no easy task. Dealing with logistics related to set-up, decor, catering, venue, etc., I can go on forever as to what we were up against. Lauren broke everything down in a way that was easy for us to comprehend. She created a method to the madness and we were able to look at our wedding in an organized matter. I know this seems pretty straight forward but what she was able to do overall was take our entire wedding experience and turn it in to a lasting POSITIVE memory.

When it comes to your big day, you're not just a number to Lauren and the team. She takes personal accountability for your event and handles anything that comes her way. She's the one you want fighting in your corner and her knowledge and expertise has made her a true expert in trouble shooting and solving problems on the fly.

Our timeline was executed perfectly, everything about our special day was perfect and it's all thanks to Lauren and the rest of her team. Don't take one of the happiest days of your life and leave it up to chance. They say the hardest part about planning a wedding is deciding who to marry. I'm not sure if this is entirely true, but I can say that in working with Lauren there was no doubt in my mind that my special day would be anything short of spectacular.

I've been working in the wedding industry for quite some time now. I've been to over 2,000 weddings in my life and have worked with dozens of wedding planners. There is no one I trust more than Lauren at L 4 Love.

Lauren is an amazing wedding planner! We had an amazing wedding, and could not have done it without her. We first contacted Lauren about 11 months before our wedding date (we already had a date and venue booked) and went with her Two Month Package. However, she was always super helpful and responsive to any questions we had before she completely took over at the two month mark. We were able to pick some amazing vendors thanks to her recommendations and experience. Once we got closer to the day, she took over in communicating and coordinating with all the vendors we had hired. She is extremely detail oriented and thought of so many things we wouldn't even have thought of without her help. On the day of our wedding, she helped us keep everything running smoothly and dealt with last minute hitches like inclement weather and key guests arriving late because of traffic. We and our guests were able to enjoy the moment and not worry about the details all thanks to Lauren and her amazing team. We could not have been more pleased. Highly recommend!

Lauren is an amazing wedding planner! Highly recommend!! We had 3 months to plan for a wedding guest count of 180 people! Our wedding was packed with an eventful itinerary! A dear friend told me, "If I could change one thing about my wedding, I would've hired a wedding planner". After that word of advice, I knew I had to get a wedding planner. After doing my research, I decided to go with L-4 Love and I'm so glad I did!

I chose the one month coordination service. I was expecting to hear from Lauren in February since my wedding was in March, but Lauren checked up on me in December to see how I was doing. We even met before the holidays to get started on the timeline. I was so impressed by how on top she was of things. She is so friendly and personable, easy to work with, super organized, detail oriented and very patient. My then fiancé and I left the meeting feeling extremely happy and confident about Lauren's service and expertise. We knew we were in good hands.

Creating a timeline is hard stuff and there is no way I could've done it on my own. So ladies, you may think you're saving money by not hiring a wedding coordinator, but trust me, you are doing yourself the favor by spending money on one! I can truly say that I had a blast and it was the most perfect wedding! I had no one coming up to me asking questions, I was able to enjoy my dinner and have a great night with my hubby and guests. If there were any hiccups during the wedding, I didn't know about it. Lauren and her team is so amazing! I can go on and on about how great she is, but I'm already writing a novel with this review. After reading through all of the wedding advice from former brides on various websites, the general consensus was that a wedding coordinator is invaluable. I chose Lauren and her team at L-4-Love and couldn’t agree more!

I went with the month of coordination as we currently live in California but planned a wedding in Hawaii. Here are some of the things that really stood out for me:

- Lauren takes the time to ask you questions about your priorities (photography and cake for us!) and tailors the budget breakdown accordingly. She also has a great list of vendor recommendations that include personal notes and experiences for each.

- I can be a procrastinator at times and it was super helpful having those gentle email reminders keeping me on track while I juggled work, life, and everything else that comes with being engaged.

- After picking our vendors Lauren handled everything else! This included all of the communication, tracking down invoices, revising orders, and even finding a last minute linen vendor for us.

- L-4-Love has their own inventory of things to rent! This is great when you’re on a budget and very convenient. I rented white chiffon for an archway and they even handled the draping!

Our big day was a huge blur for me, but I can say that is was completely stress free and if anything major did go wrong – I had (and still have) no idea! I’m so grateful for Lauren and the L-4-Love team! We had so much fun!

I was hesitant on whether I needed a wedding coordinator or not. I will say it was money well spent!

I went with the one-month out package as I knew the general idea of what I wanted but needed help making sure everything all the I's were dotted and T's crossed. Although I had purchased only the one-month out package, I feel Lauren was there whenever I needed her before that month she took over. She helped with answering questions, vendor selection, and made sure I was on track with getting everything booked and ordered. It was such a relief when I could hand everything over to her and let her make all the final arrangements with vendors and the wedding party on the timeline. On the day of the event she and her team executed everything flawlessly! Most of all, she was there making sure we were taken care of and knew what to do next. I can say that my husband and I are completely happy with the service we received. Because, while everyone talks about the stress of the wedding the day, I can say confidently we did not think twice about letting Lauren and the rest of the L4 Love team take the reigns for our special day.

In addition to the service, it took a lot off my plate by having access to L4 Love's rentals such as table runners, candles, program holders etc.

Lauren Smith is amazing! The best part, is that she does everything with a SMILE :) on her face, which helps especially if you're the type to get stressed out easily! She was very respectful, timely, organized, and accommodating. My husband and I describe our wedding day as the 'perfect and best day of our lives' and we know it's because Lauren was so instrumental in making it as such and we felt very taken care of. Lauren puts forth so much effort in making her clients happy. For example, I planned a surprise bridesmaid mash up for my husband, and she had to create two versions of the timeline, one with the surprise and one without, and when we met with her in person, she held it together and didn't mention the surprise when going over the timeline. Such professionalism and dedication! She treated our wedding as if it were her own, and I also feel that one added benefit of going with Lauren is that she has great vendor recommendations AND all of the vendors I know or have met absolutely love working with her. II was referred to her by about five different people who have all said positive things about her and she definitely lived up to the hype! I really hope Lauren continues to do this for a long time so that my children may use her for their weddings!

Lauren and the entire L-4-Love team will NOT disappoint!
I will preface this review by saying that I am a pretty organized, party-planning savvy person, but I knew that planning my wedding (to take place back home in Hawai'i) while living in San Diego was going to take some expert assistance.
I hired L-4-Love for full service wedding coordination as a wedding gift to myself (and for my sanity), and now that the day has come and gone, I 100% stick by my decision to do so.
From their preferred vendor lists, to detailed spreadsheets for budgeting, guest lists, and day-of timelines, their rental inventory, and just an overall outstanding level of communication and support, L-4-Love was on point. Not to mention that Lauren and her team are all so personable and always willing to go the extra mile.
The L-4-Love team was able to keep this "type A" bride calm and organized and I got my wish of being able to fully enjoy my wedding day without worrying about the details.
I would, without hesitation, recommend L-4-Love for your future wedding planning needs.

If we could give Lauren and her team more than 5 stars we would!! If you are researching who to help you plan your wedding, this is a no brainer. You will have the most stressfree, perfectly organised and well designed wedding you could ever hope for! We live in Australia and wanted to get married at Lanikuhonua in Hawaii, so we had to do everything online and blindly (which is so scary!). I researched every possible planner and decided to go with L4Love due to the wonderful reviews and lovely emails exchanged. We chose the month of wedding coordination. From the very moment we chose L4Love we received the best list of vendors and tips and Lauren was so organised and knowledgeable about everything we needed. After all, we had never planned a wedding before! She thought of everything, and the special day came and everything went perfectly to plan. Our experience with L-4-Love has been nothing short of amazing! From the time that my husband and I booked their Month-of wedding service, Lauren made sure that we were very well taken care of. She is professional, has a positive attitude, very helpful, organized to the littlest details, easy to work with throughout the process, and very prompt in all her responses – especially via email (which was REALLY important for us, as we live in LA but having our wedding in Hawaii).

Lauren gave helpful suggestions regarding vendors and other wedding details. She also made our wedding timeline and executed it flawlessly (even when an unplanned speech went overtime by 10 minutes). From set up to takedown, Lauren took care of everything for us. She took over all the vendor communications and other details that might’ve slipped our minds. She was flexible and understanding in meeting with us before the start of the month-of service, as that was the only time my husband and I could meet with her in Hawaii.

I was really nervous during the planning process, but on the wedding day my husband and I were able to enjoy and have fun with our friends and family! Honestly, you can’t find a more dedicated wedding coordinator than Lauren! We couldn’t have done this without Lauren and her team. Lauren did such an amazing job for our destination wedding in Hawaii! We live in Vancouver, BC and we hired Lauren for a "Month of Coordination", and we're so thankful we did! After our first call, it was clear that Lauren is seasoned and knows the in's and out's of wedding planning. Even with the four-hour time difference, Lauren was quick to respond — this was such a relief and made the process go smooth. Just to give you a perspective there were 435 guests some flying in from the mainland and outer islands. A difficult task with many guests, vendors, bride’s vision and Lanikuhonua’s rules and regulations that I couldn’t do alone. My wedding venue was at Lanikuhonua Estate in the beautiful resort of Ko Olina Reosrt and those who are familiar are aware you need to hire all separate vendors (tents, tables, chairs, Dj, caterers, bar & etc.). To get me started Lauren provided me with a wedding info sheet that would better help her to start connecting the dots for me. From selecting a caterer to who was going to drop off the centerpieces to breaking down and cleaning up, she helped me cover EVERY SINGLE detail. Nothing was overlooked. I had action stations, she knew to ask what they may need to have rented so everything would flow smoothly. I had a full ombre rose petal runner for my ceremony; she knew to have a cleanup crew for those thousands of petals, I wanted certain details in my video, she worked with the videographers to ensure the timeline was feasible. I may sound biased but honestly, I not only was able to enjoy cocktail hour with my guests, I even got to enjoy the appetizers and ambiance of the ocean front estate. You always hear stories like “I didn’t get to eat” or “I was so stressed” Let me say, Lauren and her team that day were like little fairy god mothers running around making sure my husband and I and guests had everything we needed. They made it magical. We felt like we had the most amazing fairytale wedding straight out of a Hollywood movie and it was evident in all our guests’ feedback of their experience. I want to also point out that people sometimes may not talk about it but you may have a difficult time asking certain questions to vendors so things work out. Lauren not only stepped in on my behalf for those challenging situations, she was respectful to accomplishing a happy medium and making our day perfect.

What can I say except that Lauren and her team are fantastic. I'm sure it’s not every day that the groom has to do most of the wedding vendor coordination but that was the case with us due to my wife's limited English. Lauren answered all of our questions, emails and guided us throughout the whole planning process. She had checklist for everything we could think of and also had vendor recommendations which all turned out to be wonderful. On the day of the wedding her team took care of all of the coordination between the vendors and the hotel. She had pre planned timelines for us and the bridal party so we knew where we needed to be at all times. She even was prepared for some unexpected emergencies. My groomsman suit button broke off and Lauren was johnny on the spot with a sewing kit. Our entire day went smoothly and we were able to enjoy it all stress free. If we had to do it all over again we would not hesitate to use L4Love again. If you want professional, thoughtful, seamless, and caring wedding coordination we highly recommend Lauren and L4Love!!!

My husband and I are from Virginia Beach, VA and we had our destination wedding in Kapolei, HI. I made my search online for a coordinator and funnily enough, through social media hashtags too. I remember searching #hawaiiweddingplanner, among others, and came upon L4Love's instagram. I loved what I saw so I inquired and after the initial phone convo w/Lauren, I felt very at ease w/what was ahead of me. She had all areas covered when asking me what my vision was. We decided to book Lauren for the 6 weeks out package. In retrospect, I sort of wished we booked her for full planning. Lanikuhonua requires that all vendors be booked by us, so I spent almost all of my time researching online about several thousand vendors and trying to find the right one for the right price. Had we booked Lauren for full planning, I feel like life would've been ten times easier! However, her vendor recommendations helped tremendously! We were able to ask Lauren questions throughout our planning and she always responded in a timely manner. As we approached our wedding day, communication w/Lauren began to grow and as soon as the 6 week mark hit, I felt a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. Lauren pretty much took all the planning I had so far off of my hands and I was able to breathe and relax! She made sure to ask me many questions about anything I may or may not have covered. I felt very confident in her when she took the reigns. I no longer had a thousand emails in my inbox, as she took over that too. I was able to just coast into my wedding week. As we arrived in Hawaii for our wedding, Lauren made sure everything went as planned. I walked into my wedding seeing everything look better than I had been imagining for the year of planning! She was very good at making sure things went to schedule and that everything was covered. Our wedding was perfect and she was a big part of it! We would definitely recommend her and her team for your wedding planning needs! They are such great people!

Hiring Lauren to help us coordinate our wedding was the best thing we did for our wedding. We weren't sure if we could budget it in, but we heard such great things about L-4-Love through friends and family we couldn't resist. The whole process of hiring her to the end of our wedding was easy and she is very organized. First off, when we inquired about hiring for day of coordination she sent over information on all her packages. The information was very detailed about what services she would provide with each package. We decided to go with the day of coordination. She was very clear on what we needed to have done (seating chart, ceremony order etc) and gave us due dates so there was no miscommunication and we were on top of our stuff. It was great to have a 'wedding expert' to ask little questions. She has done a ton of weddings and knows what she's doing. After working with her for a couple of months we decided to upgrade our package to the month and a half package, this was another smart move on our part. Lauren had us complete everything almost two weeks in advance so we were able to relax a bit the days leading up to the wedding. During the wedding, Lauren and her staff were all smiles and had all the information needed for wedding. They did a great job setting up everything the way we wanted. She also brought extra stuff that matched our decor and added it, which I loved! Some of our vendors commented on how great she was to work with. Everything ran so smoothly the day of the wedding and we didn't have any worries. We would highly recommend her to anyone considering a wedding coordinator.

ZERO complaints about L-4-LOVE!!! They're truly as good as it gets!!! I am an event planner myself and I must say, I'm impressed (and I'm not ever easily impressed, haha!!). For me, professionalism, promptness, thoroughness, and friendliness are ALL a must and they hit every mark! Lauren and Nikki were our rockstars!!! Lauren helped us from the beginning until about 2 weeks prior to the wedding and then our package was handed off to Nikki and they were both such a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, they were always on time, extremely organized, friendly, and thorough!! Our wedding day was such a blur but with Nikki around, everything seemed so smooth that day! We couldn't have been more happy and they were also super thoughtful and left us a sweet little note surrounded by loose flower petals in the shape of a heart in our room. Do you want your wedding to go smoothly? Do you want a planner who is super responsive, on the ball, who can anticipate problems before they happen, and come up with solutions? Then Lauren and the L-4 Love team are exactly what you need. Lauren was hands down, the best choice we made in planning our wedding. Although you don't know it when you book her, you would easily pay twice what she charges after you see how amazing she is. We selected Lauren's month-and-a-half package which is the best deal. Lauren quickly wrapped up any loose ends so that everything was squared away on the day of. She helped us with out timeline which was immensely helpful and coordinated with all our vendors. On the day of, Lauren and her team went above and beyond and was so thoughtful with the things she did. To name a couple of things (out of the many things Lauren did), she had cool towels for us since it was really hot that day. She also packed all of our decorations neatly away in a corner of our room so that we didn't have to clean a thing. It's these little things that makes you know she was really thinking about how to make the wedding day super special and perfect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lauren. I am a pretty organized and detail oriented person. I was hesitant to hire someone because I was confident that I could do it all on on my own! However, my husband convinced me to take the leap and seriously, hiring Lauren was the BEST decision ever! Lauren is super personable, easy to talk to, a good listener, provides suggestions and solutions, and goes over and beyond to please her clients! I really appreciated her quick response. She is tech savvy so she's quick with e-mail, social media, and text messages! That was really important for me, especially because I was planning a destination wedding. I work in a fast paced industry so I am used to speedy responses. It was super helpful to hire Lauren for full planning services because not only did she provide useful templates, but she also received special discounts that we would not otherwise have been eligible for. I highly recommend hiring Lauren for full planning because she has a list of vendors that she has great relationships with. She gave us a list of options to choose from, which also made it easier for us to pick and hire our wedding dream team! We had sprung on new requests for specific vendors that she had never dealt with in the past (e.g. finding a dove release vendor, finding an officiant familiar with Filipino culture wedding traditions), and she rose to the occasion. She was able to find us a couple vendors to choose from, and they were reasonably priced and responsible vendors. Lauren does her best to help out and provide solutions to keep her clients happy. She totally went above and beyond to accommodate a lot of our needs and our budget! She was such a lifesaver in multiple instances - it's too much to list out. She is super organized and that really is a testament to the success of our wedding day execution. Everything ran smoothly, and on time! Lauren is a great wedding planner! She is very personable and super organized!! I live in California and actually met up with Lauren in Los Angeles. My wedding was a destination wedding in Hawaii, which is where Lauren lives.. It was a crazy coincidence but I knew it was meant to be! Even though I hired Lauren for the month of planning she was always easily accessible and quick to respond. She is very knowledgeable in the industry and has a list of recommended vendors which was extremely helpful. I don't know what I would have done without her!

When the week of our wedding came and all of my family was flying out, we had a little bit of a dilemma with our house rental. Lauren who is a WEDDING PLANNER was kind enough to send me recommendations on places to stay and even put me in contact with her real estate friend who was going to help us find a place to stay. Luckily, we were able to find a something last minute. That goes to show Lauren truly does care about her clients and went out of her way to help when she didn't have to! I highly recommend L-4-Love. Lauren and her asst. Ashley are incredible. They are so personable and hard working. They communicate and keep you informed. Lauren would make sure that ALL vendors were on board and continued to keep them informed so there were no glitches. When we needed suggestions for certain vendors, she made great recommendations, such as make-up artists and DJ. She has great working relationships with these vendors and secured lower prices and additional requests.

Before, during and after the event, Lauren and her team, made themselves available to make the event memorable. Guests Reached out to us for many weeks to tell us that it was a spectacular event with every detail perfect!

It's great to work with someone who seems like they were born to do their profession! Lauren truly loves her work, and her dedication can be seen in the attention she gives to each individual client, crafting the perfect wedding to suit that couple. She was always super positive, organized, and responsive, and I knew that she would keep everything running on the day of my wedding so that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. I also really appreciated that Lauren never pressured me into spending more or doing things more extravagantly. I only hired Lauren as a day-of coordinator, but we met and kept in contact regularly before the day, and she did her best to keep me on track even as I procrastinated on a lot of details! If I were to do it over again (hopefully won't have to :) I would spend the extra cash to hire Lauren as a full-service coordinator, which would have alleviated some of the last-minute stress that I brought upon myself. The last thing you want is to be running around doing errands in the days and weeks leading up to your big day, so I think it's definitely worth it to skimp somewhere else (decorations, favors, whatever) and invest in Lauren's services!

We hired Lauren as our day of coordinator as soon as began the wedding planning process. I knew I wanted to hire Lauren because I had heard great things about her services. Lauren and her team were wonderful to work with. Lauren was THE FASTEST at replying and was happy to answer questions and provide advice in the months leading up to the wedding. Even though she spends most of her year in LA, the distance did not affect her ability to coordinate with me and all the wedding vendors. Lauren helped make the final months leading up to the wedding as stress-free as possible (and I'm pretty high-stress). Lauren and the L-4-Love crew was amazing to work with! What captured us initially about Lauren is that she was so genuine and it shined through the whole time we worked with her. Lauren and her team were absolutely amazing! I'm a busy graduate student and was planning my reception from afar so needless to say I was a little scattered and stressed. All I can say is, L-4-Love AMAZING! L-4-Love was recommended to us by our linens vendor and we never looked back! Lauren was super responsive from the very first email, and that was the first indication that I knew I wanted to go with her! Her responsiveness did not end there. Throughout the entire process, her responses to all my emails or phone calls were quick, and I loved it! One of my biggest pet peeves with a lot of businesses is their lack in response time. To me responsiveness shows you care and shows the business's dedication to you as their client/customer, and Lauren nailed it right on the head! It definitely helped that she was competitively priced as well! After some debating if we wanted to cough up the money for a wedding planner, we went with the month-and-a-half package, and it was the best decision ever! There were so many things to worry about but as soon as Lauren stepped in, it's like all those worries disappeared! Due to some personal circumstances, Lauren could not be there on the day of our wedding, but her associates, Nikki and Mona did a wonderful job. If anything did go wrong at the wedding, I did not know anything about it and everything on our big day went so smoothly! Lauren is definitely a people person, and it was clear she had established relationships with many of Hawaii's vendors, which made everything run smoothly and perfectly. Lauren and her staff at L-4-Love were wonderful! We utilized her assistance in recommending vendors, timeline prep, decoration rental, and day of coordination services. Since we are in CA and the wedding was in Hawaii, it was super helpful to have her expertise in choosing the vendors, planning the decorations and overall management of the big day! Since we are a lesbian couple we really wanted to make sure that everyone we worked with was open and accepting and Lauren was very helpful in making the right choices! She also sent us ideas for ways to cut costs and was incredibly responsive to my questions. We had Candace Redongo (One of Lauren's associates) and two other assistants for the day of and they were fantastic. I really enjoyed her laid back style and they made sure that I only had to deal with things that I needed to provide input into. They took care of the rest. They also made sure we got all of the pictures we wanted and brought us drinks and whatever else we needed. Well worth every penny and just a pleasure to work with!

When I got engaged and began the planning process, I knew that I wanted to challenge myself and plan my own wedding. However, I also knew that I needed a day-of coordinator as I was NOT going to allow myself to stress on one of the most important days of my life! We had just moved from LA to Hawaii and she was extremely prompt in responding to all my emails, calls and texts. Our wedding day was October 26, 2013 and Lauren checked in about 2 months prior to our wedding date. She took over all the vendor contacts/contracts and kept everything in check! Not going to lie, I was extremely stressed out leading up to the big day but Lauren was there for me every step of the way. She addressed and answered any questions I had and gave me countless advice when I needed it - even late night 1am LA time! Day of, we had a very tight timeline (and tight budget) since we had our photographer and videographer for only 8 hours total. Although our timeline was challenging and tight, Lauren was able to transition through every element of our program and surprisingly finished with extra time on our hands! Lauren oversaw the entire set up of our wedding and I was incredibly happy to see that everything I had envisioned came to life. She's very organized and extremely detail-oriented. Lauren was also kind enough to let me borrow some of her rental items such as her burlap runner for our check-in table and "sweets" sign for the dessert table. She had wonderful assistants to help out with the set-up and guest check-in. We felt completely stress-free and had the most memorable, amazing time. Overall, Lauren and her team were incredibly professional and seamless in the execution of our big day. All of our local and out of town guests raved about how much fun they had at our wedding. For anyone debating whether to hire a day of coordinator, trust me...it's totally worth the investment! You'll be glad you hired Lauren for your big day!

I hired Lauren of L-4 Love to coordinate my wedding this September. She and her team did a fantastic job. ** full disclosure – I knew Lauren before I hired her (we have the same circles of friends) – which is why I knew she would do a fabulous job as our day-of-coordinator.**
When I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to “plan” the wedding myself. I’m very organized and had a distinct vision in mind for what I wanted our wedding to look like. Although she lives in LA & we live in Hawaii, she was there to help us from the very first stages of our wedding planning! One thing a bride can really appreciate is honesty...she offered helpful advice on minor and major details along the way which made the wedding planning much less intimidating. When it came down to crunch time, she always there, keeping me in check, and really made me feel at ease. And when the big day came, I really didn't have to worry about a thing! I got engaged in March, and my fiancé and I wanted to get married here, where we met and fell in love, before having to move to the mainland in August. Lauren pulled off my dream wedding on a tight budget and less than 5 months to plan! I can honestly say that we actually HAD fun at our own wedding!!!!

She was incredibly nice, thoughtful, and dedicated to helping me carry out my vision, rather than what she thought it ought to be. She is very well connected on Oahu, so she can help you find the right vendor at the right price! Importantly, she's also very honest and was upfront about some of the things I wanted that would put us over-budget. I was able to think things through with her help and make decisions where to cut down on cost in order to have the things that were most important to me.

She was also determined to keep my stress level at a minimum (which is darn near impossible for a graduate student, planning a rush wedding while trying to move her life to the mainland for internship). At one point, my fiancé joked that I spent more time talking to her on the phone than I did talking to him!

Lastly, to all the geeks like me out there, she has all kinds of awesome spreadsheets that she shares to help you keep track of guest lists, cost, and every steps along the process!!

I cannot recommend Lauren enough to all brides-to-be! I was planning a wedding with two challenges. 1) I was in California and the wedding was in Hawaii. 2) The wedding was held at a site where everything needed to be brought in and cleared out of, same day. So coordinating many vendors, details and being organized was essential. I knew going into the wedding planning, that I was going to need a wedding planner for at least part of the process. Initially, I was only going to hire a 'Day of' wedding planner, but after talking to Lauren, I decided to have her help me with all the planning. That was the most valuable wedding-related decisions I made.

Lauren made the whole process so much more manageable, for both my husband and I. We all felt really comfortable with each other right away, which made our communications easy and in synch. Lauren really understood what we envisioned for our wedding, even if our ideas were pretty vague. Plus, she has excellent taste!! So all of her recommendations we're spot on, whether it was decorations, lighting, floor plans, etc. And as she said, she is very detail-oriented, which is absolutely crucial for wedding planner to be. She is also super responsive and professional!

I could go on and on, but just take away this: If you hire Lauren, you will be happy you did!!

Lauren was very professional and detail-oriented. She was quick to reply to all calls and emails and worked with all of our vendors (some of whom were extremely difficult). Thanks to Lauren, we barely had to do anything. She was very easy to work with and is a really sweet person. To all the future brides, you must hire Lauren for your wedding!
Most people who know me would say that I am very detailed and organized. When it came to planning our wedding I thought I would be able to take care of it. My husband had suggested that we look at hiring a planner just so it would take the stress off a bit but i didn't think we could afford it in our budget. Our venue was an outdoor location and we would have to bring EVERYTHING in ourselves so we decided that we would at least call around and see how much a day of coordinator would cost. I was in shock at the prices and the attitudes that we got. It seemed like because we didn't have a huge budget other companies weren't willing to work with us. A family member had recently gotten married and suggested that we get in contact with Lauren who had planned his wedding. That was the best decision we made! Lauren was very professional, quick to respond and friendly. We decided we would hire her as our day of planner but also to help us with our rehearsal and a few other things. Turns out she helped us with SO MUCH MORE! One of the main issues we were having was with our catering. We are both foodies and having good food was at the top of our list. We had gone through two other companies and were pretty much down to the wire (1 month before our date) and we still didn't have a caterer. I talked to Lauren about the situation and she quickly recommended a company that had just done a wedding the previous week with her. Not only did she recommend but she got us a tasting at the last minute and helped us with emails, calls and negotiating. I could go on and on about things that Lauren did for us but I would be writing all day. Bottom line is that if you think you can't afford or can do it yourself as I did, think again. The stress and anxiety that Lauren and her team took off of me is priceless. Our wedding turned out EXACTLY as we had hoped for. Lauren, we couldn't be more thankful!!!!

Lauren from L-4-Love truly made our wedding a day Brett and I will remember forever. From our first meeting, I felt like Lauren knew exactly what we were looking for. Her enthusiasm was contagious! She was able to take our raw vision and come up with special detailed touches that transformed our simple ideas into a breathtaking reality. I really appreciate that she always gave us her honest opinion. With all of her talent and experience, her honesty really helped us create something even more beautiful than we had originally envisioned! The one thing I really appreciate about Lauren is that her honest goal above all goals is to create a wedding that is unique to each couple that she works with!

Equally pairing Lauren's creativity was her amazing organizational skills. I can admit that my responses to her questions were not always as fast as she probably hoped but Lauren was able to subtly guide me to make my decisions in a timely manner, which really helped to make the final month before the wedding a less painful experience than I thought it was going to be.

Throughout the entire process, Lauren made sure our needs were taken care of! She always made us feel like we were her number one priority. Thank you Lauren for making our day so special!

I was the makeup artist for the bride and bridesmaid. I do not live in the location of the actual wedding and would be flying in just for this event. Lauren was great at communicating the logistics and time. Any changes or updates she kept me well informed which made my job a whole lot easier. The actual wedding itself looked amazing from what I saw and it seemed like the bride was very relaxed and not worried about a thing on her special day except to have fun and get married. I believe this is what all brides would want!

We hired Lauren for day-of planning after the amazing work we had witnessed her do at a friends wedding. I could not have been more pleased with the decision to hire Lauren as our planner. Lauren planned our wedding in 2012. I don't know how we could have done it without her!

She is diligent, detail-orientated, and organized. I was very impressed with her ability to rise above the chaos and maintain calm, assertive direction on the day of and throughout the planning 'process'.

I'll never do it again, but if I was going to I wouldn't do it without Lauren. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants to work with an exceptional event planner!

I knew i wanted to do most if not all the wedding planning for our wedding, but I knew from other friend's that I NEEDED a wedding coordinator for the day of. My now husband proposed in September after 9+ years of serious dating (and a few dogs later) and we decided we need to have our wedding 3ish months later to accommodate his brother's baseball schedules. Lauren was one of 3 vendors I contacted the week after we were engaged. She quickly responded and was checking in with me to see my progress in the wedding planning and always offering assistance in anything I needed. Although we were long distance, we kept constant email contact almost every day and mostly 3-7x a day! She never got irritated with my questions or my rambling emails and was always sending me helpful advice to help me make educated decisions for everything from decorations to vendors.
When we got down to the last month, Lauren was quick to step in and coordinate with the other vendors and handling all coordination and logistics for our wedding. I was still finalizing details and STILL finding the last vendors, but this never fazed Lauren, and she gave me recommendations to help me finalize everything. We had only 2 teleconferences to discuss and update her on the latest developments and she was EXTREMELY organized and asked all the right questions that would keep us from missing any details on the day of.
Wedding day went as smoothly as we could (unexpected last minute guest, 2 missing guests, wind/rain, dead fish for our centerpiece, forgetting the rings, parent's gifts and my garter, change in the reception floor plan) but Lauren was INCREDIBLY calm and collected and quickly resolved things. Hiring L-4 Love was THE BEST MONEY we spent on our wedding and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone having a wedding ANYWHERE. Lauren and her staff were organized, trustworthy, prepared, easy to work with and above all AWESOME.

I had the honor having Lauren not only as my wedding planner but as a bridesmaid for my Cabo San Lucas destination wedding. This was her first out of the country wedding in Mexico and even though we may have gone through some struggles with the coordinator at the hotel, Lauren never let it get to her. She was able to arrange for all of my visions to be implemented even though we never met with a vendor, sampled any food or desserts, looked at any fabrics or decor up close (except for through pictures) or even personally saw the hotel that we had decided to get married at. In the end it was a day that I NEVER could have done by myself or been as creative without Lauren. It is pretty impressive that she is able to do all of this on her own; no team alongside to help her. I would have to say that no matter how much help you think you don't need or how organized you claim to be, having someone on your side who knows the smallest of details to the biggest decisions; like picking out your dress, Lauren is the perfect person to have there. Even just a consult is worth your time. Cause you don't know what Lauren has in store for the wedding of your dreams like she had for mine.

Originally like most brides I thought I didn't need a wedding planner, but when the decision/stress just got to be too much, I called Lauren and it was the best decision I made (except for the groom of course). I was excited to work with Lauren because from her website I knew she was young, modern and fresh. From my first meeting with Lauren, I knew I could trust her, she made me feel comfortable and stress less knowing my wedding would be exactly how I imagined it. She also won over my mother who would be involved in helping plan a California wedding from Arizona! Lauren was always available for you to pick her brain. As her website says, she provides unlimited consultation before the wedding and she means it! Any call, text or email I would send would be returned within minutes.

Our Reception was 120+ at private residence in Malibu, CA and we were responsible for bringing in all the vendors, tables, decorations, linens, china…. (honestly the list could go on and on). We also got married in a near by church, so lots of logistics involved. She seamlessly coordinated all the vendors and beautifully executed an idea that was in my mind. Her ever-famous timeline was so detail-oriented and definitely made the day so smooth for everyone involved. Not once did she blink at a request or an extra thing put on the TO DO list. The day of the wedding I had three assistant planners because Lauren had another wedding (I knew this when I hired her), and they were all so wonderful and professional. At the end of it all, Lauren did way more than what I paid her for and I am so grateful. Lauren is a true professional; her attitude, work ethic, and dedication to her clients is obvious. Thank you! We had a GREAT experience with Lauren – she is amazing beyond words. We absolutely love her!! As the emcee for this event it was necessary for me to understand the wants and needs of the bride and groom. Lauren provided 100% of the information that I needed at all times (before, during and after the event). Even when I "goofed" on a few names or time lines, Lauren's professionalism and flexibility really shined for this event. As with any wedding, last minute changes to the program are inevitable. My husband and I decided shortly after our engagement that we would handle the wedding planning and coordination on our own. We are both very organized professionals, and have a huge circle of family and friends in our corner begging to help out. Plus, we were on a very tight budget and figured it would be better to splurge elsewhere. Fast forward to a month before the wedding, stressed out to the max and feeling like we were driving all of our loved ones crazy, we decided to hire a day-of coordinator. Lauren and I received our business degrees together and I had seen on facebook that she started a wedding planning company. I contacted her for information, and that was the best decision I have made.

Lauren’s day-of coordination package is really misleading (it is SO much more). There was not a day in the month coming up to my wedding that we didn’t talk. I felt like I took a dump truck full of stress and put it all onto her. She is glued to her email and is an excellent communicator. She asked the questions that either I hadn’t thought of or I hadn’t said out loud. She worked closely with all of my vendors (and family/friend helpers), ironed out every possible detail, and even gave us a few surprises on the wedding day. We were shocked that she seemed to be everywhere we were, ready and waiting to tell us what was next.

The ease of mind she provided on my wedding day is intangible and priceless. And trust me: I was one of those crazy stressed brides before meeting her. I highly recommend Lauren and her services. I will pass her information along to anyone I know planning an event.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Lauren on the Joslyn & Taylor wedding. I did the bride's makeup. She worked with me months in advance to make sure the bride and her wedding party had everything they needed and were well taken care of. Lauren and I did all of the communicating so the bride didn't have to fuss or worry on her big day. Lauren Smith of L4Love is the reason our wedding day was as beautiful as it was. I am not organized and tend to have a million ideas but could not pull it together. She listened to me as the babbling bride and helped me find the wedding that was a perfect fit for my husband and I. I found my dress, and the city I wanted to get married in (Santa Barbara, California) and she really did the rest.

I needed Lauren's expertise and definitely her organizational skills and REMINDERS to get me to my wedding day. Her suggestions and information about the bug decisions all the way down to the small reminders like having heel covers for my and my bridesmaids shoes in the grass were exactly what every bride needs to have a worry free wedding.

The best way I can gauge her skills was how impressed all of the guests were with our day. We had a very diverse guest list and across the board, everyone was impressed.

We already had an 8 year old daughter and with how long we have been together, I expressed to Lauren our main goal with our wedding: which was to have a beautiful wedding with the main focus being about our family coming together and celebrating the love that we were already raising our daughter in. Lauren helped me to take care of all the formalities and helped us focus on what was most important to us. She helped mold our ceremony and reception around what worked for us.... Personalizing it to CJ and Melissa.... Not just every bride and groom.

Lauren was fantastic. Being the typical male, I didnt really have any interest in participating in the wedding planning (with the exception of a few key items - food, music, guest list). She worked directly with my wife to put together one of the most memorable days I could imagine. Lauren (L4L) made herself immediately available at all times throught the planning process and went above and beyond the week and day of. Everything was maticulously planned and executed. Any surprises/ hurdles were taken care of immediately and effectively. We could not imagine a wedding going as smoothly as ours did.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Lauren Smith as our wedding planner for our May 2012 wedding. Lauren is truly amazing! She is very personable and friendly and always makes you feel like you are her top priority. She was always willing to meet with us, whether it was searching for floral vendors or meeting with our venue coordinator. She was excellent in her email communication, always quickly replying to our questions and concerns. She is always accessible to her clients and looking to do whatever she can for her clients.

Lauren is very organized and detail oriented. Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time, but Lauren’s organization eliminated all of our worries. She was the point of contact for our vendors and always gave us multiple options as we searched for various wedding vendors. She is always looking out for what is best for her clients and will always try to find the best deals to allow you to stay within your budget. The budget spreadsheet she created for us and her payment reminders helped us make sure that we were always mindful of our budget and were not late with any payments.

The motto of L-4-Love is: “It’s all about the details.” I couldn’t agree more. Lauren is a very creative person with a special eye for those “details” that make a wedding unique. She was always presenting us with new and fun ideas for making our wedding truly unique. We have received so many compliments from our guests on the unique details that Lauren helped us come up with, from the boarding pass escort cards to the table cards of the cities that my wife and I had visited together. Lauren even created the beautiful hairpiece my wife wore for the wedding.

Lauren was truly a pleasure to work with. Both my wife and I are very “Type A”, but we completely trusted Lauren and her team with bringing the wedding of our dreams to fruition. Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail allowed our wedding day to run smoothly without any problems. Lauren is an amazing wedding planner and an even better person. L-4-Love surpassed all of our expectations. Our personal coordinator was Lauren Smith and we absolutely could not have found a better person for the job. It's weird to even say it was a job for her, because she treated our special day as if it was her own.

We interviewed quite a few other coordinators, and they all charged very high and had so many stipulations about what they were and were not willing to do for us (ie. won't got to vendor meetings with us, only respond to emails twice per week etc.) Lauren was the exact opposite. She made it her mission to do as much as she possibly could for us, with no limitations.

My husband and I are laid-back kind of people and felt overwhelmed just thinking about all the decisions we'd have to make for the wedding. There are so many little things we didn't even know we'd have to make decisions about, like what kind of box do we want at the gift table for the guests to put their gift cards in etc. Lauren thought of EVERYTHING! She's extremely detail oriented and unbelievably efficient.

Weddings can be so expensive, but I think that by hiring Lauren we actually saved money. She has strong relationships with the vendors and did incredible research to save us money on everything from flowers, to vases, to seat covers and linens, to sound and lighting etc. We definitely could NOT have done it ourselves.

A lot of coordinators will recommend you to certain vendors because those vendors are their friends or because they get kick-backs themselves for referring business. Lauren's only motivation was to get us the BEST QUALITY for the Best PRICE! And she did!

Not only is Lauren super capable and professional, but she does it all with a smile! She's so sweet and kind, and after going through this process with her we consider her a friend.

Lauren and her incredible teams service to us was a true GIFT! Do yourself a HUGE favor and give L-4-Love a call!!!!

Lauren was fantastic! She thought of everything and was a real detail person which was great since I am from NJ and the wedding was in CA. I was the mother of the groom so I didn't have a lot to say but we did a slide show of the bride and groom with pictures going back to birth, planning the wedding rehearsal dinner and planning and executing the goody bags for our out of town guests. I know that the bride and groom loved what she did for them and she couldn't have been nicer and more pleasant even when there was a lot of stress going on. The wedding venue was beautiful thanks to her ingenuity and taste! Sign her up for your wedding you will love her!!!

Lauren planned my wedding on March 17th 2012 and all I can say is it couldn't have been more perfect! I always thought someday I could be married but I didn’t have any concept of how my wedding would look like. So having someone like Lauren not only plan, coordinate, and organize my wedding but bring something to life that I could never on my conceptualize, was invaluable. From our first meeting and on I kept reiterating that I wanted my wedding to feel like a celebration of the union between myself and my husband and something too structured, and I got that and more. Also, like many couples out there both of us have full time jobs and planning a wedding is a full time job in of itself, and I often say left to own devices without Lauren I would have ended up having my wedding at the court house with McDonalds as the reception :-) I strongly recommend Lauren and her services. It's really important that you trust your planner to understand you and what is most important to you, and there was never a moment where I didn't know that about her. The proof was in the pudding when the day of my wedding came and when I saw it all come together. She's incredibly creative, personable and innovative in her approach. I had the best experience and am so thankful for the perfect day she gave me!

I really loved working with Lauren Smith! She was very friendly and sweet and talking to her about the event was always delightful. Communication with her was very easy because she was very calm, open-hearted and professional. I really appreciated how smoothly we were able to work together and I recommend her as a wedding planner.

Lauren was such a great person to work with! I was the makeup artist for one of her brides and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was consistent with her email response and is very organized. Her personality makes speaking with her like she is one of your friends but she always maintained a very professional attitude. She was always smiling despite the stresses that come along with the wedding and I could see that really helped the bride relax and enjoy her special day.

I could see that the bride and Lauren really bonded like best friends during the planning process. It showed when Lauren slipped into an orange dress the bride requested her to wear for a quick photoshoot. Although hesitant at first, she agreed and the bride was elated! This goes to show that she will literally bend over backwards for her clients.

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren Smith this past Sunday (3/18/12), she did a great job with everything. I was the videographer for the wedding and it was nice having someone who made sure everything and everyone was on track. The wedding ran smoothly and the Bride and Groom thanked her at the end of the wedding saying "this wedding is exactly what we wanted and we couldn't have done it without Lauren." Trusting someone with your wedding is a big deal, so trust someone who cares and trust Lauren. I never write reviews but Lauren did a great job so I hope this helps someone when choosing the right Wedding Planner.

What can I say about Lauren that would be able to do her justice. She put more work into our wedding than both of our families (that includes my wife and I) combined. She was with us through every step of the process, and even though she made her opinions know, she was very clear that this wedding was ours, and the decisions were ours as well. Once we made those decisions, she executed them in the most quick and efficient way possible.

She is professional, kind, sweet, and will work within your budget. We paid for the wedding ourselves, and one of her best skills was coming up with creative ideas that were not only inexpensive, but beautiful too. People were shocked when we told them how much our wedding cost, and the reason it was so cheap was because of Lauren and all her great detail oriented, gorgeous ideas. So many people told me it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

Also, even though she is tiny and sweet, she isn't afraid to press vendors to give you the best deal possible. She literally paid for her services on the first meeting we had with her and our venue. I truly felt that she had our best interest at the forefront of everything she did.

In short, without Lauren, our wedding wouldn't have been one tenth as beautiful, well done, and enjoyable as it was. Lauren, my wife and I can't thank you enough. You are a wonder.

Lauren is an amazing wedding planner. I could not have done anything without her. She is extremely organized, motivated, and creative. She constantly went above and beyond my expectations in all aspects of the process. Absolutely recommend to anyone who would like to take their wedding to the next level. Lauren has numerous connections and has a wonderful reputation here on Oahu and in Los Angeles, therefore, I was able to afford vendors that were out of my price range. Lauren is great at finding ways to save money and truly listens to what is most important to you. Great fashion sense and can even help with styling! I am beyond satisfied with our wedding. I don't mean to brag, but numerous people told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to:) Lauren is the best! xoxo
