I cannot thank Kayla and Kristi enough - throughout the entire process, they made me feel like a queen. Kayla and Kristi really listened to what I envisioned for not only my wedding day but my rehearsal as well. They brought such caring and fun energy on my wedding morning as well. They made my VIP guests feel so relaxed and were really attentive for their requests. Do not book anywhere else - KW Beauty Team is the only HMUA vendor team you need! -

Kristi and Kayla did hair and makeup for me (bride), 5 bridesmaids and my mother and MIL. They listened to each person and tailored their work to each person’s wants and made everyone feel special! They were super professional but also super personable and were a great addition to our special day! -

Kristi (makeup guru) and Kayla (hair extraordinaire) are a women-owned small business, a dynamic duo, and definitely who you want to enhance your natural radiance and make you look and feel absolutely stunning for your special day. 11/10 recommend!
Backstory: We decided to cancel our traditional wedding and elope six months sooner, and my original hair stylist wasn’t available on our new date. Krista and Kayla responded same day and we locked in the date quickly which was a huge relief. I never wanted a ton for my wedding, but I did want to have my hair and makeup done to make me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt, and these ladies rocked it.
First, they are so kind and welcoming which made my trial an awesome experience. (Note: do the trial, it makes the actual day much more relaxing!) I loved getting to know them and laugh with them, and knew they would fit right into my wedding party. Now on to the good stuff 😊 I don’t wear a lot of makeup in general so I wanted to still look like myself when all was said and done. Needless to say, they knocked it out of the park for all three of us girls. When I did my reveal on my wedding day I cried immediately, and they were there to dab my tears and fix my under eyes! The look was elegant and beautiful, which was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn’t have been happier. The other two girls also had their hair and makeup done and we kept commenting on how gorgeous we all were all day since none of us are overly feminine. Kristi and Kayla brought the light, the joy, and the dance moves to our getting ready party and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else with our small group.
Thank you SO MUCH for all you’ve done before, during, and since my elopement. I love calling you both friends and am very excited to use you again for my boudoir shoot! It will be so fun to see what else you both can do outside of a wedding! -

LOVED working with these ladies! They bring the perfect energy to your wedding day. They're incredibly communicative and easy to work with, and will feel like your ultimate hype-women. My hair and makeup were exactly what I'd asked for, and they did a great job of listening to the different requests of all the other ladies. I was looking for low-key, natural hair and makeup, and they really delivered. So glad I booked them, I would do it again! -

Perfection
I really don't know where to start in this review for Kayla because she was the best hair stylist to work with from the get go. She really took the time from our initial conversation to see what I was looking for and we went back and forth between a few hairstyles and decided to try 2 during my trial. I have A LOT of hair and I am not even kidding but she took it on like the absolute pro she is. After the trial, I ended up going back to her for a much needed haircut and basically have found my new hairstylist for now on. After the cut, we both had some time to think about the styles and decided that we both weren't in love with it and thought maybe we could do a combination of the two and she offered a second trial and the work she did was literally AMAZING. I was obsessed with her work and didn't want to take my hair out all day.
Come wedding week/day, she was very on top of things (as she always had been) and brought in her assistant Zak to help with the number of bridesmaids needing their hair done and let me tell you....those two are such a great hair team. The work they did on all of the girls was absolutely beautiful and they are so fun and conversational and made the day so enjoyable. If you haven't already booked a trial or a hairstylist for your wedding or event, I highly recommend getting on top of that now and contacting Kayla! -

I am so happy I found Kristi and Kayla for my wedding day beauty. They were incredibly nice, professional, talented, and excellent communicators. They helped me along with my bridesmaids, mom, mom-in-law, and flower girl look and feel beautiful. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and it looked great in the photographs. I highly recommend scheduling a trial prior to the wedding day so you can really figure out your wedding day look. And if you are really on top of it, schedule your trial on the same day you take your engagement photos! They arrived early at my wedding day hotel and were right on schedule getting ready so we never felt rushed. I highly recommend the KW Beauty Team. Thank you Kristi and Kayla! -

Kristi & Kayla were absolutely amazing to work with! They have a quick response time, able to work with a large bridal party, and attention to detail is EVERYTHING!
They both were beyond professional, but also very personable which is so important in your getting ready room! I felt like every bridesmaid and even my mom (not big into makeup) enjoyed getting pampered on the day of!
Kristi is an expert in make-up and will customize every detail you want featured in your look! Kayla is an wizard with hair and truly put together some of the best hairstyles for each bridesmaid & made me feel absolutely glorious for my wedding!
I would highly recommend checking out & chatting with Kristi & Kayla! They're the best and would hands down use them again and again! -

Your beauty team is one of the most important decisions to make for your big day and trust me when I say you can’t go wrong with Kayla and Kristi!! They are extremely professional and work seamlessly together. Ahead of my wedding day, I did a trial with both of them, which was so helpful in finding exactly what I wanted. Day-of, they were on time and kept to the schedule they had created for the girls to make sure we were all ready when needed. My bridal hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted and all of the girls looked amazing! Beyond their talent, Kayla and Kristi are kind, sweet, lovely people and truly made the getting ready part of the day so fun and easy. Highly, highly recommend! -

Unicorn of makeup!
Absolutly best make up artist! In san diego. As a wedding professional and boudiur photographer and a 2022 bride. I personal got to experience the magical transformation from the kw team. I have never felt more beautiful and confidant than I did on my trial and my big day! Kristi was on time, prepared, and worked at a fast pace leaving each and every one of my 6 brides maids feeling their absolute best. The most perfect balance of natural and full coverage was perfect! -

Kristi is so talented and so professional. She made me look and feel like a supermodel on my wedding day! It was such an amazing experience to have her with me throughout the whole experience. She did my trial the day of my engagement photoshoot and asked me what kind of makeup I normally wear, and we worked together to come up with the perfect look for me. I was so nervous the morning of my wedding but she is so nice and friendly that she helped calm my nerves and it was like having another friend there with me while getting ready! -

I honestly can’t thank this incredible duo enough! Thanks to the hair and make up my bridesmaids and I felt absolutely beautiful on the day, beyond our expectations! Additionally, as a bride I was truly impressed with the whole experience of working with these two from introduction to day of and even follow up, it was all amazing!! Always excellent
Kristy is great makeup artist. I have used her for many years in many events including my wedding and birthdays. She also has done many dances and birthdays for my daughter including my daughters prom. She is always punctual, accommodating, efficient, kind, helpful and goes wherever my events are and like always she does a fabulous job. I highly recommend Kristy for any event!! -

Such a fun team! Kayla is an amazing hair artist and makes you feel really comfortable. She truly made my wedding hair dreams come true. I love the extra care she took in making sure my hair accessories looked perfect and even modified them to fit the shape of my head better. She is an expert and made me give my hair a good shake (which I was scared to do) so she could make sure to reinforce any areas that may have fallen during the event. Kristi is awesome, she does wonderful makeup and made me feel so beautiful every step of the way. She listened to what I wanted and offered her expert opinions in areas I wasn’t sure about. I would definitely recommend this team! I hope to use them again for other events in the future. -
