We LOVED Kristyn! She was so communicative beforehand/during and made us feel totally at ease during both our engagement photos and all wedding photos. She got absolutely amazing photos (from two people who are generally totally awkward in front of a camera) and made it fun, while also efficient so we could spend the max amount of time with each other and our guests. If we do family photos or any other photos in the future, we will absolutely be hiring her!! -

If you want genuine, authentic pictures, book Kristyn!
Kristyn was the absolute best from start to finish. Leading up to the day, she answered every question I had, and rolled with the punches when I had some last minute changes. We were clear about wanting to join cocktail hour, as well as eat our meal. She clipped things along, and kept everything moving to make sure we got all the shots we needed, but still got to enjoy our wedding. During portraits, she made us feel so comfortable, and captured the most amazing candids. Plus, she’s just awesome to be around. Seriously, book Kristyn. -

Must book for your big day!
We are beyond happy with our decision to go with Kristyn for our wedding day. She is professional, organized and extremely creative. She is very fast at what she does the day of, where you don’t even realize what she is capturing in the moment until receiving your photos. Her shared timeline was probably our favorite and she stuck to it the day of. There were no surprises or anything that wasn’t to be expected. The money is very well spent on what you will receive. I agree with the saying “You get what you pay for” and this is definitely true when it comes to your photographer. We love all of our photos and are enjoying the memories we now have because of her. -

We LOVE Kristyn!
Kristyn is absolutely incredible. She is more than just a wedding photographer. She will become your friend as well! She is organized, punctual, and professional, not to mention her photos are STUNNING. She helped keep our wedding day running smoothly and helped my husband and I feel comfortable, which was huge for us since we aren't typically comfortable in front of the camera. I would choose Kristyn over and over and over again! -

Uh-mazing!
If you want wedding amazing photos look no further!! We hired Kristyn for our wedding last September and she was worth every penny!! I would highly recommend the package that included engagement photos because it was great getting the feel for professional photos before the big day. During the engagement session and the wedding day kristyn made us feel so comfortable ,guiding us so we could get the best shots without being overbearing. She was extremely efficient making sure we got all out family photos and bridal party photos because the day goes by FAST!! If you want someone with incredible talent, personality, who is respectful, fun, and communicates quickly book her before your date is taken because I guarantee her dates will go fast!! This review is very overdue, Kristyn captured our wedding this past September in Soquel, CA. Searching for a wedding photographer is no easy feat, but when i found Kristyn’s instagram I knew she was the one. Her work is absolutely beautiful, I mean her galleries speak for themselves. However, I also knew that I needed someone on that day who was down to earth and felt like a friend. I can’t tell you how many weddings I’ve been in where either the photographer was too assertive or just felt like a stranger. From our first phone call I immediately clicked with Kristyn. The year leading up to our wedding was definitely not an easy one, as I was battling health issues, which caused us to postpone our engagement shoot. Kristyn was nothing short of an angel with accommodating us. I will seriously never be able to thank her enough for the support she gave me that year leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, her and her second shooter, Beth, were so great to work with. Kristyn wore so many hats that day. She felt like my personal cheerleader, a friend, a wedding coordinator, and problem solver. I could not have imagined hiring anyone to capture our special day. We are in love with our wedding photos, and can’t wait for Kristyn to capture many more memories to come.

Kristyn was AMAZING
I found Kristyn on wedding wire and I'm so glad i did. She was so amazing throughout the whole process. From engagement photos to wedding day, she made sure she captured everything that was important to us. She was so flexible for our engagement shoot, willing to drive to 2 locations and let me change outfits in her car, all because i could not decide between locations and dresses. She got to know us as a couple so when the wedding day came, it was a breeze. She knew which angles i wanted to be photographed and was a “go with the flow” when i sprung ideas on her about spots i wanted photos in front of. She knew all the backdrops that would look good and all the poses that make great photographs. When it came to the wedding day, i fully trusted that she was going to capture everything i wanted and more. And that’s exactly what she did. Our wedding photos are so amazing i cant thank her enough. She made everything look fantastic and captured everything from food to family and all the small details i spent hours making perfect. Its been 5 months and i still have not printed our wedding Photos for the house because every time i go online to order, i cant choose which ones i want because there are so many amazing ones to pick from. I have no idea how to decide. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and i cant wait to have her as our photographer for future family moments. Thanks again Kristyn! We love every single photo and cant thank you enough for making multiple stops the day of our wedding to capture everything :) -

Kristyn was the perfect photographer to capture our special day, and I'm so grateful we chose her.
As silly as it sounds, I originally found Kristyn because I was looking for a photographer who loved dogs. We planned on having our bulldog in our engagement photos, and he's a bit of a handful. When I saw she had her dogs as part of her own wedding day, I knew I'd love her. Our engagement photos turned out awesome. She captured us, and our dog, perfectly.
She blew me away 10x over when I saw our wedding photos. She captured every single moment I would have wanted. My husband and I are certainly not naturals behind the camera, but she put us at ease, and we didn't feel like a camera was following us around. She gave us helpful direction for our poses when needed, but she also let us be ourselves.
Outside of her talent as a photographer, Kristyn is a phenomenal person. By the end of the year + that we had been in touch, I felt like she was a friend to me rather than a wedding vendor.

HammerSky Wedding
Kristyn was by far our best vendor! Super responsive and went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed, which as someone planning a destination wedding in the SLO area from across the country, I needed a lot of help! But more importantly, her pictures that she took of my husband and I (and family and friends) are absolutely BREATHTAKING! Over 5 months later, I’m still constantly getting comments from people on how beautiful our pictures are. And the thing I’m most appreciative is the quantity of quality photos. Most of my friends just have a handful of really good ones that they use. Because of Kristyn, a vast majority of ours are perfect for sharing, framing, etc. It’s impossible to just pick one favorite (or even five). Highly recommend Kristyn!! -

Photographer of our Dreams
Kristyn was an absolute joy to work with! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during our engagement photo session and made us even more excited for her to be there on our wedding day. We had a chance to meet with her and chat a few times between engagement photos and our wedding day which made it feel like we had a friend. Not to mention she was able to make my husband smile and capture his personality, even though he always freezes up when he sees a camera. Kristyn was expecting her first child just a couple of weeks after our wedding, despite that she was 100% present, had an incredible team, and delivered the photos of our dreams. Our friends and family even commented how professional and fun Kristyn and her team was to have there. We really wouldn’t have wanted anyone else! -

Captured our day so beautifully!
Where to begin!? We hired Kristyn to photograph our wedding at Higuera Ranch (September 2018). She absolutely amazing! She knew the venue inside and out and picked the most gorgeous spots for photos from our engagement shoot to family photos to our first look. She made everything super comfortable and nothing felt awkward or posed. I love looking back at every photo and reliving all the best parts from our special day! -

My husband and I got married in Paso Robles last Summer and choosing the right photographer was one of our highest priorities. When I came across Kristyn's website, I was immediately drawn to her style and once we chatted over the phone, I knew she was the right fit!
Our package came with an engagement shoot (which I highly suggest) and it was such a great opportunity to meet Kristyn and learn her style.
The day of our Wedding Kristyn and her 2nd shooter were so great and calm and helped us stick to our timeline.
I am so in love with our wedding and engagement photos and would highly recommend Kristen to anyone! -

We hired Kristyn for our wedding in San Luis Obispo and were completely thrilled with the decision from start to finish. Before we signed the paperwork or anything she made herself readily available to chat with us about our style and preferences and provided us with some sample wedding shoots that she had done. It was clear that she was very talented and we immediately felt comfortable talking with her about ourselves and our wedding. The engagement photo session went really well and the pictures came out amazing. She knew a bunch of great locations around the area that gave us a diverse selection of photos to share. During the wedding, Kristyn and her assistant were like ninjas, stealthily capturing all of the best moments without taking our attention way from the day. All of the photos came out amazingly and it was hard to even choose our favorites from the collection. I couldn't recommend Kristyn highly enough if you are looking for a wedding (or any occasion) photographer! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!!!
My husband and I would not have had the wedding we did with out this amazing person and photographer. From the first time we spoke it was like talking with an old friend, Kristyn makes you feel comfortable and welcome, two things my husband and I needed in a photographer as both of us were a little camera shy at first.
From that initial conversation Kristyn met the two of us for coffee and instantly jumped in to the craziness of wedding planning right along side us, offering her expertise and advice, and along the way helping us find EVERY OTHER VENDOR WE HIRED!!! Kristyn was an absolute godsend and without her the amazing team we had to help create our big day would never have been the same. On top of all that, if being an amazing person and friend wasn’t enough, she is an absolutely amazing photographer! I found Kristyn online and instantly fell in love with her style, she talked about capturing love on her website and that is 100% what we got.
Our wedding photos are amazing, I’m only a little biased, and we have Kristyn to thank for making the whole day come together. If you are looking for an amazingly talented photographer look no further. I can not say enough about how much Kristyn did for our wedding and how amazing our photos are. Book her, book her, book her!!!! -

My husband is a bit camera shy, but she really made him feel comfortable... as it definitely showed in her photos. Her personality and work ethic are top notch! She’s quick, accommodating and fast to respond. We can’t wait to work with her again in the future.

She was very flexible with the situation and was very sweet and professional the whole day. She really worked with us to get the most out of our photo budget. I got the photos back and I love them! She captured such perfect moments in a beautiful way and I am happy that these are what we will have to cherish the memories of our wedding.

Alexis Sent on 12/18/2017I can't say enough amazing things about Kristyn!!! From my first conversation with Kristyn, I knew that she would be our photographer. It was so important to my Husband and me to feel comfortable with our photographer, and I felt right at home with Kristyn from the beginning. We planned our SLO wedding from the Bay Area, so the first time we met Kristyn face to face was at our engagement photo shoot. She worked with our schedule to accommodate our traveling and was great at communicating, especially when I double booked myself for our first date and had to re-schedule. Our engagement shoot ended up being a lot of fun, which I was not expecting, and the pictures were awesome! I couldn't wait to work with Kristyn at our Wedding. Kristyn provided me with so much guidance throughout our Wedding Day, due to her experience both as a photographer and a recent Bride. While my Wedding Coordinator was making sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes, Kristyn was there to make sure I was always in the right place at the right time. At our Wedding, we didn't want to spend too much time taking photos, because we really wanted to enjoy our time with our guests, and we both felt like we achieved this on the Wedding Day. We took photos with our family and wedding party after the Ceremony, still having time to make it to Cocktail hour, and then snuck away during dinner to have a sunset photo shoot. Kristyn was able to pack so many photos into such short periods- I couldn't believe how many beautiful pictures we ended up with! She listened to us and made sure that we had the Wedding that we envisioned, while also making sure that she could capture all the memories that we would want to look back on. We can't recommend Kristyn enough!
