We hired Kristin as our Day of Coordinator and it was the best decision we made. She went above and beyond with her services by really getting to know us and offering expert advice throughout the planning process—not just on the day. Her hard work, positive energy, and attention to detail allowed us to enjoy this special time in our lives to the fullest. We can't thank her enough!-

An amazing experience!
Kristin was awesome to work with! My wife and I had a lot of coordination with guests coming from out of town and guests coming from all over the country. On top of that, we decided to do a cross country move a few months before our wedding. Even with all of that, we were able to enjoy our day with no stress over the details on the day of with the incredible help and detail that Kristin provided. She made our Newport wedding a day we will never forget! -

I cannot say enough great things about Kristin and her team! As our “day of” coordinator, Kristin went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed. From the moment she arrived, she brought a sense of calm, organization, and professionalism that immediately put us at ease.
Her attention to detail was impeccable- she managed timelines, vendors, decor, and all the behind the scenes logistics with such care and precision. If anything came up, I never knew about it because Kristin handled it all seamlessly. She truly allowed us to be present and enjoy every moment of our day without stress.
Kristin and her team were kind, efficient, and incredibly professional from start to finish. I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her. If you’re planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and hire Kristin - you’ll be SO grateful you did!

Best decision I made when planning my wedding
Literally what CAN'T this woman do? Hiring Kristen Nicole Events was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. As a type A bride (who also didn't care about a lot of wedding decisions), I needed someone I could trust to take over when things started rolling. Kristen Nicole was so knowledgeable, communicative, and flexible she made the whole process so easy. 10/10, highly recommend! -

We absolutely loved working with Kristin- she is truly the best! Incredibly knowledgeable, organized, calming, and thoughtful, Kristin made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. She executed every detail exactly as we envisioned and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free.
From start to finish, Kristin was responsive and available whenever we needed her — whether by text, email, or phone. As two very detail-oriented people, my husband and I thought we had everything covered, but Kristin took it to another level. Thanks to her, we were able to fully enjoy our day without any pressure or last-minute worries.

A perfect day!
From the moment I reached out to Kristen to inquire about her services she was awesome! So helpful, easy to talk to and just made everything a breeze. Her prices are worth every penny! With the total amount of money put into the wedding, she was worth the additional cost of having a personal wedding coordinator to make sure all the money spent went the way we wanted it. Our day was PERFECT! Everything went so smoothly and so many guests told us how great of a time they had!
Our venue included a wedding coordinator, but I’m glad my gut told me to hire Kristen because from the day we booked our venue till the day we got married (2 years) our venue coordinator changed 3 times, the 2nd one quit 2 months before our wedding and I had no clue until I reached out and got a response from a new person. So all the conversations I had with the last two weren’t fully tied in with the new person, it didn’t feel personal to us and kind of last minute. But because I had Kristin and her team, it went seamlessly! I wasn’t stressed about a thing!
Kristin also captured some pictures and video through the day so I had some pictures to see and post the next day!
We were so grateful for Kristin and her team for being a big part of making our wedding day so special! We highly recommend her and her team! -

The Towers - 08-31-2024
My fiancé (now wife) Amy and I live in Washington, DC and made the decision to get married in Rhode Island. We both agreed that if we were going to do it right, we needed to find a wedding planner to not only help us find a venue, but to help with the madness of planning a wedding remotely. After speaking with several RI based planners, we are so lucky and happy to have found and selected Kristin Nicole Events. From our first telephone call with Kristin, we both knew we had our partner. Kristin not only made the process much easier, but she also took the time to help Amy and I with our first dance. Thanks to Kristin our Wedding Day was simply amazing, beautiful, and perfect. Best day ever
We just got married last month and we had the most amazing wedding day which I attribute to all of Kristin’s hard work. I thought I could plan a wedding but soon became overwhelmed with all the things I didn’t know. From the minute I called Kristin all of my stress was gone. She was on all of the planning calls, asking questions I never thought of asking. Any problems that came up Kristin handled without needing my involvement. My entire wedding party loved Kristin and her dedication to making this such a special day of us. She coordinated with the vendors and had my bridesmaid’s number to run last minute decisions by her so I had absolutely no stress on my wedding day. I didn’t have a specific vision on my decor and gave Kristin creative freedom with the stuff I bought. She made everything look so much better than I could have ever done myself. If anybody is questioning if they need a wedding planner please call Kristin and use her services!!! She is worth so much more than the money you will spend on her! -

There’s not enough room to say all the fabulous things about Kristin and her team. They executed and exceeded my expectations for our wedding. Kristin is always available via call or text 24/7 and made us feel like we were her only priority. Seriously the Best!
Kristen and her team are the best! We hired them for our Newport wedding at Rosecliff Mansion, which was the best decision we could have made. This was a destination wedding for us and Kristen made the whole experience less stressful. She was so easy to reach whenever we had questions and gave us great suggestions. When one of our vendors let us know a few weeks before our wedding that one of the things we had planned they weren’t able to do anymore, Kristen came to the rescue and found us someone who could. She made sure everything looked perfect and ran smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing and were able to enjoy our wedding day. Kristen and her team helped make our fairytale wedding a reality and we couldn’t be more grateful! I 100% recommend Kristen and her team!-

the single best decision we made for our wedding
Wow, where do I even start. From the very first email/contact to hugging goodbye after our perfect wedding day, Kristin was incredibly professional and fun to work with. She singlehandedly made my wedding day a space of zen instead of stress. She handled ALL of the communications with our vendors the week leading up the wedding weekend and made sure that all of our t's were crossed and our i's were dotted. She has such a wealth of knowledge and experience, things that seemed like the end of the world to me were NBD to her and she was able to reassure me quickly and provide a solution. Our ceremony venue only had seating for 60 people but we had 75 RSVP'd "yes"es. This somehow was completely fine and I didn't even notice!! Her and her team also snapped some pictures during the ceremony that ended up being the only shots we had to look at on our honeymoon- needless to say Kristin made our wedding 10000x better by being a part of it. 15/10 recommend her for day-of coordination. -

Cannot say enough good things about Kristin!
My husband and I believe booking Kristin was one of the best decisions we made for our October ‘23 wedding! We were on the fence about hiring a month/ day of wedding planner since we had 2 coordinators through our venue - but she was well worth it. Kristin is a wedding pro and we were extremely impressed with her organization and attention to detail. She came to our last walk through at the venue and helped run our rehearsal. I truly believe I was more relaxed on my wedding day because I knew Kristin was on top of everything! -

Beyond our expectations!
We are so lucky to have worked with Kristin and her team as our 'Day Of Coordinator'. A couple of months before the wedding, I went into instant panic mode on how to go about organizing the day and all of the elements, vendors, and timelines. After our first call, I had biggest sigh of relief! She answered all our questions and joined all final calls leading up to the big day, ensuring we were covered on all fronts. Beach wedding
Kristin was my wedding planner/coordinator and she did a fantastic job. She helped me in the planning process to make big decisions, and is very flexible and open to ideas and worked very well with the other vendors. Stress Free
If you’re having thoughts about hiring a wedding planning, stop thinking and hire Kristin and her team IMMEDIATELY! We started working together from the day I got engaged and she checked in with me to make sure I was on track throughout the whole year and if I needed help with anything she was right by my side, day or night. She helped me with EVERYTHING and made wedding planning as stress free as possible. She helped me construct a timeline of events, she gave me recommendations when I asked, she made sure the day of everything was in place, and even helped me transport my wedding cake to the venue. My husband and I decided to do a first look before the wedding and she even reached out to my photographer and made sure that everything was going to be perfect and flawless. Kristin Nicole Events is truly a blessing and if I had to replan my wedding again, she would be the first person I hired. She will reach out to anyone you hire and do the planning and talking for you. She will calm you down when you go bridezilla and start panicking the night before your wedding. There is a reason she has won so many awards in her area of expertise, so don’t think twice about hiring her!!!

I am so, so happy we worked with Kristin and her team for our wedding at Newport Harbor Island Resort on 10/1/22! Kristin was always on top of everything and was extremely responsive whenever any question or thought came up that I needed advice on. The BEST Wedding decision we made!
Hiring Kristin and her team was the best decision we could have ever made. I normally plan everything with ease but while planning our wedding I was in graduate school, my husband and I had just gotten our 8 week old golden retriever and suddenly I needed help!! I realized while I’m normally a planner and well organized... the world of weddings was overwhelming me while I tried balancing school life and all the rest. We hired Kristin and suddenly wedding planning became fun again! She gave us the best recommendations for vendors and was our guide through everything. THEN Covid hit! Simply put... she supported us through having to replan most of our wedding including changing our entire venue. She made everything OK and kept us so excited for our new big day. AND THEN the day of! As I was waiting to head to the Chapel for our ceremony...I looked to Tracie and Kristin and said “wow, I don’t know how anyone gets married without you”. And I meant it!! From communicating information to our family members, to grabbing things I forgot in my room, to fixing my dress because it broke!! They had my husband and I covered. Don’t hesitate. Even if you are a well-organized planner yourself... life happens and you will be glad you have Kristin on your side. -

Amazing - the most perfect day!
We had initially not planned on hiring an event planner/coordinator as the venue that we were getting married at included a day-of-coordinator as a part of the package. Due to COVID our venue had let a lot of the event team go, and it was apparent that the person helping to coordinate our wedding was spread too thin. We decided a few months before our wedding to hire a day-of-coordinator in order to supplement the coordination at our venue and we are SO glad that we did. Kristin really got involved about a month before our wedding and talked through our vision, timeline, vendors with us and asked a number of questions to make sure that we weren't missing any major details. She also asked us about what mattered most to us about the day which is how we determined the appropriate timeline (and ensured enough time on the dance floor for everyone!). Kristin was readily available to answer any questions that we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding and also reached out to all of our vendors to make sure that everyone had the appropriate timeline/ location/ information in the days before the wedding. It honestly made the weeks before the wedding so stress-free for us to not have to worry about any of these details and we knew we were in good hands.
Kristin was there for the rehearsal and really stepped up to run the show and organize the whole process (even more so than the coordinator at the event). She was especially helpful dealing with the young flower girls/ring bearers and determining the best place for them to come in from to avoid a super long walk/ minimize stage fright. The whole process was quick and painless and we were confident going into the wedding that everyone knew what they were doing.
On the day of the wedding, Kristin was amazing. She was literally everywhere helping with every component of the wedding. She helped organize the wedding party for pictures, made sure that all of the vendors were there and had what they needed to set up, and sent pictures of the reception room so that I could see them as I was getting ready. She also took all of the phones/ bags/ shawls from the wedding party to put into our bridal suite so that nobody had to worry about their belongings. The whole day from getting ready, to the group pictures, an the reception went so smoothly that if there were any issues, I had no idea about them. Additionally, she kept the reception speeches/ cake cutting, etc. moving along so that we could all enjoy the band on the dance floor for a full two hours. She also took a million pictures throughout the day that she sent us the next morning (which was amazing, because we still haven't received our professional pictures yet, so they're currently the only ones we have) so we were able to relive the day.
The day after the wedding, it was clear that Kristin was a standout to everyone as she was mentioned as a star by everyone that was in the wedding party. I cannot say enough nice things about Kristin, she was so organized, efficient, and fun to hang out with and kept everyone relaxed for the day. We weren't sure if we wanted to spend money on something that was supposed to be included in our package but it was definitely worth every penny and we are so glad that we did. -

Everything and Anything
Stop me if you have heard this one before: ‘Planning a wedding is stressful. Planing a wedding and then having it moved multiple times (during Covid) is a nightmare.’ Kristin and her team turned a nightmare of planning into a dream day that went off without any hitch. From the moment we met Kristin, we instantly felt at ease and knew that all our worries would be taken care of. She was professional, went above and beyond, and was very fun to be around. Outside of the regular wedding day duties (setup, vendor communication, wedding party instructions, etc), her team did everything and anything - ranging from being in rain gear (it was a monsoon most of the day), driving us to the first look photos, taking video of the ceremony and some of the best photos we ended up with! The above are just a few examples (there were numerous) of things that were outside of what the expected offering … but after working with Kristin, it is no surprise that ‘expected’ is just the starting line for her team when ensuring the bride and groom can have the wedding they envisioned (and even more). When she says ‘I am here for anything you need’, you can be confident that she will deliver. Nothing shakes Kristin and her team … and they have fun while doing it. We are forever thankful that they were there for us and helped us have the best wedding day ever. Kristin and her team were a game changer for our wedding and I couldn’t be happy that we hired them. Best money we spent for the wedding. We initially hired her as a day of coordinator but she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process with vendor recommendations and other suggestions. As for the day of, it could not have gone any smoother. She was on top of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. Her team helped with the set up and breakdown of the event and left the venue spotless when the party was over. My husband and I could not recommend Kristin and her team enough! Incredible Wedding Planning Partner
Kristin and her team were incredible to work with. We hired her as a month-of coordinator, but she was helpful throughout our planning process - quickly answering questions via text, giving us advice, and making sure we were ready for our big day! Our wedding day fairy godmother!
I don't know what I would've done without Kristin on my wedding day!!! We hired her as our day-of coordinator, but she stepped in the week before (right when my head was about to explode) and took everything over! I was able to sleep the week and night before the wedding knowing if there were any issues - Kristin would handle it! She called all of our vendors to confirm timing and details, and was so responsive to our phone calls and text messages any time of day. When I finally met her - I gave her a big hug because she relieved all of the stress I was having weeks leading up to the wedding. She was so organized and helpful at our ceremony rehearsal. She was gentle yet assertive - keeping us on track but letting us have our moments of laughter, cries, and fun. On the wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a thing. I felt like Kristin knew what I was thinking before I was even thinking it, like making little adjustments to the decor tables. She even came in to help bustle my dress so I could get out and enjoy cocktail hour quicker! We made a last minute change to who was giving speeches, and Kristin promised she wouldn't leave until she knew the DJ was certain of the change. She literally took care of everything and we could not be more grateful. If you're hesitant about hiring a coordinator - stop thinking about it and hire Kristin you will not regret it!!!! Amazing work!
We were planning our Rhode Island wedding from California and they were super flexible with the timing and very responsive even though we had a 3 hour time difference. My wedding day turned out beautifully, even more beautiful than I had envisioned. Kristin and Skie helped to ease our stress going up to our big day. Skie was amazing as our wedding planner on our wedding day and kept things moving along on schedule, coordinating with our DJ and the venue and making sure our decor was what we had envisioned and more. Simply the best
When I first started planning my wedding (pre-covid) I was quite certain I could handle everything on my own. Sadly, tragedy struck my family with the sudden death of a loved one 5 months before our big day, and my mom and I knew we couldn't handle it anymore. I did some research about local wedding planners in Rhode Island and came across Kristin's website. BOY am I glad that I did. Kristin singlehandedly got us excited for our wedding again and I knew hiring her was going to be one of the best decisions we could ever make. Things got even more interesting when or venue cancelled on us 3 months before our date, but this is where Kristin really shined. Re-plan a wedding and find a new venue in under 3 months? NO PROBLEM! Not only did she find us a new venue on a June Saturday in Newport, but it ended up being the best place we could ever imagine (the landing). Kristin is professional, personal, down to earth, and most importantly - calm and level headed. She had our backs from the moment we called her and answered texts all hours of the night (even when she was on vacation!) She and her amazing team filmed our ceremony for us and drove all of our stuff from the venue to our air bnb at the end of the night so that we didn’t have to worry about it. Just absolutely above and beyond. My family is forever grateful to her for keeping us sane and planning the best wedding ever. THANK YOU KRISTIN!!-

Since the first time I spoke to Kristin I knew that she would do anything to help make our dream wedding come true. From sending her text messages with random questions to the site visit, Kristin was there every step of the way with constant communication and making me feel at ease with everything. Hire Her & Don't Look Back
Don't even think twice, it's the best decision we made for our wedding. Originally we were considering a day of coordinator, with larger families, bridal party and navigating around Newport it seemed like it could be helpful. Then the realities of COVID become clear - no venue has a clear stance on the 'rules' and every venue and vendor can approach the situation differently. Kristin guided us throughout the entire month before our wedding - she was so quick to respond to any text, email, DM, call, at any time. She helped make clear and executable plans with us so that going into each venue (rehearsal dinner, reception, church, even the trolley) we had clear expectations and a way to handle obstacles. We also came up with creative solutions so that our wedding was able to appeal to both our guests that were ready to party and those that were being cautious. Kristin is organized, meticulous and just generally able to get sh*t done no matter what. Not only has she handled many many weddings before and knows about all the right questions to ask (think weekend-of packing list) - she's also now handled a ton of COVID weddings and knows the ropes. Her pricing is super reasonable considering all of the peace of mind she gave us - I literally just gave everyone Kristin's number and let her do her thing. Not to mention she has an amazing assistant, Tracie, who aided her through navigating a wedding I wasn't sure was going to be possible. Hire them and don't look back! -

Kristin from Kristin Nicole Events was phenomenal, and far exceeded any of our expectations! We hired her to coordinate our wedding once we already had our venue and vendors booked. We thought we could pull off our almost entirely DIY wedding on our own, but quickly got very overwhelmed by all the planning and Kristin stepped in just at the right time. As a wedding planner, Kristin did all that was expected and even more. She always made herself available and was on top of everything and so detail oriented which I loved!! If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would of had the wedding of my dreams. Her professionalism and ability to work with other people is very impressive, she truly knows what she's doing! She was also extremely patient with my indecisiveness and how I changed my mind on more than a few occasions. She was always willing to give her knowledgeable and honest opinion and I seriously could not have done this without her. Kristin honestly made my wedding day absolutely flawless. She was my peace of mind, my confidant, my advocate, and my go to lady through the planning process, but the work she did for me at my wedding was top notch. Amazing- highly recommend
We cannot thank Kristin, Erika and Abby enough! They were AMAZING, I cannot imagine our wedding day having gone smoothly if they had not been a part of it. They helped us stay on time (and I had no idea as a bride that you have absolutely no concept of time!) and dealt with any issues that arose. They dealt with everything from the air conditioner breaking at our venue, to slipping my flats under my sweetheart table so I could switch when I wanted.

Kristin was so unbelievably amazing to work with. From the start of my planning, she was there every step of the way. She went above and beyond to meet with me around my schedule. She connected me with an affordable vendor for pipe and drape and she communicated with the vendor for me from the initial meeting until the big day. When I realized my caterer did not provide coordination at the church for the ceremony, Kristin quickly and confidently offered her services and she did not disappoint. Our rehearsal was going terribly with a deacon who would not allow for us to walk down in the order I wanted to, wanted my husband to hide in a room until I got to the altar. Stress free wedding
Kristin and her team made what I pictured in my head a reality. From the first time I met with her, I knew that I had picked the person who would make the most important day of my life exactly what I wanted. I had no clue what was going on and they took the lead to make sure that when it came time for the real thing we were ready. On the day of my wedding, I had nothing to worry about. I did not have to take care of anything at the venue and was able to just show up ready for the ceremony. Through the setup process, she sent pictures to make sure everything was perfect and exactly what I had pictured. In fact, it was better than I had pictured. I loved everything when I first walked into the reception space inside and saw the ceremony space outside. Through the whole day, Kristin and her team checked in with me and kept everything on track. Then at the end, everything was cleaned up without me having to do a thing. Every bride deserves a wedding day with that little stress. There is no way I could have pulled off my wedding without them. I would recommend that every bride use Kristin and her team to make their day perfect. -

Say i do to kne events!
I had the pleasure to work beside Kristin at Skyline in Providence, RI. I was truly awed by Kristin's professionalism and how efficiently she went about the planning process and setting up the venue the day of the wedding. I would have been overwhelmed by the numerous details but Kristin adeptly navigated the arrangement of everything exactly the way the bride asked. I could not get over the notes that Kristin had compiled and she was not satisfied until she had double checked everything at least four times. She is not only concerned with the aesthetics of the wedding but also the well being of the bride and groom. I swear there was two of her. One minute she's making sure candles and flowers are perfectly placed and the next she's asking the bride and groom if they're hungry and would like a quiet private moment before joining their guests. She then rushed off and came back with iced water and plates of food for them. Kristin is a combination of cool finesse and fun. And when I say I worked beside Kristin that's exactly what I did. Not once did I feel like her employee but her equal even though I had no experience in this area. Sometimes there are unforeseen snags and this night was no exception but not once did Kristin get flustered. She's like Tim Gunn..."Make it Work" and she always did. I learned a lot from her and came away inspired. I was never the girl that dreamed about her big day but after seeing the venue and how Kristin transformed it, I was ready to walk down the aisle. -

Couldn't have done it without Kristin!!!
There is no way our day would have gone as smoothly as it did without the help of the amazing Kristin Nicole Events! From the day we met her until the day of our event she was extremely available to us for anything we needed and took the time to iron out our timeline and connect with all of our vendors in advance of our wedding! She was so helpful in making our vision a reality and took the time to help us set up our venue exactly the way we wanted. One of the anxieties that came along with choosing a venue that did not come built-in with catering, bartending, etc. was that we would have trouble making sure everyone and everything came together as planned on the day of and Kristin completely saved us and eased that anxiety. I did not have one single worry about how things were supposed to go on our day because of Kristin. She even helped us to record our entire ceremony/reception with a video camera I bought from Amazon because we could not work a videographer into our budget. I am so incredibly grateful that we now have our wedding on film thanks to her effort. Her time and hard work is so sincerely appreciated. -

Kristin was so patient with me and understood exactly what I wanted (and needed) for my wedding! She took all the stress out of planning my wedding and helped me stay within my budget. If it wasn’t for Kristin I might have lost my mind throughout the process of planning my wedding! she was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and everything was beyond what I expected when it came to my big day! she was so helpful throughout and kept us informed and updated on anything and everything we needed, and worked so amazingly with my other vendors, and when people arrived I could just enjoy my night and I didn’t have to work at any point throughout the night! Hi. We were introduced to Kristin through a family friend and my wife and I loved her. It seemed like every day my wife got a new idea from her that she loved and we used them all in our wedding. A Smooth and Thoughtful Experience from Start to Finish
We planned our wedding from out of town, and Kristen met every expectation we had for a smooth, well-organized day. She handled all our shipped décor items and even offered to return the unused ones to Amazon, which saved us time and stress.
She also prepped and coached our officiant—a family member with no prior experience—so that he felt comfortable and confident leading the ceremony. That guidance made a big difference and helped set the right tone for the day.
Since I was getting ready offsite, her assistant made sure my veil got to the venue and even brought my wedding dress back to the hotel afterward, which meant I didn’t have to worry about packing up at the end of the night.
Right before the reception, she noticed the uplighting didn’t match the mood I had envisioned and quickly worked with the DJ to adjust it. She was spot on, and I really appreciated her awareness and communication in that moment.
Everything ran smoothly, and we truly felt supported from beginning to end. -

Best decision ever
Kristin & team far exceeded our expectations and our wedding day would have been a MESS without them. Kristin made sure every detail was perfect, checked in with every vendor, took so many pictures and videos, made sure everything stayed on schedule, helped with any last minute details/changes, ALL without interrupting the beauty and happiness that the wedding day should really be about. When I first started planning my wedding I was certain I didn’t need a wedding planner or coordinator, I mean a year and a half is plenty of time to plan a wedding, right? About six months out from the wedding I decided to explore the idea of a day of coordinator since our venue did involve a lot of moving parts. Hiring Kristin was the smartest thing I could’ve done. Made the day run so smoothly
We hired Kristin Nicole Events as a day-of coordinator for our 9/21/2019 wedding. After some initial conversations, Kristin's schedule changed and she personally could not provide this service to us, but she was happy to offer us the service of one of her employees. In the end, we had two employees, Abby and Ely, who did a fantastic job! Both showed up at our rehearsal to walk through the ceremony and schedule with us. Abby remembered every little detail and communicated with all of our vendors on the day of our wedding so that we didn't need to worry about anything. If you're contemplating hiring a day-of coordinator, DO IT! -

Very Unprofessional
I was very disappointed with my experience with Kristin. I hired her for day of coordination for my wedding. We didn't need much assistance planning but I just wanted someone there on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly between my vendors, since everyone made sure to tell me that the coordinators assigned to you by your venue work for the venue not for you. We had a couple of phone calls and went over all the decor details, who my vendors were, all the info on timelines for the venue and any questions she had, etc. I CC'd her on my final worksheets for the venue which had all my vendors, bridal party , detailed decor list etc. As explained in her contract, we were due to meet for the first time in person on the day of my rehearsal. A few hours before my rehearsal she texted me that she couldn't make it to my rehearsal because of parent teacher conference and that she was sending one of her lead planners in her place. The lead planner that was sent knew absolutely nothing about the details of the event. At one point she asked me who my DJ was, said that she was familiar with her and then started talking poorly about her- saying she's known for being late. She also brought her child with her to the meeting, who sat with us at the table with the venue coordinator, who I was also meeting for the first time, to go over every detailed planned over the last year. She listed to all the details I went over with the venue coordinator and took notes on her notes app on her phone. It felt like there was really no point in continuing with services with her, as I spent more time in my meeting answering her questions to catch her up to speed than asking my own questions I had for the venue coordinator. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional. I left my rehearsal so frustrated that we ended up cancelling services with Kristin for the day of the wedding, even though it meant we would loose out on money we already paid her. -
