  Kristen is top-notich!

  Kristen was amazing to work with. From start to finish she was not only kind and attentive, but fun too! Kristen could not have been a better fit for our wedding and the photographs were all that we had hoped for.

  Worth every Penny

  We had no idea what to expect from a photographer. At first I thought any one could take our wedding pictures, then I was referred to Kristen and realized that photographers come in may shapes and sizes. Picking one is actually as important as any of your other wedding decisions. Frankly the pictures are what you will have left to reflect upon and share. We are sooooo glad we picked wisely!

  We had no idea what to expect from a photographer. At first I thought any one could take our wedding pictures, then I was referred to Kristen and realized that photographers come in may shapes and sizes. Picking one is actually as important as any of your other wedding decisions. Frankly the pictures are what you will have left to reflect upon and share. We are sooooo glad we picked wisely!

  A pleasure to work with and beautiful photos!

  Kristen's photography perfectly captured the spirit of our wedding day. Each shot felt beautiful, romantic, thoughtful and fun. Her creativity & skill resulted in a collection of absolutely stunning photos I find myself revisiting constantly. She executed a long list of photo-groupings brilliantly, and made sure we had time to capture bride-and-groom photos at a third location that day. She was professional, patient, and a total delight to work with both in the planning stages and throughout our wedding day.

  Kristen is the best!

  Kristen photographed our wedding and she was amazing. Not only were the photos great (not cheesy) and the price reasonable, she also brought a great artistic eye (she works in digital and film formats, which is what we were looking for) and attention to detail. More than that, she was relaxed and made us calm in a maybe not so calm situation. She was easy to work with, always got back to me, and answered every question I had. Book her (and book her quick!) and you will be very glad you did!

  Wonderful wedding photographer

  
  Kristen photographed our August 2015 wedding at the Asian Art Museum.
  
  Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was one of our most important decisions, since the photos were so important to us. We found Kristen through a referral from a different photographer we had reached out to but was already booked. Thank goodness Kristen followed up with us!
  
  A few things set her apart from the other photographers that we had met:
  1. We were impressed by her portfolio. She is able to handle lighting both indoors an outdoors. In addition, she is able to capture beautiful portraits and candids. They are classic and timeless -- no gimmicks.
  2. She photographs in both digital and film. This was really important not only for the aesthetics of film (softer and richer), but also because with film, one has to be more purposeful with the shots that are taken.
  3. Kristen's personality and demeanor as a photographer is kind, encouraging and easy going. My husband and I were mentally prepared for a full day of photos, but we were looking for a photographer who would be able to corral and motivate our families to feel comfortable enough to take photos the entire day.
  4. She had experience at our venue (Asian Art Museum). This was really key as we wanted to have someone familiar with the space who could bring her own ideas and also adapt very quickly.
  
  As far as the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of, Kristen was so easy to work with. She was on top of coordinating with our venue, worked closely with us on our timeline and was receptive to our extensive shot list.
  
  On the day of, she and her assistant showed up on time, gathered our families and friends for dozens of portraits, and made us feel so at ease the entire day. Also, Kristen was game to climb a ladder to the roof to help us take some of our favorite portraits from the day.
  
  Kristen was able to get us our photos in a timely manner (MUCH sooner than we thought we'd get them). We were expecting to have a good dozen or so photos that we would love. Once we got them, we were blown away. She captured all of the key moments and more from our wedding. We can't thank her (and D'Arcy) enough for all of the photos and memories.

  My Mom's Wedding in Beautiful Carmel

  Kristen’s photography speaks for itself. Her eye for capturing powerful moments and the minute details is a unique gift. The final album she created of my mom’s wedding was simply stunning. Somehow, she was able to catch everyone at their best, despite how battered we all were by a rainy and blustery day on the beach. What people wouldn’t know until they’ve worked with her is that the nature of her character is as beautiful as her art. My mom’s wedding was unique in that there were only 10 of us in total. It would’ve been incredibly easy for someone outside of our small and tight-knit family circle to impede on the intimacy of the event. However, there wasn’t a single awkward moment with Kristen, not only was she great at knowing the appropriate times to step in and out, but she felt like part of the family by the end of the day. It was such a blessing to have Kristen photograph my mom’s wedding. It wouldn’t have been the same without her.
