Absolute dream
Knotting Hills was an absolute dream!! Not only are the facilities gorgeous, but the service was fantastic. Our coordinator Kaelee was excellent and was extremely helpful the day of and during the entire planning process. She took care of everything to make sure that we had the best day. After the ceremony was over, she had our signature cocktails and cocktail hour snacks waiting for us. The staff was also extremely helpful in helping my family set up and break down the reception area so that my husband and I could enjoy our night and not worry about a thing. We rented out the big house for ourselves and our bridal party the night of and it was super convenient and a great way to keep the party going. Highly highly recommend Knotting Hills and I could not imagine a more perfect place for our wedding! -

Forrest/Pfeiffer wedding
I had the wedding of my dreams last month and I can’t stop thinking about it. Kaelee was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She helped us out the entire day/ evening and made sure we were okay the whole day and night. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding. Thank you Knotting Hills!❤️ -

You'll be hard pressed to find a venue that is anywhere close to comparable with Knotting Hills within 40 minutes of downtown St. Louis!! It is absolutely gorgeous and I can't think of any ways they could even improve it! They provided all of the tables, chairs and decorations I needed which kept my floral budget well under $1K, and having the Ezra houses available for rent was so nice- many of us stayed on the property after the reception and partied into the night without worries of how to drive home or expensive Uber trips. I loved doing photos, the ceremony and the reception all in the same place so i didn't have to waste time on my wedding day crawling in and out of shuttles and limos. So worth it!! -

This was a breathtaking venue for my Sons wedding. From start to finish there was not one single problem. My ENTIRE group of attendees raved about how beautiful it was. I would give it ten stars and a AAAAA rating. -

Incredible!!
Wow! What a place! Book it now/ don’t even think twice!
We have had such a wonderful experience with my daughter and son in laws wedding. Katy and Michelle are so kind and great to work with. The staff is phenomenal. The venue is BEAUTIFUL!
We booked it before it was finished and we were blown away with each additional added feature. Just a magical place!
We experienced it in full- using the main house was perfect and so nice to be on site, so much more relaxing than a hotel. It was great to have a home base with family and friends who also stayed there. With it being just steps away from the grooms quarters many hours were spent in the pool and arcade. So much fun!
The bridal suite it so beautiful and has great functionality for stylists and great backdrops for photographers. Absolutely perfect!
Having the golf cart to move about the property was a great plus!
I can say without a doubt that my daughter’s wedding was perfect and I can’t thank Knotting Hills enough for helping make it be everything that my daughter and son in law had every dreamt of❤️❤️ -

The venue was absolutely stunning! You get the entire grounds for the whole day, and it did not disappoint! The bridal suite and groom’s quarters are SO FUN and beautiful, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful! We were their very first wedding and have no regrets choosing Knotting Hills! -

We had an amazing time at this beautiful venue. It rained all day on our wedding day, Knotting Hills had clear umbrellas for all of us and were very flexible to help make our day social. The only negative was some guests were going to the wrong venue because there are 2. We were at the main venue. Other than that, it was very nice. -

Madison Sent on 09/25/2025A dream in photos, a mess behind the scenes
While the venue was visually stunning and made for gorgeous photos, the management was a nightmare. Communication was poor, staff were unresponsive and unnecessarily difficult, and we weren’t allowed to lock the doors of the houses we rented—leaving our belongings vulnerable. Several items haven’t been found, including $500 prescription glasses, my bridal perfume and an invaluable ornament received as a gift. Shortly after checking out, I remembered I left our ornament hanging in the honeymoon suite. My parents turned around, returned, and found the suite had already been cleaned and were told nothing was found by the cleaning crew and management.
After posting a review on The Knot, I got an immediate email offering an empty promise to look around for specific items that morning. I was informed that they make a list of all items left behind, but they didn’t provide me with this list or a single thing found (60+ people stayed at 6 on-site houses we rented). Unsurprisingly, I haven’t heard back despite multiple follow-up emails. They made many parts of the process harder than necessary—rushing us out of the bridal suite before the ceremony, refusing to remove extra tables, delaying chair setup for private vows, shutting a reception garage door for no reason, and more. Not a single staff member checked on us, the bride and groom, that day.
Thankfully, our bar and catering vendors (Champagne Wishes and Hendri’s) were incredibly kind and attentive. I wish I could say the same for Knotting Hills. This is truly a beautiful venue with such amazing amenities which is why I didn’t think
the management and communication issues that started promptly after paying our deposit would have that much of an impact on our day, but it did. I cannot recommend this venue to couples who value respect, communication, security, and more than the ‘bare-minimum attitude.’ The venue itself is a dream—elegant, romantic, and visually unforgettable—which makes it all the more disappointing that the staff consistently fail to show care, respect, or any willingness to grow from feedback.
