We were so fortunate to have a photographer who cared about us like Jenna at KLV did. We have left reviews for them everywhere we can. They anchored us the entire day. We got every shot we asked for. Our wedding photos give us the joy of our day over and over again. They captured us and all the love of that day completely. We can not recommend them enough. -

Our entire experience with KLV from wedding planning to engagement photoshoot, to the actual wedding day was just perfect. From wedding planning and just inquiring via email, you can just tell and feel that Meg is a genuine, down to earth person through her thorough, thoughtful, and honest responses. At our engagement photoshoot, we met Kevin and Sean who also shot our wedding. Our engagement photoshoot was very smooth - we were a bit awkward but Kevin directed us to ensure great poses/photos. We were blown away by the results of our engagement photoshoot when we received the photos just 2 weeks later. All of our friends and family were extremely impressed and mentioned that they were the best engagement photos they’ve ever seen and that they belong in a magazine. On our wedding day, Kevin and Sean made sure to arrive with plenty of time in the morning for our getting ready and first look photos. We did not have to remind them to grab our outfits, accessories, shoes, and stationery to shoot them - they grabbed them on their own and shot them while we got ready for our big day. Our wedding photos came within 1 month which is amazing turnaround time for soo many edited photos. We definitely were not expecting that many photos but we are grateful and glad to have them all. We love our wedding photos so much and can’t wait to share with family and friends, make a photo album, and look back at them years from now. Thank you Meg, Kevin, and Sean for such an incredible experience. Our wedding photography was one of our top priorities and you delivered above and beyond anything we could have imagined for our special day. -

Believe the reviews! I found this photographer through Yelp, and they caught my eyes because of their numerous, highly rated reviews. We decided to test them out with our engagement session. We worked with Kevin - he was a fun, genuine, warm guy that made you feel at ease with the camera. (Btw, I am super shy with cameras)! Kevin definitely has an artistic eye, and we were impressed by how some of the photos beautifully came out! We had a few opinions we wanted to share, and he made himself totally available to also hear our thoughts. Kevin is definitely talented and knows the right angles, lighting, and views to which to take the shots - but he was also remarkable in how approachable, down-to-earth, personable he was as a photographer. We definitely felt like he was a good friend who took the best shots to capture your special day. Thank you so much Kevin! We had so much fun working with you, and appreciate the beautiful shots you took for us to help remember our special day! -

Outstanding Quality, Responsive and Professional
Another wedding vendor had recommended Kevin and the KLV team to my wife. We checked out their website and loved that there were so many examples of their high quality work. Once we actually started working with them, we were even more impressed with how they were always prompt, organized, accommodating, and willing to answer any question we had.
Everything went so smoothly and we now have thousands of images that we will cherish for a lifetime. We are so grateful we chose KLV Photography to capture our engagement photos and wedding day.

Dream Team! Responsive & Professional and Quality!
I took a leap of faith and booked KLV Photography, strictly based on their online reviews and profile. And I'm SO HAPPY that I did! They were very responsive and all my questions were answered quickly. My photographer for the day was Jenna! And she was so professional but yet so easy to work with! She made everyone felt at ease and she has the eyes for all the COOL SHOTS! And she thought of everything!
Once i received the photos, I literally cried! Not one bad pictures and she caught every moment during the reception that I didn't know. I was so lovely to relive the night through those photos.
And Yup! I rebooked her for my sister's maternity session. And again, she absolutely killed it! Can't wait to book her again! -

Kevin and his full team were very professional from the beginning until the end. They did our engagement and wedding photos. The team gave us great recommendations on where to take our pictures and had a game plan for everything. It took a lot of stress off of us on our big day. The pictures are amazing and the customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend using KLV. -

Professionalism and quality at its finest.
Planning a wedding around a pandemic has been difficult, we faced challenges around every turn. Seemed like every month, we’ve always had some issues to worry about (venue cancellation, record wildfires, etc.). We were glad to have the KLV Photography team on our side. For us, we worked with Kevin and Bryan as our photographer. The team’s professionalism helped ease our anxieties. We started out with an all-inclusive venue and ended with a DIY, intimate, destination wedding. We relied heavily on the team’s experience and advice. Their knowledge of the field helped shaped our very customed timeline. Plans were changing drastically minutes leading up to the ceremony, and Kevin helped us adapt to the changing conditions every step of the way.
We are definitely the camera-shy type. And we’ll be honest, we went in thinking that our photos were going to be questionable. It’s not photographer’s fault, it’s our own flaws. But the photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the result; they are indeed an expert of their art. Throughout the process, the team would check on lighting conditions and surrounding foliage to ensure that our photos were the best that they could be. Our engagement photos would have been filled with unsightly brown hills if it weren’t for their proactive approach.
On the business side, the team was very responsive. Meg was quick to respond to our requests. We ended up overhauling the wedding a couple of times, and Meg was there every step of the way. We received our engagement photos in a about a week and our wedding photos within a month.
We went in knowing that we were not going to skimp on the photographer. For us, that money was well spent. The KLV team’s experience, professionalism, expertise, and optimism is well worth the price we paid. We would highly recommend KLV Photography to anyone.

Kevin is an expert as his craft and the LeVu’s have been in wedding photography for over 10 years! Yet, you can tell they still have an authenticity to their service and a zest for their work. We interviewed a few photographers before deciding on KevinLeVu and our photo/package was a large sum of our wedding budget, so it wasn’t a decision we made lightly. However, with Kevin’s impeccable response time and after just one meeting at their HQ in Orange, we were sold! We were looking for a photographer that could give us a timeless look to our photos, and we were in awe at the photo albums Kevin shared with us from many years ago that looked crisp and fresh present day. The photos weren’t overly edited, nor washed out but perfectly true to their vivid colors.
The Le Vu’s are kind genuine professionals and listen to your interests to cater to your photography and video needs. We loved our Engagement photos with Kevin so much and shared a fun day together. Fast forward to our wedding day, the Le Vu team did an impeccable job at accommodating our wedding schedule even if some things didn’t go accordingly, they were calm and composed every step of the way. We were so glad we got to share our special day with Kevin, Jenna, Steven, Marcus & Michael for our photo and video needs because they were a fun bunch to work with. Plus they know how to dance! We would recommend Kevin Le Vu and the the team over and over again.
We were SO excited to receive our photos from our wedding day and got SO much more than we anticipated. Though we should have known Kevin Le Vu was going to exceed our expectations. We will be daydreaming about our special day for years to come but are so ecstatic that we have beautiful photos to look back on. We’re so glad we found lifelong friends from their team, you won’t regret making them yours too.

I am not going to lie I but I have been wanting to review Kevin and his team since the wedding day. However, we wanted to wait until we get our wedding pictures. Since day 1, meeting with Kevin at his office in Fullerton, we have been constantly in awe of their work ethics and amazing personality. I remember walking out of his office, Stacey and I smiled gleefully because we knew right then his team was the one. Since then, it has been one great customer service after another. Whenever we had questions, they were willing to answer within hours, most the time in minutes, even though their team are constantly working with other couples. On our wedding day, I was really nervous and can't seem to get my tie correct and then I heard a knock on the door. Opening the hotel door was our groomsmen photographer, Khoa, who greeted me with a smile and a very calm demeanor like everything is already going according to plan. For some odd reason, that calmed me down. He fixed the tie and started scanning the room to see how he should start, knowing that we don't have much time. Half an hour later, I saw Kevin as he was the main photographer and taking the bridal party's responsibility. Kevin was his usual cool and chill self. I asked him if I can take a picture with my mom and he did. However, this wasn't just any picture, it is one of my favorite of that day and will forever sketched into my heart. He truly described the moment that I was wishing for my mom and I. From that moment on, I realized Kevin and Khoa got everything handled and Stacey and I just need to be ourselves. Just reading this sounds like any photography team but I think the most important part is after the wedding day. After that day, we felt we knew more about Kevin and Khoa than any of our prior meetings. Their kindness, genuine smile, amazing photography skills etc. made us realized we actually made friends on a day when we should be focusing on other activities. This team doesn't just want you to be their customer, they want you to be long-lasting friends. Since that day, we have had many friends and family ask us who was our photographer and without hesitation, we would immediately say Kevin Le Vu Photography and give them their contact info knowing they will be in good hands. Thanks for being amazing photographers and amazing friends.

Joleen Sent on 09/13/2018During a stressful time like planning a wedding, Kevin was a solid vendor, we were excited to work with. I researched his work on Yelp and really liked the vibe. It's been about a year now talking with him from booking to finishing up our wedding this summer. Kevin is positive, responsible, reliable, and very easy to work with.
I feel like you get what you pay for with wedding photography and I feel like Kevin was very fair with his prices. His packages include an engagement shoot which I wasn't wanting initially but I am so glad I did it after I saw the photos. You schedule a consultation with him and he suggested a really great hidden location that had sequoia trees because I want to have a forest look. it was my dream come true and there is even a second location on a grassy hill. Kevin really spent several hours with us to get so many shots. Kevin took the time to write a really nice, personalized blog with sneak peaks of engagement shoot.
The wedding day was really hectic but it was really great having Kevin and his assistant John capture all the moments during the day and night. I had my wedding at wayfarers Chapel and they do not allow photographers at the front of the church. Somehow they managed to capture amazing shots. I will say that Kevin and his assistant were so patient with a not so nice employee of the church and with my demanding friends/family. It was eight hours of filming and I had them travel to a separate reception venue which was about 8 hours away.
Photos take about 5 to 6 weeks to arrive but it comes in this beautiful wood box and wood USB with a thank you card. I've gotten so many compliments on all of the photos and I am very pleased with how everything turned out. I look forward to another opportunity to work with Kevin and his team!! -

Cindy Sent on 07/10/2018My Husband and I threw a 1 Year Birthday Celebration for our Daughter last week and quite honestly, we truly, were and am still so grateful and happy to have met and worked with Kevin! We worked with two other photographers in our lives for our Wedding and Baby Shower. However, we weren't 100% happy with the level of Member service and the finished product. Kevin Le Vu seriously delivered on all fronts...Kevin made us feel so relaxed (even during the heat!!!) when we were posing for pictures, Kevin knew where to place us for photos and guided us so confidently and kindly, lastly...Kevin BLEW OUR MINDS AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY with the finished product!!!!!!!!!!
We loved the photos...no...the captured moments of time that we will share with our Daughter when she grows up =]

If you don’t have the time to read my entire review I can tell you this much - you won’t regret hiring them for your wedding or any other special event you have in mind. They are all extremely kind, very professional, know how to keep their cool during what could be one of the most stressful days in your life (talking from a bride’s perspective) and last but not least, the final products (all pictures and videos) are impeccable. One of the most important thing for me for my wedding were the pictures. I knew I wanted to have amazing photos of the day and not just candid shots, but also magazine worthy glam photos. Kevin can definitely do both in a very unique way. He gave us tips on how to pose, had ideas about the location and where the best pictures could be done, even brought external lightning with him for some extraordinary night photos.
He responded to all my questions in details very promptly. With the volume of work and all the amazing photo sessions he does, I don't know how he manages to be so punctual and always on top of his work. But I guess that's part of his magic!
Working with him and his team is easy, very delightful and sure makes you relax during the day because you know you are in good hands. The entire team is super professional and friendly at the same time. If he is available for your date, don't hesitate. That will be one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself for this special day.

Kate Sent on 08/15/2015Kevin was a pleasure to work with and we love our engagement and wedding photos. We got married in Southern California, but live in the Bay Area so we had Kevin come up north for our engagement photos. He was very easy to work with and did a great job planning our engagement photo day and getting the gorgeous photos back to us quickly.
On our wedding day, Kevin was very prompt and flexible with little changes we had to make on the day of. We had a backyard wedding and did many of our photos in the neighborhood nearby. He did an incredible job making the surrounding area look beautiful in photos and got lots of gorgeous candids. Kevin gave us the 1,300+ photos quickly and we are so happy with them.
We met with several photographers before choosing one, and we decided on Kevin because he was a better value and provided more services (engagement session, second photographer, & album included in our package). Lower cost definitely didn't mean lower quality in this case -- everything was top notch! We highly recommend Kevin and his team! -

Katie Sent on 03/01/2015I have to confess, the first thing I did after getting engaged was to look for a wedding photographer. I'm a photography enthusiast so knew I needed more time to look for a photographer than most people. I was ecstatic when I found Kevin, his gorgeous work and unique perspective and style speaks for itself.
Getting a quote and setting up an initial appointment was easy, responses to email was timely and very prompt. After meeting with Kevin and Megan it was really a no brainer to hire them, I was so happy they were available for our date! They have great customizable packages to fit your needs and are professionals that really work with you from that first meeting until even after the wedding. We ended up with a package that included the engagement shoot, wedding day photography and their photo booth service. Update emails were sent to give an estimate when we might expect the photos to be ready. Everything came out beautifully and we received our wedding photos in a lovely package just a few short weeks after the wedding.
Our original bookstore location we were hoping to shoot at for our engagement session turned out to be closed. Kevin was quickly able to make a great suggestion for union station as an alternate. My husband and I are pretty awkward and nerdy, Kevin was really great at putting us at ease and would give gentle suggestions for poses and just let us be ourselves.
Our wedding day came and went before we knew it! Kevin and his crew showed up early and were ready to work. They were like ninjas seeming to be in multiple places at once! I had a few requests to make sure we got photos with all the guests and Kevin and Megan helped us make sure this happened. They helped us make the day unforgettable with lovely picturesque photos of the event to last past when memory has faded. -

Cathy Sent on 04/25/2014First off, I'm not your average bride. I'm type A, full on OCD, and super high strung. I did a lot of research on finding the right photographer for my wedding. I mean A LOT. I interviewed a handful of prospective photographers. I even tried killing 2 bird with 1 stone by meeting with vendors who did BOTH video and photography together! I didn't find anyone that was the right fit for our wedding. Finally I met with TWO different videographers and asked if they could help me by recommending any photographers? They BOTH mentioned Kevin Le Vu!
We met with Kevin Le Vu at his studio in Fullerton. His office space is super cool. Kevin was so friendly and professional. We saw his work and immediately booked him for our Wedding, Engagement Shoot, and Photo-booth Services.
Our Engagement Shoot. I wanted something urban, hip, modern with an architectural backdrop. Kevin had a vision and took us to Downtown LA, He fully executed our ideas to the tee! We got so many compliments on our photos. The pictures turned out AMAZING. Kevin has a keen eye, is super creative and talented.
Our Wedding Day. We had a long day and I am VERY grateful for their patience. The Kevin Le Vu Photography team are such troopers. Their hard work and dedication was not going unnoticed. Their team should be commended for their service and professionalism. Thank you John, James and Megan! I appreciate all your help and being so responsive to all my questions. I am very grateful for making me feel at ease on such a hectic day.
If you are debating on who to book for Photography? Look no more! I highly recommend the Kevin Le Vu Photography Team. It's money well spent. I couldn't have booked a better photographer for my wedding. They exceeded my every expectation.

We had a great time with them when they did our engagement pictures and we were very impressed with them on the day of the wedding as well. They were always smiling and really helped ease the stress of the day which was great for my husband and me. They have such a great eye for getting the perfect shot! They were so organized and knew exactly what they wanted us to do and were always letting us see how great the pictures looked on their cameras as the night went on. They have a way of making you feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera that it didn't even feel like we were being photographed. We received our pictures less than a month after the wedding and we absolutely love them. We can't thank them enough for all of the hardwork and creativity they put into capturing our big day! -

User1149865 Sent on 05/01/2013I can't say enough good things about Kevin & his team. He was by far my favorite wedding vendor (and I had a lot of great wedding vendors!)
First of all, the first thing that drew me to Kevin was not only his amazing work, but that he would scout out locations to find the best spots to take pictures before the engagement session. This was super helpful given that my fiance and I just moved to DC and didn't know the best places to take pictures. Kevin not only flew in a day early to scout out locations, but he also picked amazing spots to shoot and spent the extra time to get all the shots we wanted. The results were gorgeous! Throughtout the engagement shoot we could tell that he wasn't about keeping to the time, but making sure that he got the right shot.
I also liked that he was very responsive and would follow up with me prior to the engagement photo shoot and wedding event. He was easy to work with and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. I couldn't have asked for a better photog!
Also, I found that his photography packages were a great value and he delieverd amazing results!
Work with Kevin and his team! You won't regret it! -

From the beginning, when my husband and I first met Kevin, we felt like he took the time to really get to know us. He made our esession so comfortable and fun! He's truly one of the most creative photographers I've met and is truly passionate in his work. Our wedding day this past August was extremely hot but Kevin and Megan were troopers and still worked their best to capture our big day. We love all of our pictures! Their quality of work is extremely vibrant, artistic, and detailed! -

Lack of professionalism
Please note that the KLV team tried to dispute the review below on Wedding Wire to get it removed:
I'll try to be as succinct as possible with this review, though be forewarned there may be a lot of details. I posted screenshots so I wouldn't have to reiterate some of them here. We hired the KLV team as our wedding day photographer and added the photobooth and hardcopy photo album. Quality-wise, the photos were great -- very nice shots, and Kevin and Michael were obviously experienced and familiar with our venue so they knew the best spots to take pictures. The team has also been accommodating to all the changes and postponements we had to make due to COVID, which we greatly appreciate.
My problem lies with their communication and attitude. I have a list below of issues I've had with the team (see screenshots for more details). Please note that almost all of these items would've been non-issues for me and I would've never brought these up again if it weren't for the last item.
1) Overcharged on initial invoice -- this was noted and corrected, but for future clients, please be sure to double check all your charges for this and all other vendors.
2) Company changed domains and contact emails sometime this year. I did not receive any notification, and none of the emails I sent to the original address had a bounceback or were forwarded. I had some questions about timelines about 6 weeks before our date and only received a response ~3 weeks after I decided, on a whim, to send to the email we were getting automated messages from. It was pretty frustrating because up to this point it had been a year since we've been in contact. To the KLV team (who are undoubtedly reading this), as noted in their most recent email to me that there's really no need for us to communicate until around a month out when the coordinator sends the timeline -- I only reached out because a) my coordinator asked if I did and b) because I had questions about having enough time for everything in the timeline (which my coordinator also suggested I reach out to you about).
3) I initially said to KLV that they switched from Jenna to Kevin as our main photographer without notifying me. This was actually incorrect on my end and my apologies to the team for my misunderstanding. It was a little confusing because Jenna became main point of contact for the timelines and I assumed she would be the main photographer, then communications switched to Kevin; this was done all through the same email contact.
4) We received our photos and had asked three questions (see screenshot for further details). Meg responded and ended the email with this: "Thank you for your understanding and I hope the other 1153 images will suffice for remembering your wedding day."
I have a problem with this statement and I would not be the only one who would have a problem with it. It is snarky, rude, and completely unprofessional. I am completely okay if there were no better photos or if it would be out of scope of contract for more photos; this isn't the problem. I am not okay with this sort of attitude when we've been nothing but courteous to KLV throughout our communications. I even went online to post on a wedding forum to see if I'm overreacting and the consensus was that this statement was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
I reached out to the KLV team to share my thoughts about the experience I had with the communications and the response I got winded down to this: "We apologize if that you feel the way you do"; there was also further reiteration of 1153 photos (lol).
To anyone looking to hire a wedding photographer:
Be very clear about what pictures you want, make sure everyone looks the same way, and maybe even have multiple poses for important family pics to be safe. With both sides of the family, we have only 7 people (including us) and only got two pictures of the entire group and only one we can use.
Clients should have the right to ask questions (within reason) without feeling like they're being attacked or given attitude. Given the number of positive reviews for this company, I'm surprised I had to deal with these issues. For anyone looking to hire KLV as a photographer: I have no doubts about the quality of their work but would not recommend if you want to feel comfortable about asking questions and are looking for more professionalism.
To the KLV team who are probably reading this:
I will reiterate once again that the minor incidences that occurred previously were not an issue. It is also not an issue that some photos were ruined because people blinked and or that there weren't further photos to be shared -- we understand this. The issue is your lack of professionalism, which you said wasn't true and chose to not recognize or take note of, and your response which was along the lines of "I'm sorry you felt this way".
