Kenny Kim was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He is incredibly kind, easy to be around, and genuinely takes the time to get to know everyone. He learned our guests’ names, remembered who was related to who, and made people feel comfortable in front of the camera without ever forcing anything.
The photos are beautiful. He captured a perfect mix of clean, timeless portraits and candid moments that actually feel like us. We received hundreds of highlight images within 48 hours, and the full gallery of over 2,000 photos just 12 days later, which was amazing.
We’re so grateful for the way Kenny documented our day, and we’ll treasure these photos for a long time. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, and genuinely good to work with. And his prices are extremely reasonable for his experience and caliber/level of skill. -

Year after year, we are amazed how Kenny is able to get capture something beautiful out of what feels like a mess (dealing with a dog and toddler) from us. I recently had the privilege of working with Kenny Kim as my wedding photographer, and let me tell you, he’s not just a photographer—he’s a magician. From the moment I met Kenny & saw his work, I knew my wedding photos were bound to be extraordinary.
Here’s why Kenny Kim deserves a standing ovation (and maybe even a parade):
1. Photo Quality: When I received my gallery of over 2,000 stunning images, I was floored. Unlike some “modern” photographers who rely on gimmicks, Kenny’s images are pristine, unfiltered, and devoid of artifice. They don’t need Clarendon or Valencia—their true beauty shines through.
2. Time Warp Delivery: Kenny handed over the entire treasure trove of memories just over 3 weeks after the wedding. I blinked, checked my calendar, and pinched myself. How did he defy the laws of time and space? I suspect he has a TARDIS hidden in his camera bag. But wait, there’s more! Brace yourselves for the pièce de résistance: Kenny delivered over 500 photos just TWO DAYS after our wedding as our "sneak peak" - WHAT!?!? We were able to look back on our wedding day on the way to our HONEYMOON! That experience was invaluable & it's SO incredibly unique to have had the opportunity to reminisce so soon after our special day.
3. Professionalism on Point: From our engagement shoot, to our rehearsal, to our wedding day, Kenny’s demeanor was a blend of grace and confidence. He glided through our wedding, capturing candid moments without disrupting the flow. His ninja-like stealth made everyone feel at ease, and the result? Photographs that radiate authenticity. He also somehow memorized nearly all 200 of my guests’ names!??! And not just the wedding party & immediate family members—he managed to remember nearly EVERY. SINGLE. GUEST and how they were connected to our families. Even my Irish relatives with unusual and traditional Irish names were greeted with familiarity and warmth.
4. Coordination Skills: Kenny Kim wasn’t just a photographer; he was an additional wedding coordinator in disguise. During the planning process, he orchestrated timelines, smoothed out wrinkles, and juggled more tasks than a circus performer. He also replied to the ridiculous amount of emails I sent him within minutes, almost every single time. And on the big day, he was everywhere, making sure our wedding vision happened without a hitch. I would call him the unsung hero of my wedding, but EVERYONE was singing his praises on our special day.
In summary, if you are lucky enough to book Kenny Kim, consider yourself blessed. Kenny, thank you for making sure we will always look back at our wedding photos with admiration and awe. You’re not just a photographer; you’re a friend, a genius, and a legend. -

The Go To Photographer that delivers the best work with ease of mind!
I have known and worked with Kenny for almost 10 years for a total of 2 weeks of events; between a destination wedding and a New York wedding. It goes without saying he is one of the best wedding photographers in the nation and it’s no wonder his clientele spans across the globe. When shooting portraits for family, He makes everyone feel comfortable and captures the most epic shots! His eye for detail and design background puts gives him an edge that stands out among other photographers. I can truly say he did not take one bad photograph at my wedding of 150 guests in April 2022 in NY. That is tough to do! We enjoyed our photos so much we will be working with him again this Fall for our newborn/family portraits. He will be our first pick when we choose anniversary photos or special occasions ie Hawaii, should he be available! Having Kenny Kim as our photographer was a dream come true. He has such an unparalleled talent, and he was able to capture some of the happiest moments of my life. This was hands down the best investment of the wedding. He absolutely put his heart and soul into his craft.
I’ve never been to a wedding before where all the guests CONTINUE to talk about the photographer, months after it’s over. The fact he made an effort to learn names and stories and connections made the experience so much more personal and memorable, and those efforts showed up in his final product. We cannot say enough about Kenny. Our wedding day simply would not have been what it was if it weren't for him--us, our families, our wedding party and our guests would all agree. Best Decision to Hire Kenny
I was introduced to Kenny by my sister who hired him for her wedding in 2019. My other sister hired him for her backyard COVID wedding. And to complete the trilogy, Kenny shot my wedding this past August, as well as my engagement photos last year. He went above and beyond to make our day the best. Kenny went out of his way to learn our bridal party and family members names. He was out on the dance floor capturing the moments. And I think he befriended our entire guest list. We received our highlight photos the no more than 36 hours later which was so fun to relive the day when we were on such a high. I look forward to having Kenny capture more of our special moments, and recommend him to all the brides and grooms! -

Kenny is not only a world-class photographer, he is a wonderful person!! He photographed our 8-13-22 wedding and practically became a part of our family by the end of the day. My husband and I are so, incredibly grateful to have spent our wedding day with Kenny!
Right from your first contact with Kenny he goes out of his way to get to know you as a couple, your story, and about all the people in your life who are important to you. This enables him to capture special moments and special people on your wedding day. He knew the names of all of our family members, wedding party, and even significant others of those in the wedding party! Not only is this super kind of him, but it also allows him to efficiently reposition people and expedites the photography process.
On our wedding day, Kenny went above and beyond, arriving early to begin taking invitation suite detail shots and familiarize himself with the space in which we would be doing our first look. He was calm and cheerful, and my bridesmaids and I had so much fun taking getting ready photos with him.
For the bulk of our photos, he chose locations based on the weather and lighting that day, and helped guide our trolley driver from stop to stop. He kept time so my husband and I didn’t have to worry about it, and made us laugh and smile so much. He calmed our nerves and made the picture taking part of our day so much fun!! His second shooter was great, as well. Your photographer really sets the tone for your wedding day since he or she is with you the whole time, especially if you take photos before your ceremony, and Kenny made sure that we had a perfect day!!
He delivered tons of photos to us just 2 days after our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how beautiful they are. Kenny is truly gifted. He captured so many beautiful moments on our wedding day that we will be able to re-live forever thanks to his photos. Beyond that, he is also a wonderful person who is very fun to get to know. I had guests gushing about not only our photos, but how interesting, friendly, and charming Kenny was! We cannot recommend booking Kenny as your wedding photographer (or for any event, for that matter) enough.

Beyond all expectations
We were so fortunate to work with Kenny not once, but TWICE! Kenny was responsive, personable and professional. His vision is outstanding and it truly shows in the photos. He was so helpful in giving us advice and input for our engagement shoot outfits, provided the most comfortable experience during our COVID wedding and did not hesitate to capture our anniversary reception. We contemplated getting a videographer but we decided that spending money on a great photographer would be more beneficial, and let me tell you we do not regret skipping the videographer at all. Kenny captured EVERY moment and emotion- beyond anything I could have imagined. Whenever we look at our photos, we are immediately brought back to each moment. Finally, on top of being an outstanding photographer, Kenny has the most INCREDIBLE memory!! He truly does his homework- Kenny addressed our bridal party, family, and friends by name without any hesitations which added an extra element of ease and comfort during our special day. Best Wedding Decision Other than Saying I Do
Words cannot adequately describe how wonderful Kenny Kim is. We received our photo album after the wedding and the pictures caused us to laugh and cry tears of emotion and joy. Kenny Kim's secret to breathtaking wedding photography is that he takes his time to get to know the bride, groom and wedding party. He knew all of us by name. He set a fun and lighthearted tone during the wedding and was efficient with his photography. One of my favorite Kenny stories is when he was trying to get my husband's grandparents to line up for a picture. They were bickering with each other in Italian which is status quo for them. Kenny (Asian photographer) starts speaking in Italian to them. Their mouths dropped and they immediately followed his instructions with smiles on their faces. Kenny listened to all of my special requests and the photos turned out better than I ever dreamed of. After the wedding, everyone raved about him. He is so passionate about relating to people and his photography work. He has become both a forever friend along with a talented photographer. -

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Kenny Kim. He was the absolute greatest, a true world-class professional. Kenny took the time to meet with us as a couple, get to know us and our families. He asked thoughtful questions and cared genuinely about our expectations and desires.
The result was a photographer who felt like he was actually a part of our wedding party! He knew our families names, he knew the names of our groomsmen and bridesmaids, he took the time to care & learn about the nuances of which family members might not want to be photographed together (you know, every family has "friction" here and there...), and he fit in so well that you would have thought he was just an old friend of the family who happened to have incredible photography skills & equipment.
Kenny cares. It shows. His work speaks for itself as we have even been featured in a magazine based on his photography! He was able to politely but professionally wrangle our group when we were disorganized or losing attention. The photos were breathtaking and turned around quickly.

The amazing and talented Kenny Kim!
We could not have been happier with our decision to have booked Kenny for our wedding last year. From our very first inquiry through the entire planning process and of course day of, not to mention even post-wedding communications, Kenny was so professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail from start to finish. I really appreciated how responsive and clear Kenny was in his communications, which is so important when you're planning a big event and juggling so many different vendors and moving parts. His photography speaks for itself -- he is an amazing and talented photographer who cares about his craft. But just as important if not moreso, Kenny is someone who is great at connecting with people. Kenny really took the time to get to know my husband and me and made us feel so comfortable during our e-session. He made sure to get to know the wedding party and important family members, and he's just an engaging conversationalist and communicator. Kenny genuinely cares about making your wedding day the best it can be and will capture it beautifully. I'm so happy and thankful we have all these beautiful moments and details to look back on for years to come! -

Kenny Kim was recommended to me by a wedding photographer that had left the business. Before I even looked at his work, I knew that he had to be amazing due to the person recommending him to us. I believe her exact words were "great photographer, veteran with weddings, and I know will take good care of your family..."
Even then, he went above and beyond my expectations. Kenny's process of getting to know you, your partner, your story together, your families, and your friends is unbelievable; he has a way of not only remembering everyones name but actually getting to know people in such a short amount of time. We have a few family members that hate their picture taken, and he was able to get amazing candids of them that they LOVE. While he is completely present in the moment, he is also always noticing the perfect picture.
We still haven't made our wedding album yet because we love all the pictures, and it is so hard to pair down to even a couple hundred (yes, Kenny takes that many pictures and they are all amazing).
Even after our wedding, our friends and family ask how Kenny is doing and if we have seen him recently. I went to a baseball game with Kenny not long after our wedding (and posted on instagram), and I was bombarded with messages ranging from sheer jealously from my father and mother-in-law that they were not invited to people reminding us how great our wedding photos are and which ones are their favorites.
I can't recommend Kenny highly enough!
One last thing that I think is important to mention is how Kenny works with your other vendors- especially if you are doing a destination wedding where they haven't worked together before. He made a large effort before our wedding to establish a relationship with our wedding planner and the venue. Two of my friends have had issues with videographers and photographers clashing, and this is just something I did not have to worry about AT ALL. -

Highly recommend Kenny Kim!
Kenny Kim is amazing on all levels. Not only is he super talented, he's also incredibly easy to be around and very professional. He has a way of disappearing into the background and capturing the special candid moments that are what memories are made of. He can also easily corral a large family into a group photo and get everyone to laugh and smile in a natural way. The photos we received from our engagement session and from our wedding day far exceeded our expectations. -

I entered into the conversation about Kenny (With my now wife then fiancée) slightly closed minded. The cost to bring a Chicago photographer to a destination wedding seemed questionable. But sitting down to have dinner with him, he was able to change my opinion in five seconds flat. There is a level of professionalism, camaraderie, and passion to Kenny that is simply unmatched. We left our first dinner as more than acquaintances. One meal. All it took.
It is not just that he is a conversationalist, Kenny’s lust for life is contagious and watching his process begin with US, extend to our friends, our family, and all of our guests was beautiful to watch. He was one of the few vendors that actually asked us how we were doing and not just focused on their craft. By the end of the first night, all our guests were comfortable enough with him that on our wedding day he was able to capture moments and pictures that we haven’t seen from any other photographers. Candids, formals, fun, and serious- the ability to see what others don’t and preserve the nature of the night...
But that is only covering his photography skills. After the wedding, it has been tough to not keep in touch. While we loved all our vendors, Kenny has stuck out as someone we follow, talk about and miss. I cannot say enough positive things. -

Exceeded All Expectations!
Kenny was an absolute pleasure to work with! His ability to connect with his clients on a personal level really sets a positive tone from day one and his organizational skills helped put our mind at ease for such an important part of the wedding planning process.
Our bridal party was large (8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen) and we had a large extended family presence throughout the wedding weekend. Instead of focusing on just the key family members and bride/groom, he ensured that he learned the names of all the key family members and bridal party before the wedding, so he can organize photo groupings the day-of more efficiently and effectively. We had worried that the size of the bridal party and family would result in limited group photos and the exact opposite occurred thanks to Kenny.
His attention to detail and ability to capture beauty was also spectacular. From our engagement photoshoot to the beautiful album he put together of our wedding day, we're over the moon with how they all turned out. It is easy to get lost in the hectic nature of different photo angles, locations, and configurations, but when we look back on the photos we can tell how well Kenny was equipped to handle it with flying colors.
Overall, we feel so lucky and grateful for our experience of working with Kenny and for the friendship that has followed. We would recommend him to anyone seeking a wedding photographer that is proactive, organized, and artistically impressive. -

The BEST Wedding Photographer EVER.
I knew that if I were ever to get married [again], I would be hiring Kenny Kim to be my wedding photographer. I'd seen his transformation from a sports photographer/hobbyist to an award winning destination wedding photographer and was so impressed with his understated, classic approach to wedding photography and knew I needed him to document my special day. He exceeded my expectations in EVERY way.
We got married in Rome. My husband's side of the family is Italian and mine is Korean, and would you believe it--Kenny speaks Korean, English, and an impressive amount of Italian--certainly enough to herd our group around through multiple different photo sessions. Kenny engaged seamlessly with all our guests and was, in many ways, more like a family member than a vendor, given his familiarity with Italy, Italian, Korean, and weddings.
He also had so many wonderful ideas for photo shoots, so many of which I would never have though of myself (even though I'd been to Rome a few times myself). Not only that, he handled all obstacles (bad traffic and rain!) as if they were all part of the plan. Bad traffic? Let's stop here and take a photo on our way to the other photo shoot site (ended up being one of my favorite photos of the bunch). Rain? Let's take a photos inside the glorious lobby of the hotel! He never once looked panicked or tired or anything less than thrilled to be part of the whole event.
He arrived at our home a few days ago to hand deliver our wedding album, and we were both so moved, we almost started to cry. My husband and I are both vegan and he took pains to make sure there wasn't a hint of leather in the album and worked with us tirelessly to pick through the photos.
In a word, Kenny is AMAZING. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire him!!! -

Super good at what he does!
Kenny did such a wonderful job capturing our wedding day! We couldn’t have booked a better photographer. His pictures were fantastic—friends and family were raving about them! And the downpour we had that day was no challenge for him. He was so kind, polite, and so accommodating to our big families and huge wedding party. It’s not an easy job to work with so many people and he did it beautifully and seamlessly…and he knew everyone’s names, which was very impressive!
Kenny’s creative input and talent will surely make our wedding day one that we will never forget.

Kenny is a great artist. He can see from his viewfinder camera what you can’t imagine from your eyes!
Photography is a combination of the right position at the right time. He can find every time the perfect matching.
Overall, he’s a great person: he can feel what’s the best thing to do and the best word to say just looking at you and your guests… professional with serious and shy people and funny with those who want to have fun!
His attitude is very polite, warm and staid and you will never be sheepish during the photoshoot.
Organization of events and wedding must start from Kenny Kim and his photos, because the artworks he produces, will be the best memories of the happiest moments of your life.

Where do we even begin? Kenny is truly a professional, and the best in the industry. He not only takes incredible photos, but he is so enjoyable to be around and makes everyone feel so comfortable. We did the engagement shoot in DC during cherry blossom season and the photos were MAGICAL. Next, he was with us for every moment during our wedding weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. He literally learned everyone's names (169 guests) and their relationship to us, and captured everything so beautifully. The photo highlights were ready almost immediately (does this man ever sleep?) and he was so wonderful to work with -- extremely quick to respond and he has an incredible eye for photography. Kenny was recommended to us by a friend, and I know we will see him again in the future because our guests were so blown away by the photos that he will be hired for many more weddings to come in our social circle. Where to begin? Kenny is so much more than a great photographer. He helped everything run smoothly on our wedding day, got every picture and more that we could have asked for, was super creative, and most of all, after all said and done, he became a close friend of ours. Kenny is honestly an amazing person. He is so incredibly passionate about what he does and he's a great people person, so was able to get everyone organized for all the different photos. Kenny and I met a few years back while I was working at a winery in Napa Valley. I have always admired his work and knew that, if I ever got married, that he would be my number one choice for photography. After booking our venue, Kenny was the first vendor that we reached out to and we were SO lucky to have been able to snag him for our wedding day!
One look at any of his photos and you know that you are working with a world-class wedding photographer! His shots are beautifully concieved and stunning to look at, and you can tell that he has the ability to illicit and capture genuine emotion from the subjects. But with Kenny, you get much more than gorgeous photos. He genuinely cares to get to know you, your family, your friends and your story. Just as an example, he memorized our wedding party in advance of the event and was therefore able to direct people seamlessly on the day in order to get the right shots! To say that he takes his role seriously is an understatement.
Our families and friends were so impressed with Kenny. He and his second shooter, Ning, were in complete control of the day, were present for the right moments, and were endlessly patient with all of us. We will treasure every moment that Kenny has captured for us, from our engagement shoot last summer through our wedding day, Kenny has more than exceeded our expectations. I could go on and on. I won't. But I will say that a quality photographer is worth their weight in gold. You will be forever grateful to have him on your team on your wedding day. He is the best!

My husband dislikes photos and wasn't keen on having a photographer follow him around all day on our wedding day. Kenny worked like a ninja and we rarely noticed him throughout the day. Once we saw the sneak peaks the day after our wedding day we were so amazed by the photos that were captured! My husband told me "Kenny is worth every penny we paid"! If Kenny happens to be available on your wedding day, consider yourself lucky! If you have the opportunity to book Kenny make sure you do! You won't regret it!

From the very beginning, Kenny was very accommodating and flexible. Our meetings leading up to the wedding were always very fun and friendly. Our engagement photo shoot was just lovely! Even though we felt awkward at first, Kenny helped us jump right in and gave us many pointers. He was laid-back and professional. For our wedding, he definitely did an awesome job!
