Above and beyond!

All it took was one phone call with Kelsey to know that she was the right photographer for us and that we would be in good hands. After speaking with several photographers, Kelsey stood out for her approachable demeanor, communication skills, and honesty. We immediately felt at ease with Kelsey and decided her photography style and personality were a good match for us. She was realistic about expectations and honest about not up-selling (e.g., she said there was no need for a second photographer and that she would be able to cover the event on her own). Kelsey made good on all of her posted timelines and the quality of the photos absolutely met our expectations. We were able to give Kelsey a shot list that we hoped to get, and Kelsey was able to make sure those were a priority. Kelsey helped set the wedding timeline and worked extremely well with the other vendors to ensure things stayed on task. On the day of the wedding, Kelsey was a dynamo, and brought a no BS attitude (in a good way), making sure family photos were done in an orderly and timely fashion. Kelsey also went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, helping remove an unexpected errant lipstick stain from the wedding dress during the getting ready phase. Kelsey stepped in to take control of what was a chaotic scene to save the day and avert disaster. Our experience with Kelsey was great and we really felt like Kelsey delivered on what we paid for. And beyond her skilled photography, Kelsey has the perfect demeanor for a wedding photographer and was a pleasure to deal with from our first interaction with her through the delivery of our wedding photos. Kelsey is the best!!

Kelsey was an absolute joy to work with from the start of our wedding planning process. She was so kind and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and was flexible throughout our planning process.
The day of our wedding she prompt, so calm and professional and kept us on track while still allowing the photo process to feel fun and natural and we felt relaxed because she was so on top of everything. Not only did we love getting to work with her but our family and friends did too and said how easy she made the whole wedding photo process feel.
She captured all the right shots and more and we are just in love with the final photos and will cherish them forever. Hire Kelsey, she is truly the best!!

Kelsey is Amazing!!

I found Kelsey through different wedding websites when searching for a photographer for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier!! Kelsey is truly amazing! She was great to work with during the planning process and day of the wedding, and really helped us form our schedule for the day and figure out what worked best with the pictures that we wanted, the people involved, our photography locations, etc. On the wedding day Kelsey was more than just our photographer! She helped keep everything on schedule, keep our bridal party and family organized for pictures, and even clean my dress multiple times as it got dirty walking on the streets of NYC. As the bride she made me feel so relaxed and stress free on the day of the wedding, any bride's dream! Also, Kelsey's pictures are AMAZING!! It was very sunny and windy on our wedding day, and Kelsey did an amazing job with both aspects! We were so happy when we got them back, she truly captured every single detail of our wedding day so it felt like we were reliving the day. She captured the little details perfectly, as well as the bigger details such as both my husband's and my reaction during our first look, the ceremony, speeches, dancing, etc. We truly couldn't have been happier! Kelsey is the absolute best and puts so much time and love into her work, any couple who works with her is extremely blessed!

The absolute best!

I had been familiar with Kelsey's work for a few years, so when we got engaged, I knew Kelsey would be the perfect fit for our wedding vision. It wasn't until I got to talk to her that I realized how wonderful she is as both a person and photographer.
Kelsey made everything so straightforward, and the day of the wedding, she was a godsend. Despite the 90+ degree heat, she kept everything on schedule to the minute. She took so much of the stress out of the day, keeping us all relaxed.
I really can't recommend Kelsey enough!

Hiring Kelsey was the BEST decision!

Kelsey Combe is truly amazing! From the moment we hired her, she was professional and fun to work with. She has an unbelievable talent for what she does, and after our engagement photos came back, we knew we had 100% made the right choice hiring her as our wedding photographer. She was responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process and was happy to answer any questions (and like most brides, I had a lot). She happily accommodated every request and was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. She and her husband, Clay, were on time and had the whole day planned out perfectly. I did not have a wedding planner, and there were moments throughout the day that I forgot that because Kelsey had it all covered. Taking pictures can be a long process, but it felt like the time flew by because Kelsey made it easy. Not only was she wonderful to work with, but her photos were unbelievable. The hardest part was only being able to chose about 200 of our 1200 to use for our wedding album because we truly loved them all.

She perfectly captured our day - it was like the photos came to life to tell our wedding day story. All of our friends and family were in awe. We could not have been happier with everything! It would be a mistake not to have her as your wedding photographer.

Kelsey, you are the best and we are forever grateful to have such beautiful memories from our big day!

If you need a photographer in the NY or LA area, YOU MUST HIRE KELSEY!! She was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very start and she took the time to understand “my vision”.

On the day of our wedding Kelsey was early, professional, and kept everyone organized (no easy feat with a wedding party of 16!). During photographs, she had us laughing and kept everything light and natural, while managing to run perfectly on time.

While I’d work with Kelsey again for her professionalism alone, it is her knack for capturing STUNNING photos that puts her in a category all to herself—she is truly a top tier photographer! I am completely in awe of her talent and hiring Kelsey to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made.

I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Kelsey for my June wedding at Oceanbleu in Westhampton Beach, New York. Kelsey is knowledgeable, professional, and is exactly who you want to have near you on your wedding day. My husband and I are not necessarily "picture people" and Kelsey made us feel comfortable, made it seem easy and still managed to truly capture our wedding in most wonderful way. I literally have no words for how amazing Kelsey is! I'm an interior designer and had a VERY specific vision for my wedding day and wanted to be as hands-on as possible. For me, the most important piece of the puzzle was choosing a photographer and I searched extensively for one with the perfect aesthetic (light + bright with an emphasis on candid moments), price range and personality. After Kelsey met with us (in our home!) we immediately felt a connection and booked her almost 2 years before our wedding. Kelsey not only acted as a friend and sounding board throughout the long planning process, she also helped us assemble the most kick-ass group of talented vendors (or "friend-ors" as they call themselves) we could have ever imagined. An actual dream-team. On the day of our wedding Kelsey and her husband Clay were professional, cool, calm and collected and made us + our bridal party, family and friends feel so incredibly comfortable. Kelsey in an exceptionally talented photographer, and on top of that she is an amazing sounding board and an incredible human being. Kelsey was known to me and my husband, as she had shot a few of our friends' weddings, so we knew we wanted to work with her. So much so that we actually planned our wedding around Kelsey's availability (yes, I am serious...and yes, she is that amazing). Kelsey was a critical part of our wedding day and helped to keep things moving smoothly. She approached the day with calmness and ease that allowed us relax and enjoy every second of it knowing that we would have even the small moments to look back on. Working with a larger bridal party is no small feat and Kelsey was able the corral the troops with professionalism and grace - and with creativity that made for some excellent shots. I look at our album often and am immediately feel like I am reliving our wedding day all thanks to Kelsey's talented eye and beautiful photos. We had such a wonderful day spending time with Kelsey and are so grateful we were able to do so. I cannot say enough wonderful things without turning this into a novel. Incredibly talented, professional, organized and creative - Kelsey was such an important part of my wedding day and the months leading up to it. I cannot say enough about her talent for capturing moments and ensuring that the bride and groom get the photos that are important to them. The first time I spoke to Kelsey I was immediately struck by her professionalism and her expertise. On that first call she suggested solutions to a couple of timing/logistical issues we were trying to sort out, both of which we used and worked out brilliantly. As an inexperienced bride trying to plan a wedding with no idea about anything, having a pro like Kelsey in my corner was invaluable. Kelsey clearly explained the various options she offers and then worked with me to come up with a personalized plan to meet our particular needs. Kelsey was always very prompt in our correspondence and after the wedding got us all of our photos well within the timeline she set out. I would also highly recommend ordering photos from her site after the wedding, the quality is incredible. Probably most importantly, my husband and I had such a great time with Kelsey on our wedding day - I love that the joy of the day came through in our photos, and I know that is mostly thanks to Kelsey. Essentially, Kelsey is a brilliant photographer, an expert professional, and she will be in your corner from day 1 - she's the best!

I found Kelsey through friends who had hired her for their weddings and knew that I would want her to shoot my wedding when the time came. She is the complete package. Not only is she a talented photographer, she is also a great resource and support system for any bride. Leading up to our wedding, she helped me plot out my day-of timeline for getting ready/pictures, etc. On our wedding day, she had kept our bridal party on schedule and when I teared up during our first look she was quick to fix my makeup with her emergency concealer she had on standby. If you are looking for a photographer who will produce beautiful photos that you will treasure forever and a person who will make you laugh and keep you calm on your big day – Kelsey is your girl!

I cannot gush enough about how talented and truly incredible Kelsey is as a photographer, and (now) as a friend. She is the reason I could breathe a sigh of relief on my wedding day, both because she knew our vision, and because I knew that I had an advocate taking me through the entire day. Kelsey is nothing short of amazing. Her photos are pure magic (please do yourself a favor and look at her website and blog) and she was able to capture every special moment between my husband and I so naturally. She is professional and brings her own calm "I've got this" presence, and when that is paired with a wonderful sense of humor and wit, you know she's got it and then some. The day we met her for our initial consultation, we knew she was the right woman for the job; she, with no qualms or second thoughts, removed a tick from my husband's arm ... If that isn't someone you want in your corner on your wedding day, I don't know who is. Kelsey was able to seamlessly relate to young and old, communicate with other vendors and the venue, and essentially herd cats into beautiful photos, all with grace and charm. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. Our photos are absolutely stunning. I have looked a them almost every single day since we received them and every single person who has looked at them has raved, asked for her name and referred their friends to her. Kelsey is literally the BEST photographer!!! She brought an awesome second shooter with her, and we put all of our confidence in both of them all day to get pictures of the best moments. That confidence was not misplaced by any stretch of the imagination. My husband and I chose not to have a planner, and Kelsey was AMAZING at keeping us on schedule, and making sure we had plenty of time to get all the photos we wanted in. We both have pretty big families who all wanted different "group shots" and she was awesome at letting my husband call out the groups, taking the photos, and moving on to the ones we really wanted... all of our natural moments. Her personality is light-hearted, fun, and it was just like having another friend around for the day. Our pictures of truly flawless and completely stunning. HIGHLY recommend!

Kelsey is AMAZING!!! My husband and I are SO grateful that we had Kelsey as our photographer. She did an incredible job for my best friend's wedding, so we jumped at the chance to book her. She was originally booked on our wedding date but her original commitment was moved and we are so very grateful. Kelsey did an incredible job with both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We are so in love with our pictures -- they completely exceeded our expectations!!! She is SO talented and so professional. I feel like I hit the jackpot with all my vendors, and Kelsey was the BEST ONE!!!! I heard of Kelsey through many (many) recommendations and after a phone call, we knew we needed her! She was actually busy on the date of my wedding but rearranged her existing plans to make it work! Just one example of how she went above and beyond for us. Our photos are ridiculously stunning- she captured us in the most authentic way, and you can see our happiness and excitement in each photo we have. I let Kelsey do her thing, I didn't ask for specific shots or styles/poses, because I trusted her instantly. She has a gift and SHE is the photographer- she knows what she's doing, so you can relax with nothing to worry about. Also, it was Kelsey's first time shooting at TriBeCa Rooftop, and instead of doing the same thing that all the other photographers did, she found this amazing cobblestone street close by for our first look, and it was actually beyond perfection.
Personally, I'm obsessed with Kelsey as a person- I'm so lucky she was close by on our wedding day- she and her husband both have great energy and made everything go as seamless as possible. It was so fun to see some of her favorite shots the very next day!!! Our albums are also beautifully done. I can't say enough about our experience with Kelsey- she's perfect.

I went looking on Style Me Pretty for a photographer, and low and behold I found Kelsey (being featured on SMP should speak to her talent). I had spoken to a few other photographers on the phone, but as soon as I spoke to Kelsey I knew she was who I wanted to hire. She was so cool and down to earth-- a little quirky which I loved. I wanted someone I would feel comfortable with as I don't love being the center of attention and I felt comfortable with her immediately. Working with her leading up to the wedding was seamless. We had sent some emails and chatted on the phone a few times; I felt like I was always talking to a friend.

The day of, Kelsey did an amazing job keeping us on a timeless. She's truly a pro. She works very quickly; I never felt like we were bogged down taking pictures for hours, but every shot she got was incredible-- a sign of true talent.
Kelsey is an artist, and I have to say that her photos speak for themselves. They are effortlessly beautiful, and really capture the day in the most natural and flawless way. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Kelsey and now I get to treasure the pictures forever!

Kelsey is absolutely amazing! She was the only photographer we met with and after meeting her my husband and I immediately wanted to book her for our wedding. Both of us are a little awkward in front of the camera and Kelsey made us so comfortable during both our engagement shoot and wedding day. I am obsessed with the pictures of our wedding and the wedding album Kelsey put together for us. All of the pictures are so beautiful I will treasure them forever! Kelsey is beyond amazing to work with. She has an amazing talent and creates a vision for your wedding day! We received an engagement shoot with our wedding package. It was a lot of fun to do before the big day. It allowed us to get to know her and her style and feel comfortable behind the camera. Kelsey will make sure she gets the shots that you want, but give her her freedom to do what she does best! It was nearly impossible to finalize my photos for my album - there were just soo many great ones! They are full of natural light, great candid moments, and beautiful portraits!

I was referred to Kesley by a variety of photographers who were already booked on our day, which to me, is the highest compliment of someone's work. My husband and I were happy with our choice: Kelsey's wedding portraits are easily someone of the best we've ever seen. She was able to easily give direction, and pick lighting that translated into pictures we will cherish forever. Kelsey was a very calming presence on our wedding day as well, which made us feel happy and confident about our pick; it's not just about the pictures, but also about how your photographer makes you feel on that day. There aren’t enough words to proclaim the beauty of Kelsey’s work! My husband and I chose not to do an engagement session and I was not concerned at all in not meeting Kelsey before our wedding. Her portfolio is stunning, she made herself readily available by email or phone, and we got the sense that she would not leave us the least bit uncomfortable or worried about capturing our wedding day. During the phone call we had a week prior to the wedding I had a list ready to go through about what shots I definitely wanted captured and I didn’t even need to mention one, she laid it out before I could! On the day of Kelsey and Clayton were professional, efficient, and so easy to work with. I really appreciated Kelsey’s ability to take charge appropriately, directing our family and friends during the portrait sessions. The photos—my gosh—the light! I love how every photo looks not posed and naturally beautiful, exactly what we wanted. Kelsey is a true artist when finding the best light. Looking at the photos of our wedding day it truly looks like the dream it felt. We are SO happy to have worked with her and are still hearing so many compliments on how beautiful the photos are.

I cannot say enough good things about Kelsey! Prior to my wedding day my husband and I did an engagement photo session with Kelsey. For the non-models of the world, the process of getting portraits done can be incredibly awkward but Kelsey made us feel at ease throughout the entire experience and the resulting photos were so much more than I ever expected. From this experience I knew I completely trusted her for my wedding day. In the last couple of months before for the wedding Kelsey was available for any questions I had and always promptly replied. She gave me honest feedback for how to ensure my wedding day and resulting photos would be the best they could be even if it differed from an idea I suggested. I really respected that she didn’t just agree with what I said, but gave me her honest opinion. On my wedding day she was the definition of a professional. She was assertive with wrangling bridal party members whose attention was dwindling and clear with directions to ensure our photos looked the best they could be. The thing I appreciated most was her honestly throughout the entire day and she made me feel that she really was giving her all to ensuring that my husband and I would have amazing photos to lookback on of our day. When we got our photos back they were incredible and so far exceeded my expectations! It was difficult to pick a selection for an album as there were just so many options. All the directions she gave during portraits that at times felt a little awkward translated into beautiful, natural photos; her eye for natural lighting is seriously unbelievable. I first came across Kelsey Combe’s work when browsing online in the very early stages of wedding planning and kept her name for when it would be time to pick a photographer. Her photography stood out to me because of its beautiful lighting, natural style, and lack of cheesy posing. Kelsey was an easy choice because I saw that even on the grimmest and rainiest of days she managed to take the most gorgeous shots, and with that I knew that we were in good hands. Luckily, we were blessed with a sunny June day, and Kelsey worked her magic. When we got our wedding photos back, my husband and I smiled, laughed, and cried as we relived the day through her lens. I should also add that in addition to being an amazingly talented photographer, Kelsey was very helpful in assisting me with creating a wedding day timeline and with the getting ready process on the day of the wedding (it’s not every day you need to put on a veil or pin a boutonniere on a tux!). She makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. Kelsey is professional, reliable, and extremely dedicated to her work, and I feel lucky to have had her shoot our wedding.

I don’t have enough great things to say about Kelsey! I realized by looking through her photos that she takes all the pictures I never even realized I wanted. All those candid times with friends, family and your husband, every glance, every laugh, every cheers my husband and I made with our friends, every moment that truly makes your day so special is all caught by Kelsey. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and is quick to respond to any questions you may have. Kelsey is a master with lighting. In hindsight, I found this to be incredibly important. I remember for our engagement pictures, it was raining and supposed to be cloudy. I called her in the morning upset about it and we considered rescheduling (which would have been inconvenient for everyone, I was hoping for the pictures for Save The Dates), but she quickly eased my concerns saying that overcast lighting is actually her favorite, she knows exactly how to shoot in it and even sent me Sunny Day vs. Overcast pictures to reassure me. Leading up to our wedding day, she called to find out all of the logistics and tiny details so she knew exactly where to be when. Not a minute was missed. On our wedding day, she was timely and professional and took the time to acclimate herself with the family and bridal party. She was assertive in getting the pictures we needed and wanted (not pushy at all, but important when dealing with many people). I am speechless at how beautiful our pictures turned out. Kelsey made sure that every sign, picture frame, cocktail hour station, person, and detail was photographed so I will never forget. We took pictures at sunset which are my favorite. She will help to pose you and tell you where to look and put your hands, etc, but you never look stiff. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of work. We just received our album and its magnificent. She also sends you all the pics on a flash drive so you keep them. I highly recommend her!

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important things you can do for your wedding...after all once it's over all you have are photos and memories! Kelsey was not only professional and talented but she makes you feel so comfortable to work with her that you feel like a friend is taking your photos that day. She is always available to talk through questions or suggestions and you won't be disappointed with the finished product! We just received our finished album back and it was a wonderful collaboration with Kelsey that brought us back to all of the feelings we had at our wedding 5 months ago. When I first started looking for photographers, I was underwhelmed. Any photographer I liked was well above my budget and was nervous I’d have to settle. I saw photos from my high school friend's wedding on Facebook and loved how natural and beautiful everyone looked and reached out to my friend immediately. She said Kelsey Combe was her FAVORITE VENDOR she worked with and couldn't recommend her enough. Having hired Kelsey for my wedding, I can 100% agree. I booked a “raw” space and had to bring in everything, which means a lot of vendors (I don’t recommend that part). Kelsey was, BY FAR, the best vendor I worked with. In a couple of years, I’m sure she will be charging more, so get her now while you can. Some photographer will be cheaper upfront, but will charge an insane amount for extras like engagement photos and albums. Kelsey’s prices for albums are very fair; she’s not trying to make a killing off of them/you. Kelsey was an absolute dream from day one. I feel so lucky she was available on my wedding date. CALL HER NOW. She books way in advance. Not only are her pictures amazing, but she is extremely professional. She is extremely prompt with communication. I found myself having to repeat myself, and re-confirm details with other vendors. Kelsey kept detailed notes and really listened to what I wanted. I never had to worry about anything. I trusted her completely. I got married on one of the coldest days of the year and was nervous about taking pictures outside. Kelsey and her assistant were organized and worked very quickly to get us inside asap. My entire wedding party was impressed, and grateful, with how fast she worked. She kept me sane. Kelsey has a calming presence, which was helpful the day of when things started to go wrong (with other vendors). I looked at her more like a friend, than a paid vendor. I honestly feel like I can rave about her all day. Everything was perfect. Just book her; you’ll be so happy you did. Thanks Kelsey!!!!!!

I feel so fortunate to have had Kelsey photograph our wedding! Kelsey was recommended from a friend and after seeing her photos I knew we would be a perfect match. My date was almost taken but fate stepped in and put us together. From the first meeting, which lasted much longer than I'm sure she anticipated, we had an instant connection. Kelsey is very easy to talk to and had great ideas of her own to compliment my vision. I wasn't really into the idea of engagement photos but Kelsey promised it would be fun and really help us all be comfortable together for the day of the wedding. We did them in Central Park last winter on the first big snow and it really was fun! In true Kelsey style, she captured some genuine, playful moments and as always some really beautiful light. As we got closer to the wedding we met back up and discussed the day from start to finish, over more wine. We were getting married in NYC and wanted our first look to be something really special, so I suggested the Brooklyn Bridge. Kelsey was just as excited about the idea as I was. It was more chaotic than I anticipated but she executed it perfectly, which resulted in some of my favorite photos of the day. I really don't think I could have done it without her. The whole day Kelsey and her 2nd shooter (her husband Clay!) were professional, kept the wedding party in line/on time, made us feel so comfortable, and got the most amazing photos of our day! I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of photos to choose from, which arrived on time just as promised. I can't say enough about Kelsey. She was easily my favorite vendor!! Kelsey was absolutely fantastic - literally there is not enough I could say about her both as a person and as a professional photographer. I first found Kelsey on stylemepretty and when I checked out her website I was immediately attracted to her style of photography. When we reached out to Kelsey, she responded quickly and with so much love and enthusiasm that I was immediately hooked.
Throughout our entire time of working together, Kelsey never lost that enthusiasm and willingness to help and was always there to answer questions and give advice. We had a great engagement shoot which helped us get comfortable with the camera and made the wedding day photography a breeze!
On the day of the wedding, Kelsey and her second shooter were both fantastic to have by your side. Not only were they very professional and efficient at their job, they also had fun with us and provided good vibes, which made the day feel even more special!
One final thing - I really appreciated the fact that Kelsey delivered the photos based on the timeline that she said she would. Accountability is something I highly value - and on that front Kelsey gets a straight up A.

Where do I begin?! Kelsey’s work is amazing. I knew I loved her pictures from the moment I visited her website and blog. There is a brightness and happiness about her pictures that I absolutely adore. Kelsey was such a pleasure to work with. For our very first meeting, Kelsey went out of her way to meet me in person, which other photographers did not do. We met over a glass of wine, and we talked through what I wanted and my vision for the wedding day. I also seemed to share much more than I anticipated with her, but she was just so easy to talk to and a great listener and it was a joy to meet her. When we hired Kelsey, the first big thing was our engagement pictures. She came into Hoboken where she had never been before, and we captured so many shots walking around town and in different light and scenery. And not to mention that we had our lab puppy Maddie in our pics, and Kelsey was pretty much the dog whisperer! She got Maddie’s attention better than we can, and was able to capture a dead on shot of Maddie looking into the camera and smiling. We used the picture as our save the date, and got so many complements on it. On our wedding day, Kelsey was prompt and was on the ball. Her laid back yet professional attitude is refreshing, and she was able to gain everyones attention without being demanding, which I really appreciate. The wedding day just was a blast and Kelsey captured everything - I kept forgetting she was there. Now, after the wedding, she has given me such a gift through her pictures, as she has captured every detail and emotion that I never thought was possible in pictures. We have so many shots that I absolutely love, and it is so hard to narrow down but I am very happy to have that problem!! We looked at many photographers for our 2-bride wedding. Many of my coworkers had used Kelsey and been to weddings where she was the hired photographer. Although she had never done a same-sex wedding before, she was friendly and seemed very comfortable with the concept of 2 brides - even eager to help photograph more same-sex couples. We picked a 2-photographer package, booking Kelsey and supporting shooter Clayton.

We're so glad we chose her. Kelsey took care of many things without any prompting - asking for our accessories for those cute wedding morning pictures, bringing a few big umbrellas for the rain, and helping us stay on time. She helped our day run smoothly and everyone is very impressed with the quality of her photos. She captured some really beautiful angles and used elements of the environment to frame us, highlighting things we loved about our venue.

Key things Kelsey did (that we've seen other photographers not do):
- kindly helped us stay on time
- was assertive about getting a group to look good together (some photographers seem too scared!)
- gave helpful posing tips to make people feel less awkward
- detail-oriented in making sure things looked good, but NOT one of those annoying photographers that makes people adjust over and over
- made us comfortable and captured many genuine smiles
- gave us printing rights and digital copies of almost a thousand wedding photos
- delivered promised photo products and images on-time, without any prompting

There were so many moments where Kelsey made the experience easier. Trust us, having been to many dozen weddings. Weddings only happen once and we're so happy to have had Kelsey!

Kelsey is simply the BEST! She is friendly, dedicated, professional, accommodating and extremely talented. I really can't say enough about Kelsey. Her professionalism, her creative eye, her ability to convey exactly what I wanted through all of her beautiful images. Simply sublime!!!

She was amazing from start to finish. It is evident that she is VERY experienced at what she does, as she captured moments that I forgot even happened, and now I have them forever. I really can't say enough great things about Kelsey as a wedding photographer! Having worked in the wedding industry I was incredibly picky about our wedding images (I didn't realize this until I started the research process!) Kelsey was incredibly responsive from our first email to our meeting after work at Starbucks.
On the coldest day of the entire year Kelsey met us in our neighborhood for a 2 hour engagement shoot. My husband says these are some of the best photos he has ever taken! She was so relaxed and talkative that it was just like hanging out with friends for a few hours.
On the day of our wedding I was a bundle of overwhelmed energy. Kelsey popped in right on time and set to work taking detail shots and quietly bustling around the room. I am honestly shocked by the images she gathered in that prep period. I didn't even notice her! Plus the images that her second shooter captured of my husband and his groomsmen give me goosebumps thinking about us getting ready at the same time.
The constant compliment that we received from guests were that they never noticed our photographer, yet the images literally capture every moment of our wedding. The overwhelming emotion of the day truly pours out of each picture and I can't stop staring at them! Thank you so much Kelsey!!

Kelsey is not only an incredible artist, but she is a consummate professional as well.

Photography was extremely important to us - it was the first thing we started looking for after we got engaged. We looked through literally hundreds of portfolios, and her work is among the very best. But working in the event & production industry myself, I know that it takes a lot more than an artistic eye to be a good wedding photographer. That's where Kelsey really shines. I was having trouble finding a photographer whom I connected with, and I saw a wedding Kelsey did (through a friend) and immediately knew I wanted her to do my wedding! I contacted her, and felt an immediate connection with her warm personality. She is so professional, yet she feels just like a friend. She came out to Long Island to do our engagement photos with us, and we had a great time with her, and her husband Clayton. Kelsey was such an incredible find! My fiance and I are from California, but made a quick weekend trip to NYC this January. We had our hearts set on a snowy wedding, but couldn't make that a reality. So, I decided to surprise him by booking Kelsey for a winter engagement photo session. I contacted her only 2 days before our trip, yet she made time in her schedule to accommodate my needs. Throughout the shoot, Kelsey was easy to work with and helped alleviate any shyness that crept up on us. Her vivacious personality and sense of humor made the hours fly by. She braved below freezing temperatures for hours as we took our pictures in Central Park, then we took the subway to get some iconic shots in Brooklyn Bridge Park. My fiance and I feel like we really got a good deal since we kind of got a tour guide and photographer all in one! A few weeks after our trip, we received our edited images and were blown away by how great they turned out! Kelsey captured all the sweet moments between us and made them seem iconic with the backdrop of NYC. I've worked as a wedding coordinator in CA for a few years and I've got to say that Kelsey Combe is one of the best vendors I've ever worked with. I highly recommend her and only wish she could photograph my actual wedding this summer!

When booking our vendors, we knew photography was the most important to us. A friend shared pictures from a wedding she attended, and I immediately fell in love with the photographers style and work. We booked Kelsey before any other vendor.

When we met to do our engagement shoot, we were a little nervous since we both didnt know what to expect taking pictures together...both Kelsey and Clayton made us feel so comfortable with them from the start, it felt like our friends were taking pictures of us. Kelsey worked with us throughout the planning to set up a schedule and offer suggestions...I had answers to emails within a few hours, every time. Ray and I were disagreeing on whether or not to do a first look, and Kelsey took the time to explain to him the benefits of a first look, and answer any questions he might have; he ended up agreeing to one, and it was the best decision we made! We both cannot believe how gorgeous our first look photos are, and Kelsey made it all happen. Our schedule got a little messed up bc of our car service getting lost, and Kelsey quickly thought up an alternate plan so we could get all our pictures in, and it worked out perfectly...the last thing you want to do on your wedding day as a bride is try to think of an alternate plan when something goes wrong.

We received our pictures so quickly after the wedding and I was able to share them easily with family and friends. I can't stop looking at them, they are the greatest gift from that day that we'll be able to cherish forever. Kelsey was with me from the minute I got my hair done to our cake cutting that night, and it was like having one of my girlfriends with me all day. You won't be just another wedding or just another bride to Kelsey...she really takes the time to make your day special.

After seeing Kelsey's work from a friend's wedding last year, she was our first phone call when we started to plan our wedding. Her pictures simply speak for themselves. They capture the beauty of the couple, the beauty of the day and the beauty of any venue that you choose. We were faced with many obstacles outside of our control (severe weather, a broken kitchen and rough seas) on our wedding day and Kelsey handled each obstacle with the utmost professionalism. While we had hoped for pictures with bright blue skies, we were given dark, enormous rain clouds. As Kelsey told us from the start of our shoot "this is going to be epic!"...and she was right. Our pictures are the most gorgeous wedding photos we have ever seen and we could not be happier with the way they turned out. We were truly lucky to have found a photographer who cared about us as a couple just as much as she cared about getting "the perfect shot". She was a dream to work with and we would strongly recommend her for any event you have taking place. We promise, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Kelsey Combe and her team were an absolute delight to work with. Not only were they professional, friendly and extremely organized, but her ability and talent to capture the most perfect and intimate moments during the wedding were amazing.
Kelsey was a blessing from the very beginning. She is able to handle the anxieties that every bride has before the wedding by confirming and going above and beyond to make you feel calm and taken care of. Her organizational skills make you feel at ease and know that everything will be run smoothly that day, and the days leading up to it.
She and her team have an amazing eye for design and detail. She captures each twinkle of the eye, warm embrace, excited tear and hilarious dance move. Somehow she is able to do all this without you knowing she is even around. I was blown away with the beauty and emotion that each picture shows, and couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to remember my special day.
I would recommend Kelsey Combe Photography for any wedding, portrait session, party or special occasion. She is so incredibly talented and takes amazing pictures. She is a joy to work with, extremely friendly and accommodating. You can tell she loves her job and has such passion for her work, which shows in her photographs.

When we started our search for a photographer, we searched within our area of Upstate, NY. We couldn't find a photographer with the stylistic approach we both loved who was available on our date. A photographer from a friend's wedding sent us a list of names which is how we found Kelsey and Clay, and we couldn't be happier! Kelsey made everything perfect, right down to our drive to the Hudson Valley for our engagement shoot (we thought it would be fun to go there instead of our hometown)! Not only does she take amazing photos, but she also has an ease about her that makes you feel comfortable with being photographed and have fun throughout the process. Our engagement photos were beautiful and we can't wait to see our wedding photos. Kelsey helped us with navigating our day-of schedule to find enough time for our photos since we were more traditional and skipped the first look. The day was the perfect day for photos, overcast and misty. I was happy that Kelsey and Clay were so excited to shoot in the rain with umbrellas while helping me navigate the sand and mud puddles! We would definitely recommend Kelsey to anyone who wants an adventure through wedding photography, gorgeous "airy and light filled" photos, and isn't afraid to walk through the mist and rain to get the perfect photos!

Kelsey is a very professional, approachable, and talented photographer. She is easy to get along with and very receptive to the wishes of her clients. When it is time to get down to business, she knows how to handle a large and distracted group to get the best pictures possible. She has an excellent sense of light and shadows and knows how to take very flattering photos in any kind of weather. She is creative and organized. I plan on using her for any future events and have already recommended her to several of my engaged friends. She was my favorite wedding vendor I hired !
