From the very first conversation, Kelly had the kind of energy that made me think, “I weirdly want to be friends with her”—and that’s saying something, because after 40, I’m not exactly in the market for new friends. I would literally turn to my fiancé during planning and say, “Kelly would have laughed at that joke,” because she just got us. Her vibes were amazing—warm, grounding, and genuinely comforting in a season that can feel overwhelming.
What truly set her apart was how deeply she understood and respected our family dynamics. We could say things like, “Can you kind of avoid this?” or “If this part gets weird, can you adjust?” and there was never judgment or awkwardness. She accepted us exactly as we are and handled everything with intuition, grace, and total professionalism. It felt like having someone in our corner who genuinely cared about our comfort.
And then there are the photos. I don’t even have the words. Kelly somehow found a way to make us both look incredibly photogenic while actually living in the moment. I had spent so much time imagining how my face would look that day, wondering if I’d need to be posing or thinking about the camera — and instead, I completely forgot she was there. She has this rare gift of being invisible while also being present for all the right moments. Especially with our parents. They aren’t getting any younger, and we are so incredibly fortunate to have them, and she captured moments we didn’t even realize were happening — moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives. When we saw the final gallery, we both teared up. The photos are beyond incredible — emotional, timeless, and priceless. Hiring Kelly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we will be grateful forever. -

Kelly is AMAZING. First of all our wedding photos came out incredibly. But more than that Kelly was so very organized and didn't miss a single moment. She literally captured the spirit and every moment of joy on our wedding day. She made the planning process a breeze and made a camera shy bride feel beautiful. Amazing photographer!
Kelly Loss was the absolute best to work with for our wedding photography!! She was a constant source of light throughout the whole planning process and our photos came out stunning! She is extremely organized and really helped us nail down the timeline of the day with planning meetings along the way, and was constantly reminding us to have fun and not get overwhelmed with the little things. Without her we would not have had such an amazing day and amazing photos to remember it by. Cannot recommend her enough! -

Kelly was perfect for us!
Kelly was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t recommend her enough! She perfectly captured our wedding in her photos, and we really feel like we relive the day every time we look at them. She helped us think through what we wanted our photos to reflect, which made them all the more meaningful to us because they are true to our relationship. Her photography style is timeless, lively, and approachable. Kelly’s kind and down to earth nature really stands out in an otherwise daunting wedding industry. -

We were thrilled with Kelly Loss Photography. Kelly was very easy to work with, and was flexible and warm throughout the process. Because she got to know us, she made us feel very comfortable on the wedding day. She was efficient with the family photos, and well-organized. She carried through with everything we discussed during and after the wedding. We were very happy with the quality of the photos, and our guests praised them as well. Hiring Kelly was absolutely one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding and we can’t recommend her highly enough. She spent so much time getting to know us before the wedding, and our photos very clearly reflect her attention to capturing what was important to us. We really wanted to see the joy and breadth of emotions of the day and wanted photos that reflected our wedding as vibrant and loving, and that shines through in every photo!! Kelly is also so personable and brings such a wonderful energy to all parts of the process which made us feel so comfortable and so happy to have her with us!
In addition to creating a photography schedule that was invaluable and that we shaped the rest of the schedule around, she made sure to note people’s accessibility needs and to work with us closely on comfort for everyone as we had a lot of access needs. She answered every question we had happily and was just such a wonderful part of our day!! She also did our engagement photos at Great Falls and they turned out just so gorgeous.
I had a lot of anxiety about how I would feel about the photos as a plus size bride and Kelly listened to my concerns and made me so comfortable and I’m so so thrilled with the photos and feel gorgeous in all of them, which I’m very grateful for. -

Kelly did our engagement photos and photographed our wedding this past winter. We loved working with her: she makes you feel comfortable every step of the way so you get beautiful, natural, photos of your wedding; she is organized and experienced and offers great feedback through the planning process; she is super fun and kind and a joy to be around! My husband and I were both worried about feeling awkward taking our engagement photos and wedding portraits, but Kelly helped us loosen up, snuggle up, and be ourselves, which made our pics turn out great. Because she is so easy going and fun to be around, everyone in our bridal party felt comfortable taking “getting ready” pics, and our guests felt comfortable just being themselves and having a good time. We are so happy we chose to work with Kelly, and you will be too! -

We were beyond pleased with both our photos from Kelly as well as our experience working with her. We have received so many compliments on our photos from family and friends! Kelly was personable, flexible, and completely lacked fuss, as per her tag line! I was very nervous for wedding photos because I do not find myself to be very photogenic and am self conscious in general. Kelly made the whole experience painless! I also did not want to be stuck on my wedding day spending a ton of time taking photos! Kelly was able to get our photos done in 20 minutes flat so we could enjoy our day. She was willing to work with us so we could have both the photos and wedding day of our dreams. I have always loved my parents wedding photos which were shot in a very photojournalistic style. I expressed this to Kelly and what she captured the day of our wedding completely fit my vision. Kelly was our absolute favorite vendor that we worked with!!!! We highly recommend choosing Kelly as your photographer!
