Best Photographers Ever!

Carl and Michelle are absolutely the best! They are so professional and make their clients feel at ease. Their pictures are truly works of art that you will cherish for years to come. With their mix of digital and film their work is timeless and classic. They did both our engagement pictures and wedding and we were in awe when we received them! We really cannot put into words how amazing they are as photographers and how breathtaking their work is. We highly recommend them to anyone and we will continue to use them as our photographers of choice!

Michelle and Carl are amazing!! I’m so happy we picked them for our engagement session in Wilmington, NC and wedding in Emerald Isle, NC. They are so much fun, and so talented at what they do. Whether you have ideas of what you want or just let them work their magic, they will get wonderful shots. They were extremely responsive, and easy to work with. One of the best decisions of planning our wedding, was having them. We will be using them in the future for any other special events, and highly recommend them to everyone else!

Michelle and Carl are absolutely amazing! If you are still looking for a wedding photographer, stop reading this and book them immediately! The pair are incredibly talented; they shot both our engagement photos and wedding photos. My husband and I were both overwhelmed by the pictures they captured, the photos were more beautiful than what we remember in real life. We definitely gave them a challenge with our venue and lighting and they overcame it and more. Michelle shot more creative, artistic photos which my husband loved while Carl shot traditional photos that speak on their own which I really loved. Best of all, we actually forgot they were even at our wedding, they captured amazing photos without being in the middle of everything (one of my biggest pet peeves at weddings). I can't speak highly enough of them and their work!

Highly recommend getting them for your entire wedding day- We loved having them photograph our candid moments getting ready.

I am so happy that I chose keepsake memories for our wedding photographers. Michelle and Carl are absolutely amazing at what they do. My husband and I aren’t very comfortable in front of the camera but they eased our worries and we had a wonderful time. Some of my best memories of that day were sharing that special time during the bride and groom portraits with my husband. The pictures came out so beautifully and my entire wedding party gushed about how much they loved Michelle and Carl. If you are in need of a great wedding photographer, please don’t hesitate to hire them. You will not regret it.

You will not regret choosing Keepsake Memories Photography. Michelle and Carl are easy-going, honest and have an eye for absolutely STUNNING pictures. I took one look at their portfolios while talking to them at a bridal show and knew they’d be able to capture exactly what I was looking for in my wedding photos. My future husband had no say in this whatsoever, and after the wedding he said to me, “They were my favorite. I would hire them again. They didn’t make me feel awkward and I think our pictures are going to come out awesome.” (and he NEVER tells me when I’m right!) Michelle and Carl: you killed it! We are so thankful for you and your talent, and Preston & I are very hopeful we’ll see you in the future!

MICHELLE & CARL ARE THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS AROUND!!! Our wedding pictures were even better than we could have hoped. They are so professional, flexible, and friendly! Michelle & Carl are amazing at what they do! My husband and I could not have asked for more professional & friendly photographers the day of our wedding. Even though we ran into a few hiccups with our wedding timeline, Michelle & Carl were extremely helpful and flexible. We were still able to get the shots we wanted, as well as some extra shots that turned out amazing. We could not be happier with our wedding pictures, which turned out even better than we had hoped for. We are glad that we opted for Keepsake Memories Photography, as we wanted to make sure our big day was well documented. The extra metaphorical icing on the cake was that Michelle & Carl finished editing our photos and sent them to us within just a few weeks of our actual wedding date. While, we were willing to wait for quality photos, it was very nice to have their amazing shots sent to us in such a quick manner. I would highly recommend Keepsake Memories Photography.

Michelle and Carl with Keepsake are the best! They, of course, take phenomenal pictures but just as important, they are kind, generous, fun and will feel like they are your friends before your wedding day comes to an end! We laughed throughout our engagement photo session, loved having Michelle be there for our rehearsal dinner and had an amazing wedding day.
Michelle and Carl are super responsive, will answer all of your questions and are very professional. They send the links to your pictures out very quickly! To end with, Michelle and Carl are genuinely wonderful people and an inspiring couple-- it was a privilege to have them photograph our wedding!

I could not be happier that I found Keepsake Memories!! Michelle took sunrise engagement pictures of my fiance and myself while we were on vacation in Kure Beach, NC. They turned out AMAZING!!!! Better than I ever imagined! So creative and natural looking. We have gotten SO many compliments on them already. Michelle made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun!! She was so accommodating to our schedule, as we ended up coming down a day earlier than planned, so we had to reschedule our shoot to a day earlier. She always responded to my emails the same day, and never made me feel like I was a bother with all my questions :) We are going to cherish these pictures forever!!!! Thank you so so much Michelle!!!

BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS!! This couple made my wedding day so special! I felt as though I was working with a friend rather than someone I hired. Michelle helped me out so much that day and I am forever grateful! Her and Carl are so sweet and make you feel comfortable. They were willing to work in the rain and the photos turned out GREAT! I booked Michelle for my husband and I's elopement session and through the rain, constant change in plans and times (military time is not friends with personal life time) she was there ready to do her thing! She is so incredibly professional and makes sure that you are always comfortable. She asks for your input if you're looking for a specific look and she is also very creative. We loved her and would definitely recommend her to Anyone and everyone!

Michelle is AMAZING! My fiancé is stationed in NC and we needed engagement pictures taken. I came all the from Missouri and was extremely nervous about finding a photographer since I wasn't from the area. I did lots of research! I couldn't have been happier with my decision. Not only was Michelle so helpful but she kept my mind at ease about everything! From picking out outfits, locations, and ideas... she was ALWAYS there! She's so fun and easy to work with! She's very quick to respond to emails and keeps you informed! My fiancé and I really enjoyed our session and have some absolutely beautiful pictures to look at for years to come! Booking Michelle and Carl as photographers for our wedding last April was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. We got the package that included engagement shoot, a bridal shoot (we traded for print credit instead), the rehearsal dinner, the full wedding (the whole time frame must have been about 11 hours), a photo album, and credit towards prints. Michelle and Carl were so fun to work with, were very flexible with anything that came our way, and they always made us feel very comfortable. They also have great photography ideas about how to pose, and we are so lucky to have photos we will cherish for a lifetime. After the wedding, we received the high quality images in an extremely timely fashion, and they worked with us right after our honeymoon to create our photo album and ordered it very quickly. I very highly recommend Keepsake Memories!

Absolutely amazing photographers! Michelle and her husband did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier with the content they gave us. It was a very cold day and they completely understand that and did not push for photos. Gave s time to heat up and then go back to take photos. Also, I loved the fact that they gave us our space during the reception. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding pictures taken by Keepsake Memories a year and a half ago and to this day I still love going through and looking at all the beautiful pictures they took and we still get compliments all the time! Keepsake Memories was very easy to work with and was very helpful in deciding what photos we wanted taken. I recommended their services to friends who got married in North Carolina as well and they too, had great success. Using Keepsake Memories was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

They say a wet knot is stronger, in my experience i am praying that is true. I had the pleasure of having Michelle and Carl be my photographer for our wedding and bridal portraits. The day of my bridal portraits it was raining fairly heavily and I was unable to reschedule. Michelle found a very cool cotton mill that allowed us to take pictures at. She even shot photos of me in the pouring rain. When I got the photos back I could not have been happier. They were stunning, fun and the backdrops (brick walls, ivy and stairways) she chose were complimentary to my personality and dress. Then our wedding day a hurricane decided to join the party. Carl and Michelle made the 3 hour drive to my location in rain and flooding and braved the storm with us. They were one of the few that did not cancel on us. They went above and beyond for our wedding day and We could not be happier with the service and photos they provided.

If you want a photographer who will be willing to handle anything your wedding day may throw at you then look no further. You will have wonderful photos and memories to treasure with Keepsake Memories Photography.

Michelle and Carl are the absolute best! They are calm and brought so much laughter to our day. We had just as much fun with them as our wedding guest. As a bride I thought that taking photos would be a chore but they made it the best experience and we really loved having them at our wedding! I cannot say enough about how warm, friendly and professional both Michelle are Carl were photographing our wedding! Right from the beginning when we talked to them and then met them, we felt like we were in the hands of seasoned experts, and felt totally comfortable shooting with them. Michelle is excellent at giving direction, and I never felt like we were “posed” – all of our shots felt natural to us and I really credit that with their expertise. I’m so glad we chose them to capture all of our special moments and photograph our day!

Michelle did a wonderful job on our engagement photography. I don't think of myself as photogenic, but she made us feel at ease. She gave some instruction but told us to do what felt natural. What really led me to choose Michelle is her photos look so natural with beautiful lighting. Not cheesy at all. I have about 60 favorite photos from our session. Some we look like goofballs, but that's our fault. So many beautiful shots to choose from. Thank you Michelle! We would totally hire you for our wedding if we were going to marry in NC! I found Keepsake Memories pretty late into planning my wedding after calling other photographers that were booked. I am SO GLAD that Keepsake was not booked!! I only wish I had called them the first time! Michelle and Carl were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were some of the nicest people and made me feel really relaxed when taking pictures (I am not a photogenic person). I loved all of my pictures they were perfect!! If I ever need another photographer Keepsake will be my first call!!! It could not have worked out better!! I am so pleased that I was able to work with Keepsake Memories on my wedding day!!!

Michelle did an amazing job! And it such a pleasant experience - that is saying something! She dealt easily with the couple on another continent! As different families and locations are involved, it is wonderful to have the picture files so the parties can print whatever they desire.
Michelle is special and the pictures were GREAT! Each time she said "got it" I wondered - but SHE DID IT! I can definitely recommend her!!! You will not be disappointed.

Michelle and Keepsake Memories Photography are amazing! She was a blessing to me and my family! I can honestly say that I not only had a wonderful working relationship with her; I now have a wonderful friendship as well! She truly captured all the different emotions that my husband and I were feeling that very special day! I love looking back at all of pictures. Michelle recorded all the small details of our wedding day that are so easily forgotten. Her artistic and journalistic style of photography is exactly what we wanted. I did not even use a videographer because her photography style captured all of our moments. I recommend Keepsake Memories to any bride who asks me about my photographer. Michelle and Carl are a wonderful photography team. I think the fact that they are a husband and wife team really helps with their communication. My (now) husband and I were planning a destination wedding on Bald Head Island, NC, and we were not too familiar with the area. We couldn't get down to meet Michelle and Carl personally prior to the wedding so we had hours of phone calls, Skype sessions and emails with them about every detail. They were very professional and responded to all our (many) inquiries. The result was a stunning collection of wedding photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. They captured so many memories in such a unique way, and we had so many photos at the end of it! During the wedding itself, I hardly noticed that they were there but they captured every moment and detail that my husband and I had planned. They truly are an exceptional find and they made our entire planning process so much easier.

My husband and I were so blessed that Keepsake Memories Photography captured the special moments of our wedding day, and I was floored by the artistic beauty in the photographs. I wish we could do the whole day over just so we could get another set of pictures from them. THEY ARE THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS. Michelle and Carl are such personable people and we were so fortunate to have them last year at a bridal show. They were really flexible in scheduling our engagement session and my bridal portraits, and I always felt like they were truly invested in us as a couple, not just a business transaction. I loved that Michelle used a lot of natural light to enhance photos rather than a lot of photo editing. Although I may be a little biased, I have never seen a wedding album as beautiful as ours. We had a hard time narrowing down which ones to put in the album because they all turned out so great. My family and friends have raved about the photos and how well they captured each moment of our day. I have had several people ask me for the photographers' information to book them in the future. I feel that a wedding is only as pretty as the pictures, and KMP did a superb job at exceeding our expectations with their photographer. We will treasure and cherish these pictures forever.

Michelle and Carl are the most amazing people. They didn't just provide a service...they captured memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. Both Michelle and Carl were so friendly, you felt like they were a part of the family. They were kind and courteous to our family and friends and worked so well with all our other vendors. Michelle and Carl are a husband-and-wife dream team! It was so fun and effortless to work with the both of them not only on the day of the wedding, but the many months leading up to the Big Day. Michelle always took the time out of her busy schedule to answer my many questions by always replying promptly to my emails--usually several in a day! I even changed the location of the engagement photo session the day before because of an impulsive gut feeling I had and she was happy to go along with it, always supporting my husband and I in our decisions. Because they are a husband-and-wife team, they worked so well together and it was so fun to watch them play off of each others ideas about photos and poses and whatnot. After looking at all of our photos we have gotten back from our wedding day, you can see the different perspectives of one moment (like the ceremony or formals) that come from both of their cameras and I am so grateful for having them! They are easy to work with, very professional but fun to be around, and produce beautiful work!

Michelle and Carl were amazing! For the best coverage of a wedding having two photographers is the way to go. Having two photographers who are both awesome people and photographers is even better! Michelle and Carl are very professional as well as simply a great couple to be around! We could not have asked for more. From start to finish Michelle and Carl were so easy to work with and had some great ideas! Our engagement session was on the beach and she made us feel so comfortable and they turned out fabulous! On the wedding day, her and Carl were everywhere without ever feeling intrusive and I know that they were able to capture some great memories! I can't wait to see the final results.

Michelle and Carl were so wonderful to work with. I found them while browsing pics on style me pretty and emailed them. They immediately got in touch and were so excited from the very beginning. I absolutely love my wedding photos and would highly recommend them!! A really genuine sweet couple that are so easy to get along with and have by your side on your special day.

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience with Michelle and Carl. You will not be able to find a better combo than these two! We absolutely love every photo they shot and we received more than we could have imagined. Michelle was just what I needed as a destination bride. She was extremely professional yet extremely fun; it was like having an old friend become our photographer! Michelle’s genuine nature also provided me the confidence to relax and enjoy my day. She went above and beyond to learn and understand all details only to bring them to life in their photos. Our family and friends are still raving not only about their amazing photos but about their amazing personalities. It has been over a month since our wedding and we have actually found ourselves missing our new friends.

Keepsake Memories Photography is definitely the way to go for your special event. Carl was the photographer for both our engagement and wedding pictures. They are amazing and he was so easy to work with. Flexible, professional, and easy going, he always made us feel at ease in the spotlight.

We're so glad we went with Keepsake Memories! Carl was fantastic. We love our pictures! He captured the feel of our wedding perfectly, and he disappeared into the background like a ninja- totally unobtrusive. We wanted mostly candid shots, and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out.

We are sooo glad we chose Carl and Michelle to photograph our wedding!! One very special aspect of their business is that they are a husband and wife team. Because of that, they work so well together and can almost seem to read each others minds.

They are so personable and enjoyable to be around! They drove from Jacksonville, NC to Asheville, NC to photograph our wedding and so they only had one car. I was getting my makeup done at a salon, so Carl suggested he just drop Michelle off with us so she could take pictures of me getting my makeup done so he could go on and take the guys on their own personal photo shoot downtown. What a great suggestion!! They didn't want to miss any opportunities to capture our special day.

We love their photo-journalistic style because the photos show the day like a story unfolding. They captured all of our emotions throughout the day – anxiety, excitement, happiness. When we look back on our wedding album, we re-live that day from beginning to end because of the wonderful moments and emotions they captured.

Michelle is so sweet and personable. I never once felt stressed or worried about the photographs being taken and was very happy with the results. Michelle even dressed up for my fiesta themed rehearsal dinner! 100% dedication from Keepsake Memories.

Michelle and Carl we great! So great we have sent several friends to them for weddings and engagment! We love them so much we are now expecting our first baby and michelle is shooting our materinty photos next week! They are a great family to work with!!!

Carl and Michelle were wonderful. They were really flexible and great working with the day of the wedding, even putting up with my anti-bride attitude. Our pictures came out great and I really love their unique and natural perspectives when taking pictures. Ultimately, we are very happy with having two photographers and that we chose Michelle and Carl. We had a great time with them and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Everyone who has seen the photos has had nothing but positive things to say.

Carl was the photographer for our Wedding and we couldn't have been happier with him. He was friendly, professional, and down to earth. He worked with us on any request we had, and made every effort to capture "our day". He arrived early and was always in the right place at the right time...but never "in the way". He got our photos organized on a CD and uploaded to a website while we were on our honeymoon and so we had them shortly after we returned. He provided everything that he said he would and more. Its rare to see a service with such high reviews, but this guy deserves it!

Keepsake Memories is customer focused and willing to work with you. During our big day Carl and Michelle were there onsite and on time to the event! Leading up to the event they offered other services and provided fantastic engagement photos. While photographers aren't perfect, both Carl and Michelle sure try to please their clients and worked with us throughout the process leading up to the wedding!
