Katie has this amazing ability to capture the emotion of a wedding - the feeling of it, the vibe, the energy. She finds the moments, big and small, that define the couple and their love, so that their story shines through in the photos. There are no pose-y, artificial looking photos that you will look back on in 20 years and laugh at. Katie's style is modern but timeless. If you want to feel like a supermodel, Katie is your girl. The things she does with light is out of control gorgeous. She finds settings within your venue to provide beautiful and unique backdrops that will make your photos unlike any others you have ever seen (like a smelly wooden dock covered in barnacles = suddenly a chic Maine backdrop). We love our photos, and we loved working with Katie-- thank you so very much!!! -

We could not have been happier with the experience of having Katie as our wedding photographer!
Katie is a great communicator – she responded quickly to questions and even helped me consider photographer-related factors when brainstorming a timeline for the day. Katie is easy to talk to, reassuring, and so so friendly! During out wedding day, Katie’s easygoing nature made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She made us smile, laugh, and helped us to stay completely in the moment. Katie’s calmness and positivity during the day’s unexpected hiccups were much appreciated, too! During our ceremony, Katie was super stealthy – I didn’t even notice her as she moved around to get some truly incredible shots!
We received our gallery quickly, and the images are beyond stunning. I cried while scrolling through the gallery for the first time; Katie did such an incredible job capturing tiny moments in stunning and unique ways. I can’t recommend Katie enough to anyone with wedding photography needs. I am so grateful to her for the special memories we get to revisit through her beautiful photographs. -

Katie's expertise is truly unparalleled. It's NOT just awesome-looking photos and editing. It's her attention to detail. It's her genuine understanding of the special day and love in the air. She's also a ninja with her long legs. We are over and over amazed by the captured moments when we had NO IDEA she was anywhere near. Forever grateful for the wedding photos we have because of Katie. Can't say enough about Katie. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable in front of a camera and really wanted to work with someone who brought out a more natural side of us. Enter Katie. We met with her to do our engagement photos about a year before our wedding and we immediately felt assured that we made the right choice. We went into the session very skeptical and, to be completely honest, sort of dreading it. Engagement photos always seemed so cheesy to us and we both expected it to be uncomfortable. We had a BLAST. Katie was hysterical and honestly made us forget that there was someone actually photographing us. We had the same experience on our wedding day. Katie is the kind of person you don't only admire for her work, but genuinely want to be friends with. She fits in like “one of the guys” when she’s with the groomsmen, and like “one of the girls” when she’s with the bridesmaids. She is both a calming, yet exciting presence. The results were amazing and the photos truly captured my husband and I. We are so happy we worked with Katie and I promise that you will be, too. -

Katie is the absolute best to work with! Not only is she a fantastic photographer, but she is an all around wonderful and genuine person. She is detail-oriented, fun, and most importantly captured the magic of both our engagement session and our wedding day. Her photos are real, genuine, and FULL of love.
From the very first phone conversation up to our wedding day, she asked the most thoughtful questions. She learned the names of everyone and moved us through the "formal" photo taking process with professionalism and humor. Katie is such a fun and professional collaborator, working closely with our other vendors to make our day flow so smoothly. We loved working with Katie and she remains one of the best aspects of our wedding day. I feel incredibly grateful that our memories were documented by her. Thank you, Katie! -

You NEED Katie as your wedding photographer!!!
Katie was the first and only photographer that we talked to. We spoke on the phone and decided right after hanging up that Katie was the one for us (lol). A few months after booking her, she shot our engagement photos in the South End where we live and we were OBSESSED with them. It wasn't at all pose-y or awkward like I thought it would be. She made us feel completely comfortable and embraced our awkward (and our pics look anything but awkward).
Fast forward to our wedding this past July in Gloucester. The day started out perfectly sunny but quickly turned to black skies and rain. We went forward with out outdoor ceremony and I couldn't have been happier with how Katie handled the whole weather situation. She had been tracking the weather and we went outside for photos until right before it poured. The photos are gorgeous and dramatic and her calm demeanor and attitude made all the difference that day. She also always gave us our space on the day of and I never once felt like she was in our face taking photos. We knew our wedding photos were a priority for us when budgeting throughout wedding planning. Katie was easily the best decision we made. She was also always available for the entire year leading up to our wedding. She answered even the most non-photo related wedding questions for me and I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for an unreal photographer!! -

Matt Sent on 08/31/2018My wife and I selected Katie to be our photographer for our wedding - easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had multiple calls and emails with Katie and from the beginning we were all on the same page. We met Katie last summer to do an engagement shoot - the pictures came out amazing and we couldn't wait for the wedding pictures already. Katie was super helpful and flexible on the location of the engagement shoot - she gave options and recommendations based on what we were doing for the wedding.
We had the wedding on 8/18/18 and just got back from the honeymoon. The next day, we had our pictures from the wedding (under a 2 week time span). We were shocked that we received them this quickly! Some of our friends didn't receive their pictures back for months - we were extremely pleases to receive them in a timely manner.
The pictures are amazing and there is a wide range of pictures (getting ready, ceremony, individual, speeches, dances and dances floor).
You're wedding pictures will be with you forever - so you have to do your homework and make sure that you select the right person. This is one area that we did not skimp on and if we were to do it again, we would do the same exact thing. Katie is a true professional and amazing to work with. Easily one of our better vendors during the wedding process. -
