Kathy did the cake for our daughter's wedding and it was EXACTLY what our daughter had said she wanted and looked just like the wonderful sketch she had made the night we tasted her different flavors. Everything about the cake, it's presentation, set-up, serving was absolutely perfect and equally importantly, it tasted great! I'm so glad we chose Kathy to make the cake and also just as pleased that Ron and their son took the pictures and made a lovely short video of the wedding. Finally, if you want the very best quality, at a very fare fee, completely worry free.....here's your cake, I think your'e going to love it.

Beautiful and delicious cake!! We met with Kathy months before the wedding for a tasting. She hand drew what I described/envisioned my cake to look like. She even used color pencils to give me a clear idea of what it would look like and that we were on the same page. Our cake turned out exactly how we wanted! Everyone is still talking about how delicious our cake was and how beautiful it was. I am so thankful that Kathy did our cake!

We recently had a wedding in Emerald Isle, and the guest have yet to quit raving about the cupcakes provided by Kathy Canby. The display was as beautiful as the cakes were delicious! We would highly recommend Kathy's services to anyone!!!

Her cakes are just as amazing as she is to work with! She created a beautiful, delicious cake that all of our guests loved, for a reasonable price.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy. Kathy, not only made amazingly good cake/cupcakes for my wedding, she was great to work with. I live out of the area, so I couldn't do a tasting with her. No problem, she mailed me samples! When we finally met, she had great design suggestions and came up with three unique designs for the three different cupcake flavors I selected. She delivered on time the day of the wedding and all my dealings with her went very smoothly. She delivered exactly what we had discussed. And the cake really tasted amazing. It was left out on the counter for two days after the wedding, and it was just as good two days after as the night of the wedding.

I have never tasted a cake that was this good before, it was amazing and I could have been happier. People are still talking about how amazing my wedding cake was! Thank you for everything Kathy it couldn't have been any better. I am from out of town and she worked with me on everything. I highly recommend for any occasion!

Wonderful! She met my maid of honor when we were coming to town to get samples to us (very last minute notice), since she was busy the day I was coming. Her parents met me to get me cupcakes for reception. They delivered the cake day of, and picked up stands and such she had let me borrow the day after. Cake and cupcakes were amazing! I still have people talking about how wonderful it was! Kathy is wonderful and her cakes are amazing!

Kathy is the absolute best!!! Someone pulled out in front of her when she was on her way to deliver my cake...she had to slam on the brakes to avoid being in a wreck, needless to say my cake was ruined. She went back home and put a whole NEW cake together, decorated it, and had it to my reception 15 minutes after we were scheduled to cut it. The cake looked exactly as we had planned it to and NOBODY knew the difference. It tasted wonderful, just as her samples did...my husband and I had wedding cake for breakfast the next day!!! We have since ordered a birthday cake for my mother with raspberry filling that she absolutely loved. Kathy is very professional and takes the time to figure out exactly what you want. She drew our cake freehand at our consultation and we were blown away. Her pricing is very reasonable and the taste is awesome! We will definitely be using her in the future...

The most beautiful cake I have ever seen, exactly what I imagined. Very reasonably priced and the cake was delicious.

More than pleased with Kathy Candy! The cake was amazing. She went out of her way to help me have the cake I imagined. On my wedding day as they were setting up the cake her husband took pictures of me and our venue and made a really sweet video for my husband and I as a gift. It was very touching. All the guests said the cake tasted delicious and it look absolutely amazing.

Beautiful cake and more importantly, delicious! Most reasonably price for the cake that was made! We ordered another cake to be mailed to us a couple of weeks after the wedding, because it was just that good.

Kathy was a sweetheart from day one. It was difficult planning a wedding in NC from hundreds of miles away, but Kathy was one of those vendors who made it a little easier! She sent us samples and one taste was all it took to make our decision. Her cakes and icing are DELICIOUS!!! We got cupcakes, and on the wedding day, when I saw how beautiful they were, I was blown away!!! Kathy decorated the stand and the cupcakes EXACTLY how I wanted. They were gorgeous. I had so many compliments on how pretty they were, and even more on how delicious. THANK YOU KATHY!!!

I was somewhat dissappointed with my wedding cake. Really the only good thing about it was that it tasted amazing. I was looking for a very simple cake and it looked thrown together rather than simplistic (thank goodness for my wedding planner who made it look AMAZING -bella bean events) Kathy didn't even deliver the cake some woman with her child ( very unprofessional dropped it off and didn't even ask if I liked it). I will say Kathy was great with working with me on the taste testing since I was out of town (she mailed the cakes to me to try). But I was not thrilled with the cake itself besides the taste which was amazing needless to say! Sorry Kathy

Postive - the cake flavors we chose were amazing, moist

Meh - design did not look exactly like we discussed (even with specific photos)

Negative - cake was multi-tier and NOT stable, the topper was NOT on top, the clean silk flowers I provided were NOT used (instead she provided her own harsh corals that completely clashed with my pastels), and no refunds were provided even with these glaring errors.

If you don't care what your cake looks like, you can use her. If you do, make sure there is a responsible party that oversees every aspect of set up and does not release your check until it is absolutely correct.
