The amazing kara!
I cannot stress how amazing my experience was with Kara! She goes above and beyond on everything! Her website is super user friendly and she asks all the right questions before your event to ensure you get everything you need from your photo shoot! Her pictures speak for themselves but I want to highlight how detailed she is in providing the best customer service. She sent sneak peak wedding photos to both my husband and I's parents and even cute thank you notes after each shoot. She doesn't miss a beat on the little things and I look forward to using her in the future for any of photography needs! -

Kara is a must have for your wedding!
I can't begin to express my gratitude as a bride for Kara and her team. There were a few hiccups in our day, and Kara was our rock through it all! Her positive attitude shined through the entire day. She made sure we stuck to our agreed upon schedule while giving me the space to make changes as needed. She was in my corner ALL day making me feel like a million bucks. Kara is the type of person that feels like an instant friend when you meet her. I knew from our very first phone call that I wanted her to be a part of my day, not to mention her work is incredible! I got compliments ALL day about how amazing she was from my parents, bridal party and family members. Do yourself a favor and hire Kara to be a part of your special day. Also a shout out to her husband, Kyle! We hired the duo to do our photography and videography. Kyle did a great job making us laugh and capturing our day in it's entirety! His videos will allow us to relive our special day for years to come! Big fans of them both, they are a must have to your wedding day! -

Can I leave a 5 million out of 5 star review?
Where do I start to review Kara and her team?! We had originally booked another photographer out of excitement of being engaged, but we quickly realized, it was not the best decision. Working with Kara was a night and day difference from our previous vendor. Thoughtful, kind, responsive, knowledgeable, organized, timely, and the list could go on! She has the most calming presence about her, which comes in handy planning a wedding.
We got our engagement, wedding pictures, and videography through Kara. All the above were absolutely STUNNING and we feel so blessed to have the beautiful memories to look back on our day. Not that it is about this, but we continuously get compliments on our pictures and videos. My mother in law "could not believe how perfectly she captured who you two are". We couldn't agree more.
The day of we were running behind schedule, Kara didn't flinch once. She remand calm, cool, and collected and never once made me anxious that we wouldn't get all the pictures we wanted. They DELIVERED.
Truly, Kara and the team she has built, were made for this! You can not go wrong hiring them to capture your day. We would make the decision to hire them a million times over and can't wait to continue work with her in the future for all our photography needs!

Kara Evans Photography was the absolute best to work with for my destination wedding. I am so very blessed they were willing to travel a great distance to Jamaica to to do our photos and videography. Kara and Kyle both went out of their way to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Not only is she one of the best photographers around, but she also made sure the day went smooth and helped all the way around! Look no further, you will have the best photographer.. oh, and you will also feel like you have gained a sister along the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -

We used Kara and Kyle for both photography & videography. They are so professional and kind! Kara went above and beyond to help us put together our timeline and get every photo we could have wanted. We had a big wedding group + it ended up raining on our wedding day, which could have made things chaotic, but Kara had a backup plan and managed everything and everyone so well (I mean look at these photos - can you even tell it was dark & raining?!). She’s great at giving directions and making you feel comfortable and beautiful. We have so many great photos from our wedding that we had a hard time deciding which to print!! Can’t recommend her enough! -

Where do I start? First, our wedding planning took place during a pandemic, and yet Kara was always there as one of our biggest cheerleaders. She has one of the sweetest souls I've ever met, and exactly who you want to be surrounded by while planning, and celebrating! I felt so comfortable, and loved having both our engagement and wedding sessions with her! Kara is so organized, and that made planning fun and so much less stressful for us! She is there every step of the way to help while planning. Kara and her husband are in so many of our favorite memories from our wedding day. We are forever grateful that she captured our day, and did so beautifully. I can't wait to work with her again! -

When you are planning a wedding without a coordinator or professional planner, there are obviously a ton of deadlines and emails flying around. Kara's correspondence was always so helpful, informative, and fun to receive. She kept us on track with what we needed to do, when. We also had Facetime calls, so we immediately felt comfortable shooting with her even though we had never been able to technically meet in person prior. On top of her professionalism and amazing personality, her work is outstanding. I wanted to print out every single photo she took because they were so beautiful!! On our wedding day, her husband, Kyle, shot video for us and we could not have been happier with the final result. I could go on forever about all the little touches Kara adds to the wedding experience, but the main point is that you should hire her :) You won't regret it. -

I can't say enough about what a creative inspiration Kara is! Her photography is unmatched. When you look back on your wedding (or whatever event/moments in your life she's capturing), it's not just about the photos. From the beginning of our experience, she got to know us on a personal level, helped select details for the day, put together a timeline before anyone else asked for it, and kept us on the wedding planning track. She and her husband, Kyle drove 400+ miles to us for our engagement photos because our schedules were limited! Need I say more? On the wedding day, she took creative control, directed people where they needed to be, kept us on schedule and made sure every detail was beautifully captured. Our photos are perfect and truly represent the essence of John + I as a couple. We couldn't have asked for a more unique experience or a better photographer. The best part is through all of it, I gained a new friend! -

I don’t even know how to describe how amazing Kara and her work is! Kara isn’t just a photographer- you get a photographer, wedding planner, supporter, and a friend all wrapped up into one. My wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without her! She is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed, I mean just look at one picture and you’ll fall in love! Kara and Kyle were absolutely amazing! I cannot express how thankful I am that we chose them to photograph our wedding. Kara kept in touch with me throughout the entire planning process and helped me with so much more than my engagement and wedding pictures. I asked her random wedding planning questions and she always helped me with a smile her on her face! On our wedding day, it rained the entire day and I was very disappointed because we had a Fall wedding so that we could get beautiful pictures outside with the colorful trees. Both Kara and Kyle were positive and listened to me complain about the rain! After our wedding, Kara came up to me and said that the rain had stopped and had us go outside. She knew how much it meant to me to get a couple of pictures outside and she made it happen. She saved the day because she had a clear umbrella and the pictures she captured were absolutely stunning, so special to us, and very unique! I cannot tell you enough good things about them, they work together perfectly and are both so sweet. You will not regret choosing Kara as your photographer! 🤍 -

I work with MODE Events, and one of our DJs named Chris Mix worked with Kara and her husband on a wedding a couple of months ago, as well as on previous weddings. We were reminded of how fantastic they are BOTH to work with, and that we've been meaning to write a review! We couldn't be happier with Kara as our wedding photographer! From the beginning she completely understood our vision and was willing to do whatever it took to get the pictures that we wanted. She was so friendly and warm, and honestly every time we met with her it just felt like hanging out with a friend. Our pictures for both our engagement shoot and wedding were stunning. Amazing to say the least!
Kara Evans is amazing to say the least! She made our day one to remember and was so efficient and fun. It was a 95 degree day and our pictures were still outstanding. I love her work and everything she stands for! -

Taylor Sent on 09/25/2017Not only is Kara SO sweet, but she is incredible talented and SO helpful. She basically doubled as a second wedding planner throughout the months leading up to our big day! Kara was so supportive leading up to the day of our engagement photos and super helpful when I began picking out outfits. She is very easily accessible and answered all questions in a timely manner. She knows what she's doing not only as a photographer, but as a planner as well. She helped with our timeline, had the best advice for day-of questions, and knew how to keep the day rolling!
This wonder woman not only photographs, but takes the times to write blogs on each couple and to share wedding planning advice - WOW!
Kara Evans is a must when deciding on a wedding photographer! There is no one better!!

When we were starting our wedding planning, we weren't sure where or when, but we did know we wanted Kara. We're both familiar with her amazing work, so it was really a no brainer. Kara and her husband did out engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. I have never felt more beautiful than in my pictures they took. We have gotten so many compliments and even some photographer regrets from friends that wish they would have booked her! She is professional, easy to communicate with, has a great eye, but most importantly, she makes you feel so comfortable, you forget there is a camera on you. We cannot wait for another reason to use her in the future!
