To this day I still get compliments on how amazing my wedding photos turned out! I wanted a photographer that would truly capture my entire day, all the way through my guests having fun at the reception. She nailed it! Every emotional moment, smile, dance move, etc. She understood what I wanted to capture, was very organized and delivered an amazing product. Finally, her turnaround time on photos was so fast! A preview in 24 hours then the full photos were so fast. I know any bride will appreciate that :)

Choosing Kaila as our wedding photographer was easily the best decision we made! I planned my entire wedding long distance and Kaila was so helpful though the entire process. From giving me vendor recommendations, to driving across down to meet up for drinks when I was in town, to phone calls weeks before the wedding just to ease my wedding anxiety. She went above and beyond what I ever expected from a photographer. Her easy-going, fun, and bubbly personality made everyone so comfortable making for some amazing photos. Oh, and the PHOTOS. I may be a little bias, but they're my absolute favorite thing from my wedding. -

Please do yourself a favor and book Kaila for your engagement/wedding photos! Kaila came highly recommended from a family friend who used her for their wedding. My husband and I live out of state and the idea of booking all our vendors (not in person) created an additional stress, which Kaila helped ease so quickly. We scheduled a FaceTime date shortly after I contacted her and I immediately fell in love with her! Kaila was able to answer all my questions and over the 10 months of wedding planning became a big part of my wedding support team. Not only is Kaila the sweetest, most thoughtful person I have ever met, she is incredibly talented! Kaila and Dustin delivered beyond our expectations for our wedding photos and were so helpful on our wedding day. I promise if you book Kaila Cales Photography, you will not be disappointed! -

Ashley Sent on 09/21/2018My husband and I met Kaila at our friends wedding. She actually snapped the four us doing the classic prom pose and from that moment, I knew I would love her. Kaila is so quirky, kind, funny and she knows what she is doing when she is behind the camera.
When my husband and I got engaged I actually reached out to Kaila before having an actual date set just to see how her schedule would look. As fate would allow, Kaila was available and it was the best decision. Kaila was very responsive and involved through every step of our planning process. She offered suggestions for various vendors and always knew how to make the planning process fun and exciting (because it does become overwhelming).
Our engagement session was the best. I knew I wanted to do something that just the standard outside sunset photos. After getting to know us, Kaila suggested going to Postino for photos and drinks (there was no way I could say no)! These photos turned out amazing and captured the fun side to my husband and I. The sunset photos were also SPECTACULAR!
As far as the wedding day, Kaila and her husband were phenomenal. They captured parts of the wedding I never saw. They captured moments of dancing, laughing and singing that will forever be cherished. They captured all the love that was shared that day.
If you are in need of a photographer I highly suggest you choose Kaila! She’s truly the best. -

Lauren Sent on 03/13/2018If you don't book Kaila for your wedding you are doing yourself a disservice!! We met Kaila at the Jan 2017 Bridal Expo, though we were still very early in the planning process and didn't feel ready to book a photographer; she checked in on us and even offered suggestions for other vendors! Because of Kaila I found our wedding venue; and we hadn't even booked her yet! She was flexible with scheduling our engagement session due to my fiance's tentative work schedule during that season. She responds to every email and text. She makes you feel like you're the only couple she is working with. Our families and friends RAVED about her and Dustin's presence during the wedding and the photos she delivered to us weeks before we expected them. Towards the end of our wedding night she handed us an iPad that had a few edited photos already and my fiance said "I would pay her double, worth every penny". I have not stopped staring at our wedding photos since we received them. She really enjoys the work she does which overflows into the product you receive. I have included some of our photos so future brides and grooms can see the work she delivers!

Rachel Sent on 12/09/2017Wow! Where do we begin? Kaila and her husband, Dustin, were the perfect duo for our wedding!
I met Kaila at the Phoenix Bridal Expo in January of 2017. I stopped to talk to a few photographers that day, but I didn't feel a connection with any of them until I met Kaila. She was easy to talk to, bubbly, and genuine. I took her card and told my fiance about her that night. After taking a look at her work on her website and comparing her with other photographers, we booked an appointment with her.
When we met Kaila, the appointment felt more like hanging with a friend. She genuinely wanted to get to know us. One of our favorite things about Kaila is how much she fell in love with our dog through the photos we showed her. She even started following him on Instagram (yes, I'm one of THOSE dog moms) before we chose her to be our photographer (Kaila=1, other photographers=0).
At our meeting, Kaila showed us some more of her work and was even able to share a gallery of photos of another wedding she had photographed at our same venue. It was so helpful to see a preview of what our photos might look like at the same location.
After our meeting, we ended up cancelling all of our other appointments with photographers because we knew none of the rest would come close to the bar that Kaila had set.
Our engagement session was a great way to get a feel for the awkwardness of taking photos before our wedding day! We are so glad we did them. Kaila chose a beautiful location for us. Afterward, we hung out in the area and got to know her a little better.
On the day of the wedding, Kaila came with her husband, Dustin, as a second photographer. They worked greatly as a team! We kept on schedule, and were able to get in all of the shots we wanted.
Afterwards, Kaila was able to edit all of our photos very quickly!
Overall, Kaila's quality of work and her personality are AMAZING! We would recommend her to everyone! -

Jess Sent on 10/23/2017How to start this? Kaila was straight up amazing. Not only does she produce beautiful photographs, but she is an amazing person. She's really organized and keeps things super chill. I had a horde of hungry bridesmaids that threw a wrench in my timeline, but Kaila just took it in stride. Her calm demeanor relaxed me and I didn't stress about it. She's really a genuine person, and her husband Dustin is too. They really are great. I was very surprised at how fast their turn around for our photos was, they had several edited photos displayed the night of the wedding on an iPad! I'm really excited to have so many beautiful memories of my wedding day. Honestly you should go with them, they are seriously the best. Do it, you'll really enjoy working with them.

Sarah Sent on 12/15/2016From the moment we met Kaila we knew she was the one. Literally, we met no one else after her because we felt an instant connection to her! The day we met her, we talked for over an hour before even talking about wedding photography. She was so personable that it felt like we had just been having coffee with a friend.
Kaila was able to meet not only our photography wants but worked with us to customize a package that fit what we wanted and what we could afford. Our first photography experience with her was our engagement photos. Being food bloggers, we dragged Kaila to a bakery to do our photos. Mind you, this was a working bakery and was pretty warm. It was worth it though because our engagement shoot was beautiful! We knew our wedding photos would be as well.
Kaila was amazing leading up to the wedding. She dealt with all of our (well most my) silly questions, concerns, and requests. She even made herself available to come to our venue ahead of time to scout it out despite the long drive. She suggested we do first look photos which my husband jumped on to. I, however, took a bit more convincing. Totally worth it (Kaila was of course absolutely right)!
Fast forward to the wedding. Kaila helped make our chaotic time frame work. We had a ton of travel time to accommodate for but she made it work. We got all of the photos we wanted and then some. Our photos were stunning and captured not only the day but the essence of our relationship and love. She is amazing at capturing not only a staged and pretty photo, but she captures moments. She really captured the love and relationship between my husband and me.
We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Kaila. She is absolutely fantastic. Not only was she our wedding photographer, but now we consider her our friend. If you become a Kaila Cales Couple you will understand this! -

Christina Sent on 10/04/2016Picking the perfect photographer was so important for our big day. We had to stick to a budget and we looked at what seemed like 100s of photographers. When we met Kaila she made us feel at ease from the very beginning. She clearly loves what she does and it shows in her work. Our engagement photos turned out amazing and from what we have seen of the wedding shots they are nothing short of fabulous. She really captured all the love in the room on our big day! She completely embraced our theme and brought the A game on Wedding Day. We would recommend Kaila 100 times over and over - she has clients for life! -

Alicia Sent on 08/10/2015Kaila was AMAZING!!! She made us feel so at ease and we were laughing all day with her. I usually HATE how I look in pictures and what I've seen so far brings tears to my eyes with how beautiful I look. The day after our wedding and she is all ready sending us pictures. She was extremely timely in responding to emails, always patient when we asked a million questions, and beyond helpful on our special day. She was worth every penny and I would recommend her to anyone!
