Amazing officiant !!!
Priscilla was our officiant for our recent big day and she was such a pleasure to work with!! She was so helpful with planning a ceremony and gave us lots of tips and great recommendations that I’ve never seen done at weddings before! My only suggestion for her would be a mic because some of our guests who were sitting closer to the back were not able to hear her but besides that she was amazing :)

Priscilla made it easy for us to mix and match traditions so we could create a ceremony that felt uniquely ours. She was professional, supportive, and such a calming presence. She knew exactly when to step in—like gently redirecting focus when someone tried to fix my dress—and when to step back, such as during photos. We were so happy that we found Priscilla as our wedding officiant! We were a little late to the party in finding an officiant for our wedding. We wanted someone who felt right for us, and we knew when we spoke with Priscilla that she would do an amazing job. She was so experienced and confident in her approach, that we immediately felt reassured that things would go well, when we were only a few weeks out from our wedding. The Ceremony of a Lifetime
Priscilla approached us when we were at a food tasting at our wedding venue, and we were instantly impressed. Her warmth and friendliness really demonstrated to us from the beginning that she was special. Our guests raved about Priscilla's words after the ceremony, and we were told by many that she was the best officiant they had seen. Our memory of the ceremony is hazy due to nerves and excitement, but our wedding video of the entire ceremony clearly shows her mastery of the English language, to evoke so many emotions in all who listen to what she says. We were so thrilled with working with Priscilla and we couldn't recommend her enough!!

We could not have been happier with the service we received from Priscilla. We initially had reservations with hiring someone who did not know us to officiate our wedding, but you would think that Priscilla had known us for years based on the ceremony she performed. She came highly recommended by our venue. Priscilla responded quickly to our inquiry and set up a FaceTime call with us to get to know our story. She took into consideration all of our values and gave us many options so that we could personalize the ceremony. We really valued all of the advice that Priscilla gave to us for how to make the ceremony special. Priscilla also gave us the option to come to her house and meet her personally prior to the ceremony. She was so knowledgeable and professional that we were completely calm on the wedding day. Priscilla was such a perfect JOP for us during our day. We pretty much had no clue where to even start in this process and she made it sooo easy. She asked us a series of questions and BAM- the best ceremony ever. Our ceremony was quick (what we asked for) but so meaningful and special. She is also very reasonably prices. Even if you do know what you want for your ceremony she will include anything you ask for. She was very flexible and easy to talk to as well. I definitely recommend Priscilla for you JOP :)

Priscilla helped us plan the perfect wedding ceremony for *us*. Though we had a number of non-traditional aspects to our wedding, such as incorporating an electrical-engineering inspired “circuit closing” portion, Priscilla was relentlessly encouraging and open to our ideas. She met with us several times to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and was very attentive to detail. Her extensive experience meant that she was able to advise and guide us through making a plethora of ceremony related decisions. During the actual ceremony, she kept things moving smoothly. Most critically, she was knowledgeable about the marriage license process and submitted the marriage paperwork promptly. Would recommend!

Book with JP Priscilla Geaney if you want the most incredible officiant service and more! She walked my husband and I through every decision in our ceremony, gave excellent advice for complex family dynamics (i.e. recently divorced parents/ how you accommodate for grandparents that can't be present). SO many reasons to book with JP Priscilla: Her advice, professionalism, responsiveness via email/phone, willingness to meet over Facetime and at her home, the way she handled the Marriage License process with care; I am so thankful for Priscilla Geaney! Working with Priscilla was great. My wife and I weren’t sure what we wanted to do for our ceremony so Priscilla guided us with many suggestions. She did a great job with our introduction and made everyone laugh. We wanted a light hearted and fun ceremony, and she 100% delivered. The perfect ceremony!
Priscilla was an absolute dream to work with, she is so gifted and was able to craft the perfect ceremony for us, and all through facetime since we live in a different state than where we got married! The ceremony was perfect and many guests thought we had known Priscilla for years! She was absolutely wonderful and we had were able to really enjoy our ceremony and be present.

Simply the best!
I absolutely *loved* working with Priscilla as our JP for our elopement/wedding. I really had no idea what to expect for the process and Priscilla patiently explained all of our options for the ceremony, presented thoughtful ideas for our consideration, and listened to what we did and did not want to include. It was clear that her number one priority was to create a ceremony that we wanted and reflected who we are as a couple—which she more than delivered on. After submitting our initial inquiry, which she responded to right away, we had a quick FaceTime to introduce ourselves and what we were initially thinking for the ceremony, which was followed up by a longer FaceTime closer to our wedding date, where we revisited what we wanted for the ceremony and Priscilla spent some time getting to know us as a couple. For the day of, Priscilla put together a beautiful ceremony that was exactly what we wanted (i.e., short & sweet) and which our families loved. Priscilla made the entire process so easy and stress-free, put together a perfect ceremony for us, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Priscilla and her thoughtfully created ceremony scripts!
She's thoughtful, genuine, and caring individual, who truly cares about her job and the couples she work with and immediately evident when you work with her. She's extremely supportive when it comes to creating a script that is unique and tailored to each couple, with their needs and wishes in mind.
As a wedding planner, I'm always looking for a responsive, punctual, and respectful team member and Priscilla is that and more!

Amazing Ceremony Experience
Priscilla was the JP for our wedding in September 2021 and we truly couldn't have imagined a more beautiful ceremony. She took so much time with us before the wedding to make sure it was personalized to us, and was really accommodating with a few last minute changes. She made us feel at ease and advised us on portions of the ceremony and even provided examples when we said we wanted to do our own vows. She made our ceremony feel so unique and special to us - our families and friends all agreed. We would highly recommend!

Perfect Officiant for our Elopement
Priscilla was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had planned to elope at City Hall in Boston, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, we were not able to do so. Our photographer suggested that we hire a Justice of the Peace, specifically Priscilla. From the moment we talked to her on the phone, we knew we had made the right decision and understood why so many couples have worked with her. She is a great listener and gave us a lot of guidance throughout the process (nobody really knew about our wedding, so she was a great resource). I asked if she would speak to my husband and me separately and the craft a ceremony combining both conversations, and she was more than willing to do that. The result was an incredibly poignant, loving, and personal ceremony that we are so grateful to have had. Thank you again, Priscilla!

Priscilla is a dream!
When we met Priscilla, we immediately felt comfortable with her and knew we had made the right decision to chose her as the officiant for our ceremony. She is kind and caring and will work with you to make sure your ceremony is exactly how you picture it. Our wedding was originally scheduled for March 2020 in a Boston hotel, but cancelled just a week out due to COVID-19. We quickly worked with all of our vendors to find a new date that worked for everyone. We rescheduled to August 2020. During that time, Priscilla immediately reached out and told us that she would be more than happy to marry us on our scheduled March date if we desired. After much thought, we decided it was the best thing to do and we are so glad Priscilla offered that option to us. Even though it was not what we originally planned, she married us on that day, but recommended we keep some things for the ceremony in August to keep it special, such as the exchange of vows/promises and exchange of rings. So glad we did that!
In July, we found out from the hotel that they would not be open for our August date, which put us in a really tough place. We did not want to postpone again. We decided to cancel and change our plans. Ultimately, our wedding was moved to a private yacht. Priscilla was very accomodating given the change of venue and also with the risk/worries of COVID-19. She was just that we were finally making it happen and that she could be a part of it. In the end, we did get married on our August date and Priscilla truly made sure that our ceremony flowed perfectly and was incredibly professional. We are so grateful that we found her. She is truly made for this kind of work and we would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Priscilla is truly the BEST! I will recommend her time and time again. She's extremely passionate about what she does and it shows! Priscilla was extremely flexible and helpful throughout the whole process from the moment we got in touch through to marrying us. My husband and I had to adapt our wedding plans at the last minute due to covid-19 and decided to elope at our alma mater where we met. We needed a Justice of the Peace at the last minute and Priscilla came highly recommended. She was everything we could have asked and more!!! She reassured us of all the little details, she took time to speak with us over the phone a few times and talk to us on FaceTime to learn about our story and plan the logistics of the big day. During the ceremony, she made sure to make it personal to us and incorporate little details of our story throughout her speech. We were very nervous about the day considering the circumstances but she made it perfect. We have nothing but praise for Priscilla!

Thrilled with Priscilla & our multicultural ceremony
My husband and I had talked to several other JP's before finding Priscilla, looking at each other, and knowing she was the right one for us. She reminded us of some of our favorite elders in our families. We met with her 3 or so times, and it was incredible working with her as we figured out how to meld our stories, families, and cultures together. My husband is Persian, and it was important to us to have a modern, secular wedding while also including the best parts of a traditional Persian ceremony. Priscilla helped us navigate and craft a ceremony that honored both our families and cultures, while also making it entirely our own and about our relationship. She gave wonderful advice at every turn, and she put so much effort into helping us explain the Persian traditions to our audience that included many Americans and Persians alike. We highly recommend her for any marriage ceremony, including those that are very nuanced and multicultural. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have Priscilla marry us. Our best day
Our wedding was exactly the way we had pictured it! Our ceremony was amazing! My husband and I were so nervous about the ceremony as neither one of us really enjoy the "all eyes on us" feeling. Priscilla put us at ease, really took her time to get to know us as a couple, and even gave us some tips on writing our vows! Our guests all commented on the personalized touch that Priscilla brought to our ceremony, her words were beautiful and her style was just what we could have hoped for. Priscilla was so easy to work with from the moment we started planning, to the rehearsal, straight through to the day of our ceremony! We could not imagine being married by anyone other than Priscilla. From the moment we first all met she provided us with can only be described as comfort. With her infinite knowledge of weddings and ceremonies, Priscilla took us through all the ins and outs of what we could be doing to make this the best experience not only for each other, but our families as well. This is an important day for all and with my father being recently deceased, Priscilla made sure to take steps to comfort me and include him as well. Made our ceremony the best it could be!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Priscilla for our wedding on April 28th of 2018. From the first day we met Priscilla at a wedding expo to the day we walked down the aisle everything was absolutely perfect. Priscilla got to know us in the short amount of time we worked together and catered our ceremony to our specific vision. Priscilla made us feel comfortable with ourselves in our declaration of love for each other. We were more than happy with the ceremony Priscilla helped us to organize. The personal touches she was able to add to our ceremony, along with her guidance in writing our own vows, and involving our family in the ceremony lead to an end product we will never forget. From the beginning she was very warm and welcoming and provided us with a lot of ideas that helped us define our ceremony the way we liked it and made it special. The oathing stone was a lovely idea and it looks great on our mantle ;) Friends were very impressed about how she made everyone participate of the ceremony. She was also very witty and was able to play along with Onix's flubs and nerves :) We loved how she kept the ceremony going on beautifully. We appreciate very much having her be a part of this.

Priscilla is amazing! My husband and I met with her twice prior to our wedding day and worked with Priscilla to create a wonderful and really unique ceremony. My husband's father has passed and Priscilla helped us come up with a really unique way to honor him during the ceremony by having the groom and his groomsmen take a shot of his dad's favorite drink! She also helped us incorporate our mom's into the ceremony by having them present us with our wedding rings. Everything was really special and very intimate and most important, very us. We heard from many friends and family how special our ceremony was and we have Priscilla to thank for playing a huge role in helping create such a beautiful beginning to our marriage!

Priscilla was great to work with and had many good suggestions and options of things we could include in our ceremony, tailoring to be exactly what we wanted. We were married in Salem, MA but currently live in Canada, and Priscilla was so accommodating, working with us over Facetime so she could get to know us and figure out the ceremony together. On the day of the wedding, everything went very smoothly and just how we wanted- a simple and short, but meaningful ceremony. Thank you Priscilla!

There's no one better at providing a calm, reassuring presence and good ideas during wedding planning, the rehearsal, and on the actual day than Priscilla. I love Priscilla! She is so sweet! She was recommended by my venue and my husband and I are so happy with our decision with her being the Officiant for our wedding. We met Priscilla at her house where she walked us through with step by step of the ceremony and what to expect. She was very detailed and took the time to explain everything to us. She asked us questions about how we met and what we loved about each other to get to know us more. I could tell she was passionate about the work she did. She was also very prompt in replying back to emails. We loved having her as our Officiant and would also recommend her to newly engaged couples :) P.S. She has the cutest maltese ever!

Priscilla was and still is the perfect choice for a Justice of the Peace. My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and I couldn't go another day without writing a RAVING review for her. She kept the intimacy we were craving for a ceremony and really took the time to get to know us. She has a wonderfully warm personality and concentrates on you as a couple. All of our guests said how meaningful our ceremony was and it was the perfect length as well. It was a perfect day and Priscilla helped make it memorable in the best way possible.

I cannot write high enough praise for Priscilla. She has a warm and calming sense about her - sure to make any bride feel in good hands. She was very responsive the whole way through the planning and wedding process. We had an initial meeting, where she welcomed us into her home and asked questions like how we met and what we love about each other. She took notes and used what she learned to help create a personal ceremony. She has so many interesting ceremony ideas and a book of vows and readings she has collected to help the couple get ideas for their own. She has the day-of down to a T: she helped the families sit in the appropriate places, checked in with us before hand to make sure we knew what is going on, guided us through our parts of the ceremony, and delivered the most heart-warming, personalized ceremony. After the ceremony was over, she gave me a quick hug goodbye, and left us to enjoy our reception. She is just excellent.

For a couple that had no idea what style of ceremony we wanted, Priscilla was amazing. She really was able to sit down and learn about us and what we wanted from our vows and readings and traditions to come up with a plan that fit us perfectly. It was a great mix of family participation, emotional moments, and she spoke a true testament to the relationship that my husband and I share. It was simple and complete without being wordy and had a traditional/non-traditional vibe that is very “us.” She made the rehearsal a breeze the day before and was very flexible on meetings. I would recommend her to anyone.

Priscilla is truly the most wonderful person in the world! From meeting her at her beautiful house for our initial meeting, to our rehearsal, and finally our big day--she didn't stop being amazing. At our first meeting she walked through every detail with her regarding our big day. She gave us multiple copies of promises, vows, blessings, and readings to look through, and helped us make sure we could actually articulate why we loved each other! :) She also has really great ideas for ways to make your ceremony unique and special to you as a couple. Our rehearsal went flawlessly. She is very familiar with Danversport venue and was able to take us step by step of the big day. She has this down to a science. Finally, the big day. What other JP will go back and forth between the bride and groom to make sure everybody has the right flowers!? She made multiple trips between our two groups to make sure everything was all set and still had a smile on her face! She was just so helpful throughout the entire process and made us feel like we were the only couple in the world who she has provided this service to. If you want a professional who will take care of you from start to finish, Priscilla is the person to choose!

THE BEST!!! If you are looking for an awesome, knowledgable, and professional JP who knows what she is doing, Pricilla is the sweetest, kindest, funniest JP I have ever met! She was recommended to me by my venue and has won numerous awards for her talent. She did an amazing job for our ceremony...everything went PERFECT!! She helped us plan everything for the ceremony. Priscilla officiated my recent wedding and she was a pleasure to work with. She really took the time to get to know my now husband and I. She offered wonderful suggestions to make our ceremony reflective of our personalities and add a lil somethinh different.

While researching officiants as a couple planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away, Priscilla was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. After researching a variety of officiants she was great for us financially and turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We met with her on multiple trips to the Boston area and each was welcoming and productive. We started with a meeting to get to know one another where she provided a totally relaxed atmosphere and worked closely with us to assist in getting things just right. We live in London and got married in Boston; not knowing anyone local, we relied on reviews to find Priscilla and we were not disappointed! She is an incredibly warm and spirited person who immediately set us at ease. In addition to being accommodating of our long-distance planning, Priscilla was there for us every step of the way, always checking in and making sure we were feeling relaxed.
We weren't sure at all what kind of ceremony we wanted other than a non-religious one, but Priscilla had so many wonderful suggestions, we didn't have to worry at all. In the end, we got a very personal and touching ceremony, and we couldn't have been happier! Priscilla is an amazing lady and we would unreservedly recommend her to anyone looking for a JP.
