Thinking back to when my husband and I thought we could plan a destination wedding all on our own, I am reminded of how overwhelming it was and what felt like going down neverending rabbit holes... Sure, a destination wedding can be less pressure than your traditional in-state wedding but that doesn't mean you are free from the decision fatigue. We were humbled right quick, lol!
All to say... Justbookit Travel, y'all are the REAL MVPs!!! When we had our first (complimentary!!!) consultation call with Shonte, we immediately felt the weight come right off our shoulders. To sum up what that consulation call consisted of.... All you need to know is we walked away feeling like we were the team's family and had all their unconditional support; right off the bat. There was no pressure to work with them, sign a contract, etc. Just pure and genuine vibes from a team who you can tell really cares and wants to help.
But boyyyy are we SO glad we didn't pass them up. We truly could not have planned our wedding or had the seamless wedding experience we did without this team. Even if concerns came up along the way (naturally as a bride this is just how our brains function, right?), JBIT was always there to guide and support us and never ever lost patience. They just get it.
The list of what this team can and will do to bring you peace is reeeeallll long. I know I said that post consulation call, we felt like a weight was lifted off our shoulders. Well... times that by like a 1000 when it came to narrowing down the resorts, building our website, coordinating with the resort, our guests, and so much more. Forgive me for not being able to dissect each and every single area because there are truly so many details (from small to large) they weave out. They were our backbone.
To be completely honest, working with this team didn't even feel like an enviroment of "Oh we hired them..." type thing. It was more than that. We built real authentic relationships with everyone we communicated with, and it truly felt like a family that was coming together to make the best day happen.
It's bittersweet now that our wedding has passed and we are not on a day-to-day communication basis with the JBIT team, but if you JBIT folks are seeing this - please know we are eternally grateful for you and y'all will forever hold a special place in our hearts! We think of you often and ANY opportunity we get to refer you, we are jumping up and down and shouting your name!!!

My wife and I used Just Book It Travel for our destination wedding at Finest Playa Mujeres, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about our experience.
From the very beginning, it never felt like we were just another wedding on a spreadsheet. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming, especially when you’re coordinating travel for dozens of guests, but they made the entire process feel manageable.
Our guests loved how easy the booking process was. Questions were answered quickly, communication was clear, and it was always easy to get in touch with someone when help was needed. We received countless compliments from guests about how smooth everything was.
What really sets Just Book It apart, though, is the personal touch. They are warm, inclusive, and genuinely care about their couples. Amazing planner!
Just book it travel was amazing and helped our wedding travel plans go smoothly. From the initial call through post wedding, they answered every single call and chat in a timely manner to support us! They offered many suggestions and were friendly with all of our guests which made them feel comfortable when booking. Prior to my husband coming across Shonte’ and Just book it travel, we interviewed other wedding planners and they did not nearly compare to just book it travel with the professionalism and incentives offered. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Shonte, Eddie, and their entire team. From start to finish, they made our destination wedding at Unico 2087 in Riviera Maya an incredible, seamless experience. We hosted a group of about 70 guests, which is no small feat.
Throughout the planning process, they were exceptionally clear, organized, and communicative. They always kept us informed about where we should be in the planning timeline, what decisions were coming next, and what had already been handled. That clarity gave us so much peace of mind, especially when planning a wedding from afar.

The Perfect Wedding Travel Team!
From our very first meeting, I felt like I had known Shonte for years. That instant connection gave me the confidence to let her and the Just Book It Travel team manage all of our wedding guests, which took so much pressure off of us as the couple!
They handled nearly 100 guests with ease, managing room blocks, hotel reservations, RSVPs, payments, and even ground transportation. On top of that, they created the cutest wedding guide so everyone had details about the resort, restaurants, and amenities right at their fingertips. We had a group of 32 guests to fly out to Tulum, Mexico for our Wedding and JustBookit made sure to take care of every detail. Cancun Destination wedding - June 2025
I want to start by saying I am not the type of person who enjoys planning events. I’m extremely indecisive and constantly worry about how every little decision will affect someone else—so needless to say, event planning is a nightmare for me!
But from the moment I met Shonte and her team, choosing to work with them was the easiest and fastest decision I made throughout the entire wedding process—and one of the best! My husband and I are so grateful we put our trust in them.
Shonte and her team set clear, honest expectations from day one. They were always communicative, responsive, and followed through on every question, concern, or situation that came up.
My family had nothing but amazing things to say about their professionalism and service. From the moment they paid the deposit for their stay, through the months of planning, all the way to arriving at the resort, I barely had to answer a single question. Every concern or need was handled directly by the team—without involving me—which I truly appreciated.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Just Book It Travel (JBT) and their local Cancun wedding planner partner, Claudia Solis, for our destination wedding—and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
JBT made the entire process of planning a destination wedding with 70 guests feel seamless for both us and our guests. Anytime guests had questions or concerns about their travel, we simply directed them to our JBT team and didn’t have to worry.
Some of the thoughtful extras they handled for us included: A virtual save-the-date survey to gauge guest interest, a beautifully designed virtual invitation, timely payment reminders, a helpful informational packet with travel and resort details sent one month before the wedding, and a Day-of reminder for welcome cocktail event.
They also invested a lot of effort into our wedding website, loading it with tons of useful details and making it super easy for guests to book within our room block. These thoughtful touches saved us so much time and effort, and truly enhanced our guests’ experience.

Each month, they requested an updated list of booked rooms and managed all resort communications. They also sent email and text reminders to our guests about booking rooms, setting up travel, and making sure passports were ready. They seriously took care of everything travel-related, which was a huge relief! They even set up our honeymoon and got us an incredible rate. The best team EVER
Going with JustBookItTravel was literally the best decision my husband and I made when it came to our destination wedding! They held our hand through EVERY step of planning our wedding. More Than Just Travel Agent
I was referred to Just Book It Travel by a friend. The moment I spoke to Shonte, I knew we were going to be a great fit! I had shopped around and spoken to other travel agents and just did not get the same positive vibes as I did with Shonte. I also felt at ease because Shonte also planned and executed her own destination wedding in Mexico so she completely understands the process from start to finish. Shonte and her “dream team” were so communicative from start to finish. At one point I even had to change my wedding date and the team was more than accommodating. I know it was a huge headache for them on the back end but they handled everything with such grace and professionalism and never once complained.
Having a good travel agent and team is so critical to a smooth destination wedding, specifically when dealing with 75 guests! The dream team became more like your friends by the time my wedding rolled around. The team and I bonded through the entire process, so much so that I ended up inviting all of them to my wedding!
Planning a wedding is already stressful enough but a destination wedding on top of that adds on additional headaches. Just save yourself the trouble and hire Just Book It Travel! You won’t regret it. Their prices are so reasonable and trust me, they work your wedding as if it were their own. -

More than just a travel agent
I could go on and on about the quality and level of expertise and professionalism I received from Shonte and Just Book It Travel.
They were able to coordinate 80+ people, with flight delays, different budgets and time frames to fly down to our destination wedding!
Shonte and team were available whenever I needed them and provided guidance and advice on more than just travel but on resorts, wedding planning, videographers and so on. They eased my level of stress and gave excellent recommendations of vendors who were reliable and highly rated.

I can't even begin to express how lucky I feel to have come across Shonte and her team. After sending out an inquiry in a Facebook group, I researched quite a few agents before landing on Just Book It Travel. Being a pandemic bride and having a destination wedding was super stressful, but Shonte made the planning process a BREEZE. We began planning our destination wedding with Shonte’ in February of 2020—having absolutely no idea that a global pandemic was about to happen. Even with everything that we faced, she was an absolutely miracle worker. She made things happen when things stopped happening. Amazing experience
My (now husband) proposed to me on Christmas Day 2019. We immediately knew we wanted a destination wedding in Aruba and was referred to Shonte Tepper-Alce through a friend. She shared her own recent experience as a bride which helped me feel confident that she knew exactly what I was feeling from the excitement of planning a wedding to the anxiety of getting everything done. We chose Barcelo Aruba Hotel as our wedding location. Then Covid-19 hit!!! Shonte stayed in communication with us and helped us remain positive. She kept us abreast of Aruba travel updates and restrictions. Shonte was totally available to all our guests and answered all of their questions regarding travel and payment plans. Shonte reached out to the Barcelo Hotel directly and ensured that they were following Covid-19 protocols and that it would be safe for us and our guests. Shonte encouraged us to keep planning the destination wedding and I am so glad we listened!! Our amazing sunset beach wedding took place at the Barcelo Aruba Hotel on August 28, 2020 and was absolutely perfect!!! The hotel was safe and the staff followed all Covid-19 protocols. My wedding was super easy!
I had the pleasure of having Shonte coordinate my wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica in 2018 at a Sandals Resort. Shonte treated all of my guests with the upmost respect and patience. She advised me on tips to help my wedding run smoothly and she responded to all of my guests (80 people) promptly. Shonte is an excellent communicator and was able to notify guests on payment plans in the early stages to allow bookings to be smooth. Shonte also worked well with communicating with the venue to ensure my wedding went smoothly and just liked I planned. I highly recommend Shonte to anyone deciding to coordinate a destination wedding. -
