Judy provided wedding coordination services for my daughter’s November 1, 2025 wedding. During the entire process, Judy was highly responsive and lad attention to our budgetary constraints. Judy has a keen eye for selecting things that made the wedding and the reception absolutely beautiful and providing the perfect wedding for my daughter’s tastes and ideas. -

The Best Decision We Made (Besides Saying “I Do”)
We truly struck gold when we chose Judy as our wedding planner. We talked to several planners, but none made us feel as comfortable or as special as Judy did. From our very first meeting, we got so much done and she helped us put together a clear plan that made everything feel manageable right away.
Judy is extremely well connected in the DFW wedding world. She introduced us to an amazing baker for our wedding cake, a great graphic designer, the perfect florist, our drink package, getaway car, exit fireworks, and so much more. Every recommendation felt like the right fit — she really knows her stuff.
Communication with Judy was always great. She was easy to reach by text, calls, video, email, and in person, and always made time for us. She genuinely cares about her couples and puts in the effort to make sure their day reflects who they are and the story they’re telling.
On our wedding day, everything came together beautifully. From the décor and layout to the food, drinks, timeline, and our exit, the day flowed smoothly and was honestly so much fun. It was clear how much work Judy put in behind the scenes to make sure everything went off without a hitch.
We’re so grateful to have had Judy with us from start to finish. She made our wedding day something we’ll always remember, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us tie the knot. -

Exceptional Wedding Planning Experience!
My husband and I’s experience with Judy was exceptional from start to finish. Judy was unbelievably attentive, listened closely to every idea, and executed every detail with such care. My wife and I were so unbelievably grateful for Judy while planning our wedding and the weekend of. She was always 3 steps ahead in making sure everything was perfect and always made sure even the little things were good to go. She truly cares for people and goes above and beyond to accommodate any and all requests and always has a solution to seemingly impossible tasks. For example, the week of our wedding our DJ canceled and before we had even found out Judy had already lined up several other DJs to interview and that were available for the space budgeted price on short notice. Her reputation in the industry and professionalism make her the perfect right hand during what can be such a stressful time -

With my daughter living out of state- planning her wedding and factoring in her fiancé serving in the Marine Corps, I knew we needed a very special wedding planner to help us plan with the uncertainty of military life and the post COVID world of event planning that was surging from pent up demand. So when Morgan and Ryan were engaged right after Christmas in 2021, I was thrilled when they chose Judy Cordell Events to help plan the most important day of their lives together. Morgan’s sister, my daughter Jenn, was the Maid of Honor and together we served as Morgan’s boots on the ground as Morgan and Ryan were planning from afar. Without Judy Cordell Events, I have no idea how we would have pulled this off.
Judy and her team were there from day 1- helping us make the most important decisions in an orderly and well-orchestrated manner. Judy helped us review all the options and guided us as we made decisions and weaved everything together like an intricate puzzle. Every step of the way, all attention was on making sure every decision reflected Morgan and Ryan’s own dreams, priorities and budget to ensure the wedding day was specifically designed with their wishes in mind.
The team of vendors were as attentive and responsive as Judy Cordell Events. We loved each and every vendor from the awesome photographers to the talented hair and makeup team. And the florals and venue were simply gorgeous and exactly what Morgan was imaging. And as any of the typical and unexpected hiccups arose as we approached the day, Judy made sure to get everything smoothed out as expected with the notebook of signed contracts in hand.
As we approached the special day and experienced each second of Morgan and Ryan’s best day ever, there are so many touching moments that Judy and her team made sure were not missed. From the bridesmaid’s time in the bridal suite with the beautiful bride to the intimate ceremony to the joyous reception that was tailor made for the newlyweds, each moment brought so much joy and happiness to the day. And as we celebrated the bride and groom with glistening sparklers as they drove off, our family knew the newlyweds had a day they will never forget with the family and friends they love the most.
All of this was made possible with the expertise, patience, guidance, hard work and team of vendors provide by Judy Cordell Events. I highly recommend using Judy Cordell events and know any engaged couple who is fortunate to have Judy and her team by your side will have all their expectations met and their wedding day dreams will come true!

After our destination wedding in Cabo, we asked Judy to help us plan a reception in Texas. She helped us to create a vision that was different from our destination wedding and super personal to us. She offered so many valuable options to meet our needs! And, she made sure that we had the best vendors at the best prices.
She walked us through the process and took care of every detail to make sure that everything was perfect. I don't know if there is a harder working wedding planner. Judy is simply AMAZING!
I knew Judy from working at The Clubs of Prestonwood. My coordinator and I asked her to help plan an open house at the Club, two years in a row. After seeing her work the first year, I knew right then that she would be my Wedding Planner when that time came.
Well, that time came this year and I immediately called Judy! We had a short window of three months but I had no doubt in Judy that she would get it done.
She's not only the sweetest human being my husband and I have ever met but she is one of the best in the industry. She listens to all of your wants and needs, she guides you in the right direction if you're unsure about something, she's organized and extremely detailed, and she truly brings your vision to life!
Let me tell you, I had a fall themed wedding and wanted something different as my exit item. Judy's brilliant idea was for my guests to throw leaves in the air while my Husband and I ran through. To ensure it actually worked, Judy spent hours throwing leaves in the air then racking/collecting them all, over and over again! True dedication! We could not have asked for a more magical wedding, and Judy made that happen! We are SO thankful for her. She will forever be a part of our lives. -

A covid miracle!
Judy was a joy to work with! As a couple who planned and last-minute replanned their wedding, we cannot say enough great things about Judy's flexibity and willingness to accomplish our vision. Despite the many road blocks that COVID presented, my family was at ease because Judy took every detail into careful consideration. I can tell she loves what she does because I would get little texts from her throughout the week wherein she would mention how excited she was about a certain detail or make suggestions on how to accomplish our vision - it was in these moments I wondered if she thought more about my wedding than I did. By the end of the event, it felt like Judy was part of the family!
I'm sure there were hiccups throughout the wedding day, but I'll never know because Judy and her team did a wonderful job of coordinating with the vendors. My family is so thankful to have worked with such an amazing coordinator! -

Planning a wedding during COVID is not easy, but Judy made it happen. She brought our vision and dreams to light! With the constant changes during this time she was always there to handle issues if they arised. Judy spent so much time and put in so much effort to make sure we got what we wanted. She is truly an expert planner with a lot of experience and I felt this in the months leading up to our wedding. She thought of all possible scenarios, plans A/B/C and so many things I did not even think of. Even during the times I couldn't be present due to personal reasons, she was "on top" of everything and made the planning less stressful for me. She was responsive to each early morning emails and held open comunication and was flexible with plans and changes. My wedding day was magical and she did an incredible job setting up the wedding/reception with all of my decor. It was exactlly how I had envisioned!!! -

Judy! There is not enough words to describe this wonderful women. She took all my inspirations and made my day more than I could have asked for. I can honestly say that without her my wedding would not have turned out so great. She was super helpful in every aspect. She did not hesitate to help us with any request big or small. We asked Judy to be a part of our planning process early. We had three and half months to plan a wedding and she helped us execute this with grace and poise. Not only that but allowed us to focus on other priorities like our relationships and work. Her years of experience greatly helped us find vendors quickly and we had great experiences with all of them. She personally cared for us and were our fans during the planning process, on the wedding day and even after.
