People say something will inevitably go wrong on your wedding day...but our wedding was flawless (at least from what my husband and I knew!) Other than a tardy limo driver, that was the only slip of the day...and even that's a stretch (pun intended...wah wah).
For many of my younger cousins, this was the first wedding they have ever attended (as I mentioned, I'm the oldest/first of 15 cousins to get married)I and my aunts are telling their kids, "not every wedding is REMOTELY that fun/awesome...this was not normal, so don't get used to it!"
Everything....everything was amazing! But most importantly, everyone had an absolute BLAST!
I highly recommend Bre and her team for your wedding! She was responsive, sweet, flexible and super professional.

My wedding couldn't have been more perfect thanks to Bre and her team from Joyful Weddings & Events. I had to rely a lot on phone calls and emails since I currently live in Hawaii, but luckily, Bre was more than willing to work with me (even with a 3 hour time difference). It really helped that she shared my same vision, and I always felt like I was ultimately the one behind the wheel. She made calls, visited venues, and made sure that everything was taken care of. On my wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing and I felt comfortable trusting her from the very beginning! Our wedding was even featured on the wedding blog Every Last Detail and was printed in San Diego Style Weddings magazine :) Thank you again for the perfect day and memories to last a lifetime! I absolutely recommend using them for weddings and any other life events. I hope one day to work with them again, maybe for a possible baby shower? :) -

Danae at Joyful Weddings and Events is WONDERFUL! Not only is she professional, but she is calm (and for a bride that is great!) at the same time. She was always so prepared with all the Joyful Wedding paperwork to keep organized. She was very timely, knew what she was doing, and handled everything with ease. I did not have to worry at all during my big day because I knew she would make it look exactly as we had talked about. I would highly recommend working with Joyful Weddings and Events because they will work so hard at making your event exactly like you want it! -

So when we chose our wedding venue, we knew it was a place that did not include any services and that we had a lot of work cut out for us. In looking at our budget for the entire celebration and how much money we spent on everything, we think the best value of all was hiring Bre from Joyful Wedding and Events to be our Day-Of Wedding Coordinator. We met up with her in person before we hired her and knew after a quick meeting that we wanted to hire her and and that she would do a good job. She is a good listener, very organized, and seems to love helping make people's weddings go smoothly. If we had not hired her we do not know how everything would have got done.
After we hired her she drove out to meet up with us and all of our other vendors (caterer, party rentals, etc.) out in Palm Springs a month before our wedding just to make sure we were all on the same page.
On the weekend of our wedding Bre and her assistant Shireen worked tirelessly. And when I say tirelessly I really mean it. It was over 100 degrees and both of them were working non-stop running around making sure everything was taken care of, and most of all making sure everyone was happy. Even when their job was done they continued to find more to do, from moving gifts to our hotel room, to gathering center-pieces. They helped make our day very special and if we ever need someone to help with another event or if we hear of anyone needing a wedding coordinator, Joyful Weddings and Events will be the ones to call! -

Bre and Courtney brought it all together. 2 months before my wedding I decided I really needed a wedding planner. They came in and REALLY helped me out. Courtney and Bre spent an entire day with me at the hotel to map out the rentals, create a rough itinerary and organize the vendors. They are reasonably priced and completely sweet. -

We hired Courtney as our "Day-of-Coordinator" and she was fabulous! In the weeks/days leading up to the wedding we had a lot of correspondence and she was always quick to respond to my questions, additions, updates, etc. Anytime I told Courtney a detail I knew that she had taken note of it and would not miss it on the day of the wedding. As a result of her conscientiousness leading up to our wedding day, on the day of the wedding I was completely foot-loose and fancy-free! Not a care in the world! I literally did not think about one logistical detail that day. I simply enjoyed the people and the beautiful day and the awesome occasion!
Hiring Courtney is a great decision. She is extremely professional and reliable and at the same time a genuinely nice person who will get things done without being pushy, stressed out or overbearing. Her calm presence is definitely a great attribute of hers and makes her great at what she does.

Courtney is amazing. I probably would not have heard about her if she didn't go to my church! She made my day go as smoothly as possible. Everything was on time. To the T. She set it up beautifully, answered all my questions and then some, had super helpful meetings and is a genuinely beautiful person. I love her. -

We would have been completely lost without Courtney. My husband and I wanted to have a destination in Palm Springs at a venue that didn't have its own catering or any recommended vendors. We also wanted a very unique 1960's vintage look and we were on a tight budget. Courtney made everything happen: she found us vendors, designed all the decor, took care of the florals and lighting, she brought our vision to life making it cohesive, stylish and affordable. She helped us with so many things along the way and was great about responding to emails, making appointments and keeping us on track. But most of all we were so grateful for her being there the the day of the wedding. Again, the joyful team took care of everything, setting up to our specifications, laying out all of the decor items, keeping us on schedule. I really don't know how we could have pulled it off without them. It all turned out great and I've gotten so many compliments on how fun and stylish the wedding was. I can't thank her enough for making our wedding so wonderful and helping us with all the planning. -

I contacted Courtney after finding Joyful Weddings and Events online. My wedding was only a few months away and I had done everything myself up to that point. Needless to say I was really stressed out. She came in and took the reigns and made my life so much easier. She handled all the vendors and made sure everything was on track, developed a timeline for my big day etc. My wedding could not have been more perfect and I really have her and her team to thank! They even went to my hotel room during the reception and decorated it with tons of rose petals and candles so I could surprise my new husband after the wedding!
Not to sound cheesy but my dreams really came true! On top of that I enjoyed my wedding and didn't stress out at all!!!!

Courtney at Joyful Weddings and Events was a delight to work with. My husband and I had a relatively short engagement of six months and we both have really busy schedules. Courtney stepped in and really eased the burden of planning and helped to pull together our vision for the wedding. She worked with the caterer when I got overwhelmed, sat in on meetings with our florist and helped me make tweaks. She provided me with recommendations for other vendors and went on the hunt for the perfect chocolate brown linens. The day of she made sure the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. When I first saw the reception room it took my breath away. It was just perfect. She helped keep us mostly on time all night long and just allowed me to enjoy myself. We had the perfect wedding. One of my bridesmaids is getting married next year and kept Courtney's schedule for the wedding as an example to use for own! Thanks Courtney! -
