Spectacular Wedding Brunch Planned and Catered

We were introduced to Paula when planning our wedding at Viscaya Gardens. We were planning a brunch with our family after the wedding ceremony. From the initial introduction, customized food selection, and execution, we found it a pleasure to work with Paula. The brunch was exactly how we had hoped and envisioned. Through the entire process, Paula was communicative and accessible with her timely responses and extremely accommodating. It is clear she takes a great deal of pride in her work. I would highly recommend working with her.

Amazing!!!!

a JOY!!!!!

Joy Wallace Catering was literally an absolute JOY to work with. My main point of contact was Samantha and she was so great with communication via email and even text message for convenience. Our wedding was a cocktail reception and they understood our vision when it came to food stations and appetizers. The quality of food was delicious- our guests were raving!! During the wedding, the team made sure the bride and groom had a plate to eat and even packed us some for the end of the night. This team was amazing and I would recommend for any events big or small!!

We used Jay Wallace Catering for a grand re-opening celebration and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them! From start to finish, their service was professional, timely, and accommodating. The team helped us to get the perfect menu created for our event and executed every detail as promised. Unbelievable night!

Joy Wallace was our absolute perfect choice for our daughter’s quinceañera. Every detail was done to perfection. The food was beyond delicious and every guest was raving about it. Teen station was a hit for teens and even adults. They took care of our event as if it was done for somebody of their own family and every step of the process we felt like that, family!

After months of my wedding date, I still could not be any happier with my decision in hiring A Joy Wallace Catering! People that attended our wedding still talk about the food and drinks from that night. I wish I could relive it all again! Katia worked with me every step of the way. She was so sweet, attentive, and organized. I believe that there are a few things you just cannot cheap out on and food/drinks is one of them. I guarantee that at the food tasting alone you will be blown away and so happy with your decision in choosing them for your event. At the tasting they served us a passion fruit mojito and we immediately knew that had to be the drink of the night at our wedding (I'm not even the biggest fan of mojitos). While hiding & waiting to be announced as Mr. & Mrs. at the reception, A Joy Wallace gave us hors d'oeuvres & drinks since we spent that cocktail hour taking photos (so thoughtful!). At our reception the food came out on time, hot, and DELICIOUS! We added the late night bites to our contract and I will say it is a MUST! Being the bride you're kind of pulled around by people so I missed the late night bites during the event. However, as we were leaving the venue at the end of the night, A Joy Wallace packed us a to-go bag full of food. So grateful!! I seriously could not have picked a better caterer. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Event was a going-away-to-college celebration for my daughter. Staff was very professional and attentive to guests. Setup was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. A quick rainfall fell right before event began and staff immediately picked up and covered tables despite the fact that they were getting drenched. In a matter of minutes the rain stopped and the set up looked amazing again. Staff was knowledgeable and knew what to do. Food was presented amazingly, cooked on site and delicious. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Our experience with A Joy Wallace was nothing short of perfection! We worked very closely with Katia for a year and a half and she was AMAZING! Very prompt and flexible in our requests (and there were MANY haha) and always willing to work with us! The food, service, professionalism, everything was perfect! Our wedding day was truly the best day ever. We have gotten soooo many compliments, even from the toughest critics! {try that Yuca mash and you’ll feel the same! Haha} They truly made wedding planning and the day of an absolute breeze! I would recommend them in a heart beat! ❤️

Working with A Joy Wallace Catering was an absolute dream. From the start, we felt special like if we were the only event they were working on. On our wedding day, they were absolute perfection including offering our guests umbrellas from the ceremony to the reception when unexpected rain came in. My groom and I felt like royalty with the attention they gave us. The food was delicious - chicken was juicy and risotto was perfection. Our guests could not have been more happy.

Working with A Joy Wallace was a great experience. I worked with Sabdy and Cristine and they were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Every time I changed my mind, asked for a favor, or simply had a question they were there and more than willing to ease my stress. They took care of everything in regards to tables, chairs, silverware, linens, glassware, food & drinks; it was a big load off my back to know I had such great professionals handling such important aspects of my wedding. They met with me anytime I requested and always made themselves available, even after hours. I had a specific drink I wanted to serve & some late night snacks I wanted to bring in and Cristine waited for me after 5:00 PM to get the stuff. Cristine was present the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. They paid so much attention to detail that one of our appetizers had BBQ sauce & my husband noted he did not like BBQ sauce at the tasting and his platter, the day of wedding, was without BBQ! It's the small things that make their service truly exceptional. The staff was amazing - all of my guests enjoyed the food and never had an empty glass. The food was exceptional, I still have people asking me about the "yuca aligot" today - highly recommend it!

From day one, I knew I wanted food to be a priority at my wedding. My husband and I are both foodies, so we knew we wanted to use the best caterer in Miami. We began searching as soon as we got engaged, because we knew we wanted to take our time finding the very best! From the very first phone call I ever made to AJW, they were such a pleasure to work with. Sara Silver was so extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and her attention to detail was incredible.
The day of our tasting was nothing short of magical. I knew that I would enjoy the tasting more than the wedding just because of all the emotion of the day, so I really soaked in every moment of the tasting. We sat at a beautifully set table with a gorgeous flower centerpiece. We got to taste every single piece of food that we were going to serve at our wedding. We even got to taste every bread selection the guests would have. Every single dish outdid the last. We could not believe that food at a wedding could taste as good as a 5-star restaurant! To make the experience even more special, Joy herself sat at our table with us throughout the entire 3 hour tasting! What an unforgettable experience!
Our wedding day was just as perfect! This top notch catering company served 253 people at The Bath Club in Miami Beach. All my guests were so impressed with the service and they could not stop talking about how amazing the food was. My husband and I have been to hundreds of events and AJW has been by far the best!!! I cannot thank AJW enough for the wedding of my dreams!

We had an AMAZING experience with this company. First, when we parked they had a special spot reserved for us with our name and that was the smallest detail but a special touch. Then we sat down at a decorated table as if it were wedding guests and Joy Wallace sat down for the tasting with us. That was absolutely incredible, and so important to know that the owner of this company takes everything personal and serious. As we were eating we saw an old friend of ours and to know that they employ great people is also so important to us. We hired them for our wedding day and were not disappointed. Usually wedding food tastings are always better than the actual reception, but almost all our guests commented on how amazing the food was and we were so pleased. Joy also came to our wedding and it really was an amazing experience, I would absolutely hire them again for a big event. Food was great, service was amazing (we had a server follow us around during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, getting us drinks, etc.) Honestly, I would do it all over again. Loved the experience, food, and the service they provided.

As much as we booked our venue, Comber Hall, because we loved the space, we booked it because we loved and trusted the site's dedicated client coordinator, Tatiana Cardenas. From the start, she was very transparent about cost, understood what we wanted, and made every effort to personalize our affair.

As for A Joy Wallace Catering, the quality of the food and the service was beyond compare. Our guests raved about the food --- it was delicious and memorable. The staffing was professional and robust. We are not party people and we want to throw another party so that we can work with Tatiana and A Joy Wallace Catering team again.

Tatiana Cardenas and her team at Joy Wallace did such an AMAZING job on our wedding day. The attention to detail and genuine joy for hospitality radiates through their service and commitment to excellence in catering. Truth be told, we initially had the preconceived notion that no one would ever remember what meal they were served in the midst of celebration but we have been OVERWHELMED with comments from family and friends on how incredible the food and service was. We had heard great things about Joy Wallace, but even those reviews understated how truly amazing this catering company is. Every meeting, phone call, and email demonstrated such incredible professionalism, and it is very evident that they breed that same professionalism throughout the entire company.

Our event coordinator was Tatiana Cardenas. Tatiana was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! She was so kind, incredibly helpful, very responsive, and extremely intelligent. We had so many questions and Tatiana helped us out with every single one. She answered emails almost instantaneously and always with a smile. She gave great advice. We will definitely stay in touch with her for years to come as our friend. We just loved her!

We got married on January 17, 2015 at Church of the Little Flower and the reception was at Comber Hall.

The Joy Wallace team arrived right on time for set up. Tatiana and Beatriz were there to make sure everything went perfectly! We even got to hang out with Beatriz before the guests arrived downstairs for the reception, and she was so nice and thoughtful. We tried all the appetizers and they were ALL AMAZING!! YUM. Then had our delicious meal (beef tenderloin with shrimp accompanied by their famous risotto) The caprese salad course and the bread and whipped butter were phenomenal. Now, let’s talk about the late night desserts (crème bruele/maple bacon donuts, chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodle cookie with milk shooters) Fantastic! Everyone thought they were delicious!!

Every single guest was RAVING about the food, and we couldn’t have been more happy. So many guests said the food was the best part of the wedding – and it’s true! The Joy Wallace team was so kind and super organized. Everything was planned down to the minute and executed perfectly.

We will DEFINITELY recommend Joy Wallace to everyone looking for a caterer!

My wedding day could not have been the same without Joy Wallace. My coordinator Tatiana Cardenas was incredible. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. From my initial consultation when I arrived, they had a parking spot reserved for me to the actual day of, there was not a step along the way that they faltered. Our reception was held at Comber Hall and AJW provided the catering. From day one, Beatriz (our coordinator) was so sweet, personable, helpful and patient! Every question, email, and concern we had, she answered immediately and gave very helpful suggestions/advice. They worked very well with our budget and provided top of the line service. The food was delicious, service was amazing. All of our guests are still raving on how attentive the staff was and how beautiful the night was. They were also very attentive to my husband and I, we were able to sneak off to the reception room while cocktail hour was happening, and AJW was there with champagne and Hors d'oeuvres for us :)
I am so glad Comber Hall has AJW as their exclusive caterers!! I could not have asked for a more perfect night. Thanks to AJW team and Beatriz!

The team from A Joy Wallace was nothing less than superb. Since over a year Tatiana Cardenas was was helping me every step of the way for my destination wedding catering and rental needs.

She was extremely helpful, flexible, and incredibly friendly. Words cannot express how thrilled I was with this company's services.

I started my relationship with AJW and Tatiana on my first trip to Miami to scout some venues for my wedding. Tatiana met me at a couple of locations and catered to all my needs.

My heart was set on an authentic Nicaraguan cuisine meal for my wedding and Tatiana made sure everything her chef prepared for my tasting was not only authentic, but delicious, and affordable.

After a few tastings in person and via Facetime with my bridesmaids and my mother, we finally got my menu and signature drinks exactly how we wanted.

This team was exceptionally passionate about their work and their food and it showed. My family and my guests could not stop talking about the exceptional level of service from the waitstaff and how delicious the food was.

I recommend this company to any bride that is looking for a company that will go the extra mile for them.

Tatiana was that person for me and my wedding was everything I ever dreamed it could be!

A-MAZING!! From start to finish, they were simply first class! The food was impeccable, the service was flawless, and the presentation was beautiful! Tatiana was our contact person, and she was perfect! Every request was handled, and she suggested new and creative options that the wedding guests raved about! For late night snacks, they recommended mini eggs Benedict and crime brûlée donuts that were to die for!! I kept changing my mind, and I think there were 9 revisions before our final invoice! But they were always professional and accommodated every single one of my last minute additions. I will continue to use them for any catering needs I have in the future. I can't recommend them highly enough!

A Joy Wallace catered our daughter's destination wedding in Miami a few weeks ago, and we are extremely happy with the results. The presentation was beautiful, and everything was fresh and delicious, just as it had been at the tasting several months earlier. A number of our guests said that the food was the best they had experienced at a wedding. Kelley, our contact person, was very helpful. As I write this I don't know how to put into words that will fit this page on how many ways I was taken back and amazed by this company. This company inspires me in so many ways as I am a person who lives for all the little details and a perfectionist in every way. This team of experts when it comes to event planning are more organized and coordinated than Congress and The Whitehouse on an Innauguration LOL... I am so impressed with so many things from the coordination, to organization and how they got every single detail and idea from me and transformed it into the most special and intircate Wedding I couldn't even dream of myself. This group kept everything within our budget without going over and made my wedding look as amazing as a celebrity TV event. I will have family and friends still talking to me for decades on how amazingly beautiful this event was. From flower arrangements to the catering.. Also some people that really helped make my dream special were Adelle & RIchard who took so many amazing notes to detail with my decor and design of this wedding. Joy Wallace is an exceptional catering and design company. We got married at Vizcaya Museum in Miami on 12/08/12 and Joy Wallace Catering and Design did a fantastic job. Not only are they professional, creative and talented but all the staff were kind and compassionate. I felt like the team became our family as we planned together a perfect wedding weekend in Miami. The FOOD was a hit and guests could not stop talking about the many creative dishes that were served. The decor was exactly what we planned and the service was first class! I could not have asked for a better team and I am thrilled that we were able to work with Joy Wallace's team. Kelley and Richard were absolutely amazing to work with...what a dynamic duo!!!

I am so happy we found Addy!!! Addy helped my fiance and I plan our small wedding in Bal Harbour on the beach. It was more beautiful than I expected! Addy was wonderful to work with and helped make our special day so memorable! She responded timely to my emails and calls, was extremely helpful in proving vendor resources, making all of the calls and setting up my ceremony, very professional and even pulled everything together with a last minute change in date because of inclement weather. She also added in some special surprises for us that were so thoughtful.It was really a pleasure to work with her and we are thrilled with the outcome of our event. Thanks again Addy! A Joy Wallace Catering helped create the wedding of my dreams at the Deering Estate of February of 2010. The food quality and presentation supassed my every expectation. My guests still talk about the food at my wedding being the best they have ever had. We went to the tasting and the Chef personally discussed all of her creations. There was not one ingredient I would have changed but wondered how will they produce 150 plates at this quality? Well they did! The event specialist are with you every step of the way leading up to your big day and the fact that you have someone there you trust running the day of is a priceless additional value to their services. Their team is simply top notch professionals that you can count on for everything. Being in the business myself my expectations were very high and they far surpassed it. My fiance and I were from NY and having a wedding in Miami. It was stressful enough to plan a wedding so far away, But the Joy Wallace team made everything so easy! It's a one stop shop if you choose to use all of their services which we did! The food was excellent that almost 2 years later my guests still talk about it. The team at JWC&P treated us like family from the first consult!! They were extremely accommodating with our schedules since both our families are from out of town.

Sabdy and Richard went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was unforgettable. It is almost been a year to the date and we are still receiving rave reviews form family and friends.

Richard understood my vision from day one and his amazing talent and professionalism made the design process a pleasure. Everywhere you looked there were amazing flowers and decor touches.

Sabdy kept me updated at all times and made sure I was happy during the entire day. She is quick and reliable and always got back to me with amazing energy and happiness. She was as excited for the wedding as us.

I have recommended the team to family and friends and can not wait to work with them again! If you want first class service look no further!

The team at AJW is professional, creative, attentive and absolutely wonderful to work with. We could not have been more impressed with the attention to detail and the level of service we received when planning our wedding for the past year. Everything from the flowers to the food to the staff was perfect on our wedding day and we keep getting compliments on all... Our wedding coordinator, Mayrelis Febles, was fabulous and kept us sane and happy through the entire process!! Hope to be able to work with AJW again in the future.

All I can say is amazing! From the moment I met with their staff, and Joy Wallace herself, I fell in love! Joy was soooo sweet and made it a point to make us feel like we were part of her family. The service was impeccable...they thought of everything and handled everything. Mayrelis helped us along the planning stages and was uncommonly understanding and accommodating! They assigned us a "point person" (Andrea) for the day of our wedding and she was incredible. She anticipated every one of our needs, whether catering related or not, and made sure our families were taken care of throughout the night so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. She was on top of everything, and I mean everything, down to making sure mine and my husband's glasses were full all night long with our favorite wine. Needless to say the food was superb...our guests are still talking about it 8 months later! Joy Wallace Catering was way beyond our expectations and way beyond what any other caterer in town could have done. There just simply aren't enough words!

A Joy Wallace will blow you away. Not only is the team extremely attentive and organized, but they are also very creative. I had some very specific ideas about what I wanted in terms of food and they listened to everything I had to say and executed everything perfectly!! And of course, the food was delicious. Seriously I have had so many people tell me how the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding, hands down. I strongly recommend them.

On the decor side I was equally impressed. The team worked for several months to perfect the decor and flowers vision. I could not believe how beautiful everything turned out. They will listen to everything you have to say and find a way to make everything work. Amazing!

We looked far and wide for a caterer for our wedding. We wanted a company that we could feel confident could handle the job (100 person wedding - so not soo big, but at a venue without a kitchen) and could appease us with a couple special items that we wanted on the menu (I was insistent on a caprese salad and a mojito specialty cocktail, and my man wanted a dual plate main course of beef and fish). Like everyone, cost was definitely an issue. And the more, we search the more we realized that comparing caterers is not an apple to apple deal. So, we found ourselves choosing based on the capability of the caterer, and the professionalism and level of interest of the catering rep. We were taking long lunches and time off of work to meet representatives who were totally disinterested in hearing what we wanted, and more interested in making the sale and moving on. It was disgusting.

AJoyWallace isn't like that. From the moment we first called them, they were very courteous, and very helpful in helping us to sort out what would be served at our main event and how the whole event would go down. It was like it was as important to them as it was to us. And, they didn't try to push us to do something their way. They listened to what we had to say, and gave us options to choose from that were in line with our ideas. They understood that cost was an issue, and they would try to help us to keep the costs down while still getting the experience we were looking for. AJoyWallace is not cheap. They were the most expensive of the caterers we looked into. But, then again the apples. Once we looked into all the fine print from the other caterers, I'm sure we would have ended up with a larger bill in the end, if we didn't go AJoyWallace. The quote that we got from AJoyWallace was true to the very end; there were no last minute up-charges, or surprises. (Keep in mind that the number your parents have in their mind for a wedding budget does not apply anymore... inflation sucks! Shopping around for a caterer made us realize that quickly... our original budget concept was way off, especially for the food and service we expected.)

The food and service were outstanding! The waiters wore white gloves! Service was very quick, and quiet, and not obtrusive, and there was always someone there to fill your glass. We supplied our own liquor, and AJoyWallace provided bartenders. They packaged all the bottles up for us at the end of the night, and had them arranged in boxes, ready to be loaded into a car by the end of the night. They even cut, served, and boxed the cake (which my mom made).

Adelee: She was our coordinator at the wedding. She did an amazing job! She basically orchestrated the whole event; helped to move the night along from cocktail hour, to introductions, to speeches, to dancing. The whole evening would have fallen apart if it weren't for her. I can't praise her enough. She made my wedding happen, and made it happen beautifully!

My guests couldn't stop talking about the food and service. They still can't. I get compliments to this day (over a year later) of how wonderful my wedding was... and it's mostly due to AJoyWallace and Adelee.

If you can see past what seems like the highest quote, and want to work with a team who will make what you want happen, go with AJoyWallace. You will not be disappointed.

This vendor went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding day was successful. Their attention to detail was exquisite along with their level of professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top notch caterer and design team. Besides the food and service being superb, their design team did an incredible job with not only the flowers but the overall feel of the entire event.

It was a dream day and a dream wedding and much of it thanks to A Joy Wallace Catering and Design team.

Joy Wallace Catering made my wedding feel like a fairytale. They were professional, patient, efficient, reliable and worth every penny! I also recommend them to everyone and recommend you use one of their excellent wedding planners! Thanks our planner, I never had to worry about anything, I was relaxed and able to focus on the day. My wedding is always the one everyone remembers as the most fun and the best wedding food they had ever had... :-) which we all know... says a lot!

Incredible catering and fantastic service. The company is definitely on the more expensive side because they provide such high-quality work, but Sabdy and Cristine were very accommodating during our planning process in helping us keep our costs down. Also, I'm a huge foodie, and A Joy Wallace definitely delivered on providing spectacular hors d'oeuvres (my favorite part!), entrees and drinks. But one of my favorite parts about A Joy Wallace was their attentiveness the night of our wedding - wow! My husband and I got the royal treatment the whole night from the coordinators, bartenders and servers. It was amazing! Very thankful to A Joy Wallace for helping making our night undoubtedly memorable for us and our guests.

A Joy Wallace was the best decision we made for our Wedding day. I recommend them 100% for your Wedding day. The food was excellent, amazing service, professional and caring staff, we couldn't have ask for more. Tatiana was so patient with us, we changed our menu and other things so many times and she was always happy to help us getting things done the way we wanted them or better. The day of the wedding everything was beautiful and perfect, I don't know how we would have done without Tatiana and A Joy Wallace.

A Joy Wallace handled all the catering and event design for our daughter's wedding in Miami. They created a magical event our family and guests are still talking about. For the ceremony, they transformed a concrete patio into an enchanted garden complete with fresh plants, hanging candles etc. It was amazing. And the reception was magnificent. The floral arrangements were breathtaking. The entire staff was professiona, personable and worked with precision, but didn't get in the way; the table settings were elegant, the meal looked and tasted great. I especially appreciated that I didn't have to ever ask for a thing or tend to guests. They anticipated our needs and lived up to their name - it was truly joyful! They created a memorable event for our family.

Katia and Joy here pivotal in creating the perfect wedding reception at the Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables. The ample professional staff and delicious food were a crowd pleaser. The staff went to far as to help an elderly couple down the stairs!
I would recommend A Joy Wallace to any bride that has the freedom to choose her caterers.

Michael and I are so happy we selected A Joy Wallace Production for providing the catering (food, drinks and service) for our wedding. Katia Ponomavera, was by our side for three months beginning from the terrific Tasting at their facility to the actual event. She was able to swiftly make adjustments to the proposal to meet my requests. She made sure to explain all details and provide information to assist with the process. Most importantly all the hor d'oeurves, dinner, drinks and late night bites were DELICIOUS and the team was quick to provide service and accommodate gifts. We have received spectacular compliments from many of our guests. I feel that Katia and the Joy Wallace team truly assisted in making our wedding more than what we dreamed it would be.

I have to say that I am very surprised with Joy Wallace delivery of service. Everything looked so professional since the very beginning, but the day of the wedding they lacked tremendously. They didn't follow what we agreed on the contract. There was not enough food for my guest during cocktail hour.

The best wedding food

The food was absolutely amazing. However, the staff was absolutely not. They were impossible to get ahold of. There was suppose to be someone dedicated to the bride and groom and making sure they had food and drinks during the reception, which she only came up to me once. The owner was very abrasive to me during the tasting. If they had different management then they would be the best caterer in Florida.
