Look no further for your wedding photographer. Joy is professional, kind, and deeply talented in what she does. From our first conversation, Joy was so helpful and knowledgeable with beginning the wedding process. She was the first vendor we booked! Her communication is flawless, and in the stressful weeks leading up to the wedding, Joy's communication made a huge difference in helping with our day of timeline and fine tuning all the little details.
We had the most incredible engagement shoot -she listened to some of our ideas and then guided us into poses that turned into incredible photos. We didnt want the classic Chicago Skyline/Lake photoshoots, and she helped us find some awesome spots!! Who would have thought that underneath the Red Line would turn out to be some of our favorite photos?! We had a connection to have some shots near Wrigley, and they turned out so beautiful!!
We havent received our full wedding photos yet, but Joy was such a pivotal piece of our wedding day. Her sweetness and humor helped make our photoshoots seamless, fun, and so far our preview photos are stunning!! Everyone was raving about her.
Joy is truly the most incredible person and photographer. Do not second guess the decision to inquire and book her right now!! -

Joy you are a ray of sunshine. Your positive energy lights up a room. My now husband is camera shy and made us feel natural when taking pictures for our engagement session and our wedding day. Joy was so accommodating and absolutely went above and beyond our expectations and her role of being our photographer. She was so organized and fun, she not only takes the most incredible photos that truly bring so much joy, but she made sure if I needed anything, and I truly mean anything, she helped me. I am so happy I chose Joy to capture one of the most important days of our lives and I absolutely will be coming back for other photos in the future! -

I'm really happy with our decision to work with Joy as our wedding photographer. She is friendly and kind and was able to give the wedding party good direction without coming off as too controlling. She had photographed at our venue before, and it was super helpful that she knew all of the great shooting locations. She also snuck us outside towards the end of our dinner to take sunset photos and I'm so glad she did! They ended up being some of our favorites. The photos turned out really well! I would highly recommend Joy as your wedding photographer. You won't be disappointed! -

Joy came highly recommended to us from my best friend whose wedding she photographed a few years prior. I absolutely loved her engagement and wedding photos, so I already knew she was wonderful. Joy's only goal is to make your day as perfect and as special as possible, which shines through every step leading up to the wedding day. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and figure out what you're looking for. We just got back our photos and they are stunning! Romantic and beautiful and the perfect blend of candid and portrait shots. She somehow managed to capture what I would call every single special moment and reaction of the day. Joy was a dream to work with! From our first meeting to the big day, Joy put me at ease and handled everything so perfectly. She was extremely personable and organized throughout the entire planning process. Joy did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, and all of them turned out beautifully. We have received so many compliments about our wedding photos, and how perfectly they captured our wedding day; not only the memorable moments between my husband and I, but also of our friends and family enjoying the evening and dancing the night away. Even the smallest details were documented fabulously, our invitations, my dress, and our gorgeous venue. She made sure to get every single shot that we wanted, and so many that I didn't even imagine possible. Thanks to Joy we have so many beautiful photographs to look back on and remember our wedding day. -

We cannot say enough about how fun they were to work with, and how much we appreciate them braving the bitter cold to get the wonderful fall colors in our photos. Donna Sent on 03/28/2018We love Joy. She did an amazing job photographing our wedding and our engagement session. We weren't sure at first about going over budget for a photographer but it was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. Saying we are happy we picked Joy is an understatement because we are beyond pleased with her professionalism and photography skills! She pays attention to detail, gets to know you as a couple and by the wedding day it was like we were being photographed by a friend. Our wedding album is gorgeous. She captured every detail of our day perfectly. It tooks us months to narrow down the photos for our album because we loved them all so much. I am an honest person and can honestly say if you choose Joy for your photographer you will not be disappointed. She is worth every single penny!

User1020515 Sent on 11/19/2012Joy is an amazing photographer and I would enthusiastically recommend her to any of my friends planning a wedding! She herself is friendly, charming, courteous, and very professional and responsible. He photos are works of art - she knows exactly what she is doing and she has that sixth sense of when a "moment" is happening - there isn't a single part of my wedding that went undocumented, and we had a constantly-changing schedule and a packed list of activities.
Joy is also incredibly flexible! My husband and I had planned on a day-after photo shoot for our couples photos, but at the last minute, the timing didn't work out. Joy was very understanding and rescheduled with us for a time after our honeymoon when we could be more relaxed. She also threw in a free engagement shoot as part of our package, so that we would feel comfortable in front of the camera on our wedding day. When our album arrived, she reviewed it so thoroughly that she found a *tiny* mistake and demanded another, perfect copy from the printer so we would have a completely correct final product.
Joy also ran by the post office on her way out of town for vacation so that we would receive our album in time to share it with family members over Thanksgiving. In summary, every part of my experience with Joy was rewarding and pleasant, and you should absolutely book her to record your wedding memories!
