We hired Joseph to do our engagement and wedding photos and quickly determined that he is worth every penny!! He came highly recommended to us by both our wedding planner and friends. He is professional, friendly and incredibly creative with his photography. I tend to be very awkward and stiff in staged pictures but Joseph has a natural ability to put people at ease and take stunning pictures. My husband and I got to know him during the engagement photo session which helped us feel comfortable and confident about working with him on our wedding day.
On the day of our wedding, he was prompt and both he and his assistant were a pleasure to work with with! We did first look and wedding party pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we wanted the family pictures done as quickly as possible so that we could enjoy the wedding. He was very efficient and organized! As part of our package, he displayed photos that he had taken earlier that day (first look and wedding party pics) on a slide show for guests to see at the reception. They were stunning! I don't know how he managed to do it so quickly but all of our guests were so impressed with the pictures!
He has a natural gift for photography and is an artist when it comes to getting the perfect shot. Joseph was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were so lucky that we were even able to find him. With his presence, it did not just feel as if he was a photographer taking pictures, but a friend that was sharing the happiest moments of our lives. When we were looking through the pictures after the wedding, we could tell the hard work put into making our 4 day wedding seem as if it were a story, capturing expressions and moments that made our story even more enchanting. His amicable personality complemented by his professionalism made our entire family feel even more comfortable with him. These memories will be with us forever, and one of the greatest parts about is that Joseph West will be too :)Joseph was an absolute pleasure to work with. Joseph took our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. We couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. Our special day was everything we wanted it to be and more thanks to Joseph! We consider him an excellent photographer and friend now. Can't wait to find another excuse to do a photo shoot. You won't regret using him. He's simply amazing!:)

We finally got married and in asking all our married friends for advice on wedding planning the only complaint they had was the photographer. So are very first priority in planning our event was to find a reliable photographer. I went to a well known photographer I knew and asked who he would have do his wedding and Joseph was his answer.
From the start Joseph kept in contact with us not with just his responsibilities, but also in the other aspects of our wedding planning making sure everything was coming together. On the day of the event I didn’t need to go looking for him. He was already snapping shots along with his assistant. He fell right into the background of the event and managed to get the most memorable shots we could imagine without being in the way.
After our wedding Joseph sent teasers while on our honeymoon and a few after till the entire project was complete. Since this was our first experience with a professional photographer we were not aware of the cost that relates to something like this. After seeing the pictures we felt like he was worth every dollar paid!
We hope to use Joseph for future events in our life together. Thanks!

My husband loved our pictures. He does a great job with the artsy not traditional photograph stuff. Him & his assistant wer fabulous and sweet. Make sure to have a little idea of what you want - just general wedding advice for anyone so you get every picture you want and more.My husband loved our pictures. There are many things in planning a wedding that can be stressful and sometimes the services rendered do not live up their expectations. Choosing a photographer, to me, was the most important part of the planning process. After all, once the wedding is over, all you have are your photographs. Joseph West captured the moment just as i imagined. With his creativity, personality, and extraordinary way with the camera, he was able to portray our personalities and moments like no one else could. I would strongly recommend this photographer if you want to be blown away with the results. From the first day we interviewed Joe he got our vision. He has a keen eye for aesthetics, which we value, and he ran with our concept whole-heartedly! It was so nice to not have to worry that the details would be missed because every time I turned around, he or one of his excellent staff would be aiming and clicking away at everything from our decorative nuances to my cherished family and friends. I appreciated his attention to detail and devotion to our "theme." A++ for Joe West.From the first day we interviewed Joe he got our vision. I saw Josephs ad in Houston Wedding Magazine and was instantly in love. He is incredibly talented and once we met with him, we were sold! He is genuinely a kind person and easy to work with. Neither myself or my husband like to be the center of attention and taking photographs can sometimes be pretty awkward. Joseph always made us feel comfortable and at ease. For our wedding day we chose the package with unlimited shooting time and a second photographer. The second photographer Cameron, was just as great as Joseph! They both were extremely kind and made our wedding day such a breeze. They are both crazy talented and captured some amazing moments on our wedding day!!
Joseph was one of the biggest expenses in our entire wedding, but he was worth every penny.
