I recently had the great pleasure of working with Jose Rolon and his phenomenal team to plan and create what can can only be described as a dream wedding for my daughter. From the very first consultation to the wedding day, every aspect of their service was nothing short of spectacular. From the outset, I set the bar high for what I envisioned for my daughter's special day, and boy, did Jose and his team deliver on all levels. Jose was incredibly easy to work with; his kindness, professionalism, approachability, and warmth were just a few of his outstanding characteristics, making every interaction an absolute delight! No matter the question or concern, they were always available, ready to offer support, solutions and guidance every step of the way. José Rolón Events are AMAZING. We hired José and Natasha for our September '23 wedding at the Foundry and found their help to be invaluable. They were with us every step of the way, from vendor selection and negotiation, helping us crystallize what our design vision was, to making sure our priorities were addressed. They worked with both of our parents seamlessly. The wedding was better than we could have ever imagined because of all of their help. They helped us put together an amazing team of vendors who supported us at every stage of the planning process. They made the process FUN! Above and beyond

After all my conversations with potential planners I kept going back to my fiancé and saying, “I just feel like they didn’t even care to get to know US. It just felt so business like”. Cue…. JOSE!!!! The second I sat down with him his first comment was, “tell me about you and your fiancé”. After a few minutes of talking I knew right away he genuinely cared about getting to know us. I mean, he mentioned that one of his favorite moments from our wedding day was getting the opportunity to sit down and chat with my fiancé before the day started. Also, Jose came all the way to my hotel to pop in and see how I was doing the Friday night before my wedding. It is so obvious Jose is someone who truly cares about his couples.

I hired Jose as a “partial planner” because I already had all my vendors. Then, COVID happened. My wedding was supposed to be October 2020 with 250 guests at an indoor venue. That changed quickly. Although Jose technically (and contractually) didn’t need to step in at the time of my wedding cancelation, he did without any hesitation. He helped me find a new venue and the other contractors necessary. Thank goodness because otherwise, I am not sure I would have had a wedding let alone the incredible one that I did. Hiring Jose was the BEST decision I made in my planning process.

We had a crazy amount more COVID bumps along the road, BUT my point is that when you hit a crisis during your wedding planning process (and, sorry but, you will) I can promise you Jose will be there to clean up the mess. THATS what you need in a planner. The commitment Jose and his assistant Natasha both displayed to make sure our wedding day was nothing but perfect (while following CDC guidelines) was so honorable and not like any other wedding planning team you’ll ever meet.

Also, Jose handles tough groups amazingly. Does your family get overwhelmed and very involved? Jose can handle it. Does your bridal party get drunk before bridal party pictures? Jose can handle it. Does one of your vendors decide they don’t think they can get COVID tested in time before the wedding? Jose can handle it. Does your fiancé email a blank document of his vows to the venue to be printed? Jose can handle it.

Let’s chat about his assistant Natasha. Above and beyond is an understatement. At any hour of the day (or night to be totally honest) Natasha answered all my calls and addressed all my concerns. There is NOTHING this girl won’t do. I mean every time I sent a text to both Jose and Natasha her response was always, “ok no problem” or “I’m on it!”. There was even a time we chatted about bubbles upon exiting the ceremony and Natasha’s response (I kid you not) was, “I’ll gladly blow the bubbles if you need me to.” I mean there is nothing this lady won’t do.

I keep telling my friends and family that I truly thought because of COVID I was going to look back at my wedding and (though of course it would have always been the best day of my life) think, yep COVID screwed my wedding over. However SOMEHOW Jose and Natasha managed to make my wedding a day/night that I wouldn’t have wanted done any differently. How they managed to follow all CDC guidelines and still make me feel this way is beyond me.

Stress Free COVID Bride

Working with José Rolón events was by far the best decision we made when starting the wedding planning process. José and Lesley were compassionate and understanding and best of all, you walked away from every conversation feeling heard. Our wedding turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined and it’s because this team took the time to really listen and fully understand our priorities as a couple. The vendor team that José compiled was, quite simply, the best - and by taking the time to vet each vendor before recommending them he ensures you always work with the best. José and Lesley were in constant communication and the end result was stunning. Never once did I question José’s loyalty to his clients or his passion for this business. Planning a wedding is stressful - planning a wedding during a pandemic is an outright nightmare but we never once felt that burden with José and Lesley onboard. We have loved working with them and recommend this team to anyone who wants a stress free and fun (yes fun even in a pandemic) experience.

Wonderful person and company!

I follow Jose on Instagram and contacted him for help with vendor suggestions for my son's wedding weekend at the 1 Brooklyn Bridge Hotel. I live in SC and COVID has made it impossible for the family to attend the wedding. We wanted to have something special delivered to their hotel to celebrate with them. Jose was amazing! He suggested James Weir Florist and Waterfront Wines then even offered to deliver the wines to the hotel! And all of this wonderful, caring service via text messages over Instagram. I can only imagine in person he is perfection! Thank you, Jose!!!

Thank god for Jose !!!!

We could not be happier with our experience with Jose Rolon Events. We did the full planning package and are SO glad we did. Even if we hadn't been moving across the country 3 months before our wedding, I can't imagine how we could have put all of these pieces together without Jose.

From our first meeting with Jose, we were so comforted to know that not only was he talented, he was a genuinely good person that we enjoyed spending time with. There was always a sense of pride in what he did. It wasn't just a job for him, he took it personally. The way he was able to mix his taste/suggestions with ours, without ever being overbearing or aloof, was always impressive. We'd give him an idea and he'd run with it, and vice versa. We ended up having the absolute perfect mix of vendors.

The day of the wedding was perfect. Lesley was so helpful and just really made us feel taken care of. Watching Jose be the maestro was a thing of beauty. He was able to conduct this whole crew of people without ever seeming stressed out or worried. We drew so much comfort from his calm and cool attitude.

We'd be hard pressed to imagine the whole process going any better and had the best night of our lives. Truly! Anyone considering working with them -- look no further, they're the real deal!

Jose and his team quite literally changed our lives! We hired him for full planning of our wedding back in June of 2018. Not only was he incredibly organized and professional, he also had such a calm and reassuring personality. As the inevitable stress of the wedding came up, Jose was a steady and calming force throughout it all.
The day of was magical and went off without any problems, large in part to Jose's expert organization and planning.

If we were to do anything different, we would've hired him sooner!

Working with Jose was the best decision we ever made. My husband was nervous about the idea of working with a wedding planner but after our first meeting with Jose my fiance looked at me and said "I love him!" And from then on it was just the most incredible relationship. Jose is calm, collected, has incredible taste and always knows how to help, in every situation. He helped manage the incredibly overwhelming wedding industry - for every vendor we had to choose he gave us three options to choose from and I always knew that we could trust his suggestions. He helped us navigate our budget and helped make decisions when they seemed to be coming from all angles. But more than his wedding planning abilities - which are unparalleled - his demeanor is what makes him truly an amazing person to get to know and work with. He is just the type of person you want by your side every step of the way. He is warm, calming, even-keeled and loving. He is incredible with all types of personalities - from siblings to mothers to mother-in-laws. He is loved in the industry for good reason. He is just the BEST. We cannot recommend him more highly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about José Rolón and his amazing team! As the MOB living in Philadelphia while planning a NYC wedding, a full service planner was a must. My daughter and son-in-law had limited time and entrusted me with many of the details. José was great about working directly with me but keeping the bride and groom in the loop and involved. He is ALWAYS calm! He and his team are incredibly detail oriented and gave us fabulous recommendations for all vendors we used — caterer, florist, photographer, videographer, etc. José was particularly helpful in securing a block of hotel rooms for our out of town guests. I mistakenly thought at least that would be easy.

The best part of working with José, though, is José! He is kind, funny and a joy to be with. We didn’t just get a wedding planner, we got a wonderful new friend.

We are so happy that we decided to book Jose and his fantastic team for partial planning for our wedding on July 8th 2017 today The Foundry. Once the coordination of renting everything with many different vendors set in and became overwhelming, we knew we needed help from someone who knew the venue best, and I couldn't think of someone that fits the bill better than Jose. He was more than an event planner, giving us advice, suggestions and answering any questions we had leading up to the big day. Not to mention he is a really cool guy that we all enjoyed getting to know and hanging out with. We received so many compliments from our family and bridal party on how smoothly everything ran thanks to Jose! Not to mention, I wasn't feeling well the night of the wedding which was upsetting to begin with, and Jose was right there with me with seltzer water and Tums making me feel better the whole time! And somehow still making sure everything went smoothly. He has everything in his magic "kit" including a Tide pen which did come in handy too :) All in all, thanks to Jose and his lovely team we were able to truly enjoy our wedding worry free. There aren't any words I can write to express how happy we are to have met Jose and have him as part of our special day. Jose and his assistant Annie were the perfect planners from start to end. They were completely on top of everything and listened to all our needs/wants to make sure we had the perfect day. They also had great ideas and added little personal touches we never could have thought of ourselves. They have relationships with the best vendors and put together a real dream team for the day of. Jose has an awesome personality and a very calming demeanor which was much appreciated during such a stressful time. Not only did we have the perfect wedding, but we gained a lifelong friend as well. On the eve of our one year anniversary I feel it apropos to share with you all, our truly unforgettable experience.

As a couple who could self-identify as “high maintenance” throughout the entirety of the wedding planning process, believe me when I tell you that José Rolón was as integral a part to the resounding success of the event, as any ring or vow could be. José played the role of orchestrator, friend, and confidant from the first moment that we all sat to speak about the overall vision for the wedding, through the day of the affair itself, and still now holds a truly special place in the very fabric of our relationship.

It would belie the truth to attempt to extol José’s numerous virtues into a small box of written words. What you will quickly come to realize however, is that José is far more than just the guy who ensures the cake shows up on time, or that you don’t trip over yourself during your first dance. He is a man who genuinely cares for his couples, which is exemplified in each and every interaction you will have with him. A man who is passionate about bringing your dreams, however farfetched they might seem, from a thought in your head to a tangible reality. A man who fully understands the gravity and importance of every aspect of the day, and would move heaven and earth to ensure all the stars align for you.

Over the course of the wedding planning process, you will be presented with an infinite amount of decisions, both large and small in scope. Some will shape the ultimate direction the big day will take, and some you will wonder why you ever wasted a second with in the first place. There is without reservation no better person to help you navigate all of that, and everything in between than José.

We did full planning with Jose for our wedding at The Foundry on June 25th, 2016. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jose and Team from beginning to end. The Foundry is an amazing venue, but requires a lot of work and imagination since it is an open event space. Jose helped us turn our vision into reality and guided us along the process the entire time. He has great relationships with all the top vendors which made all the decisions we had to make so much easier. He is extremely well organized and made sure we were on time and on budget as worked through the process. On the day of, Jose kicked it into another gear -- everyone from bridesmaids to family members loved him and he made sure we were completely at ease, well fed and stress free on our big day. We were able to barely think about the logistics of a big event and just enjoy the moment. We can't recommend him enough - unbelievable planner and the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process was picking Jose Rolon Events!!

As an out of town mother of the bride, I chose Jose Rolon for our month-of planner. My daughter and I were so happy we chose Jose! Jose is extremely organized, reachable, pleasant, and the consummate problem solver. Besides being involved in every detail (if needed!), Jose is intuitive about what the couple wants overall, having gotten to know the bride and groom. There is much more to being an event planner than just organizing and planning. For the day to be enjoyable, and express the "vibe" of the couple, there must be a momentum to pulling all of the details together in a cohesive way. My daughter and son in law's wedding flowed beautifully, and our guests told us afterwards how "elegant and fun" it was - not an easy balance to achieve, which could not have been accomplished without Jose's expertise. Jose is a joy to work with - our entire family loved him, and felt extremely comfortable asking any questions, etc. My only regret is that in retrospect, and having gotten to know Jose, we should have engaged his services from the start (not only for month of), so that we could have had more time with him! He is an integral part of our wedding memories and made it a great day!

To say that we wouldn't have had such an amazing wedding without José is an understatement. The truth is, we probably wouldn't have had a wedding at all if it weren't for José and his incredible team.

José helped plan my brother's wedding so when I got engaged, hiring José was a no-brainer. Neither my husband nor I had any idea what we wanted for our wedding. Thankfully, José held our hands through the entire process. He understood that we didn't want too many options so he narrowed down the vendors for us. He gave us just enough choices to have a variety but not enough to overwhelm us. Our venue was a blank canvas so we had to bring everything in, which meant not only picking the vendors, the menu and the floral arrangements, but also the table linens, serving trays, utensils, etc. The result was a group of vendors that had a better sense of our tastes than we had ourselves and a wedding that suited us perfectly.

When we went to pick up my husband's suit two days before our wedding and the tailor had made the shirt out of the completely wrong material, José stepped in. I woke up the next morning with a text from José with a picture of potential fabric alternatives and by that afternoon, a courier was delivering a new shirt (made out of the correct material) to our apartment. People remarked how calm we were on our wedding day. The reason for that was José. We knew that we didn't have to worry about a thing because José and his team had it covered.

José became a member of our family and while we don't necessarily miss the wedding planning process, we do miss seeing José on a regular basis.

If you want a low-key, cool, professional wedding planner/coordinator, Jose is your guy! I'm pretty Type A and wanted to handle a lot of details myself. He knew when to push and when to be hands off. On the day of the wedding, he was such a calming influence on me an my entire family. everything went off without a hitch thanks to Jose and team. And the inevitable things that went wrong, I never knew about and he just handled impeccably! He is the best and we would highly recommend him to any couple getting married in NY! No nonsense, no huge entourage, just hard work, a great eye and a great personality...exactly what you need on a such a stressful day.

We did full planning with Jose Rolon for our wedding. Working with Jose was a wonderful experience. First and foremost, he is a very nice person who is fun to be around. He has a family and we loved getting to know him. We came to him with a vision of a slightly unconventional wedding that was still refined and heartfelt. He suggested vendors he knew and trusted, all of which were of exceptional quality and helped shape our vision closer and closer to a reality. His team kept us organized, on task, and on budget, all of which are extremely difficult to do when planning a wedding. On the day of our wedding, Jose was more than thorough, professional and everything went off perfectly. He was on top of everything, made sure all of the family members and guests were taken care of and that we (Ryan and I) had everything we needed! He was the best decision we made after picking our date! I am so glad we used him and only hope to have another event in the future, that we could have an excuse to hire him for!

José Rolon and his team made every moment of our wedding the perfect experience for us and our guests. Leading up to the wedding, José was as helpful as can be, with the best advice, constant availability and responsiveness, and such a great energy to be around that planning felt way more like a joy than a burden. I loved receiving José's emails leading up to the big day--he anticipated every moment and need and choreographed all of our ideas into the perfect timeline and setup.
Our wedding party loved working with José at the rehearsal, which set the tone for all of the fun that was to come. On the day of the wedding, José and his team were simply perfect and so lovely to be around. I will always remember spending the day with my bridesmaids and José, who always was ready with champagne, snacks, jokes, wardrobe help and whatever else we could need--my friends loved having him around and people kept telling me that I was the most relaxed bride ever--that's all thanks to José!
Throughout the wedding, my husband and I were able to have the time of our lives, and truly enjoy the wedding with our guests, because José left nothing to worry or even think about. He got along wonderfully with all of our vendors as well as our families and friends, all of which made for the most awesome wedding-energy imaginable.
José Rolon is the best wedding planner you could ever ask for, but, more than that, he is also a wonderful person, which I think is what really brought our wedding to the next level from great event to great experience. Thank you so much, José!!!

Jose was absolutely amazing. We hired him as a month-of planner, and honestly I do not know what I would have done without him. He went so above and beyond what we hired him for - sending me vendor recommendations and giving me advice months before he was even scheduled to fully take over.

When the month of the wedding finally came around, Jose seamlessly took control of all of my vendor contacts and I did not have to even think. He made an easy to follow timeline for me and my bridal party and coordinated everything for the whole day. On the day of our wedding I did not have to worry about a single thing, and the few requests I had on the day of were taken care of immediately. I could not have asked for better!

Most importantly, it was so great to work with such a kind, passionate, funny person who made me feel like our event was incredibly special and important to him. I felt completely calm and stress-free the entire weekend, and that's only because I knew that Jose was handling any issue that came about. In fact, there was a crisis involving our band being too loud and the owner of our venue threatening to shut down the entire wedding. But Jose took care of it without mentioning a word (and I didn't even find out about it until WAY after the weekend was over). In addition to being professional, he is one of the warmest people I have ever met. He is fun and just a complete joy to be around. His assistant, Angela, is also wonderful and was amazing to work with as well. I really am so thankful to them and would recommend to every bride out there to hire Jose Rolon!! We decided to use a wedding coordinator because of the stress it would take off. On our wedding day, we opted to use the services of Jose Rolon Events. This decision proved to be one of the best we made as far as any vendor we used for our big day! Upon meeting Jose in the late spring of 2014, our gut instantly said he was the right person for the job. His calm demeanor, organization and positivity made us sure we would be in good hands on the best, but also most stressful day of our lives. Leading up to our wedding day, Jose assisted us with constructing a perfect timeline that exceeded our expectations, and allowed for time together as a couple, and also time to spend with all of our wedding guests (270 to be exact!). Even when the threat of rain was upon us, Jose quickly came up with a successful alternative of Grand Central Station for photos instead of the wet grass of Central Park. When my husband's blazer lost a button, Jose and his assistant Angela were on the task immediately ameliorating the issue. Angela also sewed my bridesmaid's misfitted dress just hours before walking down the aisle. In a word, the services of Jose Rolon Events were "perfection," and allowed us to feel completely secure and able to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. From 7am until the last guest left the party, Jose was by our side and he and his assistant delivered our cards and gifts right to our apartment door and wedding suite.
I would recommend Jose Rolon to any friend or family member in the future enthusiastically, and without reservation.

José and his staff and recommendations really made our wedding happen. From the big picture organization to the small details fixing my wife's dress, he was excellent. He made sure that we knew where to be just a few minutes before every major part of the event. He did a great job coordinating with all of the other vendors, so that everyone knew the schedule. We even forgot to bring home the left over wedding cake and a few things from the venue, and graciously, he retrieved them for us a few days later. I can't thank him enough for making our wedding work!

We feel very lucky to have found jose, who was with us every step of the way to ensure that our wedding went smooth. This was no easy task since our venue was an hour an half outside of the city and we had guests from japan. True to form though, Jose delivered an amazing event.

We will forever be grateful for our wedding that jose helped us plan, execute and enjoy.

Put simply, Jose was the best. We didn't think we needed a wedding planner, but I don't know what we would have done without him. He made the planning process simple and an absolute breeze. Plus, he was super responsive and reliable. Finally (and most importantly), he's so kind and fun, and he's someone who is impossible not to genuinely like and care about. So glad he was able to be a part of our wedding, and I'd recommend Jose Rolon events for ANY large event!!

Jose and Angela were a great team to work with! They were responsive, thoughtful, reliable made the day of just perfect. Even with a lot of moving parts they were calm and collected. Their execution was great and looking back I don't know how people have weddings without them!

Too bad the rating only goes to 5, would love to give him a 10 for each category! Jose is a LIFE SAVER. Words cannot express the amount of stress he single handedly took off of my shoulders. I didn't worry about one thing on my wedding day, he (and Angela) had it all taken care of. He dealt with all our vendors and worked seamlessly with them. He even communicated directly with my mom to take all her questions away from me! He answered all of my emails promptly and gave me many helpful tips. He knew the venue inside and out and seemed to know (and love) all of our vendors. He hooked us up with his choreographer, Ranardo, who choreographed our entire first dance. Jose is an amazing guy with great attention to detail. He checked in on me while I was at my hair appointment and set the mood at the hotel where all the gals were getting ready. He was able to make us feel extra special on our wedding day and we really appreciated all the work he put towards making our day perfect.

I absolutely cannot recommend José enough. We signed up for José’s Full Planning package and it was the best money we spent for the entire event. José’s expertise and relaxed attitude make him the ideal person to have at your side as you plan what has the potential to be a very stressful event. José is responsive, knowledgable, flexible, thoughtful, generous, patient and loving. I guarantee you will not regret the day you book José as your planner.

I’ll give one example that I think says it all. Five months before our wedding, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Two months before our wedding, it became clear that unless we moved the whole event, my dad would not be able to attend (let alone enjoy the party) because of the timing of his radiation treatments.

After an emotional night dealing with this realization, my first call in the morning was to José. Literally within hours, José had dropped everything and rescheduled the entire event to the day 2 months later when my dad would be feeling well enough to attend. When I say he rescheduled the whole event, I mean, the whole event. The venue, the caterer, the photographer, the band, the florist, the photo booth, our hotel room. Everything. We did not loose a single vendor and they all waived the change fee (we had the most wonderful vendors, they were all incredibly kind and understanding - not a coincidence, they were all José’s recommendations). That was the moment I realized that José was a superhero.

I guess I’m biased but I’m pretty sure our wedding was the best wedding ever. José made the whole thing run like clock work. I didn’t think about a single detail on the day of, knowing José had it all under control. And best of all, my dad and I were able to have our father daughter dance.

José is a miracle worker. I’m looking forward to the day he releases a package for full service life planning, not just wedding planning. I’ll be the first to sign up.

My mom and I originally thought we didn't need a wedding planner. As the months went by, and we were getting closer, there were just so many details that we weren't sure how to handle. We decided to hire Jose for the month before the wedding, and it was the best decision we made in the whole process.

Jose and his team provided the support and structure we needed before and during our wedding. There are always hiccups during this process, and Jose saw that they ran smoothly, straightened things out when they didn't, and always made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We had some problems with our vendor not responding to our questions, and not making changes we requested, and Jose got right on it. He made sure everything was how we wanted it. He told us later that he handled a ton of behind the scenes drama that we didn't even know about. We were so happy he handled it without letting us know, because it left us feeling very stress free.

Our day was so magical, and I knew I didn't have to worry about anything, since Jose was by my side! I have NEVER been as calm and collected as I was on my wedding day, and I attribute it all to Jose. He just has this natural calming effect to him, that spreads to you and your bridal party. HIRE JOSE, it's the BEST decision you will make for your wedding!

Stop! Do yourself the biggest favor and hire Jose. He's amazing -- he's so warm, friendly, and so much fun, not to mention a fantastic planner.

We signed on with Jose for day-of help and that is just silly. He goes WAY above and beyond that. Jose was in contact with us from the moment we met, months before our wedding. Whenever I needed advice about a vendor or an idea for a rehearsal dinner location Jose was there to help. He was there for our walkthrough, a mini tablecloth "crisis" at the rental company 2 weeks before, and more. He kept us organized and sane and made it so much fun along the way.

And the day of?! Jose was the best wedding gift we received. He will have you more organized than you thought you would ever be on your wedding day. He is so mellow and calmly tackles any little glitches that you won't believe how relaxed and calm you'll be. He lets you enjoy your own wedding! We didn't have to lift a finger -- the second we couldn't find something he found it. The second we started to get a little warm, the A/C was adjusted. The second our photographers left, Jose was on the dance floor taking Polaroid after Polaroid to make sure we could enjoy ourselves and have amazing photos to take home with us. And after all of that, Jose has gone above and beyond to help us to hunt down lost items left in a random car service -- for days!

We got so many compliments about our wedding, but also about Jose! Everyone working with him loves him and he treats everyone with so much kindness and respect. He's so fantastic and you will love him!

My husband and I wed in late August of 2013 and used José as a month-of coordinator (though what we got from him was much more than an month and much more than a coordinator). We both agree that bringing José on was the best wedding decision we made outside of getting married to each other.

José was professional, organized, calm and clearly in love with what he does. He checked in with me consistently, kept every vendor clear on details and expectations and never let me sweat the small stuff. The devil is in the details and José has a magical way of not only dealing with them but also keeping them in perspective.

On the big day, José was with me the entire time, keeping the day fun and light but also on schedule. He was texting with my groom the whole morning, keeping his nerves in check and his spirits high. I was not a terribly nervous bride but moments before I walked down the aisle I felt overwhelmed - as if I'd forgotten all my lines- despite not having lines. I looked at José and said 'you have to tell me what I need to do to because I can't remember anything.' He smiled at me and said 'you've got this- you look amazing and I'm right here' and proceeded to remind me how to put one foot in front of the other and walk towards the love of my life. Once the ceremony was over José set aside food, bubbly and privacy for my new husband and I to have a little time together and then we went and joined the party- and what a party it was. It is because of José that I was able to be a guest at my own wedding and enjoy everything from the food and the photo-booth to the dance floor.

I can't recommend using José enough- he truly took all the worry out of wedding planning and allowed both me and my (now) husband to put our energy towards our family, each other and making memories that last a lifetime. José is not just understanding, responsive and kind, he is also one heck of a dancer and a hopeless romantic- how can you ask for anything more?

Jose Rolon was our savior, wrapped up in an extremely organized package, sporting a handsome vest! From our first meeting to the end of the wedding night, Jose was professional, funny, lovable, and on top of that, the best coordinator I've ever dealt with!

The morning of the wedding Jose and his lovely assistant arrived to our hotel to find 150 Dough doughnuts littering the entirety of the room. He immediately started stuffing them into our give-away bags, allowing me to sit back, sip my coffee and get ready for the biggest day of my life. He made the entire process seem seamless, even cleaning the back of my dress before I walked down the aisle, because it had gotten dirty getting to the venue. He thought of everything and made the night magical.

The "icing on the wedding cake" if you will, was when he accompanied my sister at 2AM in the morning after the wedding to my apartment in Bushwick, carried 2 HUGE suitcases full of our wedding stuff, my HUGE dress, and all the left over booze up 4 FLIGHTS of stairs, needless to say Jose was the 2nd most important man at my wedding (besides my handsome groom!) I would recommend Jose to ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!! We love you Jose!!

Our wedding was perfect in every sense of the word, thanks to Jose Rolon Events. Until working with Jose, I never realized just how important having a Day-Of Coordinator was. Quite frankly, we couldn't afford to not have Jose. He delivered us a seamless wedding and peace of mind, all with a smile, and the utmost professionalism. The title of "Day-Of Coordinator" is an absolute understatement when it comes to Jose- he is extraordinary, going above and beyond in every way. He was just so approachable, responsive, and eager to help in every way. So many details of our wedding came about thanks to Jose's guidance, and yet, our wedding never felt like a cookie cutter production- it wholly and uniquely reflected us as a couple. If you're looking for an Event Planner, Month-Of or Day-Of, there is absolutely no question that Jose Rolon Events is the way to go. I actually didn't officially use Jose as my wedding planner, but he was my venue contact back when he worked at the Foundry, and I loved him so much I just had to put in a good word!

Everytime I called Jose with a question, he would listen to me with endless patience and offer up so much advice - from the planning approach to vendor recommendations that were a good fit for my wedding style and personality. He went beyond the call of duty and gave me tons of ideas and gave me much peace of mind. After he started his own gig and was no longer my contact at the venue, I was devastated! Honestly, he was my favorite person to work with and I was so sad just thinking about him not being a part of my wedding day. But having said that, I'm ecstatic to see Jose Rolon Events take off and will recommend him without any reservations to any bride looking for a smart, savvy, and personable wedding planner who will put you at ease and make this process fun for you!

We can’t begin to describe how amazing Jose is, and how invaluable he was in making our wedding as wonderful as it was. The consummate professional, Jose went above and beyond the call of duty, time and again; problem solving for endless situations we hadn’t anticipated, mediating disagreements arising between various vendors, organizing the many moving pieces well in advance of the wedding itself, and causing the day of the wedding to be executed flawlessly. When we hired and started working with Jose, all that stress melted away. We had the ability to begin focusing on simply enjoying the planning and reveling in the events leading up to the wedding because we knew we had such a dedicated, trustworthy, communicative, and detail-oriented person helping us through it all. Once Jose was on the job, anything that came up turned into, "Hey, let's ask Jose, and he'll help us," and then with a quick email or phone call all problems were solved. But the best part is that the problems were solved and the wedding day was planned in a calm and lovely way. Jose is so sweet, and goes about his life and work with a sense of humor and an open heart, and this comes through in how he interacts with us brides and grooms. He seems to genuinely enjoy helping make your big day perfect, approaching wedding planning with an appreciation of romance and what the day means to a couple. To give you a sense of how delightful Jose is to be around and have be a part of your wedding, not only did he make my worries disappear on my wedding day, but our bridal party (particularly our parents!) adored him and still ask how he's doing!

A quick anecdote. A few days before the wedding my hair stylist cancelled. In any other situation, I probably would have freaked out. But instead, I emailed Jose. Within a half an hour, I had another hair stylist. And upon googling her, I thought, "Wait, why didn't I go with this place originally?" He not only managed to squeeze me into a high-end parlor's busy schedule, but the place he found was very "me" – he knew my style and what I wanted, and he made it happen. This is quintessential Jose.

Besides the man I married, Jose was the best decision I had made at my wedding!

We are so grateful to Jose for helping us pull off our dream wedding, despite Hurricane Irene's best efforts! From our first meeting, we could tell Jose was genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple, and his warm and easy-going personality made it easy for us to share our vision for our wedding. Whether he was recommending excellent vendors or helping us visualize how to stage the venue, Jose was always available to answer our questions (usually within a few hours!) and his attention to detail really showed in his thoughtful responses that reflected our tastes. When we found out the day before our wedding that Hurricane Irene would change our plans from an outdoor tented event to an indoor one, Jose was there to help ensure that the last-minute changes allowed us to have everything on our wishlist without having to compromise our vision. You were a dream to work with throughout. Much more than what we expected from a "day-of" coordinator. I'll never forget our trip to Pearl River Mart. Whether or not we got everything on the checklist, the chat afterwards really eased my nerves. It was just what I needed and it was so nice to talk with you on that day.

All along, Jose, you assured us things would go smoothly, and the care you took to ensure this was invaluable to us. On the wedding day, you were amazing! When my veil was M.I.A., you ran to Lovely and got me a replacement. When my dress strap broke, you produced a sewing kit out of nowhere! You did a great job of making sure we had drinks at all times, and I can't thank you enough for alerting me that there was only an hour of dancing left and that I had better drop that dangerously loaded plate of desserts and get my butt out there and shake it!

I have the pleasure of knowing Jose since my freshman year in college. We've kept in touch throughout the years, and following each other's exciting career progress in NYC. So when I found out I needed a venue for my wedding in a less than 2 months, Jose was the first person I called. Knowing that he worked at one of New York's premiere event spaces was an absolute coup. I knew from the beginning that I was in good hands, and throughout the short, whirlwind of wedding planning, Jose made sure that he was available to answer any question I had, no matter how big or small the inquiry. When it came time for the big day, when little issues arose (as they inevitably do) and people brought them to my attention, Jose was keen on running interference and assuring me that he would take of it. I'm not sure how he did it, but he was always at the right place at the right time! As a result, we had a phenomenal experience with virtually no stress on my part!

I know I was fortunate to personally know Jose before our wedding, but I also know that most people who meet Jose feel like they've known him for years. I'm honored to recommend him as an event planner, and would trust him with any other major event I'd throw that needs to be fabulous and refined

My wedding went off without a hitch and that was due mainly to the knowledge and experience of Jose Rolon. Everything was taken care of with seamless precision and when something unexpected came up, Jose took care of it with smooth professionalism that it never escalated to a big issue. I could not have been happier with my wedding and I would highly recommend him.
