We worked with Jim and Megan for our wedding day and they did a phenomenal job. Megan shot our engagement pictures and she was so nice and helpful with poses. Jim did an amazing job wedding day with positioning everyone, making sure we ran on time, and getting chatty family members to smile for the photo. Megan once again posed us all perfectly for the "action" shots. We highly recommend them, they were great and our pictures turned out beautiful! -

We worked with Jim Kennedy Photographers for both photo and video services. They have done a lot of weddings at our Venue, Talega, so we were confident they would knock it out of the park. And they did!
I cannot recommend them more! Cheryl was our lead photographer and we did an engagement session with her a month before to get comfortable. She was great at directing us for our first ever couple's shoot and was extremely responsive. On the wedding day, Cheryl and Ali were so flexible and easy to work with. We're obsessed with the photos and love they mix of classic, candid, and editorial!
Noel & EJ were the videographers and I highly recommend getting both services from Jim Kennedy since the collaboration with the photographers was on point! They made us feel comfortable and got some fabulous shots. We got the teaser & highlight videos and they did a great job capturing the essence of the day.

I can't recommend him and his team enough for all the hard work and amazing results that came for my wife and I's wedding day. Ahhh I'm OBSESSEDDD with how our wedding photos turned out!! Our photographer, Cheryl, did the most incredibleeee job with our photos! Even with the lighting issues we had (our ceremony occurred at a bright time and the reception venue was having issues with a bright building security light they couldn't turn off) and she and her team still found a way to make our photos stunning!! Not only was she and her team extremely good at their jobs and quick (and they delivered sneak peaks photos back within just 1 week!!), but they were sooo wonderful to work with. I was stressed before she arrived while we were getting ready since we were running behind, but Cheryl had such a calming, positive, yet go-getter energy that made me feel like everything was going to be okay and that we would get all of the shots we wanted - and she did!! She was so flippin' organized. She and her team were so kind and were definitely a presence I was happy to have near us on our wedding day. And I have no doubts that our video and photo album are also going to turn out just as incredible. Props to Jim as well for being so wonderful, transparent, thoughtful, and helpful throughout this whole process. I highly recommend this company! -

The BEST photo/video team
Jim & his team were a dream team. Jim was responsive through the planning process, flexible with the package details we wanted and completely understood our vision from the first conversation. The day of they were prompt, so friendly, and non invasive. We were nervous to be photographed all day but it truly felt like we just had some friends hanging out with us. Jim was the ultimate hype man as he took photos! He made me feel so confident and would tell me what’s working, what to change, how to pose. Our photos turned out better than we ever dreamed. He captured our candid moments beautifully and best of all- they were QUICK. We didn’t feel like we were missing any important parts of the day because they got the shots efficiently. His entire team was incredible. The beach photos he got for us at golden hour are something out of a magazine. Not even a week later we already had some sneak peaks (tons!) and less than a month after the wedding we have all of our final photos and album designed.
There are not enough words to express how grateful we are to have chosen this team! We wish we had another event coming up just to be captured by him again. Thank you Jim & the entire team for such an effortless day that led to beautiful memories captured. -

Jim and his team were extremely knowledgable, communicative, and professional throughout our entire wedding experience. He made sure that he met with us prior to booking and our wedding day in order to ensure that it would be a good fit. Jim has frequented our wedding venue, and was able to suggest places and times for photos, including all members of our wedding party and making sure to capture shots of our very large family. He even shared a preview album in the same week as the wedding occurred, with timely turnaround of all other photos. His work is phenomenal, and the shots that he captured were creative and perfect in helping us remember our special day. Friendly and Talented Team!
Jim and his team were laid back, creative, and what was so important to us was during such a personal experience they were kind and easy going! They didn't forget any details and we felt so comfortable being with them on our special day. We got a beautiful sneak peak the morning after our wedding, and tons more just a couple days later! We were so happy with the package we got as we got digitals of all of our photos. What I loved the most was our photos were a mixture of portraits/more artistic, while getting plenty of candids and real moments. We would choose Jim all over again and love to look through and relive our day through the photos! Can't wait to see our video, no doubt in our minds it will be amazing! -

If you are reading these reviews, believe me when I say LOOK NO FURTHER and book Jim Kennedy Photographers for your wedding!! Jim shot our engagement shoot and September 2022 wedding and we are so incredibly happy with how the photos came out. My husband and I had never taken professional photos before and were nervous going into our engagement shoot - I was praying for just one good photo! Jim made us feel SO comfortable and we had a blast running around the beach snapping shots. I ended up with so many that I love I had to made a whole album out of them! After such a good experience with engagement photos, we were excited to take pictures again on our wedding day. Jim & team are professional, give great instruction, and they are fast! They know what they are doing and my husband and I were able to get our family/wedding party photos done quickly and have some precious time together before the ceremony. I cannot recommend Jim enough - I will hire him again any time I need photography in the future! -

Amazing Photographer - Megan
Megan is amazing! I would highly recommend booking her services for your special day. From the first phone call we had, she understood what type of shots I was looking for on our wedding day and she asked questions I did not even think of and walked through our whole day. She provides a timeline for the day of and important photos that you do not want her to miss. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable taking photos and so easy. We never felt rushed taking all the photos and she made it so much fun! She even sent "Sneak Peeks" the morning after, which was so sweet! The gallery was amazing and we got our photos on the time in the range she promised. We are so happy we went with Megan, as these photos will last a life time and they truly captured our special day perfectly. -

This is probably one of our best investments for the wedding. Pictures were absolutely gorgeous. We had Cheryl and she made our photo shoot feel so easy. What was produced was amazing. They were very accommodating during the pandemic as well. We were only able to have a ceremony so they made sure to let us know (without us asking) that we would still be entitled to the reception part in the future. I highly recommend their services. -

A saving grace to a up and down wedding.
Value for performance I can assure anyone reading this that you're searching for the perfect photography group has ended. I myself am a headshot photographer and have worked with a good amount of working headshot, commercial, and food photographers. So when I look through other people's portfolios my instant reaction is, could I do it better. And when I'd seen Jim Kennedy's, and the photographers he worked with, I crossed my fingers and hoped it wouldn't be insanely expensive, and to my surprise, it was not. I know the average person sees wedding photographer prices and they wonder why they'd ever pay that, but I assure you, having been in or around a hundred weddings, having shot them begrudging myself, pay the most for the photographer. Because the cake, the flowers, the filet of fish and whatever else won't matter the next day, or the next year or the next decade. But good pictures will matter. Save money by skipping a videographer, you can get one but I promise you'll spend X amount, watch the video when you get it, share it, and then throw it in a draw. But the pictures will be with you, and you'll see them daily.
Okay, on to our session. Or engagement shoot with Amber was perfect. I've been around cameras for some time and my now wife generally dislikes them and doesn't look natural for them. Amber was perfect, working with us to get everything we needed for an engagement shoot within an hour or so. And not just what we needed, pictures we love that is my cell phone lock screen and pictures in our house. Then came the wedding, or what was supposed to be before 2020 wrecking balled it. I called Jim Kennedy when our wedding was canceled and he said this isn't an issue, and honestly, it wasn't. If you don't know a photographer can easily say, I was booked on this date, you changed it, I can't fill it with another client so, sorry. He said, what can I do to help. We set up or now a mini 30-minute wedding instead of our 8 hours ordeal (pushed back) and Amber showed up and in my opinion, worked the daylights out of her camera and got amazing shots. We had a church wedding. Then we didn't, we got moved to the front yard, then moved to a small courtyard at high noon with wood awnings that cast zebra shadows on everyone. So, seeing that, my expectations were not high. Then, we had masks, also news to us. And yet, we love our pictures. Mask, no mask, whatever. We love them. As a photographer myself, she's significantly better than me and most everyone I know, and that's why I can't thank her enough and am so happy to have worked with her and Jim Kennedy Photographers. I have great hope our larger postponed wedding will be as we (my wife) imagines it. But if it's not, and it's for some reason next to a dumpster behind an I Hop, I still think they could pull out amazing photos. One's I look at and smile on a daily basis. So, yes, 5 stars, all around, perfect, wonderful, the best. Whatever you need to read, trust me, it is true that they will capture your special day like no one else. -

Amber is amazing!
We had to postpone our big wedding, but decided to have a small ceremony, because love is not canceled! Amber was our photographer for our mini ceremony day, and she was AMAZING! She new all the best locations at the Hilton Waterfront for us to get gorgeous pictures. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The staged photos and the candids she took of us are just lovely. Amber was also so open to our picture ideas as well! Simply wonderful! You cannot go wrong with Jim Kennedy Photographers or Amber!! -

Amber and Jim were true professionals! They are a dream team and captured our day so well. We got married during COVID times and every time our plans changed, it was no problem and they could capture and tell the story of the day whatever it ended up looking like. They gave gentle and helpful posing tips to make us look like we were models. Additionally, their knowledge of our venue made for incredible photos and made the day flow flawlessly. They captured the whole day so well, but positioned themselves in such a way during events like the ceremony or dances, that I didn't even know they were there, but the perspective of the moments they captured were beautiful. We will cherish these photos forever! -

Jim Kennedy Photographers absolutely slayed our destination wedding in New Orleans. They were both courteous and responsive setting up our package, and when it came to the big day their 3-person team (we splurged for the videographer, drone shots and all!) hit the ground running. They gave us direction well to get the shots that they knew that we didn't know to even ask for, especially during the first look and walking around the French Quarter. During the ceremony and reception they were unobtrusive wedding snipers, getting some excellent angles of not only our first dance and general husband-wife euphoria, but took the time to capture those intimate moments of our friends and family celebrating the day with us. My only regret is not paying them to stay longer. Book them, you won't regret it. -

Mexico Wedding - Best Photographers Ever!
Cheryl photographed our wedding in January 2019 and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. We had a destination wedding in Jalisco, Mexico on Lake Chapala. The rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were all at different locations - Cheryl did her research, came prepared, and talked through options for how we could make everything work best logistically for photos while honoring the private times we wanted to have as well. I was so happy that Cheryl could travel to be at our destination - her and Jon did an amazing job and captured the moments beautifully.
A few things that stood out - Cheryl and I had a planning phone call in advance where we talked about logistics, important things for day-of, and I shared what kind of photos I thought I would cherish most. She listened and gave insights from her experience, and before the actual event we reviewed it all again. We knew we wanted more candids, action shots, and to capture the colors/design of the day as well as the local neighborhood we had chosen for sentimental reasons. They knocked it out of the park! For the reception, they covered the venue before anything was touched, something I wouldn’t have even thought about, to ensure we had every detail captured. We have photos of speeches and dancing and conversations that show a variety of our guests at the party. Best of all, it was so comfortable to work with them and I had complete confidence and trust in Cheryl’s photography direction! After our wedding, so many of our guests commented that the photos belonged in a magazine spread, which is all Cheryl's eye! I HIGHLY recommend! -

Megan and JKP team is amazing!
Megan and the JKP team were so great to work with for our engagement and wedding photos- highly recommend! My husband and I got married in January 2019 at Talega Golf Club and Megan was our lead photographer. Megan was professional, down to earth and very talented, AND she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera!
Megan took the time to understand my husband and I's vision for our wedding photos, answered all of my (many) questions and was able to direct our bridal party to get amazing pictures on our wedding day. She also took our engagement photos, which turned out to be beautiful! Looking forward to using Megan and the JKP team for photography in the future! -

Working with Jim Kennedy Photography, Cheryl Bradley (Primary photographer) and Amber (co-photographer) was an amazing experience and they were our favorite vendors hands down from our wedding (Married on 2/29/2020- Leap Day Wedding at the Portofino Hotel Redondo Beach). They were professional, easy to discuss what we were interested in, and produced beautiful photos (detail shots, candids, artistic angles). Top notch! -

We are SO glad we hired Jim Kennedy Photographers!! Our wedding was on 8/17/19 at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach, Ca. Jim was very helpful on the phone when we inquired about prices and packages. We worked with Amber and Cheryl on our wedding day and these ladies were so sweet, professional and calm throughout the day...all qualities that are so helpful during a wedding day! My only regret is not hiring them for the entire night!! They knew the venue well and knew exactly which pictures to take, the best lighting and the best locations/spots. We received our pictures very fast and they were gorgeous!! I loved that both ladies posted some pictures on their Instagram and Amber posted some on her blog. All of our guests said how beautiful the pictures turned out and my sister (who was married 5 years earlier) regretted not having Amber and Cheryl at her own wedding! We are completely satisfied and happy with the amazing work done by Amber and Cheryl from Jim Kennedy photographers. We love our photos so much! Thank you Amber and Cheryl!! -

Jim Kennedy and his team were the best photographers we could have asked for on our wedding day, and I can't recommend them enough.
The initial call with Jim was very casual yet professional. He provided plenty of information upfront, and had an answer for everyone of our questions. Pricing was clear and transparent, and we left the call feeling like we knew everything that we needed. Jim has a very professional quote and service agreement signing process that was fully digital (we never met Jim in person, actually), and he operated with very quick turnaround on getting us locked in for our wedding.
Then came the big day...
Amber and her assistant Ashleigh were 100% perfect and executed at an incredible level. They showed up on time, communicated very clearly before, during, after, etc, and even helped communicate between my soon to be bride and I on some completely non-photography issues that popped up. They were both super diligent, hardworking, and worked through our photo shot list as quickly as they could to ensure we had plenty of time for the fun, quirky, and more candid pictures. Amber had numerous tricks up her sleeve to capture otherwise impossible moments, and on top of that, she was incredibly flexible when sh*t hit the fan just before the ceremony and we had to make a major schedule change. She was a ROCKSTAR!! Ashleigh did a phenomenal job as well, spending most of the first half of the day with myself and my groomsmen, snapping incredible pictures in our suite and of the group. I cannot sing their praises enough.
As for the photos, we are shocked at how gorgeous they turned out. Many of our other married friends were envious of how well they turned out, and we couldn't be happier. They absolutely captured the day for us, and we'd hirer them again in a heartbeat.

Being from out of state we were really nervous about hiring a photographer for our Disney wedding. After doing some online research and looking at their samples photos we decided to go with Jim and his photographers. Jim himself called us to go over our vision for the wedding a made a lot of helpful suggests with timing of the wedding. We later spoke with amber who ended being our photographer for the day. She was so easy going took amazing pictures. She has extremely helpful suggestion. My favorite pictures were all the little details of our big day and how she captured not only me and my husband but a ton of our daughter and family that was there. She listened to what I wanted on my wedding day and took it to a whole different magical level. I loved how many photos we got back (over 1000) with two albums one with highlights to share with family and friends. We also two separate videos one with the whole ceremony and one with highlights. If we ever go to California I hope that we can work with them again in the future. I can't say enough good things about Jim and his crew! Thanks again!! -

I am so pleased to have found Jim Kennedy. He and his staff were so accomodating and worked with me on what I was going for. They weren't pushy either, like some other photogrpahers. They stand by their work product and are able to work under pressure. I've already had a chance to see some of our wedding photos and I'm beyond ecstatic to see the rest! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Before hiring Jim Kennedy Photographers, my now husband and I visited 6 different venues. Every venue we visited had Jim Kennedy Photographers listed as a Preferred Vendor. I took that as a sign to reach out for their services, even though I thought there would be a risk of them being unavailable for my date (as it was in September and September is a busy wedding month). Jim reached out to me that day and we scheduled a phone appointment. To my surprise, Jim himself was available on my wedding day! We spoke for about 5-7 minutes. He asked questions about my now husband and me, our vision, and about himself. I felt comfortable with him and felt like we would work well together. We decided to book with him, and we are SO GLAD that we did!
Jim was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. He was running around with his team to ensure we had the perfect shots. He even held my 10 ft long train to make sure it wasn't dragging on the ground. That's dedication! Before he left for the night, he asked if there were any specific shots that I wanted. He was very open to shot ideas, and sticks to the timeline very well. Jim is experienced and has been in the industry for 20+ years, and it truly shows in his work. I will have SO MANY amazing and beautiful pictures to look back on and cherish. Do yourself a favor and hire Jim Kennedy Photographers! -

Amber and Megan = 5 STARS!!!
Amber and Megan are simply the best and we couldn’t be happier to have had them on our team. They are professional, enthusiastic, charismatic, and photogenically adept at capturing amazing moment at the right time.
A month prior to our wedding day, Kristel and I met with Amber to provide her a timeline of our event and almost instantly Amber had a vision of what photos she was going to capture. She helped us put together a list of locations, poses, and suggested the most opportune time to take pictures to make sure we didn’t miss any highlights.
From the moment our event started until the end, Amber and Megan took amazing shots. Its almost 2 months since Kristel and I got married and our family and friends still go through our pictures in amazement describing it as elegant, royalty, glamorous, fun, and exciting. We cannot thank Amber and Megan enough for capturing the highlights of the best day of our lives!

Amber from Jim Kennedy Photographers photographed our wedding at La Purisima Catholic Church (ceremony) and at Rancho Las Lomas (reception) on 08/31/2019.
From our initial meeting to all the emails leading up to our special day, Amber was responsive, professional, personable, and fun! She really listened to what we wanted to capture, all the special moments with our family and friends, and all the candid moments on the dance floor. She completely understood what we wanted.
We had a really long day... we started with a first look, pre-ceremony photos with family and the wedding party, ceremony (Catholic Mass), private photos throughout our venue with just the bride and groom, and then reception. Amber and her partner, John, were so easy to work with and their energy never slowed down.
Throughout the entire night, they were there even if I didn't notice them right away... they were snapping photos non-stop and I'm sure they caught many special moments on camera. I can't wait to see all the photos!
Whenever we asked for a particular photo, they would not hesitate and they would take the photos we requested. They were also amazing at handling large groups of people and getting them all together for one photo.
One thing that really stood out to me and I hadn't even considered it was taking a large group photo with all our guests on the dance floor... Thank you Amber for that great idea!! I'm sure that will be one of our favorite photographs.
We've already received some sneak peak photos from Amber and they are gorgeous! She really did a great job in capturing our love for each other.
JKP pricing is appropriate and their quality of work is ten-folds their cost! Their portfolio shows their quality and it's well worth hiring JKP for their photography services.

Working with Amber and Megan with Jim Kennedy Photography was truly a dream come true. Not only are they incredibly talented and professional but you will also fall in love with their spunky and kind personalities. They're organized and punctual which, as wedding planners, we cannot explain how crucial this is. Photographers are one of the most valuable vendors at events and these girls can be trusted to get the job done. Jim is just amazing! He is easy to work with and lightning fast (so you can go back and enjoy the party) and he absolutely will get stunning shots! He's super responsive before and after the wedding. My photos were ready very quickly. -

Best Destination Wedding Photographer!
We had the pleasure of booking Amber as our destination wedding photographer. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we spoke with her. I could tell Amber had a wide variety of experience in all types of weddings, especially destination weddings. She made not only us comfortable, but also our friends and family. She listened to all of our requests and used her experience to make suggestions on what would work best for photos. It was wonderful having Amber apart of our wedding adventure! -

From our very first interaction with Jim Kennedy's website, we were sold! The images we saw there were, not only breathtaking, but clearly captured the heart and soul of each couple we saw.
Every interaction we had with Jim during our initial phone conversation and all throughout the booking process was clear, professional and courteous.
Throughout the week before our wedding, we spoke with Amber, who was one of two photographers who would be with us on our special day. She re-assured us that she would be there to capture each and every magical moment.
On our wedding day, Amber arrived a few minutes early, bringing the lovely Megan with her. Both ladies were absolutely wonderful the entire day. In addition to being there on our wedding day, both Amber and Megan were back with us bright and early the next day, for our incredible photo shoot in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland. Every member of Jim Kennedy's team (including Jim himself) was a dream to work with. Our photos are above and beyond what we could have ever imagined and we will cherish them for the rest of our days.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Working with Amber and Megan with Jim Kennedy Photographers is a dream come true! We are a Disney couple and as a preferred vendor of Disney themselves, we simply couldn’t say no to the opportunity to work with them! Their work is beautiful, bright and timeless. We had the pleasure of working with Megan for our Engagement Shoot last minute, because Amber was having her baby that week (BTW her and Jim called us to check in on US and the sudden change)! Megan was AHMAZING! We had so much fun with her in the parks, she helped up find all sorts of spots, backgrounds, and perfect lighting to make our pictures magical, fun, and flawless. We can honestly say that it was the perfect kick-off to celebrating our wedding. Then we get the photos and WOW! Fast forward to our wedding at Disneyland Hotel. Amber was back and ready, she communicated with us weeks in advance, she helped us organize our timeline with our special accommodations and had our must-have list printed the day of to help capture all the shots and even scouted in advance to help find the perfect backgrounds and lighting! She was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. To our surprise, Megan who had just had her own baby joined her and it was truly one big happy reunion! Our day was magical, fun, and gorgeous, just look at our photos! They encouraged our imagination, were sensitive to our families, and truly helped make it a memorable and priceless experience. Amber also joined us for our Castle Photo shoot and let me just say, as a plus-size bride, I felt like royalty and my prince wasn’t looking too bad either ;). She ensured we had perfect shots, creative, vibrant, magical, and loving. Bottom line: You will not regret having these amazing photographers shoot any occasion you ask for, we would highly recommend them to anyone!! -

Amber was our wedding photographer and she was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly and made everyone feel totally comfortable. She captured so many amazing moments not only at our wedding but also our engagement photo session. She was very flexible with our schedules and made sure everything went smoothly. My Husband and I love taking photos more than them being taken of us but with Amber we felt like we didn't even have to try. She made everything feel really natural, fun, and creative. She was also very prompt with getting the pictures to us and they turned out SO beautiful. Loved every minute spent with Megan!
From the start, Jim Kennedy Photographers was fantastic. We planned our wedding in 2.5 weeks and weren’t really sure if we would even be able to book a photographer. Our first call to JKP, we spoke to Jim himself who was amazing and very informative. He assured us that they could get the job done even in such a time crunch. He was already knowledgeable in our wedding venue (Montage Laguna Beach) and gave us the rundown on how we’d get the best pictures. And boy did we. Megan was our photographer and we just LOVED her. I’m very shy and almost didn’t want a photographer because I felt awkward. But Megan made me so comfortable i didn’t want her to stop taking pictures. She gave us the best recommendations for locations and poses and also gave us the freedom to incorporate whatever poses/scenes we wanted captured. I can’t say enough good things about Megan. We didn’t want her to leave, she felt like a friend. She even sent us 2 preview pictures that very night! A few weeks later we received all the pictures as promised and we are in love! When we asked her to take our engagement photos, we had a hard time deciding where to venture off to for such an important step in our preparation for the big day. Well, when we told Megan that we wanted them to be taken in Oak Glen and Joshua Tree, she was all in with us. Megan was PUMPED to travel to those places that we had picked because she wanted to help carry out our vision and we could almost see the ideas that were spinning in her creative mind. During the planning stage, she was dependable, punctual, and personable. She was amazing and both my wedding planner and videographer raved about how awesome she was to work with. Her quality of work is spectacular as she truly captured us as a couple, who we are, and every aspect of our special day. We both have large families and I was dreading the chaos for family photos. Thanks to Megan, there was no chaos and she ran the family photos so smoothly, she even got the kids to smile! Monica Sent on 07/11/2018Megan (from the Jim Kennedy team) was the photographer for our engagement shoot. Megan and second photographer Kristen shot our wedding on 6/30/18. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with our experience and photos! They are absolutely stunning! It was so easy from the beginning of the process to the end. Megan was fun, outgoing, and made us feel at ease! She gave us direction (which we needed) but also asked if we had any specific "must have poses/photos" that we wanted. She made my vision come to life! She was a hit with the flower girl and ring bearer, making funny faces in order to make them laugh and smile. Megan and Kristen were a great team and it was nice to have two photographers during the day so one could shoot the groomsmen and the other the bridesmaids during the time before the ceremony. They made great use of their time. I can't wait to order our wedding album with Jim Kennedy Photography and highly recommend any bride to hire them for their big day! Very impressive!

Megan made the entire experience fun, and it really shows in our pictures. Carrying over this fun loving attitude to our wedding, Megan persevered through the ONLY rainy Saturday in 2018, posing us beautifully. She straddled rocks in the pouring rain, held my dripping dress while we piled into a golf cart, and most of all, made us smile the ENTIRE time. He tailored the package to our needs and meeting in his studio and seeing the amazing finished products and albums sealed the deal for us.
Our photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding was Amber. She was STELLAR from day one. She was so helpful in suggestions on where to take our engagement and wedding photos based on the look we told her we were going for. Both locations she suggested, and we ultimately chose, were perfect. She was so responsive with any inquiries we had leading up to the day and made us feel at ease with the process. We also got on a call, at her suggestion, months before the wedding to come up with a timeline of events which was awesome. The wedding planning process can be somewhat daunting, but her taking the time to assist us in planning out the day helped set us up for a seamless wedding day. Not only is Amber professional, extremely responsive, and organized, her work is so amazing, and our wedding photos are beyond anything we could dream of.
Lastly, our engagement album turned out beautiful and we are so excited to start on the process of putting together our wedding album!

We couldn't have made a better decision than Cheryl with Jim Kennedy Photographers. From our engagement session to the end of the reception, Cheryl was an absolute gem. She made us feel so comfortable, which isn't a very easy thing to do when you're in front of a camera. She captures genuine moments and is very detail oriented. She took the time to scope out our engagement session location prior to the shoot and researched locations for at our destination wedding spot. She cares about the quality of your photos as much as you will.
Cheryl is also calming and organized. She sent a timeline for my wedding day that helped me communicate with the rest of my wedding party and vendors and ensured a smooth flow to the day. In the midst of the craziness of your wedding day, Cheryl helps guide you through the whole thing and keeps you happy and calm. She also has a ton of corny jokes to help even your most sour-faced family members crack a grin in the moment. She's there when you need her and also "invisible" to the party, in that she'll capture moments you had no clue she was even there for.
I can't imagine being any happier with the photos from the most important day of our lives so far. -
