Highly recommend!

Jillain and her girls were amazing for my bridal hair and makeup trial and even better on my wedding day! They worked with me and each of my bridesmaids to make sure everyone was happy with their look. I don't wear much makeup regularly, but I felt so beautiful and confident on my wedding day thank to J.Luxe!!

Book J.Luxe!

I knew I was going to be in good hands with Jillain and her team from the moment I came across her Instagram page. It was full of gorgeous, modern up-do styles, exactly what I wanted. I knew I needed a hair stylist that could match the classic, timeless style I was going for on my wedding day.

I was also looking for a new hairdresser at the time I was choosing my wedding day vendors. So, I gave Jillain a try and I am so thankful I did! Jillain is one of those people that is easy to talk to no matter what is going on. She makes you feel comfortable and cared about when you are around her. Jillain is a great conversationalist and remembers what you’ve talked about in the past. She wants to get to know people because she values each person that sits in her chair.

After my hair trial, I slightly changed how I wanted the bun part of my hair to look. I knew I wanted something a little bit fancier than what I initially chose but I had no idea what. I told Jillain this at my next haircut and she sent me some example pictures by the end of the day. Turns out, they were exactly what I was looking for!

On the wedding day, Jillain made my hair look perfect. It held all day, even throughout a church ceremony with a 13’ long veil. I even slept in my hair after my wedding and was able to wake up and head to our brunch with it still looking amazing! Jillain and her team worked to keep us on schedule, we even finished early, and all my girls looked amazing. Everyone had their inspiration pictures ready to go and Jillain and her team were able to create their hairstyles perfectly from those images.

I highly recommend Jillain and her team for all of your wedding and event hairstyling needs!

The women here were great!

Used the salon for bridal hair and makeup for myself and styling for my mom and sister. The women there were great—they were prompt and efficient and even finished a little bit earlier than required. They were all super friendly and made sure that as a bride I was getting my vision, even though I didn’t give them super clear direction on doing so. I was really happy with their service.

Large bridal party

I had a larger bridal party a total of 12 of us I believe needed hair done. Since most of us we’re out of town, and staying in a hotel, Jillain agreed to come to us and do our hair. They worked in a great timely fashion so we didn’t have to all wake up super early (hair started at 10am) I was provided with a detailed timeline of who was getting hair done and at what time and by which stylist. This was great for directing girls the day of so everyone knew when to be in a chair and have us all ready on time. We all LOVED our final looks

Absolutely Stunning !!!

COVID definitely caused a lot of hardship this year but things work out in mysterious ways and I was so happy when our wedding date opened up on Jillain’s calendar - as I have been stalking her hairstyles on social media for years now! She responded to all my questions so fast and provided all the advice I needed to feel comfortable. My Mother’s and all my girls’ hair turned out gorgeous and they were very impressed how quickly Jillain worked! I wasn’t sure what I wanted exactly but trusted in her talent and let me just say... I was obsessed with my hair so much that I didn’t touch it for 3 days (and it still looked incredible)!!!

I never had my makeup professionally done before and can’t lie .. I was nervous. Tricia went above and beyond and even came to our house so we could do a trial and oh my was I shocked !! Seriously - I wish I could have her do my makeup everyday! On the day of, my sisters saw Tricia do my Mom’s makeup and decided last minute that they wanted her to do theirs too - she was so willing and excited to help out!!

Thank you Jillain and Tricia for being amazing women !! You both are so sweet and made the morning easy, calm, and most of all fun!!! I enjoyed every moment and can’t explain how blessed I feel for you both - you made me feel beautiful for the best day of my life ! ❤️

Awesome service!

Wedding days can be stressful, especially while trying to stay on schedule. Not only did these women provide amazing service but were actually ahead of schedule! They were very accommodating. My hair did fall out by the end of the night, but that’s expected after 6 hours of nonstop dancing. They helped me to look my absolute best on my wedding day and that’s really all you can ask for.

Great experience!

Beautiful set up for me and my bridesmaids! They moved everyone through so quickly, we were ahead of schedule! They also really took the time to understand what I was looking for- which was probably difficult, because I’m not sure I exactly knew. I did 2 run throughs prior to the wedding day and everything turned out perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic!

Jillain did mine and my bridesmaid's hair on my wedding day. Prior to the wedding, I did a trial run with her and we found out that my hair does not hold a curl. For the wedding day, she got to the bridal suite extra early to set my hair in curler so that my hair wouldn't fall throughout the day! My hair turned out great and her idea worked. So glad Jillain was available for my day!

Tricia is amazing!

I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life! Tricia perfectly captured my personality and didn't overdo it at all with my makeup. She listened to my thoughts and feelings on makeup and let me call the shots when family was making suggestions. Highly, highly recommend her to everyone in the Syracuse area looking for a makeup artist!

I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE with Jillain. She is so talented at what she does ! My hair and my bridal parties hair looked flawless all night (even after dancing not a hair was out of place) ! She came onsite to my hotel room , was punctual and professional ! I highly recommend her and her team! She’s the BEST!!!!

Jillain was amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. She worked with me to make my wedding hair and makeup dreams come true! I went to a hair trial a couple of months before my wedding and we figured out what would look best. I wanted to incorporate a jeweled hair piece and hair extensions. She was very helpful in making sure I picked out the right products. On the day of the wedding, she came to my venue (early) to get everything set up. She did my hair in an updo as well as my air brush makeup (a must). It was my first experience with air brush makeup. It looked flawless and so natural. Jillain also did hair and makeup for all my bridemaids, my mom, and my mother in law. We all looked fabulous. I was so impressed by how she was able to work on all of us and have us ready in time for the first look! Jillain is very professional and is amazing at her craft. I definitely recommend her! Book in advance because she fills up dates quickly!!

Jillain and her team had done my hair at a wedding I was in, and it was the first time I was in a wedding and actually loved my hair (and I had been in a lot of weddings.) so I knew that when I got married she’d be the first person I called. Jillain and her team were AMAZING!!! They were so nice, friendly and flexible. They’re affordable, and every single bridesmaid loved her hair (which was huge!) I can’t say enough great things about Jillain; just hire her for your next event and you’ll see!

My bridesmaids and I were very happy with Jillain - her professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility (not to mention we looked amazing). I was planning a wedding from across the country and Jillain was so flexible about arranging for a hair trial when I was back in town (two days before - eep!). The day of the wedding, she came to us at the hotel and got all three of us ready with time to spare. Our hair held its style and our makeup stayed flawless all day and well into the night. In terms of price, we know every bride has a budget and Jillain's services were reasonable and well worth the money. I would highly recommend her.

Jillain and her assistant did such an amazing job on our makeup for my wedding. They arrived right on time and were very professional. They did full makeup with airbrush and lashes for myself, my five bridesmaids and my mom and fiancé's mom with plenty of time to spare and everyone looked gorgeous! Our makeup also stayed perfect all day and night!

Jillain and the whole Jluxe salon was so wonderful! Being a girl who never finds a hairstylist she likes and someone that does her hair right, I will forever recommend Jillain. I first heard of her from various friends who used her and I researched her talent prior to meeting with her. I knew without a doubt she would be perfect. I had to book fast with her as she is highly sought after and with my experience with her, I can see why. Her receptionist was able to get me in last minute on numerous occasions leading up to the big day. Jillain never disappointed me and my girls loved their hair! In fact, one bridesmaid said that she never felt more beautiful then that day, thanks to Jillain. I think the biggest testament to Jillains professionalism, love for her clients and her job, and her willingness to make all clients happy is when she unexpectedly fell ill the day before my mother hair trial. She had to cancel all appointments and this point my mom was getting nervous. However, the staff pulled through and had my mom go with someone else that was also experienced. Amanda did the trial and did alot of different hair styles until my mom was happy with one of them. She had great patience and determination to find the right fit (my moms hair was short so it was difficult to find a style) and my mom couldn't have been happier! I can't thank everyone enough and will continue to go there as a result of the amazing job they all do!

Jillain was fantastic on my wedding day. She did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and the mothers. She was exactly on time and got us all done and looking beautiful ahead of schedule. Jillain was very flexible and even travelled to the hotel to pretty us up right in our room which was extremely convenient! Her prices are much more affordable than other stylists I considered. She created a hairstyle for me that was exactly what I wanted and stayed up all day, and I loved my makeup too!

Jillain and her assistant did a great job on both my hair and makeup as well as the hair of my 8 bridesmaids and both mothers. She was flexible to accommodate their different preferred styles and everyone looked wonderful but unique. I also really appreciated that she was able to make me look like a "better" version of myself rather than someone else for my wedding day. I would highly recommend her services!

Jillain and her team did an amazing job on my wedding day. They were casual and fun, yet professional. During my hair trial she took as much time as she needed to make sure everything was perfect and exactly as I wanted it. I had about 12 girls that needed hair and makeup for the day of the wedding, and Jillain was so accommodating and flexible to each girl's personal needs. Not to mention my makeup looked flawless (I highly recommend airbrush and fake lashes). You can tell she is passionate about what she does, and I highly recommend her.

Jillain is a total rockstar. She is hip, funny, and can literally do anything you want with hair and make-up. I loved working with her for my wedding hair and make-up, and her teammate Beth was super nice and talented too. Jillain and Beth worked tirelessly from 9am - 3pm the day of my wedding to make sure all of the ladies looked fabulous by 4:00. Highly recommend using Jillain and her staff - you will love her!

Jillian is the best!! I was planning my wedding from Las Vegas and getting married in syracuse. So I had to do everything over the computer. Any questions or concerns I had I emailed Jillian and right away she would respond. Jillian uses all high end great quality makeup. She is so talented at what she does. She made me look so glamorous! She did my hair and makeup perfect! I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day! Anything I needed she listened and wanted to help. She can do it all. Hair and makeup!! Jillian has a true talent. I am blessed I booked her for my wedding. Also the next time I am in syracuse I am going to have her do my hair/makeup again. Thank you Jillian I felt truly beautiful on my wedding day!!!

I couldn't of asked for a better qualified person, Jillain, to perform magic on my day! She worked with clip in extensions and scarring on my face. A true, professional miracle worker with expertise not only with hair but with makeup. Ladies, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to book her again for any upcoming events.

Jillain and her team were the perfect addition to our wedding day. Jillain was GREAT to work with in advance of the day--and because it would have been a bit of a hassle to get out to her salon to do a run-through, I spoke with her about what I was looking for in advance. She was very receptive to working with me!

On the day, Jillain and Beth showed up EARLY and got me and all of my ladies looking incredible in no time. We were running AHEAD of schedule for the most part! (In other weddings I've been in, this does not happen.) I was so happy with the way I looked on my wedding day, and I know that my bridesmaids were really pleased with the services they received. In addition, We all LOVED the false eyelashes. They looked AMAZING in the photos. JUST A TIP!!

And I am so happy with the way I looked on my wedding day. WAY better than I ever do on a given day! THANK YOU JILLAIN AND BETH!!!

Jillain was great! She came to the hotel I was staying at and was very responsive to the changes I wanted from the trial run! I looked the best I have ever looked and everyone commented on how nice my makeup looked. Additionally, the airbrush makeup stayed in place through rain, sweat and tears! I would definitely recommend her for your wedding!

Jillain was fabulous! She was professional, always on time, fast, and does outstanding work! My hair and airbrush makeup looked amazing and got many compliments on both not to mention they held up all day and late in to the night after hours of dancing! She did my hair and makeup plus 5 others in my bridal party in record time! I wasn't sure what I wanted for my bridesmaids but Jillain was able to give each a different yet beautiful look! I would highly recommend her for wedding hair, makeup and airbrush makeup as well as regular hair cuts and styling. Thank you for everything!!!

Jillain was exactly what you want in someone that is going to do your hair and make-up for your wedding. She was very organized (i had done a dry run of my hair and make-up with her about a month before my wedding and she had all of the things we had agreed on ready to go on the morning of my wedding), fun, laid back and professional. She was very laid back and knew exactly how long it would take to do everyone's hair and make-up (she did me, my mom and my 4 bridesmaids) so that we never felt rushed and we were on or ahead of schedule for the rest of the day!
She arrived early to my parent's house, which was great because you really don't want to stress about anything on your wedding day. And all of us loved what she did with our hair and make-up. For me in particular, I loved the airbrushed make-up and she put on just the right amount - enough to look great in pictures but not so much that I looked like a different person. She was fabulous and I recommend her to anyone!

The last thing a bride wants to worry about is her hair and makeup on her wedding day. With Jillain the worries are over!!! She does an amazing job and you come out looking flawless. I would definitely recommend jillain makeup services to others she was on time very professional she had my bridesmaids looking beautiful including me as well I thought African American skin might be a problem for jillain but no she picked the right shades for each person before she came to the house i was stressed but after she left i was so pleaseed with her service i realized theres no need to be stressed my day was awesome!!!

Jillain and Kim did an excellent job with my 7 bridesmaids and both mothers hair and make up! The girls all looked beautiful and classy. Most of the girls came in with a style in mind and a picture to show Jillain. Jillain was fun to work with and has so much talent. I requested that my make up be air brushed and I am so glad I did, I loved how it looked in the mirror and in pictures! She uses only the best make up and is educated as to how to apply it, same goes for keeping up with all of the trends in hair styles. I would recommend Jillain for any event where you want to look extra special and especially on your wedding day. She has no problem accommodating a large group and plans a schedule according to what works best for you. She came to me, at my suite the morning of the wedding so we did not have to leave the site, it was wonderful! We were done with time to spare which is always nice! Thank you Jillain and Kim for making my wedding morning a fun one and making us all look gorgeous!

I just moved to the area and someone recommended Jillain to me. I went for a trial of hair and air brush make-up a couple months before my wedding. Jillain was patient with me in helping me figure out what I wanted. She took pictures so I knew it would be replicated on my big day. I got married in Geneva and Jillain traveled there and even brought an extra make-up girl to help make sure I could get my bridesmaids and mother/M-I-L made up on time. Jillain even let me squeeze in the crazy flower girl for hair even though she wasn't scheduled. Jillain was there until the minture I walked out the door for my wedding putting on last minute touch ups for the pictures. In the end I fully recommend Jillain for her professionalism, calmness and all around experience.

Jillain has been my hair stylist for years, so when it came to my wedding hair she was a no-brainer! I wasn't sure what I wanted, so Jillain came up with a few ideas for my trial session. She listened to me and provided her insights to come up with a style I loved! My wedding day was stress free thanks to my confidence in Jillain, and my style held up beautifully from early morning until I took it out for bed that night. I always enjoy my appointments with her. Every girl dreams about their wedding as they grow up, imagining that this will be the day in their life where they will feel most like a princess. Jillain makes those dreams come true. In the months leading up to the party, we met several times to talk ideas and she patiently received several pictures that I sent her from websites like the knot. We did a full trial run of both hair and makeup, and I loved EVERYTHING. I was comforted by the fact that she took pictures and notes to make sure that she got everything right on the big day. I chose to get her full wedding package, including having my makeup airbrushed with a full set of lashes. She assured me that nothing would smudge my makeup, not tears, sweat, not anything at all. She was right. My hair and makeup, which I had done before 10 AM, was still perfect at the end of my reception at 11PM! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on our wedding day. Jillain made me comfortable from day one. She truly listened to my ideas and used her incredible talent to come up with the perfect hair and makeup to compliment my dress. I highly recommend her services. She is the best!

Jillain gave my whole bridal party, and myself, the most beautiful hair on my wedding day. She listened to each of the girls and gave them exactly what they wanted. Great pre wedding morning!

Jillain and her staff were very professional and accommodating! They let us bring snacks and drinks the day before so that was one less thing to worry about the day of! Our hair and makeup were flawless and all of my girls were happy with how it came out! We got great compliments and awesome photos! Highly recommend!

Jillain did my hair (updo) and makeup for my wedding, as well as the makeup for my mother and sister, and I was extremely pleased by the experience. She was delightful to work with, responsive to my ideas/requests, and also gave advice and recommendations that helped me feel confident about decisions. Plus, we looked wonderful! My updo stayed in place ALL night, even after some serious dancing & jumping. (By comparison, my mother and sister's hair was done by other stylists at the same salon, and did not hold quite as well. Those were partial up, partial down styles.) And the make-up felt lightweight and pretty natural -- per my request -- but still looked great in photos and stayed pretty and fresh all night.

I only docked a point for flexibility, because we had to have our appointments at the salon OR pay a $100 travel fee to do it at the hotel. I can understand the general justification for the fee, but the hotel was only a few miles away, so it seemed excessive.

I also docked half a point for value, because the prices were on the high side in this market .... and the "practice" updo was full price. (I've heard that some stylists offer discounts for those types of appointments.) However, I was super pleased with the results, so it was worth it.

They were good

They did both my hair and my make up for the wedding. Both were good on everyone and lasted through the night. However, they were very expensive for what you got and hair ran late to the point of not being able to do bridal photos before the ceremony which meant we didn't get very many in general and we had started with plenty of time. Overall they were good with some hiccups. Both hair and make up lasted all night which was truly amazing!
