Amazing Experience at Sitti for Daughter's Wedding Reception

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Sitti and it was one of the best decisions we made! Devan and Jessica were fabulous and the entire evening went without a hitch! The staff was incredible and I can't say enough good things about the entire event. From the moment we sat down with Devan to plan the evening, we knew we were in good hands! A shout out to Johnny Knight the photographer (another recommendation from Devan) who was fabulous! He was a joy to work with and really connected with the bride and groom and everyone who attended. . .his photos were amazing! Thank you again for wonderful memories!!!

Highly Recommend

Got married here and I’m so grateful for the team at Jiddi Space. My wedding was a dream come true. It felt like a lil oasis within the city of Raleigh. it’s quite a nicely sized space. Our guest count was 70people and it was the perfect venue for a small to mid-sized wedding. The food was delicious; all of our guests couldn’t stop commenting on the food we served from Sitti. Kaitlyn and Devan were amazing to work with! The wedding planning process was so organized and smooth thanks to them; they know exactly what they’re doing. I felt comfortable putting my wedding dreams in their hands. Would recommend getting married at Jiddi Space.

Beautiful space, great location

We loved hosting our reception at Jiddi Courtyard. Devan and Kat were a joy to work with and made sure every detail was in place. The cobblestone floor and the market lights are just a few details that make this space so special.

Beyond our wildest dreams!

A great space for a wedding with an amazing staff. We had a 20 person wedding and held the ceremony and reception inside. Coming from out of state, we were unable to visit the space in person or sample the food prior to the event. But the Empire Eats event coordinators Amy and Kat made booking the Jiddi space and all the planning very easy. They were very helpful in answering all of our questions.

The food from Gravy was amazing and the staff took great care of all our guests. Arancini, chicken marsala, braised beef, and tiramisu were all delicious. There wasn’t a single item we picked out that we didn’t love! The space looked amazing and everyone had a great experience. We are very thankful to everyone at Gravy and Jiddi that helped make our wedding go so smoothly and a truly memorable day.

Photographer Experience with Jiddi Space

Jiddi Space is a beautiful space for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception. I photographed a wedding here about a month ago and the beautiful space made creating beautiful imagery of the day extra easy! I highly recommend this venue for downtown Raleigh weddings.

Urban Oasis!

The Jiddi space checked all of our boxes - had food/bev on site, had indoor/outdoor space, and it was a pretty, but mostly blank slate we could decorate the way we wanted. It was perfect for our 115 guests. Food was amazing - catered to kosher, vegetarian, vegan, and lactose-intolerant guests. Devan was great to work with - knowledgeable not just about the Jiddi space, but about all things events/weddings, which was super helpful to us.

Perfect in every way for our wedding!

Literally everything couldn’t have been better!! From the planning to the day of, Devan and the team with the Jiddi Space made our special day absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this space and experience to everyone.

A perfect wedding venue!

We were married at Jiddi in October and could not be more thrilled with the entire experience. Devan was so easy to work and she was always so quick to get back to me via e-mail or phone, even when I sent her a dozen questions! She reassured me throughout the entire process and made sure that our actual event was nothing short of perfect. She even got back to me via e-mail on her day off when I realized the next day that I had left our leftover cupcakes in the space!
And as for the space - you could not ask for a prettier venue in downtown Raleigh. We had so many guests come up to tell us that they couldn't believe how beautiful it was and that they'd never known the courtyard was there, despite eating at Gravy and/or Sitti for years. We used Sitti for our wedding food (and Gravy's Wine Cellar for our rehearsal dinner) and we had so many people tell us that the food from Sitti was the best wedding food they'd ever eaten. I am a vegetarian and my fellow vegetarian/vegan friends could not believe how many options they had throughout the night. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Amazing experience from booking to wedding day!

I can't say enough good things about booking the Jiddi Space for my wedding reception. From day 1, which I booked about a year in advance, the event coordinator Devan was extremely helpful and responsive. They thought of every last detail so I didn't have to! I love this venue because it's all inclusive. All you have to bring is entertainment and any decor you want and you're going to have a fantastic night. All my guests raved about how much fun they had, and it's all thanks to the team at Sitti/Jiddi that made it happen. I'm so glad I chose to have my wedding reception here.

Wow! The Jiddi team was just incredible!

The Jiddi Space and Courtyard had space on short notice and they proved how flexible and awesome they could be with just two weeks to prepare. The food and bar was outstanding and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We had such a relaxed atmosphere with our friends and family all their to celebrate our big day. We can't say enough good things about our entire experience!

Amazing! Food and Venue

The food, the space, where do I even start? We had around 110 guests, all of the recommended vendors we used were just amazing to work with, the food was RAVED about (I wish I could have gotten to eat more!) everyone was great to work with. The servers were so wonderful throughout the entire night. The space is so great you really don’t need that much in terms of decor, we just did tons of flowers and candles and it looked lovely. Absolutely would recommend!!

The Jiddi Courtyard

This space was perfect for our Rehearsal Dinner! It is a beautiful location and the food was amazing. Devan was a great communicator and was very helpful in making sure this event was a success. Would definitely recommend this space for an event!

10/13/18 Wedding--5 stars across the board.

Finding this venue and having our wedding here was a great example of God always provides. And its always BETTER than we could have imagined. We had an Oct 13, 2018 date and our first venue cancelled our date on us 6 months before our wedding. We were horrified. I remember going to a business event at the Jiddi Space and called them and initially they were booked. I remember thinking it would be so beautiful to get married in downtown Raleigh and I was bummed. Literally 2 days later, Devan calls me and tells me that their Oct 13 booking cancelled and we could have the date. It was such an amazing venue and I wish we had booked from the very beginning. The responsiveness was excellent. I planned this entire wedding out of state (CT to NC) and didn't get to meet Devan until two days before b/c of weather delays. She was amazing. The venue is also excellent being downtown, convenient for guests with parking, and lovely in an industrial/rustic way. Our guests loved the food and the service. The space was plenty for a little over 100 guests. Our decor blended beautifully with the venue and the whole night was just so much fun. Really the value put me at ease. You have to pick between Sitti and Gravy but both are so great that I feel lucky we got Sitti catering. So much is included with the space and we were able to stay on our budget and just have the best time. I'm so glad to that for future anniversaries I can eat what I had on my wedding night (I unfortunately didn't get to eat much but brides never do).

Best of Both Worlds

I wanted a night time outdoor wedding and I was able to have it here with no worries. We had both an indoor and outdoor space. The space was beautiful and the staff was great. The food was awesome. Thanks for everything.

The Jiddi Space was perfect for our rehearsal dinner. The food was served buffet style and exceeded expectations as far as taste and presentation. Staff was pleasant and flexible. Devan was very helpful and responsive. All in all a great venue and experience!

We held our sons rehearsal dinner at Sitti during the hurricane weekend so you can imagine our stress, Devan and her team were amazing! She always answered when i tried to contact her and went above and beyond to do anything. She was flexible up until the moment of the event and the venue didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and people are still talking about it back in Michigan. I worked with Devan from Michigan and she was awesome. This will be the first place I go for dinner next time I'm back in Raleigh. Thank you Devan and Sitti staff for all you did!!

We had our son and future daughter in laws rehearsal dinner at Gravy on August 25th, 2018. I worked with Devan and she was amazing. The staff, food, and service was top notch. We were in the Wine Cellar and it was great.

We can't wait to go back to Gravy to have dinner. The food was delicious from appetizers to dessert.

We had our beautiful wedding in the Jiddi Space on August 25. It was perfect. The room was a great size for our 70 guest, dinner and dancing! The lights gave off a romantic feeling, the staff was amazing and on top of everything all night. The food from Gravy was so delicious and everyone talked about it all night. Devan was very helpful and was so easy to work with. I highly recommend the space to any bride!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner in the Jiddi space for 55 people. It was easy to plan the event with the staff at Sitti. I never had any issues communicating with the event planners. It was the perfect space for our group and allowed for a cocktail hour into a delicious dinner. As usual, the food from Sitti was on point. Highly recommend for your next event.

We are extremely pleased we chose the Jiddi Space and Courtyard for our wedding ceremony and reception. The space is gorgeous, the service excellent, and the food amazing! Not to mention the value! The pricing is incredibly reasonable. Devan, their event coordinator, was great to work with. I really appreciated her prompt communication. When our big day arrived, everything was flawless. We had our son's rehearsal dinner in the Jiddi room, and could NOT be happier with our experience! The food from Sitti was beautiful, plentiful, and delicious! The servers were so kind and attentive, and did everything wonderfully. Our evening was timed perfectly, and executed exactly as we had requested and planned, down to every last detail. The planning phase leading up to the night of our dinner was delightful, and everyone was so nice to work with. We will cherish memories of this special evening for years to come, and are so glad we decided to have our event here!

Devan Leicht and the Empire Eats team were fantastic to work with! We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Jiddi space, and had it catered from Gravy.

Jiddi was one of the few spots in downtown Raleigh that could accommodate a group of our size (50+ people) without planning what would basically be a second wedding. We were so relieved when we found this awesome and affordable venue!

Working with Devan was so easy, and during the almost year and a half between when we booked the space and when our event actually took place, Devan was there to answer all our questions.

On the day of our event, the staff were so helpful and friendly. They even helped us break down our decorations post-event so we could enjoy.

And the food. SO good. From appetizers to dessert, our guests raved over how wonderful their meals were. I still dream about the Risotto Balls!

Thank you Devan and Jiddi team for a perfect event!

We had a mess up with the number of people attending, resulting in not having seating fo 3 people who were coming late - we told them about it and walked away. Next thing I know, they have a small table with 3 chairs discretely set where they would not disturb anyone. Beautifully done!

I loved everything about this space for our wedding! We had both our ceremony and reception here. The value is great. The food is great. They do so much at the site that I was not a super stressed bride. Amy was awesome to work with in helping us set up what we wanted and she worked with some of the vendors that were coming. Everyone raved about the food. We had about 130 guests and it was a great space for that many people. I can't say enough how great it was to work with Sitti!!

We were very fortunate to have Devan Leicht as the event coordinator. Throughout the entire process, which started in August of 2017, Devan was very thorough, making sure we had the necessary information not only relating to the services at Gravy, but also providing recommendations for outside vendors and answering numerous questions – some while she was on maternity leave! Devan’s warm personality as well as her professionalism made for a remarkable experience. She is an asset to Empire Eats.
The other staff were also experienced professionals. Our sincere thanks for a team that delivered a quality customer experience.

The food was wonderful. The courtyard was a great space for drinks before and after a sit down rehearsal dinner in the Jidda space. Wait staff very attentive to some last minute dietary needs. Better prices than other downtown vendors.

Amy was amazing to work with. She made our whole affair simple and easy from start to finish. On top of providing everything she promised, when 30 of our guests were unable to attend at the last minute due to weather related flight cancellations, she made necessary adjustments so that we didn't have an abundance of leftovers. I would recommend Sitti for any occasion!

We are so happy with the entire experience of booking the Jiddi space at Sitti. The staff was great to work with, the room was beautiful, and the food was fantastic. Amy really went out of her way to help us make sure every detail was perfect and our entire evening went off without a hitch. They also made it extremely easy to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions.

In November, 2017, my husband and I hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Jiddi Space with Gravy as the caterer. The evening was perfect! We live 3 1/2 hours from Raleigh but the long distance planning with Devan and Amy was flawless. Working with the event staff during the evening of our dinner was easy and relaxed; they were on point the entire time. Our 60 guests enjoyed excellent food and drinks in a beautiful venue. It was a wonderful evening to start the perfect wedding weekend.

We love Sitti! Guys, seriously. What a hidden gem.

We had our wedding reception here, and it was everything we wanted it to be. I'll admit, we got incredibly lucky and had amazing weather, so we were able to take full advantage of the indoor / outdoor atmosphere. Dancing under the pretty market lights, next to the exposed brick walls.... The whole space just has so much character! You really don't need a lot of decor; some flowers and candles, and call it a day. A beautiful and photogenic space.

It really feels like a venue and not a restaurant. The space is very private. BUT you get all the perks / efficiencies of having it at a restaurant b/c the tables, basic linens, staff, food and beverage are all right there! We saved so much money going this route and didn't feel like we sacrificed anything. What's better than that?

The service all night was top-notch. With just under 100 guests, people never really had to wait in line at the bar, which was a real win :) The staff was also so friendly; we and our guests were in good hands. Obviously, the food was amazing, as you know it will be if you've eaten at Sitti before. Lebanese is familiar enough for the traditional crowd, but still exotic enough to make it interesting. Makes for awesome (relatively unique) wedding food.

We also loved working with Amy in the lead-up! She was so knowledgeable and professional the whole way. Very responsible and thorough. Couldn't have asked for anything more :)

If a cool space, amazing food and great value are among your top three, and you can get that guest list below ~120, pull the trigger on Sitti now!

We used Sitti for our wedding reception. We were looking for something affordable while still getting that urban downtown feel. The space is absolutely gorgeous. We had an acoustic band on the small stage. We had dinner in the Jiddi space buffet style and the food was amazing. Even with almost 90 people it didn't feel crowded. We ordered our cake through Sitti as well. Amy was SO helpful throughout the process.. and the night of servers and bartenders were awesome. We used Gravy's wine cellar for our rehearsal brunch the day before- everything about the process with them was pleasant. I really feel so lucky that I found Sitti during our wedding search. Even though it is not a traditional venue we felt like we got the full wedding package and more. Our guests loved the food and setting. Thank you Sitti!!

Jiddi & Courtyard was the perfect location for what turned out to be our perfect wedding. The space has so much character to begin with and with just a small handful of decorations, the space turned out even better than we could have imagined. We held the ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyard and moved inside Jiddi for dinner. We selected Gravy for our menu and (weeks later) guests are still commenting on how delicious the food was. While we were eating, the staff transformed the courtyard for dancing. Devan did an amazing job helping coordinate all of this, from the begining of the planning to the end of the reception. We still can't believe how smoothly everything went and Jiddi & Courtyard, Gravy, Devan and the staff are all to thank!

Hosting our Rehearsal Dinner at Sitti was wonderful! The Event was well coordinated with excellent guidance and attention to detail. The service, food and bar setups were all terrific, with a professional Staff who really cared about the outcome. I highly recommend Sitti as a Venue of choice!

The Sitti event planning team, lead by Amy, really made our wedding celebration an exceptional event! From venue selection, to planning, to the day of coordination, and even after all the guests were gone -- our celebration was stress-free and an evening my husband and I could actually enjoy.
As part of our celebration weekend we also hosted a happy hour at The Raleigh Times, and again the expanded Empire Eats team was just as fabulous.
Our guests are still commenting about the weekend, how perfect the venues were and the amazing food -- best wedding food ever! Could not think of a better place to host an event in Raleigh!

I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Gravy. Devan was excellent as she communicated with me via email frequently for months in advance. Once at the venue my guests of 28 had terrific service from our 2 servers. Each of them paid close attention to my guests needs. The food was great. The wine and bar options were also great. My 'almost daughter in law' eats only gluten free. The Chef made her a very nice GF meal. I recommend Gravy to anyone thinking of doing a private event in the wine cellar. Ruth Ann & Mike

We had the pleasure of having out rehearsal dinner at Sitti. They were so wonderful and thoughtful! They were very attentive to our needs and did not rush us when we ran behind. They were a well oiled machine. We came back almost a month later and they remembered who we were and gave up a special dessert tasting of all the desserts on the menu on the house!! We loved Sitti before our rehearsal dinner but love them even more now!! Such a great group of people and we will definitely have parties with them int he future!!

On New Years Day, we contacted Devan, the event planner at Gravy and inquired about having a wedding in the intimate wine cellar in two weeks. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and was able to accomodate all of our requests and electronically send us the contract for review via email. The day of the wedding, everything was set up exactly as promised and the food was delicious perfection, including the vegetarian options. Most of all, we appreciated the genuine and thoughtful servers who took care of our party. The staff was kind and patient and were the icing on the cake! We can't wait to celebrate our first anniversary at Gravy next year.

You could not select a better place to work with. We had a Rehearsal Dinner for 80 people in the courtyard (cocktail hour before dinner) and the outside room. Devan and Amy were both very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and responsive. They gave us good advice and paid attention to all the details. They were both there the day of our event to make sure things were ready and jumped in to help with some of the set-up as we were running a bit behind. The serving crew led by Scott could not have been more attentive and helpful. The food was out of this world. We'd had dinner there several times and food was always delicious but this was a buffet for 80. It proved to be just as delicious as the restaurant meals we'd had. We had lamp chops, salmon and chicken artichoke entrees. All were delicious but the lamp chops were absolute killers - people raved about them all weekend! We had a full service bar with liquor so you could cut some cost with just having wine and beer. We had music and a slide show, and they have all the equipment needed. The only criticism I would have is that the room can get very noisy as there is nothing soft in the room to absorb sound while all were talking, but it was easy to hear the toasters without mikes. Sitti is absolutely top notch! I would definitely use them again if I was having an event.

Devan and Amy were so helpful and made sure that our wedding reception was flawless. I researched and visited a lot of venues in downtown Raleigh and found the Jiddi room to be inviting, the staff to be totally on top of their game, and a great value for the space and service. I had my baby shower at Sitti and we rented the courtyard and it was the best experience! I worked with Devan as my venue coordinator and she was nothing but fabulous. Super responsive and informative. During the event the staff took care of everything. They even boxed up our leftover food and set it out for guests to take as well. We were blown away by the service and not to mention, the food as always was amazing!!:)

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was amazing. Since the start, communication with the coordinator was awesome. She emailed me back right away and answered all of my crazy questions. To layouts, menu options, dietary concerns, etc. they handled it all. The venue decor was great and they let us come in and decorate how we wanted to hours before the even started. The food was great and we received so many compliments about the food. They even gave us to go boxed for people to take with them and gave us a nice to go plate to eat later on. YUMMY. Thanks to amy and everyone else who helped make that day so special. We love Gravy!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding of 90 people! Absolutely gorgeous with amazing food, and since it's a restaurant you don't pay separately for food and venue so it was relatively inexpensive for the area. Amy and Devan, the event coordinators, we're so responsive and terrific and kind. Everyone was professional and anticipated all the little details so that our day was smooth sailing all the way. Honestly had the best experience. Also, LGBT friendly!

Sitti is a hidden gem. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and reception in the Jiddi room. Everyone kept commenting about how much they loved the space and the food! The event coordinator Amy was very responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the event and had great ideas for how to make the space our own. The day of coordinator Camelia was helpful and got everything organized and running smoothly. If you are looking for a unique downtown space you cannot go wrong with Sitti.

I wish I could give them more then 5 stars. The value here was tremendous. It's rare I say this, but I really feel we got more then we paid for. The event coordinator and the staff were amazing. They took care of us, and did what they could to make it as stress free as possible. I was looking for particular candles-one of the staff told me where they were haha. I don't remember the names of each one of the staff who worked with us last night, but I can say they were flawless. The foot was fresh and delicious. A shout out to the chef and his staff as well. This set up couldn't have worked for us better.

We had our wedding reception in the courtyard of Sitti. It was beyond my wildest dreams, how amazing everything came together. Throughout the planning process Liz, the catering manager, was accessible and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The day of the wedding the courtyard and events room was perfection. The staff working the wedding were not only making sure that my husband I were taken care of, they were also beyond attentive to our guests. Sitti is my all time favorite restaurant in Raleigh, so I was very excited to see that they could duplicate the quality of the food for such a large group. You will not go wrong with picking this location for your wedding/event!

Sitti was fantastic place to have my rehersal dinner. We rented the downstairs space that fits about 60 ish people. The space is great and you hardly need any decoration as it has so much character on it's own. I had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth the coordinator during the whole process before the event! She was so accommodating and easy to work with! It's a great space that they don't charge you to rent the space or for tables, glassware, linens, etc but only pay for food and alcohol. They had a great menu option that accommodated the vegan & meat eaters that I had at the event. The day of the event was perfect!!! The food was excellent, space looked beautiful and the staff gets 5 stars! They were so friendly and happy the entire night! Anything I asked they had a big smile and ran to get whatever was needed! I was so pleased with the event and would recommend them for rehearsal or wedding!!

We recently did our rehearsal dinner in the downstairs private room of Sitti and it was amazing!! The room has so much charm with the exposed brick and it was a perfect size for 60 people. The food was incredible and our guests couldn't believe how much food they kept bringing out! The wine and beer was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect. It was so classy and yet extremely affordable too. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. I highly recommend them for any private functions!!

The space was beautiful, food was amazing and service was top knotch. Our even coordinators really went above and beyond to help us find a place last minute after our previous rehearsal dinner restaraunt closed. Sitti/Gravy is a hidden gem of a wedding venue for anyone getting married in Raleigh. They made sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted, and at one of the most reasonable prices for the exposed brick/rustic/industrial venues in the area. Amy, Devan, and Scott were great. We found this to be a perfect place for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party afterwards. Beautiful setting. Excellent food. I would absolutely recommend it. We would have appreciated one more person to help clear tables to prepare for dessert and a short presentation we planned. Also, felt the charge for use of mic and projector was a bit high, considering the outlay for the whole dinner, etc, Having said that, the staff were a delight to work with and again, I would recommend Sitti.

We rented the Jiddi space for our rehearsal dinner and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff was beyond accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. Having both the patio and inside option was great for our guests. The food is simply amazing - light yet filling - we got so many compliments! The food is somewhat expensive but well worth the money. We would recommend this "hidden" venue for many types of events.

Kudos to Amy, Devan, and the rest of the Sitti staff for a job well done. They were very flexible and accommodating in all aspects...from menu planning to set up to allowing us to personalize the space with our own décor. The food was delicious and they couldn't have done more to accommodate the special dietary needs of some of our guests with serious food allergies. The estimate for alcohol consumption that we were given for our event was too low, and we heard later that this is not an unusual occurrence. We would recommend that estimates of costs for average alcohol consumption be restudied. We used both the Courtyard and the Jiddi, which gave us a wonderful outdoor and indoor space to use. The Courtyard with its market lights offered such a festive atmosphere and was our favorite space. All of our guests were very complimentary of both the food and the venue. We would definitely recommend the Sitti!!

This is a gorgeous venue for an urban reception! It can transform beautifully to fit your unique style. The food was oustanding, our guests are still raving about how delicious and unique the food was. The staff was flawless, they kept the evening flowing perfectly. Family style dinner service kept it casual, but still classy! We loved working with Liz, she really knows how to get things done! We would highly recommend Sitti for any event!

Expect excellent service and a great venue, we used the wine cellar at Gravy! This location was large enough for 40 people to dine and socialize. The service flowed smoothly with each course being brought out at the right time. The waiters were always available without hovering. Food was excellent.
