The best hair and makeup out there!

Tamara and her team did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for me and my bridal squad on my wedding day. She did exactly what we all wanted and even made amazing suggestions for the girls who had no clue what to do! Our hair and makeup stayed on for the next 14 hours. I cannot thank this team enough!

Amazing Job, Calming Presence on Wedding Day :)

I highly recommend Tamara at Jesella Beauty for wedding hair & makeup! I knew from my first interaction with Tamara, she would be a great fit for me. She is very friendly, professional, and easy to work with! I found her pricing very reasonable, especially if you have a big bridal party. She came to Brooklyn from long island for my wedding, and I really just preferred her style to many of the make up & hair artists I found in the city. I did a trial with her and felt like she really executed exactly what I wanted, but gave me good input playing around with a few styles. This really made me feel confident heading in to my wedding day. That day, she brought an entire team, and they were all wonderful! I had 12 bridesmaids, plus parents and grandparents, and we were easily ready for our photos in time. She has a calming presence about her and was lovely to all the girls. I genuinely enjoyed having her around on the wedding day, which was important to me. My make up held up all day and all night! Absolutely no issues and I really didn't even to touch anything up. She helped me fit my clip in extensions into my hair very naturally, and my hair also stayed curled all night, which says a lot for my straight hair. I really loved the natural, glowing look she gave me. Can't recommend her enough!

Superb service, great pricing.

These ladies were awesome and they work so quick! Our wedding was during COVID but we had no worries because we knew proper precautions were being taken. Everything was sanitized, the staff wore masks. They arrived on time and go right to work! The hairstyles and makeup for me and my bridal party lasted all night. Even when we had to wear a mask, the makeup didn't budge and the fake lashes stuck on strong. I received lots of compliments on the makeup especially! Great, quality service and reasonable pricing, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Nothing short of amazing

I am so happy I found Tamara of Jesella Beauty! She is simply amazing! I got married last month and she works total magic! I initially found her through a friend, and after I saw her pictures I had to schedule a trial for myself. And I highly recommend doing one. The trial was very relaxed and Tamara addressed all my needs and concerns for hair and makeup for my big day. My bridal party was small, so I only needed a few people to get their hair and makeup. She brought along a second artist, and she also did such an amazing job! These ladies were very professional and captured everyone’s vision. Also, with Covid-19 they were sanitary and mindful of their jobs. I highly recommend going to Jesella beauty if you want a wonderful hair and makeup artist for your special day!

Professional, Communicative and Stunning Results!

Tamara, and her team at Jesella Beauty came to our house on my wedding day in September and were top notch. They were highly professional, kind, efficient went it came to our schedule, and a pleasure to be around. Our group of seven women plus me were thrilled with how our hair came out, including me, the bride, and I would absolutely recommend them. Tamara, who did my hair was highly communicative and organized leading up to the day of the event and I personally, really appreciated that. She was also flexible and her and her team made sure our bridal party was very happy! Thank you Jesella Beauty!

Made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful!

Tamara was amazing to work with and made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful on my wedding day. After my makeup trial, I had decided I still wanted to make some tweaks for the wedding day, and she was completely understanding of that. Tamara was able to recreate the exact look I wanted, even though the photo I provided wasn't super close-up or detailed. She was able to give me helpful feedback about lipstick color and hair extensions as well. Tamara and her team also work quickly, and they were able to get me and all my girls done by our scheduled photo start time. A few of the bridesmaids commented that they wish their own wedding makeup artists/hair stylists had been as good as Tamara and her team. She is also a pleasure to talk to and couldn't be nicer.

Simply the Best!

I am the mother of the Bride and Tamara and her crew worked such magic for my daughter's wedding. All of my daughter's bridesmaids have been in so many weddings and all 9 bridesmaids could not have been more complimentary of Tamara and her team. They were patient, creative, and so attentive to detail. They created sheer beauty that was understated but brought out the beauty in each and every bridesmaid, MOB and our beautiful 90 year old grandmother. Nothing was over done and the pictures were amazing.....This is my fourth wedding and feel Tamara was by far our best make-up and hair artist. I have no hesitation in recommending her to everyone. She really listens and enhances everyones inner beauty.

July 20 wedding make up!

Tamara at Jesella Beauty is truly amazing! She was really great to work with, very responsive and helpful! She was so patient with me throughout the trial and made myself each of my bridesmaids look beautiful! We had 100 degree weather and even with outdoor pictures everyone’s make up stayed perfect throughout the night. I would highly recommend Tamara to any bride!!

Tamara does a beautiful job every time!

My cousin looked absolutely gorgeous at her wedding so once I got engaged I asked her for her makeup artist's contact information and she introduced me to Tamara at Jesella Beauty! I don't wear a lot of makeup but for my trial (which I wore to my bridal shower) Tamara did such a natural and beautiful look!

For my wedding day I had 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself, and despite the large number of girls, Tamara and her assistant did a beautiful look for each one, and everyone was happy!! I am so grateful to Tamara for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day, as well as for her calm and cheery demeanor while we were getting ready. I plan to go back to Jesella Beauty for the next event I have!

wedding makeup!

Tamara was absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning. A family friend of mine used her for her wedding and after looking at photos I knew I wanted her for my wedding. She came to my house on my wedding day and did makeup for my self along with 7 of my bridesmaids and family members. She was so fun and kind to every single one of them. She recreated every look that every girl wanted along with my own. We started to get ready at 7am and my makeup was still going strong almost 20 hours later when I arrived at my after party.
Everyone loved that the price included lashes and airbrushing. I will recommend Tamara to all my friends for any upcoming wedding or event. Thank you so much for being apart of my big day!

Beautiful results and such a warm person!

Tamara was absolutely incredible as was all of her staff. I received her contact information from a colleague of mine who absolutely raved about her and she was so right. I did a hair and makeup trial at her house and she was so kind and friendly and just made me feel at ease -- i knew this was the person who I needed to keep me calm while in the makeup chair the day of my wedding. After the hair trial, I wanted to make some changes and sent her more photos to reference for the day of and she made sure to save everything. I was so thrilled about the way my hair and makeup came out -- my face was natural and not caked on and my hair was down and stayed perfect all night. I also loved that T and her team use airbrush and lashes (if requested) for everyone -- i have never been to a wedding where that was included for all of the bridesmaids. I recommend her to everyone I know who is getting married. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Amazing Experience!

Working with Tamara was fabulous! She was recommended to me from a friend and I couldn't have been happier with how my hair and makeup came out. I had 8 bridesmaids, myself, my mom and my mother in law and the whole morning ran very smoothly. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted all day and night. Tamara did my makeup beautifully and I was able to recognize myself. Working with Tamara from start to finish was a pleasure and would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is looking for a natural makeup look and/or a stunning updo!

I hired Tamara from Jesella Beauty for my wedding because I loved the pictures on her website and thought they really highlighted the brides' natural beauty. She did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and our mothers and grandmother on the morning of the wedding, and she did a fantastic job with everyone! The makeup looked natural, not overdone, and Tamara was able to make all my bridesmaids look great even though they all had different hair colors/skin tones/etc. She also gave my bridesmaid some free advice on what lipstick colors would look best for her graduation next week. The makeup stayed looking fresh from 8am all the way through the night, even though I did regular makeup instead of airbrush. I went to bed that night without removing it and in the morning about half of it was still there!

Tamara showed up on time the day of the wedding, and responded quickly to all my emails from when I booked her all the way up to the week of the wedding.

Tamara was excellent to work with! I was lucky enough to have her do my make up when I was a maid of honor for my best friend. I actually went with my friend when she got her make up trail, and then I booked her also for my make up. After my friends' wedding I booked her for mine. I was a cross country bride coming from California to NY so I really appreciated that she was flexible with her schedule to accommodate a make-up trial for me and my mom while I was in NY visiting prior to the big day. On the day of, Tamara arrived on-time and did makeup for myself, mom, maid of honor, and one bridesmaid. She is calming, pleasant, flexible, dependable, and most of all talented! Everyone loved how their make up came out. I felt like my makeup was glamorous yet natural. I would highly recommend her!

I first met Tamara for my hair/make-up trial. She took the time to understand what I wanted and was extremely patient. I felt very comfortable in her hands and enjoyed listening to her ideas.

I did my trial with Tamara and she did a fantastic job. First of all, she is just such a wonderful person and she took the time to understand what I was looking for and what I wanted. There are certain things brides can be picky about. Makeup ranks high. Every bride wants to look flawless. Tamara does that for you. She's incredible! She's very professional, super sweet...and an expert on all things makeup. She did my mother, best friend, sister and my makeup...each person with different skin tones...each wanting a different look. Tamara accomplished all those looks!

I will be using Tamara every time I have a big event to go to on Long Island. She's amazing!

Tamara is professional, knowledgeable and quite talented. I used her services for my own wedding and again as a guest at a wedding recently. I am not someone who uses a lot of make-up and I love that her style accentuates finding natural beauty and not that overdone look. As a matter of fact, when friends not in attendance at my wedding have seen the photos, they have often asked whether I did my own make-up because it looked so natural (yet enhanced). To me, this is a huge compliment.

Tamara responds quickly to inquires and she is very accommodating. She offered to purchase the lipstick and gloss to be used at the wedding and brought it the day of. It was a huge help. Tamara has a great disposition. She is calm, easy going and open to hearing what you'd like. Yet, she will also provide her professional opinion which is of course very helpful. I have recommended her services to friends.

I knew I wanted to use Tamara even before I got engaged, and I can definitely say she did not disappoint!! Tamara was amazing! She did my makeup, my mother's makeup, and two of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous! She was always so sweet and patient and during my trial she didn't stop until I was happy with the perfect look! My wedding day was the best day ever. It was everything I dreamed of and more and having Tamara do my makeup contributed to that feeling! I already know if I have another event to attend to I will definitely be calling Tamara! I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed!

I had Tamara do my makeup and hair as well as my mom and sister's makeup and hair for my wedding in October. Tamara is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She makes you feel so comfortable and really listens to what you want. She did an amazing job for both makeup and hair! We all felt so beautiful and even more importantly, our makeup and hair stayed perfectly the entire day and night!
Tamara is so professional, always on time and very accessible if you need to get in touch with her for any reason. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup/hair vendor!!

I was looking for someone who could do natural makeup so I would look glamorous, but still look like myself on my wedding day, and Tamara did just that. She was absolutely wonderful, kind, easy to work with, and understood exactly what I was looking for. My trial was great, but I had a few adjustments I wanted to make to my hair for the actual day, and Tamara easily took the feedback and was able to do exactly what I wanted. I was so incredibly happy with both my hair and makeup, and the airbrushing that she did made it last all night. My bridesmaids, mother, and the mother of the groom also had their hair and/or makeup done, and everyone was very happy with the results. Tamara brought an assistant at our request so we wouldn't have to start too early, and it made the process go so smoothly. I'm so happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Tamara to everyone I know.

Tamara of Jesella Beauty did my makeup for my wedding on June 14, my makeup was beyond amazing!!!! I got airbrush makeup, and it stayed on all night. Makeup was done at 1 and ceremony was at 8 and by end of night it was still great. She also did my mother in law, sister in law and bridesmaids and their makeup was gorgeous. Also, she is very flexible and has a great personality, very nice and friendly. my bridesmaids is planning on using her for her wedding next year. 100% recommend, you will not be disappointed, she is awesome!

My maid of honor looked like an exotic Polynesian with the beautiful make-up she had on and I from the 30's Gatsby look. My guests kept on complimenting us on our make-up and the way we looked. I absolutely loved Tamara! She was amazing. I loved the way my makeup came out as well as all my bridesmaids. She was quick to respond to any question I had prior to the wedding and she was super professional the day of. I appreciate everything she did for me even traveling to my wedding in the middle of a tropical storm she did not let me down and that means the world to me. If I have any other events I would definitely use her.

Tamara did a fabulous job on my wedding makeup. Every bridesmaid wanted something different (One wanted rockabilly makeup, while others wanted a more natural look. I, myself, wanted a smokey eye/hollywood look.) And everyone was pleased with the result. Even though we got ready at 9am, the makeup lasted until the party ended at 1am. If I ever needed another makeup artist, I would absolutely use her again.

My Wedding Day would have never been the same with out Tamara's wonderful hands!!!! She is so professional and well experience, definitely knows Make Up!!!! and trust me I do make up, but she's awesome!!! I really feel she enjoys making brides look their BEST!!! and that is such a relief to find.. I am very late on my review because my job is on going, however I have had it in the back of my mind because she honestly made me look phenominal and my brides maids as well. If you are looking for someone professional and someone that will listen to what kind of look you want to aim for then she's the one!!!

Tamara did my makeup for my wedding. She was beyond amazing. From the moment I went to the first trial to arriving at my apartment for my wedding she was there every step of the way giving great suggestions. She initiated a second make up trial for free because she wanted to try a different style for me. She was so accommodating when I had to change my wedding date due to the hurricane. She worked on my MOH and 6 BMS in addition to myself. She was very professional, and listened to all the girls thoughts on their look. I also had her do my hair and makeup for a different occasion in which she did another fabulous job. I will most definitely be calling her to do my hair/makeup for future outings. If you want someone who is attentive, reasonably priced, and extremely talented then look no further!!

I worked with Tamara for my wedding last month for my make up for myself, my bridesmaids and the mothers. Tamara was awesome from beginning to end! From the time I first emailed her with questions, through the trial process and all the other questions and concerns I had leading up to my wedding day, she made me feel completely at ease. She did an amazing job in helping me and my girls look and feel our most beautiful on my special day. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her if you want a helpful, kind artist who knows how to make you feel great. I plan to contact her in the future, too, for a 'night out on the town' because the look is natural and not overdone.

Tamara of Jesella Beauty was a complete pleasure to work with. My make-up looked beautiful as well as that of my bridesmaids and mothers. Having the added challenge of working under the creative confines of a themed Hollywood glam wedding, Tamara not only successfully created the gorgeous dramatic look I wanted, but was enthusiastic about the challenge.

My wedding was in the early afternoon so it was great that she was so accommodating, arrived at the venue with a lot of time in anticipation, and managed to complete the makeup of 7 women other than myself, the bride. We were made-up in time for the photos and our faces looked fresh throughout the entire event.

I will gladly contact Tamara if I ever have another event and will recommend her services to any future brides.

I used Tamara for me, my mother and my four bridesmaids on my wedding day. We all got airbrush makeup done and it was flawless. Every single one of us looked amazing, and our makeup lasted all night. She was very easy to work with and always had a smile on her face. I would definately use her again!

Tamara did such a wonderful job on my wedding day makeup! She was wonderful during trials, even though I wasn't sure what I wanted, she kept going until I was completely thrilled with the end result. She is such a pleasure to work with, friendly, professional, and so talented. The morning of my wedding was very, very, early, and she was right on time, and had myself, my MIL, and BMs all ready to go on time, and looking gorgeous. After seeing my professional pictures, the makeup was even more beautiful than I remembered it. I couldn't be happier that I chose Tamara to do my makeup on such a special day.

After having 4 previous makeup trials & being unhappy with all of them, I was seriously considering doing my makeup myself on my wedding day. I'm someone who wears makeup everyday, and I'm pretty good at it, but I figured a professional makeup artist would know some things I didnt & be able to make me look more glamorous. After a long search, and many emails with different makeup artists about their availability and pricing, I decided to give Jesella Beauty a try. Tamara was very friendly and professional, and best of all, a perfectionist. I was looking for a more retro old-hollywood style look with the black eyeliner that comes out in a wing on each side, which proved to be a challenging request to the previous makeup artists. Luckily, Tamara handled this look perfectly, the eyeliner was perfect & symetrical and my skin looked flawless with the airbrush foundation. I was so happy with the trial that I booked her the next day. On my wedding day, she arrived on time & did a beautiful job on my mom, my MIL & myself. My MIL is not always the easiest person to deal with, but Tamara was very patient and attentive to her requests. I received tons of compliments from all of my guests & cannot wait to see the professional pics from the photographer!

I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding on July 6, 2012. After seeing pictures on Jesella Beauty's facebook page, the bride and I knew we had to do a trial, because the work looked amazing! And we weren't disappointed, especially me because my face is a hot mess. I have a lot of scarring and post pigmentation from acne, but after Tamara was done with me I had smooth even skin tone, with no cakiness feel and my smokey eyes looked amazing. She also did my hair up in a bun and it was lovely. The bride had a very natural makeup job with bronzey eyes and a glossy lip, which made her lovelier that she normally is :D Tamara did an amazing job, she was prompt the day of the wedding, took her time and paid attention to detail. She's sweet and attentive, and if I ever have to do another event, I'm definitely booking her again. Thanks Tamara for everything!

I had Tamara from Jesella Beauty as my makeup artist for the day of the wedding and it was a wonderful experience. From day one, when one of my Bridesmaid and I went to visit her for a trial run, she was very personable and attentive to our request. For the day of the wedding, I made last minute changes to the makeup style and she managed to work around the look I wanted and came out absolutely beautiful. I could not have asked for anyone better. My entire family and friends, loved the makeup and it looked very natural, not to mentioned that it lasted the entire night.

Tamara did a wonderful job on my makeup ( bride) as well as my wedding party ( maid of honor and mother of the bride). She was prompt and not only did she did an excellent job on our makeup but she made the entire experience pleasant with her bubbly personality. We opted for the airbrushing and it was worth the extra money. Our makeup lasted all day and we needed little to no touch ups. I highly recommend Tamara!

I met Tamara in June - she was the first and only make up artist I went to see. i end for a trial in her home - and i was completely impressed. I walked out of the trial 100% satisfied and booked her.
The day of my wedding she arrived promptly at the hotel.
In a room of chaos she created the look i always imagined for my wedding. My step mother wanted her eyes done after seeing mine, and although she wasn't booked in, Tamara happily obliged! (and did a wonderful job)
She did an amazing job. I was complimented the whole evening on my make up and how flawless i looked.

Tamara is a true professional. She is friendly, experienced, and I would recommend her (and do) to anyone in need of a make up artist.

I am the sister referred to in one of the previous reviews. I decided to use my sister's wedding as my "trial run" and was absolutely blown away by Tamara. She is first of all an incredibly talented artist, has a terrific personality and is able to think outside of the box. As my sister said, the location at her wedding was not optimal for makeup application, but Tamara worked with it and did a terrific job. My fiance (now husband) had never before complimented me on my makeup, but he did that day.

I asked Tamara if she would do my wedding several months later. She came to my home because my venue didn't have an appropriate space and once again blew me away. I'm not one of those people that walks around feeling pretty but by the time Tamara was done with me...I felt incredible.

I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for a makeup artist to choose Tamara. I will be contacting her again for the next big event.

If you want to look beautiful and still look like you on your wedding day, then Jesella Beauty is the place to go. I had two other makeup trials before I found Tamara. Prior to meeting her, I left the salon looking orange (trial #1) and eyes way too dark (trial #2). I just wanted to look like me but in a more classy and natural way. A family friend who just got married recommended I meet with Tamara. Tamara was amazing! She knew exactly what I was looking for. She made me look natural, but absolutely stunning. My eyes popped. My skin looked flawless. I felt like a model on my wedding day. My mom, who also got her makeup done, looked 10 years younger. Tamara is a skilled makeup artist. I have nothing but rave reviews for her. I looked amazing on my big day and it’s all thanks to her. I highly recommend you use her!

Tamara did an amazing job on my makeup - a true professional with a great personality! I went to her home to do the trial and was blown away - I don't think I've ever looked so perfect! On my wedding day she was there on time and did an amazing job - the lighting was not optimal in the only spot available for her to work, but it didn't matter - it came out perfect. She also did the makeup for my sister who happened to be my maid of honor. My sister loved it so much, she booked Tamara for her own wedding! I would recommend anyone looking to get a great professional makeup job done to reach out to her.

Tamara was fantastic! I first met her for a trial at her house. She was so warm and I felt comfortable and at ease right away. She spent a good amount of time on trial and lucky for me, I was able to schedule my hair trial in the same day. I did end up changing the eye shadow colors on the Wedding day and she did exactly what I envisioned. On the actual day of my Wedding, it was the the most humid/hot day of the summer and my makeup stayed on all night! It was amazing-lashes are a must. Tamara is also such a calm, warm individual which I found so comforting on such a stressful day! I can't thank you enough and will be recommending you to my friends!
