An amazing photographer
Jeramie was very professional. He was an absolute blast to work with, he is very attentive to his clients. He was a major help on our big day, he made everything go as smoothly as possible even when he didn’t have to help out. I would absolutely recommend to him anyone and everyone. He was absolutely worth hiring. If i could have the chance to go back and redo it he’d be hired everytime. -

I first met Jeramie at a wedding expo in Reno, NV and almost immediately, I knew he'd be our photographer. His personality and professionalism stood out and for me, this is incredibly important. I got his card and some cool stickers and within a week, he followed up with Mark and I to set a coffee date to meet and go over the wedding plans. What was so cool, is that, while we had a wedding planner/ coordinator already, it seemed as if Jeramie would be there to help take the reins too without being overbearing.
The big day came and because Mark and I were getting ready in two different places, we had a second photographer on team. She was amazing, friendly and fit in so well with my gals and me. Jeramie hung mostly with the guys and took the coolest shots and had the BEST ideas to document the boys.
For the first look and group shots prior to the ceremony and celebration went so well. Both our families were so impressed with the direction, communication and overall fun of the shoot. After ceremony, we did a groom bride-alone shoot and the creativity, spunk and spontaneity of Jeramie and team was so impressive. I cannot go on about how FUN he made it, too.
Jeramie Lu is by far, one of the most fun photographers I've ever encountered. He is professional, together, smart, sharp and just a joy to be around. I cannot say enough good things about him and his business. The value of what you pay is there and I think we made the best decision in choosing him. I've left some of the initial photos he gave to us within a day or so of the actual wedding. Cannot wait to get the rest of the images and our photo book!

Where do I even begin? Jeramie has completely exceeded every expectation we had, and we haven't even made it to our wedding day yet! We booked him for both our engagement and wedding photos, and our engagement session ended up being one of the most fun and memorable things we've done since getting engaged. We laughed the entire time and felt so comfortable, like we were just hanging out with a friend who happened to have a camera. After hearing us gush about how amazing the experience was, our families went and booked their own session with him too! Now we have the most beautiful photos for our Save the Dates and Christmas cards, and memories we’ll treasure forever. I'll definitely be updating this after the wedding, but for now, I can confidently say that working with Jeramie has been one of the best decisions we've made. The photos are stunning, his energy is unmatched, and he has such a gift for making every moment feel effortless and fun. -

Best. Photographer. Ever... SERIOUSLY!
Holy CRAP! Having Jeramie photograph my wedding was probably the MOST fun I have had taking photos in a very long time. We were constantly laughing, joking and the time flew having him there. His expertise came to light when shooting photos and EVERYTHING was a photo opportunity! From our initial communication to finalizing timelines to the actual wedding day, my husband and I had a BLAST working with Jeramie. He travels to you, is clear in asking for what he needs for the perfect photos and is flexible during the shoot. Cannot recommend him enough! -

The second I saw Jeramie’s work I knew we had to have him for our wedding. Backed by an award-winning reputation, his electric energy and artistic eye had us laughing and smiling all day, leaving us with the MOST UNFORGETTABLE wedding photos. That’s just Jeramie. Not only did my husband and I love him, but so did my guests and my other vendors. Jeramie and his team understood the mission and delivered with style and pizzazz. And to say he went above and beyond is an understatement… This man was sprayed with champagne by the bridesmaids, risked his life on a ladder with our videographer to capture the perfect wedding dress shot, and even followed the bridal party down a mine in an effort to capture our special day. If you need to choose one vendor over all others, I highly recommend Jeramie Lu Photography. He was, without a doubt, worth every penny, and it was such a comfort not to worry about my wedding day photos. His team was professional, communicative, and had an uncanny ability to make everyone on the other side of the lens feel comfortable. Jeramie is an awesome photographer for professional portraits. Our whole team had sessions with him, and everyone was pleased with the experience and the results! In 30 minutes, he'll take like 100 photos in various poses and then you get to review them all within a week or so and digitally purchase your favorites. He's fun, friendly and really makes you feel at ease during the session. His studio is well equipped and relaxed. What a great experience! I recommend Jeramie whole heartedly to anyone looking to update a professional headshot. It's also good to update your professional photo every 1-2 years, which I didn't know previously, so we will be back! -

The best of the best!!! A great experience from beginning to end. I interviewed a couple of local photographers and am so glad I chose Jeramie. Jeramie blows me away every time we work together!
I’ve worked with Jeramie many times as the videographer to his photographer and I always sing his praise in private with my friends and family so I might as well do so in public. Jeramie’s ability to ensure the client or subject, standing in front of the camera, feels at ease is remarkable. His eye for the best angle and his eye to enhance the shot through editing is great.
Jeramie boasts that he delivers the “Disneyland experience” to his clients by knowing what they want before they want it and going above and beyond in providing it, and I can attested he provides it time and time again.

Jeramie created an extraordinary experience from beginning to end. He always responded within two days of reaching out, and communicated regularly throughout the entire pre-wedding process. He and his assistant blew it out of the park on the wedding day! Several wedding guests came up to us to compliment us on Jeramie. Everything he does is of the highest quality, and when I saw the photos my mouth dropped to the floor. Our sunset photos were especially out of this world! I learned since the wedding that he also won best photographer/videographer in Reno for 2023, and he is completely deserving of this award. He is expensive but 100% worth the investment. These are photos that will last us a lifetime, and one of the best decisions we made for the wedding was to hire Jeramie and his team! -

There are too many good things to say about Jeramie Lu and his photography! First, Jeramie (the person) is incredible. He’s gracious, patient, organized, kind, and hilarious. We hired him for engagement photos after meeting him at a company holiday party where he stole the show. The pictures turned out amazing and Jeramie made the process easy and enjoyable! We then promptly hired him for our wedding. Throughout both processes, Jeramie was communicative and patient with us. He was also very generous, trickling in little personal gifts and surprises along the way, making everything exciting and adding a very human touch to our stress-filled wedding planning. He was also willing to travel to our wedding venue in Monterey (through a snowstorm as it turns out) in order to make our day perfect. We truly couldn’t appreciate him more!
As a photographer, Jeramie is professional, detail oriented, highly skilled, and has an important and uncanny knack for making the subject of the shot feel at ease and natural. As people who don’t love getting our photos taken, this was really critical for us, and something that we didn’t ever really consider. He has a natural ability to make things fun and relaxed, which comes through in his shots. He also captures the unique style of his subjects–we were completely blown away by how perfectly and uniquely “us” our photos turned out.
Jeramie was integral in helping us carve out our wedding timeline (beyond just the photo shoots) and he coordinated behind the scenes with our day-of coordinator and other vendors to ensure that things went off as smoothly as possible (which they did!). Both our day-of coordinator and hair and makeup team went out of their way to tell us how amazing Jeramie was as a photographer and to work with–both industry professionals expressed that they had never had a photographer be so engaged with the entire vendor team, reaching out to sync with everyone ahead of time and seeing what they needed so that they day would be seamless. He also worked with us to create a custom photo package that fit our budget, and was very helpful and flexible every step of the way!
Most importantly, the photos look incredible! We couldn’t be happier with the way he captured our unique style and the sweet, intimate and special moments of our wedding. He does a hugely impressive job of blending staged photos that look like something out of a beautiful film, with candid photos of speeches, dancing, drinking, and laughing throughout the event, always with the perfect lighting, and making the subject look like a model.
Simply put, Jeramie is the complete package! Stop your search and hire him immediately for your wedding, engagement photos, or any other event/occasion. Booking Jeramie Lu is the best decision we could have made for our wedding! -

I have no words to describe how wonderful Jeramie is! He was the first vendor we contacted and interviewed and the minute we spoke to him there was no doubt! He was our photographer! Oh Snap! Get it?
When you think about your big day, in your head it’s going to be perfect and amazing and everything your dreamed of. But it will fly by and how will you remember each special moment, glance, kiss, hug, and smile? Jeramie will capture it all. You won’t even realize each moment he caught. He was absolutely amazing. When we got our photos back, I was literally in tears (of joy). He is hilarious and easy going. He worked so well with our kids and got great photos of them as well (we know how hard it can be for a kid to pose for a photo). He is very responsive and flexible. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule some things but he was on board with any change we made, no ifs, ands or buts. Best decision we made
Think you’re not pretty enough? Think you’re double chin is the star of the show? Think your nose dominates every photograph you take? Think you ate one too many *insert vice* to look good in your wedding dress? Then you’re me pre-Jeramie Lu Photography.
We hired Jeramie for our wedding because I’d seen his work from my best friend’s wedding years ago. I remembered him, how professional he and his wife were, and what an amazing job he did. My husband and I got married after having a child so I was not happy with my looks or my body. I was nervous how our special day would look on camera. Jeramie did such a phenomenal job that I don’t even notice the things I was so insecure about in his photos. They’re still there, but his artistic nature made my flaws background noise and highlighted the parts of myself I love.
Vanity aside, he truly is an artist. The perspectives of his photographs, the unique style, it’s all absolutely stunning. After having seen some of our photos, we will probably never hire another photographer. I don’t care if we have to fly him out of the country. He is our first choice.
There were a small handful of absolutely solid choices we’d make again if we could do our wedding over; Jeramie Lu Photography is definitely one of them. -

Jeramie Lu is BY FAR the BEST money you will ever spend to document your special event! We hired Jeramie for our engagement shoot and as our wedding day photographer. Jeramie is not only your photographer, but an exceptional helping hand with planning and helping the event flow smoothly! We had many site changes, multiple sites, and lots of crazy family. Jeramie made the day roll so smoothly, and I haven’t even mentioned the photos! We have spent hours looking over the thousands of beautiful images Jeramie was able to provide. Great work ethic
Jeramie Lu was a pleasure to work with not only is he very friendly but he is also very patient. Finding someone who is patient when you have kids can be a task. He has kids himself and understands how children work and how it may take a little longer to capture certain moments. Weddings can be very stressful, so having someone patient with your to-do list & his to-do list is huge! He has great work ethic and always follows through on his word, which means a lot if you’re a perfectionist! He is very out-going and very sociable.
