A Dream Come True!
I cannot say enough good things about Jen Strunk. She was my right hand man throughout my whole wedding process. I had a backyard wedding which seemed like it would be really difficult to put together but with the help of Jen my dream wedding came true. What I was most impressed by is Jen has a solution to any problem or issue you may come by. Weddings are very stressful but I didnt feel stressed at all because of her. She is so positive, organized and fun to work with. What is also great about Jen is she has so many different connections to vendors and all the vendors she recommends are amazing. Didn't have one issue with a vendor I used that she had suggested. I had talked to a few planners before I booked Jen. But after of 5 minutes of speaking with her I knew she was the perfect wedding planner. The intake call she was already making a timeline and making suggestions on how to make my wedding day the way I wanted it. She made me feel so special. The other planners I had spoken to seemed to care more about how much they were going to get paid. Jen is so passionate about her job. Definitely use her for your special day! She will make your wedding planning and wedding day perfect!-

Jen Strunk is the best!
Jen Strunk was a pleasure to work with. I feel so lucky to have found her as there aren't that many day-of coordinators in the area. Although our venue did have managers that claimed to do day-of coordination, we are so happy we decided to have Jen as someone to advocate for me and my husband's wishes for the day. We had great service from the banquet managers, but at the end of the day, they are so busy with managing the food, catering, etc. Thank GOD we had Jen because we had a major snafu with a delay of one of our performers. Jen took the initiative to call them to figure out the solution and keep us posted as well as make suggestions about how to alter our timeline. If Jen had not called, we would not have been informed and it would have been much more stressful than it was. She was very professional and worked well with all our other vendors. We cannot recommend her enough. -

Great Day of Coordinator!
Jenn was great to work with. She was available for questions from the day we booked with her to the day of the wedding. She handled set up at the venue, timeline of the day, and communicating with other vendors. I was not worried about anything day of with Jenn in charge! We would highly recommend. -

Jen - The Amazing Coordinator
I collaborated with Jen as a vendor for a local wedding. She is a calm, kind person and had everything under control during her coordination of the wedding. I was also in correspondence with our bride, who expressed her satisfaction in hiring Jen. Jen is an experienced professional and knowledgeable about navigation of your wedding experience. Top tier day of coordinator!
I'm not going to lie. My now husband initially scoffed at the idea of a day of coordinator, calling it a "waste of money", thinking we could handle everything ourselves. Well...fast forward to the day of our wedding, and one of the first things he said to me was "the second I walked in the venue and saw Jen pulling everything together, I knew we didn't have to worry about anything, and could just relax and enjoy our wedding day. It was probably the best thing we spent money on." I don't think I need to say more about how amazing Jen's day of services are then my completely stubborn and frugal husband eating his words :D.
Not only did she make our wedding day absolutely seamless (I mean we literally didn't have to deal with any logistics...), she was also a huuuuuge help during the planning process. I was a long distance bride, who didn't know the area well, and she was there every step of the way to answer all of my questions, from vendor recommendations, to measurements, to floorplans and beyond. Thank you again Jen! -

Truly an angel!!
Jen has literally saved the day for me on multiple occasions. We had to postpone due to pandemic and Jen helped me every step of the way! She’s absolutely AMAZING. She has the sweetest tone and reassurance that every bride needs to hear! Jen helped me with planning at the site, decor, worked with all my hired vendors and was there for me anytime I needed her. She clearly knows how to plan a wedding, a timeline and to squeeze in special moments for the bride and groom to have a minute to soak everything in. Jen was my wedding planner but now will be a forever friend. Do yourself a favor, and make sure this woman is available for your special day!! -

Helped us every step of the way!
Jen was amazing through all this planning. We were referred to her by a friend, and that was the best choice we could have made. She made sure to coordinate with all of our vendors, was quick with her responses, and totally understood last minute panics and weird requests my mother made. She supported us as we completely replanned our wedding about two months before the wedding date, was considerate in planning for a socially distancing wedding, and without her we would not have had a wedding at all. All I can say is ‘thank you!’ To Jen for all that she did. -

Don't skimp out on a DOC!
Jen was originally hired as my DOC for what would be my 200+ wedding this year but when COVID threw a wrench in those plans, Jen rolled right along with it. In addition to helping me get my original vendors rescheduled for next year, she offered to work with me to assist in planning my now microwedding, answering all questions along the way and making sure that all my other vendors were coordinated. Leading up to the wedding she was super accessible. She has an awesome planning portal that made it easy to keep all my wedding details in one place, including decor. On the day of she was so on top of everything and always checking in with us to make sure we were taken care of and staying in constant communication with our other vendors. She worked with the venue to execute our wedding vision beautifully, even as we had to go to our back up plan for an indoor wedding due to rain. Everything just flowed and we were able to enjoy the day without having to worry about any kind of logistics. Jen's services were so invaluable and we are lucky enough to keep her as our DOC for next year. If you are thinking of hiring a DOC look no further! -

Amazing experience with Jen as our day-of coordinator!
Hiring Jen was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Being an event planner myself, I wanted to work with vendors I trusted. Jen comes highly recommended by her peers in the industry and works professionally with other businesses and vendors to make the day as perfect as possible. Having her on-site allowed us to relax and live in the moment of our special day, instead of having to worry about last minute set-up needs, timelines, etc. Jen went above and beyond to make our wedding as seamless as possible for everyone involved. Simply the best!
Jen is AMAZING!! Hiring her as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made. I wasn’t sure I needed a DOC, but she came so highly recommended we decided to book her, and I am so glad we did! She answered all of my questions and gave me advice as we went through the planning process. But having her in that last month leading up to the wedding was so incredibly helpful, and really took a lot of stress and pressure off of me. I had a million questions in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and she was there every step of the way. She made sure all of our vendors were on the same page, which helped so much. On the day of, she did not let me worry about one single thing. She even did a make a makeshift bustle on my dress!! You can tell she is passionate about her job and clients. Our families, wedding party, and other vendors have all said how wonderful she was. She ensured we had the best day! I can not recommend her enough! She was the best decision we made, and she’ll be the best decision for your special day too. Thank you so much Jen!!! -

Best wedding decision I made, I loved her!
I can’t rave about Jen enough! I would have never survived without her. She helped me every step of the way and was always very responsive to all of my questions. On my wedding day she set up the venue perfectly and kept everything flowing and organized. She completely made it possible for me to enjoy my wedding stress free. Having a day of coordinator was by far the best money I spent. On top of being very good at her job she is such a lovely person. I would recommend her 100%. -

We don’t know what we would’ve done without Jen!
We almost chose to trust our venue coordinator who insisted we didn’t need a Day Of Coordinator, but I’m so happy I stumbled onto Jen’s website and read her “my venue has a coordinator, why do i need a DOC?” before doing so. One phone call with Jen and I knew we had to hire her. It was clear we’d have piece of mind knowing we had her support through the final steps of the planning process and her oversight of the events on the day of the wedding.
Jen was committed to doing everything she could to insure we had the perfect day we’d envisioned.... and she succeeded! Whatever hiccups may have come up throughout the day went unnoticed by my husband and I as we enjoyed our day to the absolute fullest extent. Jen took care with all the little details, including picking up our cake, setting up our memory table, making our sweetheart table & chairs look just right, and most importantly making sure we got a special platter of cocktail appetizers just for us!
Hiring her was the best decision we made! -

One of the first and best decisions we made!
From the beginning of our wedding-planning process, I knew I wanted to hire a coordinator to ensure the day went smoothly, especially because my now-husband and I live in New York and we were getting married in Connecticut. I researched several planners before I decided on Jen, and I am so happy that we got to work with her. We hired her for day-of coordination, but she always made herself available to us when we had questions along the way, and our other vendors even commented on how professional and organized she was. During the planning process, reassured us when we were stressed, and her relationships local vendors were invaluable. On the day of the wedding, she helped everything move along smoothly, and I have no doubt that she played no small part in making it one of the best days of our lives. -

She eliminates all the stress!
I'm so glad we hired Jen as our ceremony coordinator. She helped plan and set up the most amazingly beautiful wedding ceremony at a location where we had to do all the work for rentals, set-up, and break-down. I trusted her with all these tasks the day of and it completely eliminated any stress I had about making sure things were perfect- she made the space look beautiful and helped everything run without a hitch!
It wasn't until after the wedding that I found out there was a major problem with the chair rentals - something that would have likely ruined my spirits on such an important weekend. She fixed the problem very professionally without letting me know there were any bumps in the road.
You can't go wrong with hiring Jen! -

Prepared, professional & seamless service
As someone who has coordinated large events for my own work and had chosen a venue that required a lot of work (Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park), I was looking for someone who could take the stress of day-of-coordinating off of my shoulders so I could be fully present for my wedding day. Jen quickly rose to the top of the day-of-coordinators I talked with because of her calm, level-headed approach that understands both the emotional AND financial weight of the day. She took excellent notes during our planning conversations, has a robust organizational system to capture all of the components of the day accurately, and reached out the month before our wedding to fully dig into the details. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and I felt confident and comfortable with her guiding our day. We highly recommend Jen! -

Jen is incredible! She made sure our wedding day went perfectly from beginning to end. She knows all the questions to ask and made sure that everything was perfect for us. We are so thankful for her professionalism and felt so comfortable having her in our venue that day making sure everything ran smoothly. We used Jen as a Day-of-Coordinator and she was absoluety amazing! She didnt miss any details what so ever, she had it all put together exactly how I had envisioned, actually even better! She was so accomidating to our unique needs, and even made sure that my grandmother had a front row seat for our first dance, and offered to get my husand and I snacks and drinks while we were taking pictures (Thank god)! I cant emphasize enough how truly grateful we are to Jen for all of her hard work on the day of and weeks leading up to our wedding making it absolutely perfect. We used Jen as a day-of coordinator for our wedding and honestly she was a freaking rock star. She handled EVERYTHING in the month leading up to the wedding and so many stupid details the day of that I never would have been able to handle on my own. She responded to my emails and texts basically instantly, answered all the dumb questions I had, and was so so professional and hardworking the day of. We used her for an event at a mostly DIY venue and there is just no way we could have done it without her. -

We hired Jen for our August 2016 wedding at the Branford House, which ended up being one of the best planning decisions that we made! After our first conversation I felt at ease knowing that Jen would be able to help me keep track of all of the details of our wedding day which is so critical at the Branford House considering that you bring in all of your vendors so there are a lot of moving pieces. For our first meeting, she met us at the venue to do a thorough walk through which was really helpful in our planning process; she offered a bunch of suggestions based on her experience at the venue which were greatly appreciated. Closer to the wedding, she also reached out to and confirmed all of our vendors as a part of her normal day of package which was so appreciated (and I felt above & beyond what we hired her for!). The day of, Jen was absolutely our most critical vendor. She was there 4 hours before the ceremony to help with set up. She monitored all 7 of the vendors coming and going (which I'm sure was no easy task) and everything was set up exactly how we had envisioned it! Throughout the day, we had a few things come up and she was right there taking the lead on making sure everything was perfect. Everything went off seamlessly and I truly attribute it to Jen. Her personality is so calming, and friendly that she really made working with her such a joy and eliminated any stress for us the day of. Several of my other vendors commented to me how wonderful and professional she was which I couldn’t echo enough. We have talked many times since our wedding amongst ourselves about how Jen is the perfect balance of monitoring the vendors, checking in, while also staying discretely in the background. We could not thank Jen enough for being a part of our wedding day! We feel so lucky that we were able to work with her to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! -

Jen was a wonderful asset to our wedding! She did our invitations and they were gorgeous. She never minded when I asked for multiple revisions and was quick to reply to my emails. Always within 36 hours. The finished product was stunning and arrived right on time. We also used her for day of coordination and it was the best money spent. The peace of mind knowing she was there to take care of any problems that might arise was REALLY worth it for me. She literally took care of everything on our wedding day. Having all of my gifts and decorations boxed up and waiting for me at the end of the night was great. I highly recommend Jen!! -

Jen Strunk was my "jane of all trades" at my Branford House wedding earlier this month!
Day of Coordination: Jen was incredible - available for answers to the silliest questions I never realized I'd have when I started planning! She helped me create a comprehensive timeline for the day, made suggestions about the logistics of our "getting ready" timeline (we started out at a nearby hotel) - she has done so many BH weddings she was able to give me advice on uplighting, she had a map of the BH I was able to use when deciding on table layout, etc. We met and did two different walkthroughs, one early on and another one the week before to ensure we were on the same page! The day of she was phenomenal! She steamed my dress twice - made sure that I ate & always had champagne. She communicated with me throughout the night so that I knew things were under control, and was there until the last box got put into my dads car at the end of the night! Heidi was just as wonderful. Both ladies were calm and collected and made the night run seamlessly. I loved that my parents didn't have to worry about a thing - they were able to just enjoy the night!
Invitations: I reached out to Jen to get advice on proper wording for the invitation I had already picked out....we ended up talking at length about the design I was looking at, and Jen offered to do them for me instead. The quality was better, the design was better, and the cost was better! She sent me multiple drafts to ensure it was perfect. Jen printed addresses on all of the envelopes for me, which is worth it's weight in gold. We decided a directions card was necessary - and she was able to make me a custom map of campus that coordinated with the invites! She was also happy accommodate a last minute addition to the suite I threw at her!
Oh - and at her day job she helped me pick a custom made wedding band!!!
Thanks to Jen & Heidi I was able to enjoy my wedding - it was the perfect day! -

I used Jen for save the dates and invitations and was very pleased. She was nice and her prices were way better than any other designer I looked into. I have no idea what that nasty review below is all about but I suppose every business has "that one" customer lol. Jen was always professional and quick to reply to emails. I got so many compliments on my invitations. Def recommend her. -

Jen is so great to work with. Leading up to the wedding she was so responsive and on the actual day of she was a saint. I didn't have to worry about a thing all day long. From bringing coffees first thing in the morning, to steaming bridesmaids dresses, to an emergency bridesmaid dress fix right before walking down the aisle - she made it all come together. I was hesitant to hire a DOC but I am SO GLAD that I did. Jen also did my shower and wedding invitations, along with menus and programs - they all came out so great. I highly recommend Jen for her DOC and stationery services! -

Jen put together my invites, RSVP, reception, place cards and table numbers. I was beyond pleased with the amazing quality and craftsmanship of Jens work. We received so many compliments on how elegant and beautiful all our stationary was. Best part is that Jen is extremely affordable and and so easy to work with. She consulted me every step of the way and was prompt with all her work. 110% recommend Jen!!! -

Jen is off the charts AMAZING! We used her for stationery as well as day of coordination. We will start with stationery.
Stationery is a love of mine however I recognized early on in wedding planning that most guests don't appreciate it. Jen was able to come up with a stunning affordable invitation suite that still knocked people's socks off without breaking the bank. We provided Jen will a few ideas of what we liked and then she ran with it and created a beautiful invitation suite for us. She then continued on to make table numbers, menu cards, placecard tags, and various other paper items to match the invitation suite. Jen takes critique well and recognizes the importance of pleasing the customer. The product look is extremely professional and well done.
DOC was something that I really wanted but my husband was hesitant about. Easily the best decision we made during the entire process was hiring Jen! I was surprisingly, freakishly calm on the wedding day because I knew that Jen was out there taking care of anything. Leading up to the wedding no vendors called me with questions/concerns, Jen handled all of that. We hired Jen about 10 months out from the wedding and she was available via email/phone from that day forward, she helped me with timeline, vendor suggestions and generally just listened to my crazy bride brain ideas.
I can't express how grateful we are for Jen's hard work and guidance throughout wedding planning and the day of, she is extremely professional and calm. Very capable handes, plus she can create some amazing stationery!

I would highly recommend Jen for any stationary needs. She is very talented, great to work with and has very competitive pricing. I was so pleased with ALL the work she did for my wedding (save the dates, invitations, seating chart, table name cards & menus) and received a lot of compliments from our guests. You'll be in great hands with Jen and shouldn't hesitate to contact her. -

Jen is amazingly friendly and makes you feel so comfortable with the entire process. She is willing to make any changes you want, or to help you make the best decision you can. She is knowledgeable, professional, and definitely works in a timely fashion. I loved that she asked for my feedback throughout the entire process (save the dates and invitations). I ended up with a product I loved and got so many compliments! -

I have never been mire pleased with anything. Our wedding planning did not go as planned at all and making invitation plans made us feel better about everything.When my husband and I were choosing what we wanted for invitations, we wanted something simple and Jen took our ideas and made them her own and they came out more beautiful than either of us could picture. She was not only the girl whi made invites, but a wonderful person and willing to do anything to make you feel like you are top priority. I will be using the services again and again. -

More than impressed!
Like most girls, as soon as I got engaged I joined weddingwire.com. I began planning the week after we were engaged, which worked out since we ended up getting married just 3 months after the proposal! I knew before we did anything else we needed to order invitations. I was looking all over the internet and pulling my hair out trying to decide which company to go with. Someone on weddingwire recommended Jennifer's work, so I emailed her frantically wondering if she would be able to do them in time. Not only did she do them in time, but they were amazing! I told her what I liked and didn't like along the way and she made every change necessary to make my invitations personal and exactly what I wanted. I could not have been happier with her work! I'm pretty sure that we emailed daily, not sometime not even about the invitations, sometimes just about wedding things in general. Once I had given her a general idea of what I wanted, she emailed me a digital proof. Once we made minor changes and finalized what I liked, she mailed me a physical copy of exactly how my invitations would be sent out. I even had her print our return address on the envelopes and our monogram on the back flap of the envelope! I can't stress enough how wonderful, not just her work, but also just how wonderful she was to have through the planning process. I'm in the beginning stages of starting a wedding planner/coordinator company and I will strongly urge my brides to use her services! -

Saved me SO much anxiety!
Jen was the second vendor we booked after we selected our venue. My husband and I knew my anxiety would be on a “no holds barred” kind of roll and we wanted to make sure I felt secure in things getting done the way we wanted and Jen was the person for the job. I appreciated how quickly she answered emails and texts and even responded to posts I made in the wedding FB group asking for suggestions. I felt supported through the whole planning process even though we only booked her for day-of coordination (and not partial planning). Having her on our vendor team allowed me to not feel nearly as anxious on my wedding day as I had anticipated and I will forever be grateful for that! -

Jen was great in the beginning and pretty cheap. I was impressed that she listen to what I wanted and was pretty good at replicating what I asked for. Near the end though she became a bit difficult to contact. I'm sure she probably got annoyed w me near the end bc I was asking for stuff at the last minute. Eventhough she delivered at the end sometimes I felt like I was becoming a bother with her. She always remained professional though just became a little more difficult to get a hold of. -

I used Jen for my engagement party invites, save the date magnets, wedding invites, and seating cards. I was referred to Jen by one of my close friends who happened to be using Jen as her DOC for her wedding. I have to say the quality of Jen's work is awesome. In the beginning, Jen was very responsive. She met me and one of my friends at a Starbucks to go through some samples with us and was very professional. Her pricing is very reasonable as well. Unfortunately, Jen did seem a bit overwhelmed with the volume of work and therefore it was sometimes difficult to get ahold of her. I travel a lot for work and was having overseas guests at my wedding and therefore I wanted to sent many things out in advance and the timing had to be coordinated with my travel schedule. For one of my orders I specifically recall asking Jen to get me everything by a specific date because after that I would be away on business travel and would not be around. Needless to say, they did not arrive in time. Jen did have them shipped to my hotel however by this point, I was quite frustrated and had very little time to write out the addresses and mail them. I also received my invitations past when I asked for them by which was again frustrating because my overseas guests received them later than intended. My guess is that because of Jen's quality of work and her desire to grow her business, she likely does not say no to people very often and therefore ends up taking on more work than she can handle. My advice - only take on orders you can complete timely or hire an assistant! Unfortunately, dealing with Jen was probably the most stressful part of planning my wedding and therefore I would not recommend her to those brides that like to keep to a schedule. -

I must say I would recommend you stay away from Jen Strunk. Her quality of my invitation was good but other then that it's been nothing but a disaster. I ordered my save the dates, invites and thank you cards from Jen. My thank you cards have turned into the hardest thing out of my whole wedding who would have thought. Long story short I ordered 70 cards rushed and received 20 and after numerous emails trying to get on touch with Jen she ordered 50 more then I only got 36. Jen informed me she uses an outside company for her save the dates and thank you cards so after being more then frustrated I contacted this company Overnight Prints myself. I talked to a helpful representative who sent out 20 more in three days. I also asked for a refund from Overnight Prints and they informed me they gave Jen store credit for the price of the 50 cards. I asked Jen for my refund before informing her I knew she was refunding and she sent me a ridiculous email stating I wouldn't receive a refund because Overnight Prints refused a refund since I received the cards even though they were weeks late after I paid a rush fee. Jen also informed me she was ending our relationship effective immediately. What kind of customer service is that? I called overnight prints to double check she received the store credit and it was confirmed so I tried emailing and asking Jen informing her I knew she got the refund. She has not responded and it's been two weeks. My advice is go directly through overnight prints, they are nice and Jen just jacks the price up making it double the cost. And find someone else to do your invites unless you want to be treated poorly and lied to. -
