We were so happy we chose Jeff for our wedding DJ. This was a very important vendor for us and Jeff exceeded our expectations and listened to all of our requests! He knows his music genres, timing, how to MC, and his professionalism was excellent. We still get compliments about the wedding music!

Jamming the Best Tunes!

I can't say enough how well Jeff Staples and his Dj did for our wedding! Their communication was always timely and on point. No guessing, no worries about them showing up. They did the ceremony music, the microphone for the officiant and couple to use, and the reception music. They kept our guests up and dancing all evening. Very friendly/personable, easy to work with, flexible, and extremely helpful with time lines, suggestions, and support. 10/10 would hire again. Very affordable as well.

Awesome DJ

Jeff was the DJ for our wedding in Clearwater Beach on 12/11/2022. Not only was he the most affordable, but when speaking with him, he was able to accommodate all of my requests. I was a little picky about timing of songs, etc. and never once did he make me feel like that. He was beyond a pleasure to work with, and had our dance floor packed all night long. Highly recommend!

Amazing dj!

Jeff was amazing! He played the perfect music for the crowd, kept everyone dancing all night long but also took specific song requests. He was very responsive before the wedding. Would definitely recommend him to anyone

Wonderful experience

We had minimal contact and he was wonderful and responded to emails quickly. My only complaint is that even after I told him how to pronounce our last name he still got it wrong. But other than that he was GREAT!!!!

Absolutely recommend!!

Tim was wonderful! He was so professional and always quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. During our reception, he helped keep us on a natural feeling timeline of events (first dance, when to cut the cake, timing of the Anniversary dance, etc.). He played a really fun variety of genres from different decades that kept the dance floor full all night (something I was not expecting with my family!). Also, he was very understanding and respectful of our long lists of “play” and “do not play” songs. I highly recommend hiring the Jeff Staples Group for your wedding or event!

Awesome dj!

We hired Jeff to DJ at my daughter's wedding reception and he was AWESOME!!
He met with us a week prior to the wedding to go over the music for the wedding and reception. His suggestions were so helpful and made the day so great!

Highly recommended!

Jeff was awesome to work with for our wedding and our reception was so much fun. We had built a playlist of songs that we liked on Spotify which we sent to him before the wedding and he incorporated most of them during the reception. We were married on the beach and we were worried that the instrumental songs I chose would not be heard well, but I was mistaken. It was so windy, yet the sound quality was awesome!! He is very easy to work with and is very responsive. We had to reschedule our wedding three times due to COVID 19 and he responded to me day of every time I needed to do a date change. He is very professional and has very reasonable pricing.

Amazing evening of dancing!!!

Tim was amazing from start to finish. I had rewrote a song for my first dance and had it recorded and was so anxious that it would be played at the right time and Tim sure delivered! It was perfect! He checked in with us all night regarding the timing of things and what he believes works best. The night went perfectly, no issues and he played the BEST music!!! Would recommend this group for any DJ needs!!!

The DJ you want

Tim was our DJ at our destination wedding 6/2/19 on the beach. Tim reaches out to me months prior to the event and put my mind at ease. Tim is very accommodating and played the perfect music for our day. Tim went out of his way to make sure I was happy with everything. Tim is highly recommended!

Amazing Job!!

Jeff was the absolute best! At my wedding, he played everything we asked for and made our wedding day perfect! Jeff went above and beyond my expectations and communicated with me throughout the whole plannnh experience and wedding night. I even asked if he could add in a mother daughter dance at the last minute and of course, he made it seamless. My mom and I bawled the whole dance! Music truly makes the memory and I still hear songs on the radio and think, “That song was at our wedding!!” Each time my husband would spin me during our first dance, I’d see Jeff standing at his DJ table smiling at us, which was one of my favorite memories! Jeff and his is WELL worth the money he asks for his services. He truly was a blessing on my wedding day! Thank you, Jeff! Future brides are lucky to have you!

They know how to start the party and keep it going. We had so much fun and Tim knows how to read the room to change up the pace! I absolutely love him, he was fun and out going from the first time we spoke on the phone to our wedding, everybody was extremely impressed with him and my now husband and I couldn’t be happier

We heard about Jeff Staples from our venue. My biggest fear for this whole wedding was that the DJ wasn’t going to be good or we wouldn’t have our guests dancing. I was also skeptical because he seemed so much more affordable than other DJs we were checking into. Let me tell you, as soon as I met Jeff my fears were eased! Jeff was very fast at responding to my emails. He was so great at making sure we had the songs we wanted, while also playing the crowd for the next song. Everyone was on the dance floor all night! He set up the lighting perfectly too!

Jeff Staples DJ was on my vendor recommendation list,so I knew I had to go with him if he is the best of the best. He was very quick to respond to all of my emails, he gave me a wedding information sheet to fill out my wedding party and all the parents names as well as songs I wanted to use for the ceremony, recessional and first dances. I emailed him a long list of DJ songs that I had picked out to play at the reception and he did not disappoint with the songs he chose to play! His team was very efficient with introducing the wedding/bridal party and me and my husband and then transitioning to cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss. The only negative comment I have is that he told us he was going to have to cut the mother/son dance song in half to make up for lost time. Overall, I really liked him 10/10 and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ. He quoted me a really good price too! He is very accommodating with working with our budget and still giving you exceptional service!

WOW!! DJ Jeff Staples definitely lived up to his 5 star ratings!! I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a venue!! He listened to my requests and applied it to his mixture! Tim from Jeff Staples group was an amazing DJ for our wedding! We had to make multiple changes in the time leading up to and during the reception and Tim just rolled with the punches! What can I say about Jeff Staples? My wedding was about a month ago at the Grand Plaza Beach Resort, and Mr. Staples is on their vendor list. My wedding coordinator told me he is absolutely the best and books up fast- so i called him immediately!! He books up fast for good reason: he IS the best!! The age range at my wedding was anywhere from 25-70, and he played music for all ages!! My dance floor was packed- there were guests that don't usually dance at weddings, but sure danced at our wedding! He meets with you and your groom in person and goes over everything with you, from songs to be played (or not to play!) to uplighting. Also, we needed to pick songs for the ceremony...which my husband and I were totally lost on- and he helped us pick out the ceremony music. His prices are very reasonable and he responds to emails/phone calls in a timely manner. Cant say enough about Jeff Staples except: If you are reading this, look no further and book him!! You will not be disappointed.

Jeff was fantastic! I am not a music person and didn't know what to tell Jeff to play so I left it up to him and he did a great job. It was a mix of slow and fast to keep people on the dance floor and let couples have special moments. Thank you, Jeff, for answering my questions beforehand - even questions I didn't know I had!

Can't say enough about Jeff and his group! The hardest thing for us was planning a beach wedding from Kentucky and Jeff helped us in the DJ category every step of the way. He was great to work with and an awesome DJ who kept my guest dancing all night! Highly recommend.

We had TIM and he was incredible! He understood the crowd the timing and all the in betweens. He just made everything so easy. He asked questions that I didn't know to ask which made all the difference in setting the mood of the event! incredible in every single way!

Jeff was absolutely wonderful to work with and worked closely with our other vendors to make sure everything was smooth. He is responsive in his emails and has an intuition in the timing of when to play just the right song at the right time. All of our guests were on the dance-floor for the entire night. The lighting Jeff provided was perfect and he took the time to make sure the pronunciation of names was correct beforehand.

We worked with Jeff Staples for our wedding on 2/25/17 at the Grand Plaza and were sure glad we did!! He kept everyone dancing and really kept up the good vibes by reading the crowd!! When I (the Bride) requested a song he was sure to play it right away! He made no mistakes on the first songs (pure perfection)! Lighting was awesome and the sound was just right! I got A TON of compliments regarding the songs for the ceremony (prior to the wedding party coming out) and the dinner (lots of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin-per my request). I also made a playlist (requests) and he really included my requests! He also very very pleasant and professional to work with and a true gem! I would highly recommend Jeff Staples for anyone looking for a DJ! Thanks for everything!

Every song request was accommodated and more importantly, Jeff played the best combination of songs to keep the energy up. I have never seen so many people on a dance floor in my whole life. Many people told me afterwards that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. A large part of that definitely had to do with the DJ I selected. Everything went off without a hitch.

Jeff was simply amazing!! He made sure the ceremony, reception & night went smooth as possible. He is extremely organized and easy going. Having never been married, he made sure we knew exactly what was coming up and everything in line. The music was as per requested and his energy was contagious!!! Jeff is a true professional! Any request we had, he made it happen. I loved how flexible he was and was able to just roll with the punches, even seconds before they happened. That is the type of wedding DJ everyone needs (because lets face it, the unexpected does happen!). I can't recommend Jeff enough - he will keep your dance floor groovin' all night long!

My husband and I truly enjoyed working with Jeff for our wedding! He communicated with us promptly in regards to all of the questions we asked throughout the planning process, and on our wedding day, we couldn't ask for more! All of our music selections were played, and the professionalism he delivered was outstanding throughout the reception. Our guests were entertained all night long, and he was able to tell what types of music our guests enjoyed dancing to as well as incorporating what my husband and I liked as well which meant that everyone was always dancing! We were entertained the entire night, and we received compliments after the wedding about how they enjoyed the DJ and his personality throughout the evening. The uplighting he provided was also perfect and looked beautiful in our reception room when the sun went down. We received compliments on this as well! Our DJ was Tim Martin of the Jeff Staples Group. Tim did an amazing job before hand helping us plan out music for every stage of our wedding. The night we got married, Tim was able to read the crowd and keep the music going for the mood of the dance floor. Jeff was a vendor I didn't have to worry about. He was very responsive, had great ideas and suggestions, and services were reasonably priced. I felt at ease working with him. We had Tim from the Jeff Staples group. Our party was dancing the whole evening. He was so flexible with all our requests, considering we made some minor changes during the reception. He was upbeat despite a cold and our group had the best time. From 5 to 10pm people were on the dance floor having a great time. Jeff did an AWESOME job as DJ for our wedding! He was willing to meet with us multiple times and answer all of our questions, which really put us at ease. Jeff was early to the occasion and set up music and microphones in 3 locations at our venue. He also provided some "uplighting" around the sides of the ballroom which matched our wedding colors perfectly. We had a couple of extra twists in our reception schedule that Jeff handled as if he had planned them himself. He was able to find all of our music selections for our ceremony and reception, and his "feel" for the room ensured that people were always on the dance floor and enjoying themselves. We wanted a great party for our reception and Jeff certainly delivered. Jeff has been in this business for 20 years and assured us each step of the way that he had the music handled and for us not to be concerned. With so many T's to cross and i's to dot in planning a wedding, I assure you that it will be a huge relief knowing the DJ services will be taken care of!! I would HIGHLY recommend the Jeff Staples Group for your big day!!

Jeff Staples Group did an amazing job at our wedding! He had a great DJ voice and took care to pronounce everyone's name correctly. We gave him a CD of specific music we wanted played during the ceremony and some also for the reception. Everything ran so smoothly. He even used some suggestions we gave him and picked other songs he though we'd like and he was spot on! All of our guests loved him. Highly recommended!

Jeff was such a great personality for our reception. He knew just what to do & when to do it. & he helped us when it was time for things like the cake cutting. Best DJ Ever! Seriously. I can honestly say that our wedding was absolutely AMAZING thanks to Jeff. People that have had hip and knee replacements were on the dance floor, and Jeff was able to keep the momentum the entire night! That's actually an understatement. Our wedding was an absolute blast, and I am still receiving phone calls talking about how fun our wedding was!

Not only is Jeff a great DJ, but he is also an amazing person and a real pleasure to do business with. He's professional, kind, punctual, and charismatic! What was really awesome about Jeff, he knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor and kept the party going all night long (which is saying A LOT for our families)--and I didn't have to supply a sheet of music that only my husband and I like (he played something for everyone and had a really great mix). Two bonuses: NO STRESS VENDOR and Really knows a crowd. If I could add some stars after that 5.0 rating, I would.

This guy is top-of-the-line. If I ever have a huge party in the Tampa-St. Pete area, I'm calling Jeff Staples. Several hours before my wedding ceremony, he called me to let me know that he was almost done setting up, which was a HUGE relief. He played all the right songs at the right time, pronounced everyone's name correctly, and even helped me play my wedding video montage, even though he wasn't skilled with a projector. Even though I didn't get to meet him in person until the day of the ceremony, he felt like one of the family.

So happy we had the Jeff Staples Group as our wedding DJ. I was the bride and was on the dance floor the entire night. I don't think there was one minute where the dance floor wasn't packed!I was able to send Jeff several songs to give him an idea of what type of music we like and he came up with a great playlist for our wedding! Jeff Staples is an amazing D.J. and Master of Ceremony! My husband and I are so happy we chose him for our ceremony and reception music. He really knows the crowd well and plays the perfect music all night long. They literally had to kick us out of the ballroom we'd been dancing so long! He was absolutely wonderful to work with. I gave him a "Must-Play" list and a "Do Not Play" list the day before, and he was able to take ANY song request our guests were able to come up with during the reception as well. But even when there were no requests, he was able to pick the perfect music for every minute of the entire reception. I even gave him links to specific versions of songs that I found on YouTube and he was able to play them perfectly. And his timing was perfect for everything from announcing the wedding party to first dances to cutting the cake to the bouquet/garter tosses! He was very professional and easy to work with, and so much fun too. You will be ecstatic when you hire him as your D.J. :)

Jeff was one of the best decisions my husband and I made on vendors. He was on our preferred vendor list given to us by the Grand Plaza Hotel. He was easy to get in touch with, allowed all our conversations to be over the phone or through email since I am from out of state, and was way cheaper than all other DJs. He was professional and played all of the music we had picked. Overall, he did a phenomenal job and I would recommend him to any bride looking for a DJ to play on the beach or inside a venue.

DJ Jeff Staples was recommended to me by a childhood friend who had him DJ his own wedding the year before my own, and i'm so glad he DJed my wedding this past weekend. Everything with Jeff was very simple, which is really important because it eliminates any stress from planning. If you tell Jeff what you want, he will make sure it happens.

We gave him a layout of the timeline, flow, and feel of our event, and Jeff carried everything out with no mistakes- he didn't miss a beat, a name, or an opportunity. With that being said, because of his experience in the industry, he really was able to feel out the crowd and intuitively play the music that would be the most fun and appropriate for our guests. I chose Jeff at the recommendation of my cousin from her wedding, so I already knew that it was going to be a great time since half of the people that were at her wedding would also be at my wedding. I made the right choice! It was so very easy to work with Jeff. Pretty much all through email and maybe 1 or 2 phone calls. I work an ever changing schedule so that was the best option for me. He did the ceremony music as well as the reception music. He kept the party going like I wanted. I ended up contracting a stomach bug right after dinner and missed half of my reception but no one else did. They raved about the fun they had even with out the bride! Amazing experience working with Jeff! Gave me ideas about the processional and recessional, I did not want the traditional Here comes the Bride, I walked down the aisle to string quartet version of "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys and walked out to the Throne Room score from Star Wars and walked into the Reception to The Game of Thrones Theme. Jeff Staples was one of the DJs recommended to me by the Grand Plaza. Best decision EVER. All our correspondence was done over email/phone and I didn't actually meet him until the reception was about to start. He was fantastic!!!! My guests loved him! He made everything go with such ease! He's so laid back you can't help but feel laid back when talking to him! He only added to the laid back atmosphere I was going for!

My father daughter dance was a bit different- we started off with Daddy's little girl and then broke out the air guitars with a little Freebird action, followed up by the ending of Daddy's little girl.. Jeff was absolutely on point with exactly what my dad and I were going for!

Jeff was the exact type of DJ that we were looking for. Our wedding was at the grand plaza in st. Pete beach and Jeff was one of the preferred vendors and I see why. He kept all of the guests happy throughout. Our crowd was younger (late 20's to mid 30s) and everyone thought the music was so fun and no one could stay in their seats. He also provided us with up lighting which made the Imperial ballroom look really great once the sun went down. We provide him with a list of songs we wanted to hear at specific times of the reception and he fulfilled all of our requests. I would certainly recommend him.

If you've ever been to a wedding with a terrible DJ, you know how detrimental it can be to the reception. So, planning our Florida wedding from Ohio, this was a big concern for us.

Thankfully for us Jeff was totally understanding and really listened to what we were looking for. Rather than give him a set list, we gave him a handful of songs that we didn't want played and let him know what artists we really enjoyed and left the rest up to him. Best choice we made!! Jeff totally read the crowd and really kept the party going.

He also handled our ceremony music, bridal party announcements, and mics for speeches. The number of tasks that Jeff handled (and handled well!!) was seriously impressive. We never realized just how much the DJ keeps the evening going and Jeff was AWESOME at it!! He is incredibly cool and all of our guests just loved him and his work.

We cannot recommend his services highly enough!! Had an incredible time dancing the night away with all of our friends and family thanks to Jeff!

We were married on New Year's Eve 2012 and Jeff rang in the New Year with all the bells and whistles. He is a great judge of a crowd and knows how to keep everyone happy. We had toddlers to seniors rocking on the dance floor. He did a great job with my requests as well and made the entire evening a good time for all.

Jeff is the best. He had a smile on his face the entire day/night of our wedding and reception, and kept people on the dance floor pretty consistently. The music selection he played while we ate was perfect. Jeff is friendly and personable and knows how to keep things sophisticated yet fun.

Jeff was absolutely amazing! From the beginning he was really easy to work with. We didn't really want to make a list for our DJ and we didn't have to! He read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was packed from after dinner to the last minute of the reception. We did not hire an actual wedding planner so Jeff was a great help with how things should flow and just told us when to do the cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss etc. I picked out some random piano versions of songs from you tube for the ceremony so I was a little nervous to see if he could find them, he did! The ceremony music was exactly what I wanted and the reception was so much fun! So happy we decided to go with Jeff :)

Jeff was the best DJ I could have asked for! He was very professional and made sure to play all of our many song requests. Our dance floor was completely full the whole night and he did a great job with the timing and flow of the reception. He also did our uplighting, which turned out amazing!! I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

Jeff was a big plus to our wedding. His choice of music was perfect (we just gave him a few songs we wented him to play). He mc the wedding that was on the beach which is no easy task. Had people out on the dance floor daning the night away. So glad we founf him. Brides he's great.

I used Jeff for a 50th birthday celebration. I picked him over 4 other DJ's because he was able to tell me why he was best for the job. And he lived up to his promise! He did a WONDERFUL job! Before the event he was professional and responsive. He made it easy for me and was willing to accept any and all play list requests. He was timely, had great equipment, and knew how to make the party fun. I would hire him again!

Jeff did such an amazing job at our wedding! He really made the night flow perfectly, and I couldn't have asked for a better playlist from him! We had a band as well, and they both worked so well together. I am so glad we decided to go with Jeff as our DJ. Everyone had a great time, and we received many compliments on the awesome music and vibe of the night. Jeff is very professional and super easy and fun to work with! Thank you so much Jeff for such a great time at our wedding!

From beginning to end, there was nothing but professionalism and attentiveness. VERY flexible and easy going-nice to work with- and minimal attention and direction needed! He fits every brides needs and more importantly listens to your requests and wishes, and then delivers 100%! He performs based upon your wishes, he can either run the show and take over the party- or let you design the whole thing and do what you want...everyone- I can't say enough about him!

We were absolutely thrilled with Jeff as our wedding DJ. He did our ceremony music, lighting, and reception music. He did an amazing job. Everyone was dancing all night. We gave him a few song suggestions, but mostly put our trust in him to keep the crowd dancing. He was so great--unobtrusive, but gently moving the reception events forward, playing awesome music. He was super classy and very fun. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great he was the next day.

THANK YOU TO JEFF FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING AMAZING! From the start, Jeff was super easy to work with. Dancing was a priority for my now-husband and I at our wedding. We love to dance and wanted a full dance floor the whole night, and Jeff delivered!
He did the officiant microphone for the ceremony, and he DJ'd the cocktail hour and the reception. All events occured outside at a beach, which calls for a bit more challenging set up. Jeff arrived early to ensure plenty of time. He ran extension cords almost 100 yards to make sure people could hear us during our vows (thanks!). Fast forward to the reception and Jeff did a great job addressing the crowd, following the schedule and playing the music! He played all the songs we requested and did not play the ones on the "do not play" list! All of this aside, he is a pleasure to be around, easy to talk to and our even our guests had nice things to say! I'd definitely recommend Jeff. THANK YOU AGAIN, JEFF!

Jeff did a fantastic job at my beach wedding in St. Pete's Beach FL. He provided steel drum music at the beach before the wedding march, which everyone loved. He was very professional and had the dance floor full for the majority of the evening. I would definitely recommend his services.

Brian from Jeff Staples Group was a great DJ and I recommend him for anyone's wedding. We had a beach wedding and reception on 11/11/11 and Brian was perfect. He played all the music I requested and knew just what to play to keep my guests dancing all night.

Not only was he a great DJ but he was so easy to work with and met me before the wedding two different times to put my mind at ease. I was glad to know who my DJ was ahead of time and being able to meet him in person before my wedding was priceless. He answered every question, provided recommendations and was very professional. I highly recommend him for any wedding or event.
