  Amazing photographer!!

  First things first, our wedding pictures (and engagement pictures!) came out amazingly! We've looked through them a few times now and we literally have *hundreds* of favorites because there are just so many perfect shots. On that alone, I'd recommend JayLee to anyone.
  
  Even better than just amazing pictures, is an amazing photographer to go with them! From our first inquiry email all the way through delivering the pictures, Josh was always quick and thorough with his replies. The whole process felt super organized, and he was always incredibly professional while also being easy going and fun!
  
  We are definitely not the most natural people in front of the camera, but Josh always had us at ease and managed to capture some great posed shots as well as fantastic candids. On our wedding day, he was never intrusive trying to steal us away from friends and family, but somehow still managed to be around in the perfect place to capture every single moment.
  
  We had a truly wonderful experience working with Josh and I would recommend JayLee to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

  JayLee Photography rocks! My husband and I were fortunate enough to stumble upon the work of JayLee Photography after perusing some photos for one of the venues we were considering, WithinSodo (which eventually was the venue we chose). After scoping out the work of JayLee, we knew that their work was along the lines of what we were looking for in a photographer as far as quality of work. Given that we were planning most of our wedding out of state, we were able to schedule a Skype sesh with Josh and Ali to discuss what we were looking for and ask any questions. Josh and Ali were friendly, genuine, and spunky from the get go; this made for a great working relationship with them and this translated in our engagement shoot and wedding shoot.
  
  JayLee was easy to communicate with and even had little handouts to answer the typical questions about how to prep for an engagement and wedding shoot. Josh and Ali always listened to our interests and gave us genuine feedback if any of our requests were unreasonable or needed a little tweaking.
  
  Josh and Ali made our engagement shoot very easy, fun, and relaxed. We were so amazed at how great our photos turned out, given that we were just being dorky and not serious for most of the time. I definitely recommend (and so does JayLee) having a pre-sesh with JayLee prior to your big day as it'll make it easier to know what to expect going into your wedding. Going into our wedding shoot, we knew more or less the "cues" and looks we'd be doing.
  
  Although we have yet to receive our wedding photos, we have no doubt that the final product will meet, if not exceed, our expectations and what we received for our engagement session. Definitely choose JayLee Photography to capture your special moments! Josh and Ali are fun, awesome, and skilled individuals! Thanks guys!

  This review covers both our engagement photos, which were with Josh and Ali, and our wedding photos, which were with Josh and Whitney -- all three were fantastic to work with.
  
  I should start by saying that we were planning a Seattle wedding from the east coast -- not an easy task. But Josh and Ali were super-flexible and able to chat with us on Skype, and they immediately won us over. We looked at five or six photographers, all of whom had beautiful portfolios, but the team at JayLee seemed to really "get it." In addition to being recently married themselves, Josh and Ali were funny, relaxed, enthusiastic, and accepting, all of which is in addition to the fact that they sure know how to take some killer pictures. Because both of us are nervous in front of cameras, we really wanted to work with photographers who could put us at ease, and they did just that, those sweethearts. Personality win!
  
  They were also adaptable and so nice, even when day-of-wedding rain forecasts meant we had to change our first look location and dancing got started late, so Josh and Whitney awesomely stayed an extra half hour to capture the mayhem. Our reception was in a pretty dark space (Palace Ballroom), and they still managed to make it look fantastic. And they had our photos ready in just two weeks! My mom cried when she saw them. Seriously.
  
  Other stuff: Everyone at JayLee was responsive and easy to get in touch with -- they were great resources even for non-photography questions (especially timelines and such, but we even asked them if they could recommend a DJ). They're also a terrific value: We bought a package that cost half what some of the other photographers we looked at were charging, but in no way do we feel like we sacrificed photo quality for cost. Given JayLee's awesome service and seeing the beautiful photos they took -- spontaneous, fresh, classy, full of all kinds of blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments -- I'm shocked at how inexpensive they were.

  Josh and Ali. I feel like I don’t even know where to start. My then-betrothed and I initially contacted them 18 months out from our wedding because we just KNEW they would be the perfect photographers to capture our day. I had perused their blog and loved everything I saw about their style: the casual but intimate pictures, classic and unique but not so arty that you can’t tell what you’re looking at. We met them for coffee and we just totally clicked.
  
  I always thought that I was going to be that super-controlling bridezilla with a shot list, bossing the photographers around and always having something to add or another picture to take. However, we felt so at ease and so relaxed all day, NOTHING like the craziness that people told us to anticipate with a wedding. I have no doubt that this is largely because of the amazing vendors that we worked with, who handled all the business which enabled us to just enjoy our day. Josh and Ali were a crucial part of all this, we truly just TRUSTED them to do their job and we didn't have to worry. And the pictures. LET ME TELL YOU about the pictures. They captured every moment and every emotion, moments that I will treasure forever and moments that I didn't even see. The pictures were literally perfect.
  
  In case you can’t tell, we love JayLee Photography. We loved their hearts for capturing genuine emotion on a wedding day, their creativity, and their willingness to hear our ideas and requests and then turn them into something far beyond what we even knew to ask for. You would be silly not to hire them to capture your wedding day (or your pregnancy or your baby or WHATEVER). And while you’re at it, delete your “Wedding Photos” board on your Pinterest. Throw away your “must-get” shot list. You won’t need those things. You just need Josh and Ali and JayLee photography, and you will have the sweetest record of every memory that you treasure from the craziest, happiest, love-filled, dance party that you call a wedding day.

  I can't say enough good things about working with JayLee Photography. Josh and Ali shot our April wedding, and the pictures are just lovely. They made sure to capture a mix of posed shots and informal moments from the ceremony and party, and they worked a long day to make sure that we had pictures of all the key moments. Plus, they are both relaxed, fun and lovely people to spend time with.
  
  As we started planning our event, I wasn't entirely sure we needed professional photography. I'm so glad that I changed my mind!! Time moves fast, and my memory of our wedding was a delightful blur after only a few days had passed. The photographs reminded us of the scope of the event, and all the lovely, quiet moments that we shared with our family and friends. It takes a really talented team to see those moments, and capture them so beautifully. Thank you Josh and Ali!!

  Josh and Ali are not only fantastic photographers...they are also fantastic people. You get an incredible and personal touch with every aspect of your special day being recorded. We hired JayLee for our wedding day, and it was easily the best money we spent. A flight to Dallas, scouting trips downtown to discover creative, picturesque backdrops for our wedding photos, and even offering to help the wedding party with water, snacks, and general needs to remain calm and sane on such a big day.
  
  Needless to say, the pictures we received were immaculate. People, laughs, and details we rushed over, forgot, or even neglected to notice were captured in some of the most amazing ways.   We highly recommend Josh and Ali as wedding photographers. We loved our engagement photos, guest book and wedding photos.
  
  They were on top of things with answers to our questions even while they were out of the country. We had few schedule changes for engagement shoot due to notorious Seattle weather, they were totally flexible and helped us reschedule. Josh and Ali know their stuff! If you need any advice about location, planning, timelines etc. they are ready with options.
  
  They are fun to hang out with; we enjoyed their company. We spent our engagement session laughing and being ourselves. They made us feel relaxed, comfortable and confident while at the photo-shoot. So when our wedding day came we felt awesome knowing these two would be there to capture all the emotions of the day. They were innovative in capturing all the moments we wanted without stepping on anybody's toes.
  
  They were supportive of the requests we made even when they were time consuming and last minute. We are very happy with our wedding pictures and we were surprised how fast we got to see the final quality product.

  Josh and Ali are great. Very laid back and easy to get along with. They are pros so the input they gave with wedding planning was really helpful. So far, the pictures we've seen have been lovely.

  From the moment we first started exchanging emails I knew that Jaylee Photography was right for us. They take amazing photographs (and a lot of people do), but their personality and love of weddings, each other, and photography comes through in their website and in both of them. They were quick to respond through email and were also reachable by phone (not everyone is these days!). They bring their expertise, talent, and creativity to what they do but also ALWAYS listened to us-our concerns, our ideas, and what we wanted. I cannot rate this vendor high enough and would recommend ANY engaged couple to check them out. Photography was one of our 2 most important things about our wedding (the other was the people we invited), so I spent countless hours researching wedding photographers and would choose them all over again. In fact they also do family and baby sittings so we may very well use them again in the future! Also, we were planning this wedding from Montana and they were very easy to work with even long distance. I love Jaylee Photography!!!
