    DJ Kurt Disney was amazing. He is a very talented and intuitive DJ. He kept the party going and we got a lot of compliments about the music at our wedding. We are so happy that we went with Goodley Entertainment for our wedding!

    Fitz from Goodley Entertainment group was our wedding DJ and he was absolutely amazing! Fitz was extremely organized and so easy to get in touch with which made the whole experience stress-free and exciting! Fitz put together a smooth timeline from all of his past wedding experience and kept everyone on track through all of the events of the night. After meeting with him the first time my husband and I were amazed at how much he knew about music and people. Fitz is truly a music professional. He knows exactly what to play to keep the crowd going for hours on end. Its clear that Fitz knows how to read the crowd. I got texts and calls for days after the wedding from family and friends raving about how great everything was and how much fun the dance floor was with his music! Definitely recommend!!

    We booked Jay Gordon as our DJ from many recommendations. We LOVED him!! Seriously the best. We met him about a month before our wedding and saw him DJ for a bit. We knew he was going to be perfect. We corresponded with him leading up to the event about all our song picks, names of everyone, etc. He was very timely in his responses and totally professional. The night of the wedding was great, the dance floor was always packed. Due to some rain, our cocktail hour was extended to a cocktail 2 hour but he played perfect music to keep people up beat and would announce updates about when dinner would be served. People were already dancing before dinner because the music was so great. Seriously we had an awesome experience and would have loved for him to DJ for us all night long. THANK YOU Jay Gordon!!!!!

    Really, what can I say about Jay Gordon from Jay Goodley, other than AMAZEBALLS? I give him 100% credit for our wedding reception being such a blast. There was not a moment when the dance floor was not full. Several people have told me this was the best music they have ever heard at a wedding (direct quote: "Best music playlist EVER")
    Picking a dj/emcee is hard - they set the tone for the whole reception. I wanted someone who could create a fantastic party, while not being cheesy or obnoxiously harassing my guests to dance. I also didn't want to hand my dj a cd with a playlist - I wanted someone who could read the crowd and pick songs that would keep us dancing. I also didn't want downtime between songs.
    Here is what Jay has going for him: 1) his personality. He is SUPER genuine, and just wants everyone to have fun, including the bride and groom, and he works hard to ensure that. That meant that in the planning stages, I was never for a minute stressed out about the music - he was responsive and organized and laid-back. And it meant throughout the evening he directed everything (dinner time, dance time, cake time) with an easy manner. He wasn't cheesy, but he wasn't absent. He made a couple comments other than the requisite announcements, but he didn't talk incessantly. Perfect.
    2) His technical expertise. He was able to mix the songs into each other, so there was never a pause between songs. He worked with me to put together a 10-minute hora mix that - holy cow - created the most amazing hora I have ever seen. He was also able to shorten our father-daughter song by a couple minutes.
    3) His instincts? Or maybe experience. All I know is he read the heck out of our crowd and gave us what we wanted. At one point he put a song on that didn't get a great response - he pulled it and replaced it within 10 seconds.
    I'm out of space so - go with Jay! He is awesome :)

    We booked Al Garcia through Jay Goodley Entertainment Inc to DJ and sound for our ceremony and reception at the Lido Beach Resort on 1-1-16. Al was prompt and professional. He was timely in his response during communication prior to the big day which was important being over 1,000 miles away. He mixed some songs together for our introductions as we asked and played songs requested. We had a great party enjoyed by all and it is thanks to the upbeat and positive mood set by Al. Thank you so much!!

    I LOVED using Jay Goodley Entertainment for my wedding. More importantly, I LOVED having DJ Jay Gordon from Jay Goodley Entertainment as my DJ. He was so very patient, kind, knowledgeable, and just awesome. You can really tell he loves what he does. He helped me so much with the music and planning up until the night before making changes. He was so professional and everyone could not stop talking about how awesome the music was. He knows what he is doing and is the best at it. He gives great advice and I could truly trust him with any decisions I was not sure of. I would book with them again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend all brides to request DJ Jay Gordon for their big day. You will not be sorry!!!!!

    Jay Goodley Entertainment provided top-notch music for my daughter's wedding. We wanted live music for her beach ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Jay suggested a classical guitarist named Andres Colin. He is an incredibly talented musician and I received many compliments on his music. For the reception we wanted a DJ who wasn't going to blast music so loud that we couldn't talk. We worked with a DJ named Jay Gordon, who was not only nice and easy to work with, but who did exactly as we asked--provided quiet music during the dinner service and then amped things up for dancing! Jay Goodley Entertainment has many types of musicians, bands, and DJs to choose from and you won't be disappointed if you choose this business for all of your entertainment needs.

    Jay Goodley Entertainment provided me with an amazing steel drum player named Kenny for our beach wedding ceremony! He was a huge hit with my guests and also with the beach onlookers! I really like that I had a huge song list to choose from! Now every time I hear steel drums, I smile because it reminds me of our wedding day! I worked with Fitz and he was awesome! I was planning a destination wedding from Ohio and he was always professional and always responded in a timely manner!

    We booked Al a little late in the game for our destination wedding in Florida. With all we had going on, we were not able to provide him with many details as far as music we would like to hear, but he did a great job with the little information we did give him! He played a mix that got our diverse crowd up and moving the whole time. He was also happy and quick to take requests. Thanks so much!

    We used Jay Goodley Entertainment for our Ceremony and reception. Jorge was our DJ. He was wonderful.
    We met with him a week before. His attention to every little detail was amazing. He is very knowledgeable in more than just the music and it showed throughout the entire process. He knew every song we wanted, which was amazing, some were old latin songs from Cuba!! He made suggestions we had never thought of, and we are truly thankful we got him. He was witty, funny, and fun. He loves what he does and it shows. He is bilingual which was perfect for us! If we are ever in need of a DJ again he would be the only one we would consider. Many thanks Jorge for making our day fun and fabulous! :)

    We used Jorge Rodriguez to DJ our wedding over the weekend. Let me tell you, we could not have done it without him. He was so organized and really on top of everything (way more than I was.) He made the show run so smoothly, and even when rain threatened our outdoor wedding, he knew exactly what to do. We can not thank him enough for making our wedding fantastic! As an added bonus he spoke Spanish, which was great for my Puerto Rican in-laws... And he really knew how to party!!

    We started with Andres Colin as our guitarist and he just blew out guest away. Our guest did not get enough of him. He is an extremely talented musician with a heavenly voice!!
    We had DJ AL Garcia for our reception and he was great. He had everybody dancing all night!! We didn't have to tell him what to play, he just knew.

    I highly recommend Vincent for a Steel Drum Band for weddings! He did a great job during beginning of ceremony and cocktail hour! Everyone loved him and thought it was such a great idea to have it at a wedding! He has a great song list!! Thanks again Vincent!!

    Fitz did an amazing job keeping the reception going & people on the dance floor! Pete Simms' talent added to the beauty of the ceremony & cocktail hour. Both were on point & helped me coordinate our wedding day with ease!

    Al Garcia was great! We had everyone on the dance floor up until the last song, and then they were begging for more!! Al helped us have an amazing party during our reception!

    Jay Goodley Entertainment was on the preferred vendor list for my venue. On my first phone call I spoke with Fitz Otis.... can I just say that was the best thing that could have ever happened for me!!! Fitz was and is amazing!! He was quick to get back to me. Easy to talk to. Helpful. And Accommodating. He just had it all together. My father did a few things to surprise me and Fitz was professional and very helpful with him. Even playing the slideshow as my father spoke. He did a welcoming party for my out of town guest. Fitz did an amazing job knowing when to play what. When we did a newly wed game he had music to play in the background. He went above and beyond. On the actual wedding day he play all the right music. I could not have been happier. Pretty much all of my guest came up to me at some point in the 2 days to tell me how wonderful Fitz was and they wished he was up in NJ (which is were most of us are from since this was a destination wedding for us). Which made him even more amazing to me. I did not feel stressed at any point about him. I knew he had it under control. He was easy and fast to communicate with over the phone and emails. Personally my (now) husband, family, and myself could not have been happier to have Fitz as are DJ. I would not have traded him for anything!!!!!! So when picking your DJ PICK JAY GOODLEY AND ASK FOR FITZ!!!!!! He will be there for you!

    Jay Goodley with Jay Goodley entertainment was awesome! He was so friendly and knowledgable with all music genres. He played the majority of my requests throughout the night. He also did a great job engaging the guests. He had great ideas for songs when it came to the garder toss and others. He exceeded all of our expectations. He was a pleasure to work with and kept the party alive. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and because it was such a good dance party, we paid him to stay longer. All of our guests were commenting on how good the DJ was!

    I hired my classical guitarist for my ceremony and my DJ for my reception through Jay Goodley Entertainment. Jay acts as a liason between the musicians and you. Jay coordinated with my musians to make sure they were available on my date, gave me their e-mail addresses, and sent me a sheet to fill in with the details of what type of music I wanted, song for walking down the isle (processional/recessional), the details of my ceremony/reception, our first dance song, timing, and any other special music we wanted (or didn't want) at the wedding/reception. We could even request a specific attire (I.e., formal, tie, informal, etc) for the musician. I e-mailed my info sheet to each of the musician/DJ so there was no confusion on what music we wanted played and what we expected.. They both showed up at their designated time, had all of the equipment and played all of the songs that I requested. Great reliable service. Thanks Jay!

    Jorge Rodriguez was amazing!!! We booked Jorge Rodriguez through Jay Goodley Entertainment. We met Jorge at a wedding show in the Sarasota and immediately liked his energy. We met with him a few days before the wedding and he was very organized and provided helpful insight regarding the order of first dance, speeches, cake cutting, father / daughter dance, etc. The day of the event – Jorge absolutely rocked the wedding! The dinner music was perfect. He really got the dance party started and kept everyone on their feet for the rest of the night.

    Jay how did you survive the heat of our wedding day in June and manage to keep such a great smile and the dancefloor hoppin'? Thank you so much for being our emcee and DJ. You were amaizing to work with and were on point with your suggestions and enuring everyone had a blast.     The Jay Goodley Entertainment company assigned us Jorge as the DJ for our wedding. He was very thorough and easy to talk with. He went out of his way to find the exact artist for every song we wanted. The time we spent preparing on the phone paid off during the event, he was smooth and professional!!

    we had Ken play the steel drums on the beach and Ethan as our DJ. Both wee absolutely amazing. Ethan did everything he could to make our day special and keep the dancing going!! He did everything he could to make our day personal and couldn't be more happy!! Thank you!!!

    So, we had DJ Imminent.

    First of all -- He almost played the WRONG SONG for me to walk down the aisle to. My officiant overheard him saying which song he was going to play, and he was like NOOO!

    Extremely unprofessional.

    Second of all, he did not know the names of our bridesmaids or groomsmen. We emailed this list to whichever Jay answers the emails before the wedding. It was very frustrating to have to write them down and teach him pronunciation of the names right before he announced us at the wedding. Extremely stressful.

    Good things: he kept to the list of songs that we gave him. We danced all night long, but that's the kind of friend group we have.

    I honestly do not think I would recommend him, unfortunately.

    My conversations with the Jays leading up to the wedding were good, though. And it looks like other people have had good experiences with this company, so that's great news. Maybe we got him on an off night.

    I don't know how this DJ has 5 star ratings. That is impossible! He was horrible! I joined wedding wire today just to write a review. Maybe because I am from NY but this was THE worst DJ I have ever heard. He was great in the beginning and super responsive and professional until the day of. I even spoke with him the day before the wedding and I was happy with him.

    The day of is a completely different story! We had our wedding outdoor and while I was taking pictures with the sunset in the background someone came up to me and said why isnt there any music. I look over and the DJ is taking pictures of the sunset! I did not pay him to take pictures of the sunset! He has absolutly no MC skills. He sat at his dj booth all night and didnt speak on the microphone at all. I wanted him to be more into it and get people motivated to dance.

    The worst part was for our first dance. Usually after 2 minutes, the dj asks other couples to join in. He had our song go on for 6 minutes without inviting anyone to the dance floor. Do you know how boring and tedious that is for the guests? I had to literally stop my first dance with my new husband and ask other couples to join us on the dance floor because the DJ couldnt be bothered sitting in his DJ booth.

    Please - if you want a fun wedding with lots of great music, please take my advice and do NOT use him. He came recommended to me and I am really and truly disappointed.

    His fee was not bad but I would have paid more to have a good and fun dj. My maid of honor went up to the dj at least three times to tell him to start playing some dance music and I went up to him once (while I should be enjoying the wedding) to tell him to play dance music.

    Another thing which ended up working out, I gave him a list of songs a few weeks prior to the wedding and then the night of, he came up to me while I am at the Sweetheart table to tell me he didnt have the song I wanted to dance with my mom. It was a really special song I chose for my mom so I had to chose a different one. I chose another nice song but still, he should have had it.

    Just my main concern with this DJ was his lack of MC skills and how any special dances, he played the whole song without asking other to join in. Its boring for guests to watch slow dances all night. I was bored and it was my wedding!

    So if you can, either specify with this DJ exactly what you want or in my opinion, choose someone else.
