  Jax Cafe: You Married The Best, Now Celebrate The Best

  Jax Café, it's owner Bill Kozlack, his General Manager Mike Bazewicz, and all their staff did a wonderful job. They were able to make many last minute changes and responded very quickly. The staff there are made us feel very welcome and many even signed our guestbook. At Jax you're more than just another customer.

  During dinner, my bride and I said "This is the BEST party ever - and it's OURS!". Jax went above and beyond in making this a dream wedding. That's how my wife describes it. Food was fantastic (as it always is at Jax); the servers were spot on; the bartenders friendly; the room itself was setup perfectly. We hired a 5 piece Jazz band with singer, and Jax got the dance floor setup with plenty of room for the band and guests dancing. The ceremony held on the patio was perfect. Every photo was framed in flowers and greenery. I can't express how much this evening meant to me. Every guest, every family member, and even the BAND, said what a great time they had. Jax Cafe - you're first class, always have been, always will be.

  This venue is amazing! We just had our wedding there on June 11th and had the most amazing time! The venue is perfect for approximately 150 guests! It's so charming with a classic feel. We didn't have to do a lot of decorating because the space already speaks for itself. The outdoor ceremony space is not the traditional space, but more of a garden party vibe that made it interesting and a great place to take photos. Once we were done with the ceremony, guests went upstairs for the reception. We had extra kids and arrive and the staff was willing to set them right up! The banquet team is very flexible and were willing to work with us on all accounts. Don't let me forget about the food! The food was just simply delicious and the desserts were even better!

  Our reception at Jax was outstanding! We lucked out having Jane as an event coordinator----she is very professional and made sure all of our needs were met. The food was served promptly and to die for! And right outside the restaurant on the first floor is a beautiful garden with statues and a pond----perfect for pictures!!!

  We had a small garden wedding on the patio for about 40. We had cocktails and appetizers passed until we began our service. I was not worried if it rained...the patio was covered for this amount of people or we would have had the service upstairs. After the ceremony we had dinner for about 150 upstairs. We started with a cocktail hour and appetizers following by dinner. The staff were incredible! They know how to serve 150 people. They are professionals. I had an open bar for part of the time. They worked closely with my budget and we had NO surprises. One of the big reasons I picked Jax was for their food. It was great! I found out later, I picked it for the service, ambiance and value as well! The patio was beautiful! A local magazine did a story on our wedding because of how beautiful the setting was!

  Jax cafe was absolutely fantastic! Jane is a professional and it shows! She has so much experience, nothing surprises her- she can handle anything! She is laid-back and easy going. She puts you at ease! I gave her all of the details and she executed everything perfectly. She was very responsive and I had no doubts that things would go smoothly leading up to the big day. She is a joy to work with!
  
  She let us come into the Cosmopolitan room a couple of days before to practice our dance on the floor. They also let us bring in the decorations the day before to store them. They set up all of the decorations for us. They made everything incredibly easy and low stress. When I asked Jane about when we needed to turn off the music and pack up, she basically said "whenever"!
  
  The ambiance at Jax Cafe is also great- you almost don't need to decorate! Very elegant. And in early spring they have hundreds of tulips out in the backyard/garden!! Perfect photo opportunity! Just beautiful.
  
  Jax Cafe is the definition of quality, responsive, professional, value, and flexibile. I have zero complaints. I highly recommend Jax Cafe!

  We had our Groom's dinner at Jax. They had just had a fire, but you wouldn't have known it. They have a beautiful facility, wonderful service, and wonderful food. I have visited Jax for other events and dinners prior and after ours and each visit has been wonderful.

  We have enjoyed Jax Café in the past, and it has always been a place for special occasions. Our wedding experience was fantastic. The food selections were superb - the filet mignon was perfectly prepared and the sea bass melted in your mouth! Both were showstoppers with our guests. In addition to the excellent food, the service was extraordinary. The wait staff was always one step ahead, including preparing and serving the cake, which was provided through another vendor. Overall, the experience contributed to a perfect day!

  We loved our reception at Jax - everything went so well and their staff was incredibly professional and helpful. Most importantly, the food was absolutely fantastic! Everybody loved it and still raves about it to me.

  Jax was a great reception venue. The food is awesome (not your typical wedding food) and the service was great. In addition, they provide a lot of support while you are planning your wedding and make themselves very available. They are very accomodating, professional and are fun to work with.

  We booked the larger banquet rooms upstairs and it was perfect. What do people really remember from a wedding reception? The food and the ambiance. Jax has both. Our wedding was over two years ago (slow on the reviews, I know) but I still have people coming up to me telling me how much they loved Jax and how they have been back since our wedding.

She was helpful in selecting food options. If you care about the food you will be serving to guests, then Jax is where you should be having your reception. Everything was fantastic!

  We chose this restaurant thanks to a recommendation for a co-worker. We're having a low-key reception after having an intimate (read: just me and my husband) ceremony in Kaua'i. It's a fun lunch where we'll eat, drink, be merry, and show the video from our ceremony with family and friends. Jane at Jax has been very fun to deal with. She has tested us a bit with her memory (or lack thereof) but absolutely nothing that has caused issue.
  
  I do have to stay on top of her a bit with emails, but I can imagine that she's a pretty busy lady.
  
  The restaurant itself REALLY should advertise their event services more. The food is amazing! The interior is SO charming and gorgeous! I woudl HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!
  
  Because we're having it as a lunch, there's NO fee for the room; we simply paid a deposit that will be applied towards the food charge. They also provide cool little customized matchbooks - FREE! They also rent some aspects of the centerpieces. It's been SO easy for us because we're pretty low-key and not looking to wow people with over the top design and decorations.

  I initially contacted Jax owner Bill Kozlak in late May, offering to pay him thousands of dollars to host a funeral luncheon in late July, for my mother. He agreed to do so, and I agreed to a food/beverage minimum to justify his expenses, along with a $500 down payment. I started to prepare funeral announcements that included his restaurant as the luncheon host.
  
  In subsequent contacts, with a tentative agreement already in place, we continued to negotiate peripheral details such as entree options and off-script requests, which I assured him would be minimal.
  
  Then, suddenly, Mr. Kozlak ghosted me and ceased all communication, despite my repeated emails and voice messages, on two different phone numbers. I even tried to reach his event collaborator Haley, and his head cook Rob -- without success.
  
  In hindsight, the owner privately decided he did not want to host this luncheon, but he refused to tell me as much. As a result, I wasted two weeks of valuable preparation time during an already difficult time, waiting in vain for finalization of details, and I was forced to scramble to make a late change that should have been unnecessary.
  
  Mr. Kozlak displayed a stunning failure of professional and human decency. I invite you to consider that before patronizing his restaurant.
