Jane is amazing! She was so professional, and kind and easy to work with. She and our videographer helped SO MUCH during our actual wedding day. As things went wrong, they helped navigate all the obstacles with us and made everything so much easier for everyone. I can't thank her enough! Would highly recommend Jane not just for weddings, but for any photo session. It poured on our wedding day, and our pictures turned out amazing. She had ideas for how to make the most out every obstacle that came up. Would absolutely recommend you book her for any photos that you're looing for. -

Jane was recommended by a friend and was exactly the right person for our small garden elopement! She met with us online, came up with a plan and schedule for us to follow, and was available that evening to do an additional couple's shoot. Take it from photographer, book Jane for your wedding!
I had the pleasure of working with Jane well before she was booked for our wedding and saw firsthand how hard working she was. After first meeting her, I went through her portfolio and took a mental note that whenever I got married, she would be the first person I booked. 5 years later and that is exactly what I did! She plans everything out well in advance and will walk through everything with you to put you immediately at ease. As a photographer myself, I'm always more comfortable behind the camera, but Jane made me feel so comfortable in front of it. She is responsive and will get you a sneak peak of your photos in record time, which was a wonderful surprise to us. She is an INCREDIBLE photographer and her eye for not only composition but capturing the important moments is worth every bit of money you pay her. Not to mention, we had guest come up to us during our wedding to tell us how wonderful Jane is! Don't look any further for your photographer, book Jane. -

We knew right away in our first initial call with Jane that she was the right person for our wedding photography. My husband and I stumbled upon Jane's website and blog by looking at online photos of weddings at Volunteer Park Conservatory and we were 1) so impressed at her artistry and perspective and 2) so thrilled that she had our date available! We did an engagement session at Discovery Park and our wedding at Volunteer Park with photos in the Arboretum as well. Jane made this SO much fun - she helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and she kept our wedding party organized and on task. Jane is so professional, personable, great sense of humor, and a lovely style. Her communication with us was prompt and efficient and we were so pleased with our photo gallery. We would gladly work with her again in a heartbeat. She also embraced our silly 1 year old dog joining us for both photo sessions. Thank you, Jane! -

Best photographer ever and so much more!
It's been 3 days and I still don't feel like I have the words to communicate how much I love these photos. Jane truly captured the moments and the emotions and each one takes me back to the moment it was taken. They are even better than I could have hoped or imagined, and I haven't even seen them all, I can't wait!
The other thing we need to express our gratitude for is Jane's hard work getting everyone where they needed to be when they needed to be. Our families, and friends are a little oblivious at times and have poor senses of timing, myself included lol if it weren't for Jane's organization and awareness we might still be outside the venue trying to get everyone out of the first look shot. Jane was one of the only reasons our wedding day went off without a hitch, she is the best! -

Jane was a dream to work with- from beginning to end. She's extremely responsive and there for you every step of the way- from your late night panic emails months before to the day of. The pictures are beyond perfect and everything I could of ever wanted! I really cannot recommend her enough! Your search is over, hire Jane now!!
Jane is fantastic in every way! Most people are not totally comfortable in front of a camera and that can often come across in photos. The great thing about Jane is that she will make the most uncomfortable/anxious/nervous person feel instantly comfortable and at ease (hello, wedding couples-to-be!). Her combination of silliness and friendliness just puts you at ease. Jane roots for you, she wants you to look great and feel great, she will encourage you and make you laugh throughout the whole day and you will absolutely leave with a lasting friendship and feeling fantastic.
My husband (still getting used to saying that!) and I had a very small wedding and Jane was our very own Fairy Godmother. When you are planning a wedding during a pandemic you are really planning for all possible scenarios that could change at any instant, and they do change... often! We became very comfortable with being on our toes and coming up with a new plan on the spot and Jane was right there with us every step of the way. Jane offered her support with the logistics of the day, this included timing for EVERYTHING. Why is this so important you may ask?....Having a clear timeline means that you know exactly what to expect and ensures you have enough time to get all the shots you were hoping for. It lowers your stress and makes sure the day flows smoothly.
Another thing that really sets Jane apart is her portfolio. Her experience is so expansive and diverse and that really shows when you get your photos back. There are so many to choose from with so much variety, you can see how hard she works to capture every moment!
We will cherish these photos forever, thank you Jane!!

Jane is so so much more than just a photographer, she went above and beyond for both my engagement and wedding photos and I'm so thankful I hired her!
For our engagement photos she made a three hour trek out to Long Beach, WA to photograph my dog, husband and I in one of our favorite places. Before we arrived Jane had already done a bunch of research on the surrounding area, which led us to some awesome beaches, a light house and so much more that my husband and I didn't even know existed! As people who don't exactly feel comfortable behind the camera, Jane made us laugh and feel at ease throughout the whole experience. She captured so many candid moments that turned out to be some of my favorite photos from the trip!
As for the wedding..She met with me multiple times leading up to the big day, offering her help with narrowing down vendors, tips for the day of, and helped us set up a time line as well. She specifically made a list of important people, names and photo moments that I wanted and made SURE they were done the day of. All of which were SO helpful and so above and beyond what I would have expected from a photographer. The wedding weekend, she came in a day early and toured the property during our rehearsal to help find photo locations for the day of. This led her to find an amazing airport/runway where we took countless pictures, and was again a location my husband and I didn't even know existed! She was so professional and easy to work with amidst the chaos of sixteen bridesmaids and groomsman as well as two larger families. She kept us all on schedule while still making us laugh and enjoy all of the little moments throughout the day. I could not be more grateful for having her be a part of our wedding day, we will cherish the photos we received from her forever! And I can guarantee that we will use her for baby announcements and family photos in the future. Couldn't recommend her enough! -

Fun, thorough, and experienced
Being someone who doesn't enjoy being photographed that much, I was very happy with how Jane made the process easy, relaxed, and even fun. She clearly knows exactly what she's doing, and she has a great sense of humor, even in the midst of a slightly tighter schedule than we anticipated. Would HIGHLY recommend! -

Couldn’t be happier with Jane’s photography, and both our wedding & engagement photos! When first planning our wedding, Jane was one of the first people we reached out to and coordinated dates with. She is that AMAZING. Jane put us right at ease on our big day—she remembered what was important to us, and was incredibly attentive to our previously requested shot lists, while never making us feel rushed, even when we were running behind schedule! For our engagement photos, Jane was even willing to trek it out to my husband’s family cabin for an especially memorable day. In addition to her being great to work with, Jane’s photography is incredible—we’re still in awe by how she is able to use (what felt like) terrible indoor lighting at times, and come away with gorgeous, perfectly lit photos. Jane’s work, and work style, is truly impressive & I couldn’t recommend her enough. -

Forever Recommend!
We knew that photos were the most important aspect to us, so we had something to look back on and to share with everyone. We also knew that having a friendly and personable photographer was important.
And most importantly to us - the photographer we chose could capture the natural moments.
Jane is the perfect wedding photographer! Not only do you get your engagement photos included in the package, but she listens to exactly what you want. Our engagement photos we wanted in nature, but our wedding was in SODO so we wanted industrial. We LOVE both!
If you're getting married in the PNW - Don't look any further! Jane G is the one! -

Jane is the BEST! We would hire her again in a second. She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with all of the photos. Plus, she made the whole experience really fun. Neither my husband nor I are naturals in front of a camera, and we were both pretty anxious about getting professional photos taken. We wanted to do an engagement shoot so we could get to know Jane and feel comfortable with her on our wedding day. Jane immediately put us at ease with her hilarious sense of humor, and turned the day into a fun, snowy adventure. For our wedding, we got married in the woods on Bainbridge on kind of an overcast day, and she totally captured the Northwest vibes we were hoping for. Do yourself a favor and hire Jane! -

Jane is Awesomesauce
Jane and her team are rockstars. My wife and I are a bit offbeat. Jane and her team rolled with it when we decided to do our engagement shoot on snowmobile through our off grid property and around the eastern cascade foothills. For our wedding they captured everything we wanted in truly glamorous fashion, all while being unobtrusive and non-invasive. They let us be us and simply captured the soul of our wedding and relationship. We can't say enough good things. Hiring a professional caliber photographer is expensive but, I assure you, JaneG Photography is worth every penny. -

She captured the mood perfectly and all the personalities shine through. She made the small details stunning and found beauty in all parts of the environment. Her laid back attitude was perfect for the stress of the wedding day and she was very professional with being timely and ensuring all shots were accounted for. The only thing I would have done differently is hired her for more hours. It was a fantastic experience working with her and her team.

And she delivered exactly what we wanted with passion, creativity, and lots of energy and fun. She took us to a wonderful spot close to the boathouse to capture some beach photos. Plus, Jane knew how to make the photoshoot so enjoyable for our closest friends and family. I highly recommend Jane. She did a great job making the wedding party feel comfortable during the shoot and also let them have fun in the photos. We didn't have a wedding planner to move the timeline along so she stepped in took over this responsibility. That was an added responsibility that she really ddint need to take on and did it with out us asking. Jane does a great job capturing the small moments and doesn't make you feel like you have a camera in your face the entire time. It was a great experience with Jane.

Sarah Sent on 10/30/2014Jane was recommended to me by a friend who used her for their family portraits. We met her and instantly liked her. She is very laid back and easy to work with. We purchased a package that included engagement photos and had a blast with her and her second photographer with that session. Once we got those photos back we instantly knew we were going to love our wedding photos.
On our wedding day she was super organized with all of the family photos and kept our group moving. When we were running low on time we were able to taken some quick, impromptu photos before heading to the ceremony. If you want specific photos taken she is more than happy to take a list. During the reception I didn't even notice her running around to take photos. Since we've gotten our photos back we've received nothing but compliments on how stunning they are. Just take a look at her blog and I guarantee you'll be hooked. As a bonus, she's a great photographer for the Seattle Sounders and the Seahawks! -

Gina Sent on 10/28/2014Jane is wonderful! Our family and friends loved and complimented on Jane's work and how professional she was at our wedding. I wouldn't have picked anyone else as my photographer because she takes the time to get to know you and she listens to what you want.
Jane photographed not only one engagement shoot for us but two. The reason why we had two was because during the first photo shoot it started pouring down rain and I had a vision of what I wanted for our invitations with nice sunny photos. Both photo shoots were over an hour and a half long and both times we went over the time it was scheduled to be. Most photographers would nickel and dime you for those extra minutes but Jane doesn't do that. Also, my camera shy fiance at the time was able to open up and feel comfortable and actually enjoyed our engagement shoot. Jane has that down to earth personality that makes you feel so comfortable when you are around her.
My husband and I were fortunate to have a destination wedding in Hawaii and instead of choosing a photographer that was in Hawaii we flew in Jane to photograph our special day. A day before the wedding she went to our venue to scope out the location because she wanted to be prepared for the big day. Jane was very prompt and on-time and was very patient with my family who wanted numerous photos with us. Our wedding photos are amazing and the natural backdrop of the beach was just breathtaking. I will have many wonderful memories to look back to when I want to reminisce that perfect day.
I would recommend Jane to everyone and anyone! You will not regret it!
