    I could not give any higher praise to Jacqueline as our wedding officiant last weekend on October 15, 2016. We loved how she personalized our vows and made an effort to get to know us before the ceremony. At the rehearsal, she made the process enjoyable & engaged well with our wedding party & family. As I am a very detail oriented person myself, I especially appreciated how she paid attention to all the small details like placement for photos, pausing to enjoy "the magic", etc. It was like she was our wedding planner! We strongly recommend using Jacqueline if you are considering an officiant :)

    Jacqueline was our wedding commissioner in August 2016. Jacqueline did a great job officiating our wedding, she brought a lot of life to the ceremony and was very calming when we met before the wedding. I would definitely recommend Jacqueline!

    Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and guided us to finding the perfect ceremony. We couldn't be happier that Jackie was part of our wedding and would highly recommend her.

    Jacqueline was friendly, open and obviously very experienced. She went above and beyond not just in the planning of our ceremony, but also for the rehearsal and gave us a number of tips on how to make the ceremony everything we wanted it to be, including how to manage the two little ones that were standing up with us as flower girls.

    Jacqueline was incredibly flexible and helped us make our ceremony exactly what we wanted it to be. She made suggestions but was never pushy and was more than happy to incorporate some quirky additions to the ceremony as well.

    I would (and have!) recommend Jacqueline. She was just great.

    We live in Australia and decided to get married in Tricia's home town of Calgary. The search was on to find a celebrant for the ceremony. We were recommended Jacqueline from one of her peers, and from the minute we met her we could not have been happier! We arrived 6 days prior to the big day and asked for an appointment to meet up at very short notice. Jacqueline was very understanding and very accommodating. She put us at ease and walked and talked us through the process. Her suggestions and advice were invaluable. On the day itself, she made everything so easy and stress free and helped to make our day unforgettable; her thoughts and actions added to the beauty of it all. We can't recommend her enough.

    Jacquline was such an incredible Officiant! She was so professional, helpful and organized. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful a day we will never forget. We received to many compliments on what an incredible job she did and how amazing the ceremony was.
    She personalized the ceremony to fit us perfectly! we couldn't have asked for a better officiant. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding.

    My husband and I thought Jacqueline Hoare was a wonderful marriage commissioner. Our wedding date was settled quite last minute, but she was able to get everything ready. We met her at my husband's sister's wedding and I thought the ceremony was done well. I would highly recommend her if I meet anyone needing her services.

    Jacquie took the time to get to know our story before the wedding so that she wasn't just reading lines from a book for the ceremony. There is a reason she gets booked so often, and she is in fact officiating my wedding planner's upcoming marriage. I would recommend to anyone!

    I would 100% recommend Jacqueline Hoare to anyone looking for a Marriage Commissioner! She was helpful, professional and calmed my nerves the day of the wedding. We loved how she took the time to ask about our specific love story and incorporated those details into her opening that day. Her sense of humor matched ours perfectly and she even took the time to arrive early and talk to all parties involved prior to the ceremony. She also went out of her way to meet us at our wedding venue to ensure we felt comfortable with running our own rehearsal ceremony because she was unable to attend. I was very impressed and even others who were at our wedding commented on how good she was. I especially loved how she allowed for all the "magical moments" (her term) during our ceremony.

    We are so happy with the way our ceremony turned out with Jacqueline as our commissioner. From the first time we met with her to discuss our vision for our day we knew she was the right fit. She took the time to get to know us, and our story of how we met and used it in our ceremony. She was also very patient as we had our children in the wedding party and incorporated a sand ceremony with them. She thinks of details to make you aware of that really no one would think of and what's best for photos and your guests. We didn't do a rehearsal but she gave us outlines and very detailed notes on how her ceremony goes thay we didn't find it necessary. We are very pleased with the service she provided and would truly recommend her to anyone looking for a personalized wedding ceremony!

    Jacqueline was recommended by a family member who had attended a wedding she officiated, and from the first moment we sat down with her, we knew she was the one we wanted to work with. Her priority was getting to know us, and to know what it was we wanted our wedding to be. Every step of the process felt easy, stress-free, and fun. And we received so many compliments from our guests about what a great ceremony we had.

    We would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

    My husband and I needed something quite specific. Although we were keeping our wedding relatively small and tastefully simple, our big day was planned and prepared to be classy, elegant and very exclusive. When we interviewed Jacqueline, we immediately had a connection with her. She was warm, professional and genuine. She spent a proper amount of time getting to know us, our story, our parents and cultural backgrounds, what we wanted for our big day, our personality as a couple, and our future goals. Jacqueline made us feel comfortable. We were able to open up to her, and give her the elusive glimpse into that unique spark between us that made us want to perform an official ceremony to seal our union for life.

    My husband didn't want anything resembling a religious tone due to his upbringing, and yet I longed for something deeply spiritual with gentle mentioning of something greater than us, guiding our ceremony. Plus, there was the added challenge of the in-laws not speaking english well. I wasn't sure how possible such a task would be but Jacqueline pulled it off - expertly, delicately, respecting both our wishes, and helping us with appropriate timing for translations. It was perfect - very classy, just like we wanted, especially me. I was also extremely impressed with the amazing ideas to add into the ceremony to make it our own. Even my mother, who has been to many a religious and non-religious ceremony, was impressed. My mother is a woman of good tastes, with sometimes hard to reach standards and even she made notice of the elegant ceremony, Jacqueline's warmth, style, and wise guiding presence.

    We are so happy we went with Jacqueline - she was absolutely the best choice for us and made our day so very special. We have been recommending her since the day we married.

    I hope you'll read this Jacquie, you were truly amazing!

    Jacquie is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. After talking with her for the first time and seeing her lovely bright smile, we knew she was the one we wanted to officiate our big day.     Jacqueline was a wonderful officiant, she made our day very special and we were so pleased that she was happy to include our furry family member in the wedding ceremony as our ring bearer as we had run into a few officiants that would not work with dogs. She made everyone (including the dog) feel at ease and met with us Before the ceremony to go over everything and make sure our day went perfect! Could not of asked for a better person to officiate our wedding!:)

    Jacqueline was an amazing officiant! She was very helpful with everything, and she answered all of our questions about anything that had to do with the wedding. Jacqueline made the ceremony very personal and was good at making the guests laugh.

    Jacquie married my nephew and his wife in June 2013. Her manner is warm and engaging and her sense of humour puts everyone at ease. She truly believes in the beauty and meaning of marriage and it shows in her work. She really gets to know each couple and personalizes the service, which makes it special for the couple and their guests. I would recommend her without hesitation.

    Jacquie officiated at my friend's wedding. She was very genuine, compassionate, warm, and professional. Jacquie is one of those people who are genuinely good hearted, and it shows through in her business as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacquie.

    Jacqueline married us Sept. 19, 2009. Our theme was a bit unique and after checking out a few officiants, we knew we found our match when we received her enthusiastic response. Not only did Jacqueline embrace our pirate theme, she helped us keep it tasteful and incorporated appropriate pirateisms into the ceremony. Her ceremony engaged our guests and helped them be excited about our wedding. They still talk about how amazing she was!

    Not only did Jacqueline fully embrace our theme and help us plan our perfect ceremony, she was so invested in us, she brought back perfect decor items from a holiday she took before our wedding and bought us the most amazing ship centerpiece she found while at a garage sale.

    We can't say enough great things about Jacqueline and recommend her to anyone we know who is getting married. She really is amazing!

    We were married in August 2008 and she was part of what made the day go so beautifully. We originally got her business card at a wedding fair and boy are we glad we did. She welcomed us to meet with her beforehand to ensure a good fit and we talked and laughed and she demonstrated such passion and caring and talked us through the emotion of it all and asked some hard questions, almost like a marriage prep! We sent her our vows which we wrote/pieced together and she so wonderfully replied that maybe we should search our hearts and make them less about looking and sounding a certain way on the outside and making sure they reflected our own story and our own hearts. She reminded us that we laughed a lot together and that this first draft contained not a lick of light heartedness. Because of her, that time reflected us. She also made sure we took a moment that say to just be alone for even 10 mins and soak in how it felt. This lady is a rock star.

    Jacqueline was an incredibly organized and professional officiant for our wedding on June 20, 2015! She did her job incredibly well but also made our ceremony very fun,engaging and completely tailored it to how we wanted our ceremony to feel. We even were lucky enough to have an unplanned background music of a Native American drum band( courtesy of Native American awareness week on the Stampede grounds!) through our whole ceremony and she rolled with it and to quote she made it "magic!".

    Jacqueline also made up a beautiful copy of our vows and our marriage certificate and made sure to give all our documents to someone responsible, so we didn't even have to worry about any of that for the day!

    I would recommend Jacqueline to anyone seeking a Marriage Officiant, in Fact my Sister is going to be using her services in October 2016!
