simply amazing.

I just got married this weekend and could never in my wildest dreams have imagined better hair and makeup. Jackie is AMAZING. She was so professional but also had such a calming and fun presence for the wedding day. She made all of us look like Vogue models and was just so great to hang with all day. Her team was so wonderful too. People all night kept asking me who did my hair and makeup because they were blown away. Look no further for your hair and makeup vendor. It literally doesn’t get better than Jackie.

So happy I found her for my wedding day!

Jackie is the utmost professional and top notch make up artist. Whenever I look at wedding photos I am so grateful that I found her to do my makeup for my special day. I was told my makeup was “flawless” “stunning” and “on point” throughout the day and I completely agree. I felt beautiful. I was determined to find a makeup artist who specialized in air brush and trialed with several people. Jackie is truly a master at her craft and very talented with air brushing. My makeup and lashes never looked better.
Not only was I in search of a makeup artist who would give me a natural yet flawless look, but it was very important to me to find someone who was an expert in wedding day timing. I have been a bridesmaid several times and have witnessed how crucial timing is the morning of a wedding. Jackie arrived early, was set up by the time I was told to arrive and had my bridesmaids and my makeup done in time for the photographers arrival. Hiring someone who guarantees they will have you ready is so important. Trusting her and her timing helped me keep calm and confident that everything was going smoothly.
I gave my 5 bridesmaids the option of getting their makeup done. All of them opted in so Jackie brought an assistant who was also phenomenal. Everyone loved their makeup. My cousin was one of my bridesmaids and is a make up artist herself. Every time she’s paid to get her makeup done she’s always been unhappy; until now. When Jackie finished her makeup, she loved it. That’s a huge compliment. All my bridesmaids looked and felt beautiful. I couldn’t have been happier with Jackie and highly recommend her. I wish she could do my makeup everyday!

Amazing Wedding Morning

Jackie is amazing. I met her when she did the hair and make up for my best friends wedding. When I was figuring out who would do make up for my squad the morning of my wedding, I instantly knew I was going with Jackie no questions asked. She is super easy going and flexible and was able to wrangle the 17 people we had getting ready that morning :). She seamless incorporated my mother in law and my grandmother into the lineup not knowing that they would be looking for make up that day until the morning. She and Daniela are so awesome and make getting ready fun. I was never stressed working with them.

Jackie, can't thank you enough! It was a pleasure and will definitely be recommending Jackie to anyone that is looking.

Amazing Makeup Artist!!!

Jackie did makeup for myself and my wedding party. She arrived on time (5am) and stayed until we began pictures. She was very professional and so easy to work with. You definitely need to call her for your next event!

So talented!

Jackie is incredible. She did hairstyles for my two bridesmaids and me for my wedding and she nailed it. Not only does she have incredible skill, she is professional, easy going, and FUN! We all had a blast getting ready with Jackie before the wedding. I feel so lucky to have found Jackie and been able to book her for the wedding. I can’t recommend her enough.

What can I say about JackieKStyles?! She is the best! She did both my hair and makeup for my wedding and all I got were compliments! She listened to exactly what I wanted and brought an amazing team with her to take care of my bridal party! They were all so nice, easy going and my bridal party were all happy with their hair and makeup. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. One of the things I was stressed about the most was put at ease once she was done and the night just got better from there. Jackie was our hair stylist for our daughter's wedding last weekend, and we could not have been more happy. She traveled to NJ to the hotel we were staying in, arrived early and ready to work. The bride, bridesmaids and I were thrilled with how we looked. She listened to each one and made everyone beyond happy. We all know how nerve wracking planning a wedding can be. Jackie made me feel completely at ease! She is a true professional: on time, patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and calm. JackieK Styles is a true gem in the Hudson Valley region. She was so responsive and collaborative with the overall design of my wedding. Jackie is beyond amazing! My mother came across her name due to her location being close to our venue but I would use Jackie today if she was in another state! I was very unsure of what I wanted for my hair, Jackie met with me as many times as I needed and was always flexible with my schedule. I also had 10 bridesmaids plus me, my mom and 3 flower girls, Jackie said not to worry she'd have a team day of and would create a schedule for me to view a few days before the wedding which she emailed to me and it was perfect! Her team was extremely talented. Every girl looked fantastic and we were on time for photos! A big plus is that she does hair AND makeup, it helps eliminate needing to search for another vendor. Jackie is also a sweet heart, she loves what she does and wants you to be happy so you feel comfortable saying what you like and what you don't like during trials so you both partner together to create exactly what you want ! My mom who doesn't trust anyone to do her makeup loved how she looked. Another big plus, she lets you pay everything prior to the wedding including tip so you don't have to worry about anything day of! I highly recommend Jackie hands down!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jackie at a recent wedding, for which she recommended my event planning/event coordination services to her bride. Jackie is incredibly talented, and her work is stunning. Not only did the bride and her entire bridal party + family (15 women!) look amazing, but Jackie worked quickly and was able to handle all kinds of requests from each of the women involved in the day. From start to finish Jackie and her team were absolutely fantastic! I did a trial with Jackie and that made me feel so confident about my choice to use her for hair and makeup for my big day. Jackie has such a positive energy and made me feel so comfortable. She even drove to my house to do the trial and it was fabulous. The day of our wedding she was nothing but helpful and even brought me two headpieces to choose from the wear in my hair. Jackie did an amazing job with my hair, and my bridesmaids' hair, on my wedding day! I have been wearing my hair short for years and grew it out just above my shoulders for my wedding. I was worried that I might not get the slightly dramatic head of curls that I really wanted for my vintage wedding, but Jackie did wonders! We discussed extensions for a while, and she ultimately just got an old school hair filler that she hid under my natural hair, which was a low-stress alternative and looked amazing.

I was particularly impressed with what Jackie did with varying amounts of direction. At my trial I brought her a Pinterest board of styles for inspiration and she translated that into something perfect for me. My mom had something in mind that she just described in person on the day of, and my matron of honor just said "do something pretty." And in all our cases, and everyone else's, she found the right thing to do to make everyone look beautiful. She asks great questions about dress necklines and headpieces and does wonders with hair.

Thank you so much Jackie for getting up at the crack of dawn to beautify my bridal party!

Jackie did my hair for my wedding on 9/25/16, along with 8 bridesmaids, my mother and two flower girls. She was very easy to work with from the beginning, always answered my emails promptly and was easy to coordinate with in the days right before the wedding. For my hair I wanted a loose, tousled bun, and she did exactly what I had in mind. All my bridesmaids loved the way she did their hair as well. I thought she did a really nice job of keeping everyones hair light and romantic with small braids and curls. It was a pleasure to have Jackie to my wedding and hope to use her in the future! It was an absolute pleasure working with Jackie. She made us feel comfortable and was very accessible. Jackie is wonderful! She is very professional, down to earth, and great at what she does. Her calm and collected manner is exactly what every bride wants on her wedding day. From the hair trail up to the wedding day Jackie was timely in her responses to my needs and questions. She was accommodating and came super early to the hotel I was getting ready at due to a large bridal party (8 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 1 bouquet girl). I absolutely loved the way my up due came out on my wedding day and my bridesmaids were very happy with their hair as well. Her assistant was just as sweet and I highly recommend them as hair stylist. Jackie played a big role in setting the tone for my wedding day and I felt confident and beautiful about my hair due all day. She is experienced and I hope she continues to get many more brides because she is experienced and knows her stuff!

Jackie was great! I met with her for an initial trial and loved the hair. She met with me a second time to make sure the extensions I bought were the right length and color to match my hair, I also brought the head piece I would wear the day of. She trimmed the extensions and would have colored the hair if it was necessary. Everything went off without a hitch the day of. Each of my bridesmaids had a different hairstyle in mind and she made them all look beautiful - and they all loved their hair too. Through Jackie I met Daniela who was great with makeup! I have VERY sensitive skin and my cheek flared up at the initial trial. She offered to do the face makeup a second time (when I went to see Jackie with my extensions) to see if I was sensitive to the makeup, the brush, etc. The lashes were perfect and did not move at all the day of, they were comfortable and did not lift at the corners. These two ladies made me feel so beautiful at my wedding. I would highly recommend this duo for any occasion.

Jackie did my hair and makeup for my wedding in November 2015 - and looking back at pictures now, they are the two things that make me absolutely ADORE the way I looked that special night. I was literally obsessed with my hair - and my makeup was exquisite. Jackie is a meticulous perfectionist whose hands weave magic before your very eyes. She is he most fun to be around, a natural, and works from her heart. Her confidence in her skills makes everyone around her comfortable. She was patient with me as I worked through my (many) ideas of how I wanted to look on my special day and how it turned out exceeded my expectations. I loved Jackie for my wedding. She made me look and feel like a princess that day! She is talented and very easy to work with. I ran into a problem after my first hair trial and she was able to just set another trial and truly did my hair the way I always imagined. She was early the day of the wedding to set up and make sure that things were in order for when I got there. She is amazing at what she does. The bridesmaid all looked amazing as well. Jackie is fantastic. She did my hair for my wedding and EIGHT of my bridesmaids. She was incredibly patient with me when I booked multiple trials since I was waffling on what hairstyle I wanted. Every single one of my bridesmaids (yes, all 8) couldn't stop talking about how great she was. She came early in the morning with her assistant, and with the girls just showing last minute pictures on their phones, was able to style their hair in ways that went with the style of the wedding but also were incredibly flattering for each girl. To top it all off- 2 of my bridesmaids are brides to be, and immediately asked for her business card after the wedding.
I have never once liked my hair styled- until I had my hair styled by Jackie. She was able to work with texture and my hair in a way that made me feel absolutely amazing and beautiful. And to top it all off, she is so great to be around. I couldn't recommend her more!

I was so beyond thrilled with Jackie. She was very professional, put me at ease, made sure I was happy, and kept in great communication. I did several hair trials with other stylists before finding Jackie. I was getting married in the Hudson Valley and it was extremely difficult to travel back and forth for tastings and trials. Jackie came to NYC to my apartment one evening after work to do the hair trial. It was so incredibly convenient and easy. She was personable and professional. I was deathly afraid of looking like a prom queen. I was getting married in hot August on a farm/barn and wanted a natural looking updo. Jackie did an excellent job trying to execute the perfect balance between natural and flowy but sturdy enough to last the entire evening. I also had 11 bridesmaids getting their hair done and all needed to be ready by 12:30 pm. Jackie brought an assistant and effortlessly finished everyone's hair with a smile.

After countless hours of researching hair/makeup artists for our wedding, my now-wife and I decided to reach out to Jackie K and could NOT be any happier that we did.

As two women who don't wear makeup or have our hair done very often, we were both very apprehensive about who to choose. We knew we wanted someone good, but we also worried that being so inexperienced in the hair and makeup world would leave us completely disconnected from whoever we chose. Let me say that we absolutely hit the jackpot with Jackie K (and makeup artist Daniella)! First of all, working with them was a complete pleasure. I can personally say that having them work on my hair and makeup felt like hanging out with friends on an average day. I swear the hour and a half I spent with Jackie and Daniella was THE calmest part of the wedding-day-preparation process. I cannot stress enough how wonderfully warm and friendly they were during the whole process. I honestly didn't want them to leave when they were done.

As for the quality of work - while I might be slightly biased, I have to say that my wife and I looked pretty smokin' after Jackie K and Daniella finished with us! Family and friends complimented us on how amazing we looked throughout the whole night.

Jackie was AMAZING in every way! She styled my daughter and I for my wedding and we not only ended up with great hair, but had a great time! We both wanted partial updos with curls and she achieved both of our (very different) visions flawlessly. Jackie stayed in close touch with me throughout the planning process, texted with me to help me select extensions (and offered to meet me at the store!) and in general could not have been more accommodating. Both of our hairstyles lasted through an indoor/outdoor evening of dancing and celebrating! We are looking forward to going to Jackie for our regular cuts and color from now on, and would recommend her highly for all of your wedding styling needs.

I found Jackie on Wedding Wire. I was looking for someone who was close to New York for a trial but also traveled to the site on the day of the wedding. The trial for my hair was exactly as I showed her in the pictures I took. I was looking for something of a more vintage look. She did it. She came to the house we rented up in the Hudson Valley early in the morning on the day of the wedding. My hair was absolutely beautiful (and I don't usually do a lot with my hair) and stayed that way for the entire day and night. Jackie was very professional and accommodating. She was patient when someone wasn't quite ready to go and never was in a hurry to get done even though it was a long day. She did everyone's hair exactly the way they wanted it even though she just met them and saw pictures that day. She made our wedding day and hair and make-up so much easier and less stressful plus she was fun to be around and fit in perfect. I would definitely recommend her!

Jackie is an extremely talented and professional stylist. She did an amazing job with my hair and with my wedding party! My hair was immaculate and lasted all night! Jackie was so easy to work with and was super responsive to all of my questions and concerns. She even met me at the beauty supply store to help me pick out my extensions free of charge. The day of my wedding Jackie was a calming and pleasant addition to the getting ready process. I reached out to Jackie a year before my wedding because I was nervous about my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I decided to test her out with a regular cut and color as a trial run for her services. I was so delighted by her work, professionalism and easy going nature that she has been my regular colorist and hair expert ever since!
With my wedding prep, I had a bunch of pictures saved for both the hair and makeup I liked, but I didn't know what I wanted exactly. I liked a part of one picture and a part of another. I showed Jackie the different styles and asked if she thought she could combine them to one. I LOVED how she combined the two pictures I liked! She is so incredibly talented.
I knew with my makeup I wanted a smoky dramatic eye, but not too theatrical. For the test she suggested since I am very fair that I should go with a brown smoky eye to match my hair and skin color. WOW!!! She did exactly what I wanted and it looked amazing on me. I really felt like a super model.

On the morning of our wedding I got really sick. Part nerves, part something I ate the day before. I couldn't believe that I was sick on my wedding day. Jackie teamed up with one of my bridesmaids and together they had the kitchen bring a whole assortment of things to help calm my stomach. Jackie was calm, friendly, sympathetic and nurturing. She was a key reason my stomach issues passed. I was so so so grateful I chose to have her as my makeup and hair stylist on my wedding day. It was as if an old friend was there by my side and she knew exactly how to make me feel special and pretty, despite having the day start off rocky for me.

I can't recommend her enough for any special event you might have! Book Jackie! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

Do yourself a favor and go with Jackie for your wedding hair!!! I had a few awful trials before I found her and let me tell you she is amazing! Not only did my bridesmaids hair come out amazing, i have never felt so beautiful in all my life. She nailed the style i was going for and i got SO many compliments on my hair. Jackie came highly recommended by Beauty by Daniela and from our first conversation I knew she understood my ideas for my wedding day hair! I have unruly curly hair that does what it wants and she gave me several pre-wedding day preparation instructions that made my hair perfect for the big day! Jackie is so wonderful. At the trial, she totally understood my vision and what I was looking for and helped me execute that. And even a month later, after looking at too much Pinterest, she was so calm and patient with me as my vision changed again. Jackie is a fantastic hair stylist and makeup artist! Jackie went out of her way to make sure I looked and felt beautiful. She was able to make my makeup look natural and still stand out as a bride. Although I was wearing more makeup than I am used to, I still felt like was looking at myself in the mirror. She has excellent time management skills. She not only did my makeup, but was able to do 4 additional people’s makeup and styled 3 bridesmaids’ hair. She did quick hair and makeup touch ups for myself and others in my wedding party. She knew the flow of the day and kept everything moving, coordinating photos with the photographer and making sure everyone felt beautiful all while maintaining a clam demeanor. Jackie did the hair and makeup for girls in my bridal party that were staying at a local hotel. She did 2 bridesmaids and our 4-year old flower girl! When I saw them all the morning of the wedding I was blown away. Everyone looked amazing and happy! The flowers girls hair was perfect! When I asked my girls how the experience was, they said that Jackie was amazing! My sister-in-law even asked her for her card because she was such a fan of her work and personality! Jackie was truly my hero on my wedding day and I will forever be thankful to her! I originally scheduled her to do my hair and my mother's hair, and I hired a different stylist to focus on my bridesmaid's hair. The woman who was hired to do my bridesmaids hair did a terrible job and all six of my bridesmaids were almost in tears! Not only did Jackie make me feel like a princess on my wedding day, she fixed every one of my bridesmaid's hair and turned everyone's tears into smiles. I got married on July 25, 2014 and was referred to Jackie from a mutual friend who had worked with her in the past. I met Jackie for my bridal hair and makeup trial and we hit it off instantly. I’m a total control freak. Jackie confirmed our appointment in advance and arrived early, making me feel at ease. I had previously provided pictures of a hair style I liked and Jackie exceeded all of my expectations and made my hair look AMAZING. I have never worn makeup so I left this to Jackie, with my only request being that I not look like a clown. Jackie was so, so patient and explained everything she was doing as we went along. After my trial, there was no doubt that I wanted Jackie to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. On my wedding day, as she had before, Jackie confirmed our appointment in advance and arrived early. I had very few comments and requests after the trial and Jackie accommodated every single one of them. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup on the day of the wedding and I have since referred other friends to Jackie, each of whom agreed that she is just fabulous. Not only is Jackie extremely skilled, she is very responsive, punctual, and has a great personality. I had so much chatting with Jackie and her humor and calm presence were so incredibly refreshing. Jackie did my hair for my wedding, and she and an assistant did my 8 bridesmaids. Jackie also did a wedding hair trial for me at my apartment in NYC a month before the wedding - so convenient! I simply showed her a Pinterest board of 10 styles I liked, and she helped me pick the best elements of several of the pictures that would work on my hair type. When I had little things I wanted differently from the trial, she understood exactly what I meant even when I struggled to find the right description. She took lots of pictures and notes so she would remember what I liked. On the day of the wedding, my hair couldn't have looked more perfect! It was everything I wanted -- natural, braided, loose, romantic. My bridesmaids were also quite happy with their hair.

On top of her talent as a stylist, she was a good communicator (laying out all the fees and recommended scheduling logistics ahead of time), organized, always on time, and patient (even during the craziness of the big day). Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend Jackie!

Jackie is truly the best! She and I met a few months before the wedding for my trial and fell in love with her work! Then we met because she agreed to help me dye some extensions I bought in the wrong color, my hair lightened (I'm blonde) as we got closer to the wedding and she dyed them again a second time to match my color perfectly. She did my hair for the rehearsal dinner and for my wedding and it was as though the picture in my mind of what I wanted my hair to look like - she could see. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.
Not to mention she did makeup for the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and my sister a bridesmaid and everyone thought they looked better than ever.
I am so grateful to have met Jackie and plan to use her skills at all formal events I attend! I would recommend her to everyone, my bridesmaids already have gotten her info from me because they want to use her when their time comes!

I have never had my hair done before, so of course I scheduled a trial. I found Jackie on
theknot.com and contacted her through that website. She had a speedy response and I was very pleased with her pricing. We set up a trial and loved what Jackie did. The trial was about a month and half before the wedding. I took pictures and after going back I realized the first style I had, I didn't love. I explained this to Jackie and showed her pictures of what I wanted. She made my hair perfect. I have nothing more to say than that. I loved it more than the first one and fit the style of my dress. Jackie not only did my hair but my maid of honors as well. My maid of honor has been in numerous weddings with the occasional updo and has never liked them. She informed me the day of my wedding as well as afterward that Jackie did the best updo she ever had. This is saying a lot from my maid of honor as she is very picky. The day of my wedding there was a plethora of snow on the ground and my family had to move cars around. Jackie allowed my family to move her car. Jackie did my hair for my August 6, 2011 wedding and has been doing my hair ever since! My wedding day happened to be muggy and humid, but when I look back at my pictures it's amazing how my hair looked the same (absolutely fabulous) throughout the entire wedding and reception. She is an amazing stylist and I've never trusted anyone with my hair more than Jackie. Aside from her skills with hair, she is the utmost professional and is great to be around. I very very very highly recommend Jackie!

Jackie is a class act all the way. Her patience and industry knowledge of both the wedding and beauty worlds makes what can sometimes be a very stressful process fun again! Jackie did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and the makeup for my while bridal party and my grandmother. We did a trial a few weeks before and I absolutely loved it. I am a makeup girl and have never had someone else do my makeup and actually love it until I met Jackie. My makeup lasted all day and night and photographed so beautifully. I really looked like myself which was so important to me. I also decided at the last second (day of wedding) to wear my hair in a totally different way than we did at the trial. Jackie went with the flow and was great about doing a last minute unplanned change. She gave me a the exact look I had been imaging for myself as a bride. When it's this important, you need someone who can nail it everytime and Jackie does. I recommend her to anyone who wants to look amazing on their wedding day. .

I really enjoyed working with Jackie! I absolutely loved my hair style, and the curls lasted all day. So did my makeup. Plus, she was flexible and easy going, which is a real necessity on the morning of a wedding. I highly recommend using Jackie for you bridal hair and makeup!

Jackie was unbelievable throughout my entire planning process. Not only was she super helpful and knowledgable about scheduling hair and makeup for me and my 9 bridesmaids, she did an AMAZING job on all our hair for the wedding. She gave suggestions that worked out perfectly. Even some of my hard-to-please bridesmaids were complimentary of her! Definitely book Jackie for your wedding!!

Talented and easy to work with

Jackie was very easy to work with and having someone do both hair and makeup kept my wedding day preparation simple and stress-free. Not only did Jackie do great work, she was also very nice and friendly. She was very flexible and had good recommendations. I really enjoyed working with Jackie!

Jackie is a real pro. She knows what she's doing and makes it work for you. My hair is very thin, but she managed to coif it on two occasions (my shower and my wedding) in such a way that I got rave reviews. Very reliable and a nice person too. You won't need to worry...she can handle it. Also did my make-up on those two occasions, with lashes, and apparently I looked fabulous, say all my friends. :)

Jackie is a dream come true. I can't count the number of people at my wedding who complimented my hair specifically - I think I heard the phrase "best wedding hair ever" bandied about.

Jackie did my hair, as well as my mom's and my maid of honor's. We were all pleased as punch with the outcome. And on top of that Jackie was a complete delight to work with - friendly, professional, responsive, accountable, accommodating. She also has great vision. None of us had an incredibly clear idea of what we wanted our hair to be, but she managed to help us toward styles that fit each of us perfectly.

Jackie styled my entire bridal party's hair for my wedding last weekend! She is an incredibly talented, flexible and accommodating hair stylist. She came to my apartment in Brooklyn on a weeknight in the evening to do my hair trial. She was on time and she did exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding she was prompt, calm, and made sure that all my ladies were treated with care. Jackie took her time making sure that everyone looked perfect! Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was very responsive in her correspondence and was flexible in her scheduling. I loved Jackie's "bedside manner!" She was funny, charming and sweet. She can work with a variety of styles. (I added some fresh flowers to my hair day-of.) A tube of lipstick for re-applying came included with the session. Highly recommended!
