Jessica is an amazing photographer! She was very professional and caring from the start walking us through the processes of what to expect and guiding us through everything. Any questions we had she promptly answered and was so personable we had our engagement photos done first and they are breathtaking, truly made that moment magical and now one ill have forever thanks to her! The day of our wedding she was so accommodating as one of our daughters was in the hospital, she made that moment amazing and so special I will forever be greatful to her I highly recommend her to anyone who asks! -

Best photographer in Connecticut!
J. Tones Photography is, in my opinion, the best photographer in Connecticut. She's much more than a photographer, she is a true artist. Every photo she releases is carefully curated and edited to perfection. She's photographed multiple events for me including but not limited to:
-4 years of annual Christmas photos
-my pre-engagement session
-my actual engagement session
-my engagement party
-my new house
-multiple sessions with both of my cats (how she manages to capture perfect pictures of squirming cats every time blows my mind)
She can do all of this and so much more. Her wedding photography is stunning. She's done maternity shoots and family shoots before, too. She is incredible and I highly recommend this business!!! -

Jess did our engagement shoot this summer and when I say my fiancé and I were blown away by the photos, that’s an understatement. We could not be happier with how our photographs turned out, and how easy & seamless the process was. We were so worried about feeling awkward, not knowing how to pose etc., and we had FUN. Like, hanging with a friend fun. Also, her editing skills without a doubt set her apart from any other photographer we looked into. We truly couldn’t have asked for more - I can not recommend Jess enough!!! -

Picking a photographer is one of the most important things to do when planning a wedding. I joined the CT Wedding Exchange FB page and came across Jess' post. I looked into her work and we were amazed at her photos and how they came out. Jess was quick to respond to my inquiry and was the best and most helpful to work with during the next year. From engagement pictures to our wedding day pictures and all the questions we had in between, Jess was always there to help. She was very flexible and understanding and calm with all of my questions (especially when it came to the timeline). Jess is the best photographer to hire for your wedding because she just doesn't take the pictures, she interacts and is a part of everything. Jess was on the dance floor with us all night long! She ran the portrait shots portion of the photos very smoothly, especially for my family being divorced. We got so many compliments the days following our wedding about how great Jess and her second were and how many pictures they must have taken. In terms of turn around time, it took a little longer than we were hoping. But I wasn't worried at all, her sneak peak of the photos is probably the size of some full galleries and she gave us a bigger print credit which we used to get a canvas. And the canvas, came out amazing! It is so beautiful. If you want pictures that will tell a story for years to come, hire Jess. She is fun, accommodating and understanding. She is very helpful and makes the whole process less stressful. We can't wait to have more pictures with Jess taken in the future. -

Jess has photographed my cats, my engagement, my Christmas photos, my little cousin, and myself. Each photo set she does is nothing short of perfection. She managed to capture the epic cuteness that sparkles in the eyes of my cats. She made my little cousin feel beautiful. She takes my most special moments and memories and captures them in frames of time that will last forever. She is fun, creative and vibrant. She is the most talented photographer I have ever shot with. -

Jess is so wonderful to work with! Not only is she a great person but she has an AMAZING eye for the right shot. We live in another state and of course the only day we could meet her it was pouring buckets. She braved the rain to take our engagement photos and they came out amazing! On our wedding day, she showed up and basically ran the show, which is what we needed lol! She was taking photos the whole time that she was there. During the ceremony, she and her second were EVERYWHERE! Like I would look and she would be in a different place haha. She even danced with us on the dance floor later that night! I can’t recommend her enough! -
