Jesse and Moira were an absolute pleasure to work with! When you're faced with hundreds of photographer options and stumble across a website that stops you in your tracks from the very first photo, you just know. And we knew. We hired them right then and there, and not for a single second did we feel disappointed.
From the very first phone call, they took the time to understand us, what we envisioned for our wedding, what mattered most, and they brought it all to life with such attention to detail and heart. Their work is simply perfection.
Our wedding photos are stunning. Every single image takes me right back to that magical day. They captured the moments we experienced, the ones we missed, and so many candid memories that tell beautiful, unscripted stories. Jesse and Moira have a rare gift—not only do they document your day, they bring it to life again and again with every photo.

Fun, friendly and fantastic photographers

Wedding photos are a huge deal and can often lead to a lot of stress. Moira and Jesse are a perfect pair with their energy, vision, ability to listen and make your day out of this world. When meeting with them they instantly understood us and when we were unsure about something they had an answer. They came up with things we never would have thought of and made the day flow flawlessly. We were fortunate enough to live near them to meet for handing off our album and grab a beer as we looked through our pictures. These two are the best inside and out of photography. Do not hesitate to book them and make your special day more memorable.

Jesse and Moira do a fabulous job of explaining everything in the consultation. We were thrilled with our pictures from our wedding day. Our guests have loved the pictures as well. They're incredible photos out in nature (national parks, outdoors). They do a great job capturing movement, light, special moments, and directing for unique and stunning poses.

I cannot express how highly I recommend J.La Plante Photo! There is NO one I would trust more then this dynamite husband and wife team team!
The way Jesse and Moira were able to perfectly and beautifully capture our wedding day, is something I will cherish forever!
Obviously their work is beyond incredible. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how much I love the photos they took.
Now let’s talk about how Jesse and Moira truly helped make the wedding day such a dream. They were incredible at keeping us all on track and getting every single photo I requested. 100% Recommend J La Plante!!!

Wow! Where to begin? J La Plante (Jesse and Moira) are absolutely fantastic, as photographers and individuals! From the moment we saw their work, we knew we wanted to partner with them to capture our unique, non-traditional fantasy-inspired wedding. From the first consult to the day-of, they were truly spectacular. One of our hopes was to have photos that captured the magic and drama as though we were in a high-scale fantasy television show. AND THEY DELIVERED. The reasons to work with Jesse and Moira are endless - professional, speedy, organized, enthusiastic, collaborative, good-humored, and extremely talented. They captured the emotions and festivities of the day beautifully. The only choice if you want an experience that is uniquely you

Jesse and Moira are hands down the best in the game, and the only choice if you want unique, creative and timeless photos that capture *your* personality and *your* day. The photos are truly works of art, and their professionalism is unmatched. They are also wonderful people- both genuine and funny. We started off planning a large wedding and ended up eloping and they were with us every step of the way (literally- we hiked to our elopement). We’re thankful for not only the photos they captured for us, but the experience they created for us. Hands down the best.

Exceptional Professionals

There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how phenomenal it was to work with Moira & Jesse La Plante.
Besides being absolute masters of their craft, they are also wonderful individuals. They had us smiling & laughing throughout our special day. They have a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting, and background. They captured the most special moments of our wedding, both candidly & in portraits. Phenomenal talent. Chill vibes. The best.

Choosing Jesse and Moira as our photographers was probably one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They are somehow both phenomenally talented and very chill: the perfect combo. I won’t linger on their artistic talent — their work speaks for itself — but I will say that they were 100% ALL IN for our wedding.

We were married up in the mountains in late May, and although we always knew the weather might be tricky, we weren’t quite expecting the foot of snow that ended up falling the day before. In the days leading up to the wedding, Moira and Jesse bought snow chains for their car, headed up to the mountains a day early to make sure they were close to our venue, and promised us they would WALK to our wedding if they had to (!!). And of course, our photos are literally The. Best. They captured our day more fully and authentically than I could have imagined. There’s not much more to say than that!

(Okay, one last note: We also did an engagement session/“alt session” with them the year before our wedding, where we went on a ridge hike up near 13,000 feet and generally had a fabulous time — and then also received the coolest, most genuine hiking photos that we’ll ever have. So I definitely recommend that as well — they have some pretty fantastic adventure ideas.)

Nailed the "Snow Globe" Look at our Winter Wedding!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! We hired Moira and Jesse with J. La Plante Photography to shoot our NYE wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. Our hope was to take advantage of the time of year and location to capture the fairytale “snow globe” look. During our consultation, M&J were upfront and honest with us about making our vision a reality and gave us an outline of how the day would look if we wanted pictures in Rocky Mountain National Park. We were able to capture both indoor and outdoor pictures that day, which turned out unreal! M&J were great to work with and listened to every detail we mentioned to them in the weeks/days leading up to our wedding. They are a phenomenal husband/wife team with endless capabilities! They’re also fun to hang with, too! You’d definitely WANT them around on your wedding day! Thank you, Moira and Jesse!

Best photographers. Period.

Choosing Jesse and Moira as our photographers was the best choice that we could've made. We knew that photos were going to be one of the most important things to take away from the wedding and we spent weeks looking at photographers only to be hit with the same issues. Most photographers either lacked quality, or were highly expensive with huge restrictions on photos or both. Not only did Jesse and Moira exceed our expectations, they helped ease a lot of stress and made the entire experience fun. The photos for our wedding came out better than we could have imagined and really showcased our unique and weird styles.

You've found your photographers!!!

I cannot & I mean cannot express how much we absolutely loved working with Moira and Jesse! They are so talented & make such an amazing team. We first met them at my sisters wedding in DC & I knew from there I had to have them for my wedding in Montana. Their planning, attention to detial & down to earth attitude isnt something that is easy to find. They definitely deserve an award for putting up with our wild & crazy group. We will never be able to thank them enough. I truly hope our paths cross again someday. Hey, maybe someday you guys can join us for some "slap the cooler" drinks! Haha. Stop looking for a wedding photographer. Just stop. I can tell you that you won’t regret hiring Moira and Jesse with J. La Plante. Not only are they talented photographers, they are wonderful people. Moira made me feel so at ease while she was photographing us in the bridal cabin and my husband said how much he enjoyed spending time with Jesse while getting ready with the boys. Throughout the night they were nothing but helpful and courteous. Upon receiving our final album we were blown away by the quality and shots taken. They were easy to correspond with and often checked in on us after hearing we postponed just to check on our mental health and well-being. Unique Photography, Captures the essence of “life”

We were looking for distinctive photography—J. La Plante captured moments of bliss, laughter, movement, and natural beauty. This is more than simple posed photos—their photography exudes excitement, uniqueness, and emotion.

Moira and Jesse maximized venue scenery with creative perspectives and color brilliance from day and the night. We used glowsticks and bubbles for our Grand Exit and the photos provided the color, the movement, and the energy we all felt the entire day into the night. It makes a big difference to have 2 photographers from different angles.

Moira made it easy to carry on detailed and sincere discussions regarding our interests and questions prior to our event (and even post-wedding); she answered all questions and offered opportunities to provide specific photos to be taken at the wedding. They were able to get the digital photos to us within about a month or so after our wedding and we are extremely happy with the quality and communication.

Additionally, in the process of ordering the prints, Moira immediately communicated and solved an issue on the website and provided an additional day to order our prints—total customer satisfaction. We were extremely pleased with her follow-through in resolving the ordering issue plus her constant availability via verbal and written communication.

Do you want awesome photos? Then book J. La Plante

The photos speak for themselves. If you've found J. La Plante, then you're done. Stop looking for photographers. You already found them. These are the greatest photos we've ever seen. First of all, Moira and Jesse are a delight, and have been so fun to work with. We booked them before we even had a venue or a wedding date because we wanted to work with them so badly. We booked an alt session first, and had a great time. They had a crazy idea involving trampolines and holi powder, and we were like cool cool let's do this. Um, it was the best. Go to their blog and find them.

Before the wedding date, we met to talk about the types of photos we wanted (I should mention that we met at a cat cafe, which was the best). We received a timeline so we knew when we had to be ready. They were also so helpful on our wedding day. They told us where to go and when, so it was stress-free. They were champions at fielding requests from guests and made sure that we had the kind of photos we wanted. If you've got weird relatives making ludicrous requests, they can handle them like pros. They're 100% on your team.

I literally want to print every picture that we received in our gallery. Everyone keeps talking about how awesome the photos are and that they've never seen anything like them. Reader, you also have not seen photos like these before. Book J. La Plante before someone else gets them before you.

How do I ever capture in words what an incredible job Jesse and Moira did with our wedding photos!!! They were so easy to work with, from beginning to end. We immediately clicked and my husband and I felt like we had partners who we could trust to capture our wedding day in the best manner. The day of, it felt like we had known them for years, which made it so easy to be authentic and genuine. Their artistry and vision just blows my mind. We did not want our wedding photos to be boring or posed; we wanted something unique, and we wanted to focus on the relationships and emotions of the day. Best in class

Where do I even begin to sing the praises of these two incredible, genuinely fabulous and insanely talented artists??? I guess starting with the fact that I have been a professional wedding photographer for the last 16 years might add some weight to what I'm about to say, as I understand both photography and wedding days in a way that 99% of their clients do not. I really do KNOW how hard it is to photograph a wedding. I know how stressful it can be. I know how impossible it is to please everyone. So, add to all of that that the pressure of photographing for another professional wedding photographer in a room literally chalk full of wedding professionals turned guests, and you have a situation on your hands that is not for the faint of heart!

I met Moira at a wedding professional networking event and was immediately drawn to her. I could tell right away that she was intelligent and genuinely interested in making a real connection with me. When I met Jesse a short time later, it was the same thing. We clicked immediately as well. When I found out they were leading an upcoming photography workshop, I decided to go as a way to reignite some creativity in my own work. Over the course of the class, I sat there listening to them talk about their philosophies on life and work, it hit me like a ton of bricks. These were the two I wanted to photograph MY wedding. It was a decision I has been struggling with for months. I mean, seriously. How the hell does a wedding photographer with the perfectionist tendencies that I am constantly recovering from, such as myself, choose a photographer out of the MANY photographers I know and love anyway???

Of course, they had to say yes to me/us first. Which thankfully they did! We even picked our date around their availability! (Really, it’s true.) And from the get go as their clients, they made us feel so special and important. They had the most amazing ideas for our engagement/alt session and ultimately we landed on going all the way to Utah to the Salt Flats. It was such an unexpected adventure and incredible bonding opportunity for us all. And the photos they took of us are truly EPIC. I mean, really. They went above and beyond anything I would have expected...

The wedding day itself was a gorgeous whirlwind and I cant imagine two more lovely or calming forces than we had in both Jesse and Moira. They were everywhere and nowhere all at once. They captured the intense emotion from start to finish in a way that is truly beyond belief. They captured the SPIRIT of our wedding day with grace and a flow that is seriously next level. These are not just photos. They are works of art. The story they tell will be one that my husband and I, and our families, and generations to come will be able to relive with such texture and depth, it brings me to tears. Again.

Jesse and Moira, from the bottom of our hearts and from the depths of our souls, THANK YOU. Thank you for working so hard for us. Thank you for being who you are as humans and as artists and as professionals. Bottom line up front: the quality of their work speaks for itself. If you want traditional, boring, trite wedding pictures that look like everything you’ve ever seen before in a stock photo frame insert, then please go with anyone else. But if you want your wedding photos to reflect the unique magic and excitement of YOUR big day, then your decision to hire Jesse and Moira will be one of the best decisions of your life (before you commit to your “I do’s” that is 😉).

Like any significant investment, it’s always important to “shop around” before deciding on which company best suits your vision, style, tastes, and budget. The Two Are The Freakin' Best

When I worked with Jesse and Moira for the first time, it was not as a bride, it was a fellow vendor. After having the sincere pleasure of working alongside them for someone else's day, I knew that when my time came, they would be the ones to call.

Besides being wildly creative and talented, Jesse and Moira are also timely, professional, and thorough. Moira was a blessing on our wedding day, ensuring that my husband and I had a few moments to ourselves away from the madness of a 200 person wedding by setting boundaries with our bridal party and family. Jesse picked the perfect spots for a first look and starlight photos. I loved that we didn't waste time with the BS wedding photos so many photographers do (the posing, the fake laughing, the linked arms and walking...ugh, it's all the worst), and they focus on the details, capturing the truly genuine and authentic moments. Honestly, I could go on and on, but I haven't had the chance to even write them yet to thank them and I don't want to let it all out here.

Best Photographers Ever

Jesse & Moira make an amazing photography team. The photos they capture are insane. Their art is so different than other wedding photos and that is what we loved about them. I have gotten so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos from nearly everyone I know. Not to mention that they are amazing people and so easy to work with. Trustworthy, responsive, helpful. Not only were they our photographers, they helped us find our wedding planner (who was equally as amazing), and have become our friends.

Bold, brilliant style for couples like us who hate hay field photos

I'm not the type of bride that was looking for your typical wedding or engagement photos in the hay fields or romantically posed photos. But since that is what's popular, photographers with that style saturate the market. So that made finding a wedding photographer whose style I liked, very difficult. My style is unique, I love bold, bright colors and things that really make you go "WOW". I myself am not artistic and leave that work to the professionals. I knew the photographer that we got was going to need to have a crap ton of creativity with crazy ideas up their sleeve to deliver what I was looking for. It took me a while but I finally narrowed it down to 2 or 3 photographers. One of which's portfolio had exactly what I was looking for. That was J. La Plante Photography. I spoke with the other photographers and J. La Plante was the highest price but their portfolio was all out whereas the others had some photos that were all out and some were just meh IMO. After debating for a week or so, I decided to spend the money and reel the budget in elsewhere. At the very last minute, we decided to do engagement pictures with them as well. My availability was super limited but we made it work and trekked out to Moab, UT to Arches National Park to meet up with Jesse and Moira. We stopped at a few different locations within the park and they took some candid shots and posed shots. We basically spent all day with them getting night shots as well. It was super fun getting to know them better throughout the day and we ended up grabbing dinner and drinks with them afterwards at a dive bar that had a horribly fun atmosphere. We got 70 photos back about 3 weeks after our session. And let me tell you... WOW. That's the response I got from absolutely every person who saw the photos. Jesse had said that he was going through a blue stage (I'm thinking Picasso's blue period). He was exactly right! The photos looked phenomenal with the deep blue sky and bright orange arches.

Fast forward a few months, Moira called to chat about the wedding day timeline and our expectations for the day. She had a timeline of her own and I had nothing in particular planned except the ceremony at 4:30. I can't even verbalize how grateful I was that she had a timeline. It was the standard for the entire wedding day. My homework after the call was to get a list of all of the family photos that I wanted with a list of names for each family member. I have a blended family, so that's a lot of people. Come wedding day, Moira and Jesse were so patient with our gigantic family and getting everyone together and organized efficiently.

The day before the wedding, we ran into them while they were scouting and chatted about a few ideas so they had a good rundown of plans for the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Moira and Jesse were involved right from the beginning, with hair and makeup at 10 freaking AM. As the day went on, I got more anxious (due to the stupid small things like when do I get the microphone from the DJ and blah blah stuff) and Jesse and Moira powered on, even through my anxiety. They got some amazing shots of the ceremony, followed by the extensive family shots and then the reception began. They hung around the dance floor and got great shots of everyone dancing and having a great time. It has been amazing looking at them and being able to feel like I was able to experience everything that the people in the photos are experiencing even though I was off doing something else. At the end of the night, we took some couple shots in a few other places and then said goodbye.

We got our full wedding suite of 800+ photos 4 weeks after our wedding. I am in love with all of the photos. They were able to capture our day so accurately and beautifully. We aren't the most photogenic people and are defintely the type who look awkward posing. Jesse and Moira were able to get us to look natural and coherent. I hope to be able to work with them in the future, maybe at a 10 year anniversary party.

So amazing!

There are very few things in life where you want the best photographer and your wedding is one of them! We didn't want same old same old boring group photos we wanted a photographer who thought outside the box, who got to know us and our personalities and what made us happy and laugh! Luckily we found J. La Plante Photo when our friends used them at their wedding. We were blown away by those photos and we were then blown away again by our photos. I don't think words can describe just how amazingly cool these photos are! EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE has said the same thing about our photos... that they captured the amazingness of the night! Not only that, but their website is so easy to use making the download and sharing of photos so much easier! And to top all of this off, these two people (Moira and Jesse) are just lovely, kind, smart, sweet, and easy to work with.

Best ever!

When I tell you my husband doesn't like pictures, I mean I MAYBE get one picture out of him. Two pictures? That's out of the question. Enter J. La Plante Photo. Jesse and Moira make taking pictures FUN! After our Alt session, my (now) husband could not wait to see them again for wedding photos and fun.

Not only do their pictures and talent blow everyone else out of the water, but they are genuinely awesome people who make taking pictures relaxing and entertaining at the same time. My family and friends cannot get enough of them and their pictures, nor can we obviously! They are so unique and captured us and our loved ones so perfectly.

I mean it when I say they are the absolute best, hands down, nothing even comes close. The insane shots and memories you will get from them are something you will cherish forever.

Wedding pictures are a big deal, and having the right photographers can make or break your day. Our wedding would not have been the same without Jesse and Moira, and I could never thank them enough for being who they are as individuals and as a team, and for utilizing their extreme and unique talent to give us the most epic pictures.

I can't use enough superlatives to describe their work; truly phenomenal!

I researched many photographers online before settling on 4 to reach out to. Moira responded immediately, and set up a time for a phone call. She spent about 45 minutes talking to me just trying to learn more about my fiance and I, how we met, and what we were looking for in our wedding photos. By the end of that call, I felt like she really knew us. But I had to get the fiance on board, as I had done all the research to this point on my own. He looked at all the portfolios I presented to him, but when he saw Jesse and Moira's work, he stopped and literally said "Wow. You can really see the emotion in these photos, and feel it." That coming from him was HUGE! Next we met them for a beer and to get to know them a bit more. At the end of that, we were reassured that these were the people we wanted photographing our wedding. All our friends had told us that one vendor to definitely NOT skimp on for your wedding is the photographer. Jesse and Moira were worth every penny and then some. We picked them because we didn't want a bazillion forced, posed, or basic portrait images. They got some of the most unique shots I have ever seen. All of our friends and family who have viewed the photos said they were the best wedding photos they've ever seen. Half the time on wedding day I didn't even know where they were, because they blended in so well and have major photography ninja skills. They also have an insane ability to capture both the beauty of the environment (both inside and outside), as well as the spirit of the people, without one being at the expense of the other. And on top of all of that, they are just wonderful, mellow, awesome human beings. I am so grateful we chose to have them as our photographers, and so grateful for their amazing craft. I won't ever be getting married again, so I won't have cause to use them for another wedding :-) But YOU can, and you should!

Above and beyond!

We highly recommend Jesse and Moira! They went above and beyond expectations, including scouting out our wedding location the day before, spending extra time photographing an excursion in the morning of the wedding, and serving as extra hands while we were getting ready and breaking house rules to keep us on schedule (what unauthorized vehicle sign!?). Moira was super professional and provided great client service in our exchanges. We felt really taken care of leading up to the wedding with a long phone call going over details and setting expectations, as well as a written shot list. On the day of, they rolled with the punches and kept us feeling calm and happy. Jesse captured beautifully epic, creative shots all day--and into the night, with a long exposure to capture the meteor shower that we were so excited to witness as newlyweds! Moira and Jesse both captured tiny moments that were so large emotionally. Also, the turnaround time for delivery of photos has to be one of the fastest in the industry! We were very lucky all around to have these two incredible people capture our wedding. Thank you so much, Jesse and Moira!

Amazing work!

Vibrant and awesomely different!

These photos...holy sh*t! You can re-feel every bit of emotion of your event just by looking through the pics. They are epicly colorful, vibrant creative and beautiful! I haven't even finished going through our entire gallery and I'm blown away. We loved Jessie and Moira so much we hired them twice: once to do our elopement and then again for our reception. Hiring J. La Plante was the BEST decision we made

Moira and Jesse were the absolute best to work with. Their work speaks for itself, but they went above and beyond what we expected of them. They were at the venue before us (scouting out locations and taking some scenery pics) and were literally the last 'guests' to leave at the end of the night. Even as we were dealing with a minor issue with the shuttle at the end of the night, Moria patiently waited for me to handle it before SHE DROVE me and my husband to a final location down the street that Jesse was already waiting at (scouting again!) to take a few more pictures of us. They then drove us back to the venue where we said our goodbyes. Another amazing aspect of working with them - we had about 30 edited and AMAZING pictures within 5 days of our wedding that they had given to us as a sneak peak while we waited for the rest! I have other friends who got married weeks before us that are still waiting on their photos. Lastly, I can't tell you how many people have told us these are the most incredible wedding photos they've EVER seen. And while biased, I totally agree :). So grateful we chose Jesse and Moira and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Beautiful photos! Wonderful people!

I did not want to spend alot of money on my photographer but after looking around I found that Jesse and Moira were different than other photographers. They not only make amazing products that are VERY different than other photographers but they also are wonderful people to have around. They work with you with everything you discuss and make sure you get amazing photos of your great day! BOTH of them ended up in freezing creeks on our wedding day to get the shot without us asking them to do this! I didn't think about the fact that your photographer would be next to you alot of the day and never thought about caring what my photographer was like as a person. This is actually quite important and they are WONDERFUL. The amazing photos also speak for themselves. They are well worth every penny (and really are reasonably priced for sure! I would have paid more!).

The best wedding photographers imaginable

We were looking for photographers that were adventurous and weren't going to take the typical wedding pictures. Moira and Jesse went above and beyond. We cannot recommend them enough. I don’t know how to do justice to these two incredibly talented and genuine people.

From the start I knew I wanted something other than the traditional, posed, and somewhat cheesy photos that you usually see from weddings. When I came across J. La Plante, I was instantly enamoured with the photos on their website. They got back to me within a day and availability and my (now) husband and I actually changed our wedding date so that we could work with them. We are so glad that we did, it was the absolute best decision for our wedding! We Skyped with Moira and Jesse, got along instantly, and put our blind faith in them to do what they do best. All of the photos, from getting dressed to the ceremony and our couples shots are gorgeous, I only wish we had more. They also came up with the idea for a water balloon fight at the wedding, and it was not only so much fun for us and our guests, but we got some stunning photos as a result.

If you’re looking for amazing photos shot by equally amazing people, you cannot go wrong with J. La Plante. Jesse and Moira, thank you so much, John and I are nothing short of grateful, and are looking forward to seeing y’all soon when we’re in Denver!

I would be lying if I said I had thought it made sense to have folks fly from Colorado to Rhode Island to shoot our wedding … but I am honest enough to admit that my spouse, who insisted it had to be them was RIGHT. Jesse and Moira are simply AMAZING! When I planned my wedding, photos were my number one priority. I looked through so many blogs and packages, looking for photos that were beautiful, interesting, dynamic, and candid and natural. I came across the photos of J. La. Plante and was so impressed! Their blog was full of photos that had all of these elements, for EVERY SINGLE WEDDING they shot. I contacted them right away and they were so incredibly easy to work with. We booked them pretty far out ( over a year) and THEY were the ones that kept me on track when it came closer to the wedding date. They checked in several times and made sure that everything was organized and prepared before the wedding day to ensure that I would get all the shots I wanted as well as that things would run smoothly. Moira was super responsive, listening to my wants and was so patient throughout all my additions to the photo list. As the date grew closer, I was worried that my wedding, which was in a lot of ways different from a typical wedding, ( no bridal party, food truck, yard games, DIYed) would have a hard time translating into some of the pictures that I was really looking for BUT I was worried about nothing because the photos turned out well beyond my greatest expectations! Jesse and Moira scouted out my venue, found the perfect spots, and was an overall pleasure to work with. They were able to perfectly capture the feeling of our day from not only our point of view, but also from all of the guests and they picked up on all the elements of our wedding that had truly made it "ours" . I have no regrets about our wedding photos and LOVE them all! J. La. Plante was an absolute pleasure to work with and captured our day in the most perfect way! Look no further - you've found the absolute BEST wedding photographers out there! Jesse and Moira were such a pleasure to work with from the very first moment I sent an email inquiring about booking their services, to the moment the wedding reception was nearing an end and we said our goodbyes.

When we were looking for our wedding photographer, it was very important to us that our pictures were not staged. Of course, you're always going to have the (mandatory) family photos that are staged, but 95% of their work was done, catching spontaneous moments throughout the day. It was also incredibly important to us to have two people shooting, as we didn't want to miss any of the groom's nor my moments leading up to the first look and the ceremony. Jesse and Moira managed to capture so many absolutely amazing moments! They both have such a unique eye for detail and perspective, which I feel sets them apart from any other photographer I have ever come into contact with. They converse, they make you laugh, and they provide an all-around comfortable atmosphere while they're capturing the special moments throughout your day. While we have NO intention of getting married again (!!!), we're already trying to come up with ways to do a shoot with J. La Plante Photo again someday! :)

My Wife and I had an amazing time working with Jesse and Maura at J. La Plante Photo. They photographed our wedding a couple years ago at the Schupe Homestead in Colorado. They are an incredibly talented team and exceeded our expectations. When we were planning our wedding we looked into a couple different photographers but for the quantity and quality of photos they offer they are worth every dollar they charge. They can easily do traditional photos that look amazing but also what helps set them apart is their artistic ability with nighttime photos. Hire them and you wont regret it!

Hiring Jesse and Moira was hands down the best decision we ever made when planning our wedding! They're the real deal. They are a real couple, with real unique ideas and a real passion for the art of photography. It all started with our fun engagement session that captured three of our favorite things: Mountains, dogs, and beers. Who wouldn't love that? All of our favorite things :) On our wedding day, we were both extremely worried about the weather. It was ridiculously cold for June and waking up to rain and fog isn't every bride's dream. They assured us that the lighting was perfect for photos and they were so right. Once the fog finally cleared, they were able to capture a beautiful moment between my husband and I and the photograph was even more incredible than moment itself. To this day, people still ask us if it is a painting because it looks that incredibly real and vivid. The lighting and mountainous back drop is absolutely perfect. Sometimes we look at the picture and think, "Is that really us?" It looks like it belongs in a magazine, no joke! Not to mention that they were seamless. They captured the raw emotion of the events, the people and the memories that were created that day. Some of our favorite pictures are the candid shots that we didn't even notice were being taken. We couldn't have been happier with them and their outstanding work!

Jesse and Moira were all that and then some. We had many different locations to juggle between for getting ready, first look, portraits and family... not to mention the wedding itself. Not only were they ushering us between locations, but they arrived a day early to scout everything out and plan the shots they needed. In addition to keeping things moving to schedule, they were very easygoing and fun to work with. And the quality of their work speaks for itself.

At the wedding ceremony they were never intrusive, always staying out of the way and letting events happen naturally. We have a bunch of shots we never would have thought to request but paint the picture of our big day. It was fantastic to work with Jesse and Moira. A++ would recommend to anyone.

By far, hands down, no question our favorite vendor we used at our wedding!! Jesse and Moira are not only spectacular photographers with the most unique perspective and "voice" as photographers but they are great people. So easy to work with, personable yet professional. They were the people I was least worried about throughout our wedding day. They always come with new, innovative ideas to really capture what makes your relationship unique. You will NOT get generic wedding photos, but gorgeous and epic moments coupled with the smallest details. They were always on point with communication, letting us know timelines, when to expect our photos to be ready etc. which was so refreshing. Jesse and Moira were more than we ever could have hoped for. They captured our wedding so completely and vibrantly. Scrolling through the sneak peek photos brought tears to our eyes as we re-lived our wedding through the moments they captured. I’ve shared the photos with co-workers, friends, and pretty much anyone else who will listen and they say the same two things, “These are the most spectacular wedding photos I’ve ever seen” and “I feel like I was there.” People told my husband Kacey and I that our wedding day would fly by, and they’re right, it did. Jesse and Moira were beyond wonderful. So accommodating, calm, creative, and a true pleasure to work with. They were on point and on time the entire day/night. They put so much effort into planning each moment and didn't let my husband or I worry a single bit. The best part for us was when they snuck us out in the middle of the party to take some intimate night photos. We chose to contact Jesse and Moira after a raving review from a friend. They were extremely responsive and willing to meet up with us to talk about our day and what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. After booking then, we had an additional meeting to talk about the specific events of the wedding day. They had a full schedule outlined and had some ideas for photo locations but would still be up at our venue a day early to scout out additional locations.
It was so relieving to let them take charge on the wedding day to coordinate first look shots, wedding party shots, family shots, etc. It was so great not to have to think about it.
We could not be happier with the quality and style of the photos, and having digital rights to every shot was a huge plus. They did such an amazing job capturing our day and were worth every penny. Our favorite shots were the ones taken outside at night. They have a great eye to create the perfect lighting for the most memorable photos.
We just received the photo book that was included in our package and can't speak highly enough of its quality. It is beautiful and they did a wonderful job selecting the perfect photos for it.
We have been recommending these photographers to every couple we know planning a wedding.

Jesse and Moira were absolutely fantastic. They were very reasonably priced, flexible, responsive and fun to work with. We were drawn in by their amazing landscape captures for other weddings/events (we had a mountain wedding) and their candid shots of guests. They delivered better photos than I could have imagined. I had been a little emotional the day before, so I had puffy eyes but they made me look gorgeous. Also, they are conscious of the entire day. They kept everything on time and still got all the shots we wanted and more! I cannot recommend them more. My brother is getting married soon and we will definitely be contacting Jesse again (even for a destination). They are well worth it!!!

You must have Jesse and Moira as your photographer for your wedding!!

I was a little nervous about selecting a photographer. When the memory of the day starts to fade, you are left with your photos to remember the day so you want to have top quality photos. Plus, you will be spending a lot of your time with your photographer so you want someone who will put you at ease and who you will enjoy being around. Jesse and Moira are the photographers for you. Not only are their photos AMAZING, Jesse and Moira are pure professionals. They go over and above just being a vendor with helping out with those unexpected moments that you can't plan for. They don't just sit back but help out if an extra pair of hands are needed. They fade into the background the day of the wedding and capture every moment. My husband and I always feel a little awkward being the center of attention and Jesse and Moira have a way of making you feel comfortable and at ease. It was like hanging out with friends, the tension and nervousness just melts away.

Jesse and Moira are the best! They are such a fun and friendly couple. They accommodated our tight schedule when booking our engagement pictures and always emailed us back right away if we had questions! We had seen their work before, so we knew the pictures would be amazing - but we were absolutely blown away once we saw the final product from our wedding. We hardly even noticed them hard at work during our wedding, as they blended right in, and even with a little rain they were able to work around it and get in all our group photos and some spectacular spur-of-the-moment couple photos. They truly helped give us a unique set of pictures to help us cherish our wedding and engagement forever - and made the experience so much fun as well. We would recommend them to anyone!

We ultimately decided on J. La Plante after combing through a number of other Colorado photographers whom we thought were very 'ok'. We decided on Jesse and Moira because we wanted the very best! Even with that said, J. La Plante still ended up beating the price for our second and third choices for photographer. Jesse went out of his way to call us the evening after our meeting to share with us a special package he tailored just for our needs that met our price.

We choose J. La Plante in particular for the cool strobe effect they demonstrated in many of their sample pictures; outlining the subject of the photo with a background burst of light. We also prioritized not having an album of mostly 'staged' looking photos with subjects staring directly into the camera, as we noticed in example albums from many other photographers. Jesse and Moira were masterful at catching the best of candid and 'natural' looking photos.

During our wedding day Jesse and Moira played a key role in helping coordinate and solving some logistical issues in making our special day go smoothly...all the while taking amazing pictures! They utilized the experience and skill they developed photographing for numerous other weddings.

Jesse and Moira spare nothing, once they have a vision, to execute the perfect shot. Moira was able to get businesses to grant us access to needed facilities (for our engagement shoot). Jesse didn't hesitate to take off his shoes, hike up his pants, and wade into a lake to hover his (probably extremely expensive camera) an inch above the water to make it appear as though Julie and I were standing on an endless beach by the ocean....in the middle of Colorado!

Now that were done and married, we're hearing about other couples who are asking for similar photo-shoots taken based off what they saw in our albums! J. La Plante really made us feel like celebrities!

As a professional photographer myself and mother of the groom, picking a stellar photographer was vitally important. I vividly recall meeting Jesse and Moira at the bridal show as their work stood out from all the rest-literally I was drawn to it. They were both incredibly easy to talk with and their pride and passion for their work was clearly evident. Later, they met with my now daughter in law and me (my son was out of the country on business) at the picked wedding venue and both fully answered/tolerated all my questions about their photography equipment, philosophy and style. Fortunately, they agreed to photograph an engagement shoot and the wedding despite me!

They both have a methodical workflow leaving no detail left undone and that combined with Jesse and Moira being gifted, talented , artistic, punctual, unique and professional photographers results in stunningly gorgeous images. During the wedding they are able to capture all special moments all the while being inconspicuous. Their images take you right back to that wondrous, monumental day and you know that they've "hit one out of the park" when EVERYONE that sees them LOVES them!!!

Jesse and Moira are a great team who captured some amazing moments at our wedding. Looking through the pictures afterward, my husband and I couldn't remember how they even managed to get some of the shots--they blend into the background of the wedding that well! We would absolutely use them again, and think other people should too. They listened to our ideas of what we wanted and made suggestions for how to adapt them to our location. Jesse and Moira were so great from start to finish! We live out of town and they were both so accommodating, first designing a custom package for a budget then with our schedules to have phone chats and then to meet when I was in town on short notice. Moira helped us set up our entire day from minute to minute and kept us on track without ever making us feel rushed. The photos are absolutely beautiful and we just got our album and we are just blown away!

Our story it isn't a perfect fairy tale wedding story. However, our photographer's craftsmanship tells a different story. Jesse and Moira are BEYOND amazing photographers. They're amazing people. Jesse and Moira flew into Boston several days beforehand, easing any fears I had of them not becoming familiar with the area and venue. They surveyed the land and took a walk around our 90 acre farm to find 'prime shooting locations'. The duo needed very little attention from me, and were independent on the morning of the wedding, professionally navigating their way around the property and through guests. I was a barrel of emotions on our wedding day in August. Jesse and Moira were there for us every step of the way. In the morning, despite the pouring rain- Moira kept me happy and calm while she clicked away at the details and kept my bridesmaids and I moving (it's easy to get sidetracked when there's a bunch of women in your tiny apartment) and Jesse captured all of the special moments with 'the boys'. When things seemed to go awry, I found myself turning to Moira and asking for her advice. She handled each scenario I brought to her with professionalism and grace. As the day went on and a handful of alarming events took place (including but not limited to an ambulance arriving for a family member), Jesse and Moira became beacons for solace. They kept us smiling and moving, and ensured they captured beautiful moments we didn't even know were happening. At one point, while we were walking in the rain, I turned to Jesse and Moira and I told them that I didn't know if I could've done the day without them. Now, as I peruse our gorgeous wedding album, I still feel the same way. They captured the fairy tale wedding we didn't even quite realize we were having. Your wedding day is going to be complex and full of surprises (hopefully all good!)... there is no question on whom I recommend to take this journey with you and your to-be. Perfect team, perfect photos.

My husband and I continue to be over the moon happy with our wedding photos. J. La Plante Photo was without a doubt our favorite vendor that we worked with at our wedding. Jesse and Moira captured all the moments so beautifully. Their photos are spectacular. In addition, they are super easy and flexible to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made photos stress free. We found them very reliable as they responded to all our emails and phone calls promptly. They have a nice laid back and professional approach which makes them a pleasure to be around the day of the wedding. They produce unique images that perfectly balance natural clarity and storybook ambiance by means of highlighting creative environmental details and revealing the realistic beauty of their subjects. For my wife and me, this meant that she did not cry seeing our wedding through her own eyes, but she cried when she saw our wedding through the images of Jesse and Moira. Their heartfelt, honest, and downright beautiful captures are a result not only of their technical and creative prowess, but of their gift of reaching people at their individual comfort levels throughout the wedding day. Here, you will appreciate that Jesse and Moira are not only able to see people from behind a lens, but they are able to connect with people without using a lens. This connection creates photographic opportunity that would not be available to other photographers and Jesse and Moira capitalize on it -- providing to you images that are unrivalled. Honestly, I feel sorry for other wedding photographers that lack this communicative gift and must resort to pulling at their guests like a puppeteer or corralling them with bullhorn-like tactics. I feel even more sorry for brides and grooms that are at the mercy of these tactics because they didn’t consider how much choosing photographers could impact their wedding day. We met Jesse and Moira at a Bridal Show about a year before our wedding. If you've been to a bridal show you know there are tons of photographers all wanting you to book with them. My husband and I talked to several. They handed us their brochures and shuffled us along not wanting to miss potential business walking by. None of them stood out, they all blended together and none made us feel good.

Then we met Jesse and Moira! We were first in awe of the amazing photography hanging in their booth. Their photos stood out! They were different in a great way! After talking to Moira for a few minutes I knew they were different. They didn't try to shuffled us along, they answered our questions, told us a little about their background and how it helps the in photography. Meeting them was sort of like finding "the dress". We knew they were it!

I was impressed with Jesse and Moira's planning leading up to the wedding. We met so we could tell them about a few wedding day surprises that we wanted captured. Jesse and Moira worked up a timeline and scouted the venue for great places to photograph. Moira called me with a few follow questions to make sure everything was perfect.

The day of the wedding was perfect. Moira and Jesse were in the background and captured the day perfectly. They didn't miss a thing and the images are beautiful candid reminders of our day. It's been three months since our wedding and I look at our pictures daily! They are beautiful!

I can't say enough good things about Jesse and Moira and would highly recommend them!

Choosing Jesse and Moira as our wedding photographers was hands down the best decision we made! Not only were they kind, very knowledgeable, and fun, they were also extremely easy to work with. Instead of telling us how things would be, they asked us about our vision, wishes, and what we did and did not want. When it came to our actual wedding day, they definitely surpassed every expectation that we had - if something came up or we wanted something different than what had originally been decided upon, they had no objections to the change(s) and, despite the overwhelming amount of people they had to corral together for photos, they never seemed stressed and were always easy going, professional, and nice. Jesse and Moira did the photography at our destination wedding this past October in Mexico. I was thrilled that they were willing to travel that far since I have always been impressed with their work and always had hoped to hire them for my own wedding. Our wedding definitely showed how well prepared they are and how wonderful they are at what they do. We had a traditional Mayan ceremony on the beach. To be totally honest we didn't know what all the ceremony involved so everything was a surprise. There was so much going on between dancers, and the Shaman, and the guests that I felt like I was missing parts of the ceremony while it was happening, but Jesse and Moira didn't miss a beat of our wedding. If I hadn't known better I would have said that they had photographed a Mayan ceremony before because they captured everything so perfectly while also being extremely discrete. We only had a few poses in mind and left the ideas of the other photos up to them since that is what they do after all. Each and every picture came out beautifully and we could not be happier with them. They started with the "getting ready" photos and did not stop capturing our day until after our night shoot on the beach. This was exceptionally important to us as not all of our friends and family were able to make it to our wedding so now we can show them all of our pictures that tell the story of our special day. I definitely recommend them, trust me you will not be dissapointed!

From the very moment that I spoke to Jesse and Moira photo booth at a Bridal show I immediately knew they would be the perfect photographers for our Aspen, Colorado wedding. They both have a positive energy, a great vibe and both were truly artist. Throughout the entire process of scheduling photo shoots, making payments and finalizing details, they were both very professional and immedialtey responsive to calls, text and emails.

The day of the wedding, they were professionally dressed, blended in with our guest and in all honesty, I think they had as much fun as the guest and ourselves! After receiving our digital photos we found that they were were able to capture some of the most amazing moments of our sweet dog, and the entire wedding event.

I am sooo in LOVE with the pictures from my wedding!! I absolutely could not have been happier with how they turned out! Jesse and Moira traveled all the way to Michigan for our wedding and were so wonderful! They were professional but really fun and flexible too! Jesse was willing to travel to our wedding location in the mountains at no extra cost. He stayed two hours later for us when we needed him to and allowed us to settle up the bill after our honeymoon, at which point we were already able to get DVDs of our photos. He and his partner Moira were very professional, while still remaining friendly and enthusiastic.

We LOVE the photos that Jesse and Moira took! When we were planning our very small (25 person) wedding, at first I didn't think that we would need 2 photographers, but I am SO glad that we had two and especially glad that we picked Jesse and Moira. We have amazing photos of small details (flowers, rings, food) and also stunning photos of the overall scene and mountain backdrop. They were both very calm and easy going and friendly and professional, and answered all of our questions thoroughly no matter how small or silly the question. Jesse responded to emails very quickly, usually within the hour.

During the wedding, I hardly noticed they were there but they took so many amazing photos. We love all of them, and have received so many compliments! Jesse posted several photos within 24 hours, and we received the high resolution photos in just 10 days. We really couldn't be happier with the photos and the service, and he was very reasonably priced as well.

We used Jesse and Moira as our wedding photographers. We do not have enough words to describe how great our photos turned out, and what great people they are to work with. They have such great personalities and were so easy to get along with.
I was big on meeting the vendors before actually hiring them, to make sure they fit into our vision and our personalities. Jesse was awesome enough to meet with us in Brighton where we live. Which was huge for us, it’s a lot planning a wedding. We drove all around town meeting all our other vendors. So it was so great that he came to us. I looked at many photographers online, and contacted about six that we narrowed it down to. However, Jesse was the first and only photographer we met with, we knew after meeting him and seeing his work. That he was exactly what we were looking for. Whenever contacting Jesse, he was very prompt with responding right away. Which every bride knows it just puts your mind at ease, and makes it easier to plan not having to worry about whether or not you are going to get a response from a vendor.
They did an outstanding job capturing all our special moments. Jesse had our photos to us quickly; he even delivered them to our house. We order a metal print to hang on our wall, it turned out beautifully. We are actually getting ready to order a second one as soon as we decide on a photo, since there are so many great ones to choose from. We cannot thank them enough for what a great job they did. We would highly recommend using them as your wedding photographers.

Jesse did a wonderful job at our wedding that was held at the Denver Botanic Gardens in September of 2009. We were so consumed with figuring out last minute details and entertaining family that we never ended up deciding where we wanted to take pictures, especially since there were so many beautiful options throughout the gardens. Luckily, Jesse had many ideas and knew where the light would be great and where it wouldn't. It was so nice to be able to follow his lead and decide along the way which areas we liked the best. We ended up having so many wonderful pictures to choose from and the photography was one detail we didn't have to worry about at all.

We hired Jesse La Plante for a destination wedding in 2008. He was flexible with the travel and patient with many last minute changes. It rained the day of our beach wedding which required some frantic (stressful) alterations to the plans and Jesse was calm, patient and patient. despite absolute chaos. What I adore about our wedding pictures as I look back at them is that his candid photos are absolutely stunning as they tell the story of that day in a graceful and authentic visual. Jesse was skilled at moving smoothly and subtly about the festivities, gaining access to photo opportunities I did not even think ahead to ask him for. He was a true professional without being overly obtrusive. We were (and still are) thrilled with the resulting photographs and I receive compliments on the wedding photos that hang in my house to this day.

These guys were the best. their photos are beautiful. My favorite part was going through them all and seeing things i never even knew happened and ones i did i have pictures from kids playing in the grass to our first kiss as husband and wife. i can not describe how amazing they truly are. i hardly even knew they were there. Jesse had great suggestions on posies for us and well its hard to pick my favorites. all i know is he will be our photographer for life ( I hope he dose baby pictures).

Jesse and Moira photographed our wedding in Boulder and two years later I couldn't be happier with the result. They responded well to my request that they get natural - candid photos. They followed us halfway up the mountain to do our "nature" shots. They didn't have any problem with my mom taking control at times and just were there at all the right moments. But the absolute best part was that they came to my house THE DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING with two complete dvds of every photo they took PLUS selected beautiful photos with some photo correction. The price was fair and I have never heard of another photographer that got the photos to you that fast.

Jesse and Moira did an amazing job at our wedding. Jesse la plante photography was recommended by a friend. They ended up photographing my mom's wedding, my sister's wedding and then ours. They were flexible and relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. Jesse is prompt in communicating about the wedding, happy to help in anyway and takes amazing photos. By the next day, Jesse had already gotten us a couple of photos and we had our DVD with all of our pictures within 2 days of the wedding! I would recommend him for any event!

We used Jesse (and Moira) for our engagement photos as well as for the wedding. Great photos from each. Made great suggestions, but never bossy or pushy. A wonderful team! Highly recommended!

Working with Jesse and Moira was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. After meeting them at a wedding expo and chatting with them, we decided to meet at a coffee shop to get a closer look at his work and talk about what we were looking for -they drove down from Boulder to Denver to meet us near our home. My then fiance-now-lifepartner and I (we are two women) were instantly at ease with Jesse and Moira both - they compliment each other's personalities well - Jesse is more the quiet and brilliant artist who prefers to focus on the work as much as possible. Moira is the public relations part of the team - she always knew just what to say and is a superb listener, even mind-reader at times! The fact that we are a same-sex couple was truly a non-issue for these two; they could not have been more authentically supportive, congratulatory and gracious. On the wedding day itself, it was actually kind of FUN walking around, talking with both of them while Jesse snapped shots and Moira kept us smiling and relaxed! Both of them are wonderfully laid back and unflustered by wedding stressors; they kept a sense of humor throughout and did a great job politely corralling the family members for the group shots. And, of course, the most *amazing* part of the entire experience working with Jesse and Moira was seeing the photos just a few days after the wedding... We were blown away, no joke. Our photos are out of this world, and we could not be happier with them. This was the most worthwhile expenditure of our entire wedding budget - and even though Jesse gave us a fantastic deal since our wedding was actually on a Monday - knowing what we know now after working with him, we would be willing to pay much more!! You would not be disappointed working with JLP - we are so grateful for his skill and artistry in capturing our most-important day. Thank you Jesse and Moira!!

Jesse was great. We had an initial meeting and went over what we needed. He was willing to travel all the way out to Steamboat for our wedding and took photos of the entire day. Most of the day we didn't notice that he and Moira were darting in and out snapping shots.

If you want a personal photojournalist to capture your wedding as it unfolds I would highly recommend Jesse.

Jesse and Moira were absolute fantastic! They are knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and above all so TALENTED! Your photographers are some of the most important people on your wedding day because you will interact with them the most. Jesse and Moira have a wonderful ability to make you feel comfortable around them and they have this talent to capture your most authentic moments and feelings of the day. We will cherish our wedding photos for years to come. They are so beautiful and unique! I cannot say enough about how amazing these individuals are. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for truly fantastic wedding photos.

We absolutely loved having Moira and Jesse photograph our wedding. Not only were they professional and extremely good at what they do, they were also fun to hang out with and a pleasure to have around the day of our wedding. We chose them after seeing a friends wedding photos on FaceBook. We got married at sunset on November 22nd and I wanted someone who had experience photographing sunset or night shots and Jesse La Plante Photography absolutely did. Our photos turned out beautiful and even better than we though considering the weather was not cooperating with us. What Jesse and Moira captured with the wind and clouds was spectacular and we fell in love with the photos the minute we saw them. They also did a panoramic of the city scape view from our venue and included it in our photo album. We will definitely be calling them again for family photos and baby photos when our little bundle of joy arrives in May. Thanks Jesse and Moira for being a part of our wedding day and capturing the memories so beautifully.

Wedding photography is so tricky. For our wedding, I wanted to make sure we had photos with our family and friends, but I had basically resigned myself to thinking that the pictures would be cheesy and posed regardless of who I hired as my photographer. I can't overstate how very pleased I am to be totally wrong.

Jesse and Moira are a warm, friendly and professional team. They responded to all of my emails promptly, and when I was flaky about sending in signed contracts, they gently reminded me to do it. Well before my wedding day they compiled a list of my family members and bridal party and talked to me about how I envisioned the day going. By the week of my wedding I could happily forget about everything photography related and focus on everything else.

I don't remember a lot about taking photographs the day of the wedding except that Jesse and Moira had everything figured out. They showed up early to scout locations for the posed photos, they made an order, and they were totally in charge. I also remember that after posed photos were finished, Jesse and Moira stealthily photographed the reception. They never disrupted the celebration, but I was vaguely aware of them always being there.

My wedding day was a blur. What I like most about my photographs is that they put everything in context. I can identify the exact moment every photo was taken, and they really capture the spirit of the day. I especially love the pictures of Ken from before the ceremony. I wasn't with him, but I can feel his nervousness and excitement through the images.

I also love how quickly I had my photographs. I know people sometimes wait months. I had mine in a couple of weeks.

Jesse Laplante photography is great. We had the photography and added the photobooth for the reception and it was great! We had a blast with the photobooth and so did our guests. Thank you Jesse and Mora for being such great people we really felt like you fit in with our group really well. The only minor thing I would have wanted corrected would have been to have a little direction with posing and ideas of different views with different people to do instead of doing it ourselves. Some of the pictures might have been a little more unique from a photographer stand point. Thank you for everything though we loved everything!!!

Photography was very important to me and I searched through many portfolios before finding a photographer who had a style that I liked for my wedding. Jesse has a background in photojournalism and I found the artistic approach he took with candid photographs the perfect way to document our wedding day. He did not disappoint us and provided a beautiful collection of photographs of the wedding that we love. The only minor detail that could have been improved is during the wedding I wanted advice on where to stand and the grouping of family pictures he told me that it was my wedding and I should tell him. Other than that, he was great and friendly and I would definitely choose him as my photographer again.
