Working with Jason leading up to, on our wedding day, and afterwards for our photo reveal was an absolute pleasure! Jason's professionalism and attention to detail is unmatched and from the moment we first met, it was clear we were in good hands. Jason went above and beyond - taking the time to get to know us as a couple, what our priorities for our wedding day were, and what moments were on our "must capture" list. He was receptive to suggestions for where we wanted to take our family and bridal party portraits and was extremely flexible and accommodating day-of.
Every step of the way, Jason seemed to have everything under control. After our ceremony, we only had 20 minutes to take photos at the church before another wedding was scheduled to start. Jason took what could have been a rushed and stressful experience and made it feel effortless. Throughout the entire day Jason was a calming presence. There’s bound to be things that don’t go according to plan on your wedding day, but when we hit those snags Jason was quick to adapt and reassure us that we’d work things out. He was relaxed under pressure and is exactly the kind of person you want on your side.
Since our wedding, family and friends have commented that it felt like Jason and his assistant were “everywhere” – there was a photographer present every time you turned around. When we got our photos back, we found gorgeous parallel shots where while one photographer was capturing a special moment between us, the other was capturing the looks on the faces of our families. They didn’t miss a thing!
We are overjoyed with how our photos turned out and are so appreciative to have had Jason be a part of our wedding day! -

Captured the BEST sides of us
Jason was absolutely amazing to work with! From the start, he was so easygoing, professional, and organized, which made the entire experience stress-free. On the wedding day, he blended in so seamlessly that we hardly even noticed he was there — yet somehow he managed to capture every moment beautifully. He has such a calm, kind presence that put everyone at ease and made taking photos feel completely natural.
We were blown away by how quickly we received our edited photos — our full wedding gallery was ready in less than three weeks! Every image was stunning, from the big moments to the quiet, candid ones. Jason even stayed past his scheduled time to capture some of our after-party fun, which meant so much to us. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. -

It was the perfect balance of him having ideas of what to do and going with the flow of the day. We LOVED all of our photos from the engagement and wedding and could not be happier with them! We absolutely LOVED having Jason as our photographer for our wedding! Not only was he a joy to work with, but our photos turned out amazing! He worked with us to make sure anything and everything we wanted to have captured WAS captured. He is the absolute best! Also, ordering photos of all different sizes off of the website was a breeze! They came to the house so secure we did not worry about anything! He also makes keeping the photos a breeze by having the ability to download them! 10/10 we do recommend! -

Jason was absolutely fantastic and the perfect photographer for our small wedding! From the initial contract discussion to delivering the final photo package, he was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He helped us plan the perfect photo locations ahead of time and captured the most stunning moments of our day. On top of that, he made the entire experience fun and effortless—especially for our kids, who genuinely enjoyed the shoots! Jason was an absolute DREAM to work with. He made us feel SO comfortable the whole time - making us laugh and smile throughout the entire day. His photos are so GENUINE- they really capture the happiness of the day, which is my favorite part of his style. He doesn't go for posed, stiff stances. He captures the true love, joy, and laughter going on throughout the wedding. He was also respectful of everyone's time- quickly getting family members in and out for group photos. -

Jason was an absolute blast to work with. He is super professional, very open to fun ideas, and just allowed Mike and I to be ourselves and play. We loved his perfect balance of dramatic and candid photos, and knew he would be perfect for our fun engagement photo idea. He was very much on board with our idea, and even found the perfect backdrop, and a perfect hidden spot for a very romantic/dramatic pose. He has such a strong eye for creative and gorgeous shots. When it came to our wedding day, the professional-fun streak continued. He and his second shooter Adam, were a dynamic duo. We didn’t have a super strong vision for a first-look location, (we just said Grant Park) but he found the perfect location just from our hotel window. He was eager to capture images, he would check in with us and the wedding team, and captured some gorgeous park photos, some quirky moments, and even some dramatic photos in the venue. We absolutely love our photos, and our guests/family members are blown away as well. He is the perfect photographer if you want to play, be dramatic, be a little goofy, but also know he will capture those sweet emotions. Thank you Jason and team -

After working with Jason for our engagement and wedding photos, we cannot recommend him enough. Initially we were impressed by photos Jason had done for a friend’s wedding- after glowing reviews from that couple we decided to reach out to him. It was immediately clear why our friends were so impressed. Working with Jason was an absolute pleasure- from the first meeting until the last Jason remained professional, easy to work with, and an overall cool guy. He made our engagement session easy and fun- despite neither of us being particularly camera friendly. On our wedding day he was a calming and considerate presence. We’ve heard nothing but consummate praise for our photos. The pictures tell the full story of our wedding day and we are so grateful to have these memories captured. -

We got married in October and Jason was the best! He and his assistants were very professional while also being fun and nice. Taking so many pictures can be uncomfortable at times but they made everything feel comfortable and flow with the wedding day. Jason is very organized and will make sure you have all the pictures you want, and you can be sure they will be gorgeous. We absolutely love the pictures and going through them now bring back all the emotion and joy we felt that day. My sister is getting married in August and she already booked him for her wedding as well. His work is fantastic and we are happy we found him to tell our story on the best day of our lives. -

When we first met with him we were not 100% sure a photographer was in our budget, but after the meeting we knew that if it was, we had found our guy. He was super personable, we really felt comfortable talking with him and felt like he heard us, and he was great with reviewing pricing and packages. As cheesy as they can be, I love the "getting ready" photos and Jason and his team got awesome photos of my husband and I with our family and friends. Directly before our wedding it stormed like crazy, and we had to do most of our photos indoors, but it was a fun experience and we got some great shots. We even ran out in the rain with umbrellas as a rainbow was coming out and those are some of my favorites! Jason got some great family portraits, and he captured the fun of the reception. I was hopeless at walking down the isle, but I laughed the whole way and those are some of my favorite shots from the wedding ceremony itself. Couldn't recommended more. We were thrilled with the results.

He goes with the flow which showed when our February engagement shoot was rainy and cold vs the snow that we wanted. The pictures turned out amazing and we received many compliments on them. On our wedding, Jason captured all of the moments that we saw and didn't see. He was there for the in the moment opportunities without even being noticed. It was magical to see our photos come to life in his studio presentation of them. He is truly a professional, easy to work with, and made it fun. I wish that Jason could be at all of our life events to capture the real life moments.

Choosing a photographer was one of our hardest decisions till I met with Jason, I knew immediately with talking to him and looking through his portfolio books that he would be amazing. He has such a creative eye for photography, it is a special talent. Jason and his crew captured the moments of emotion of joy, laughter, and love with such a beautiful journalistic eye that looking back through them brings back all the emotions of those moments in time of the crazy amazing fairy tail day that seemed to go by so quickly but now with these photos we can relive those moments with just a glance. Jason was great to work with he was flexible with scheduling and even made sure that he could still accommodate us when we had to move up our wedding date. His professionalism and creativity puts you at ease with confidence that he is capturing the moments in an amazing way. We can't stop looking through our wedding photos, it is so hard to choose what photos we want to print since there are SO MANY AMAZING PHOTOS! J.BrownPhotography was worth every penny and more! Corinne Sent on 02/04/2011Jason is such a talented photographer! Working with him was fantastic - we were thrilled with our engagement pictures and have only seen 2 of the wedding day images, but I expect they will truely be impressive.
Jason is very easy to work with and is accomodating to all requests. We never had a problem getting a hold of him for questions for scheduling. He was considerate to all of our guests and was present without being in the way for all of the day's moments. I am certain that I'll have great pictures to share with family and friends of the best memories of the night.
As for Jason's photo packages they are comprehensive and a great value. We loved the photo guest book and are happy to have the rights to all of the images too.
