I hired Izzy B to do my bridal makeup and makeup for my wedding party! She was amazing and did such a good job. Everyone loved their look and I couldn’t be happier with her services. She was also so sweet and fun to work with. Highly recommend her! -

I received several recommendations for makeup artists in the NOVA area, and Brittany stood out by being able to accommodate the number of girls in my wedding party. She was incredibly easy to communicate with and such a joy to work with. Rather than relying on photos for inspiration, she asked me to envision how I wanted to look on my wedding day. She brought that vision to life, making me feel like the most beautiful bride I could have ever imagined. Brittany was an absolute pleasure to have with us on my wedding morning, and I truly couldn’t imagine anyone else in her place. I highly recommend her exceptional talent! -

Truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of make up, I wasn't even sure what to ask for at my trial. Brittany made me feel so comfortable and was so easy to talk to. It's like she read my mind and gave me a super natural glowing, elevated version of myself. On the day of the wedding she was on time, efficient and made my mom and all of my girls look stunning. I would 1000% recommend her make up services to any bride in the DVM area. -

I had the honor of working with Brittany at my wedding last weekend, and I truly could not have been happier. She has been fantastic to work with from start to finish. When she came to my apartment for my makeup trial, I immediately knew I had found the right person. She has an extremely calming presence and made me feel comfortable right away. On my wedding day, she brought that same energy, and my bridesmaids and mom were just as obsessed with her as I was! She made me feel so beautiful and confident, and the rest of my bridal party looked absolutely breathtaking as well. She did an amazing job enhancing everyone’s natural beauty, and nothing was too heavy-handed or harsh (which is exactly what we wanted!). She is SO sweet and talented, and I would 1000000% recommend her to everyone!

Hiring Brittany for my wedding was one of the best decisions- she is absolutely AMAZING! Brittany is truly one of the most friendly and down to earth people I have come across. Throughout the whole process, Brittany was professional and responsive to all communication and put me at ease. During my trial, Brittany took the time to understand the look I was envisioning for my wedding and completely nailed the look without even seeing an inspiration photo! On the day of the wedding, Brittany arrived early to set up and worked her magic on five different skin tones. Everyone’s makeup looked beautiful, natural, and made each person feel amazing. I had also broken out a couple of days prior and Brittany was able to cover it so well that I couldn’t even tell it was there! My makeup lasted perfectly throughout the entire night without any touch-ups needed. I couldn't recommend Brittany enough! -

2020 was a heck of a year to get married. My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to hold our 60 person ceremony and reception outdoors, but our day didn’t come without some hiccups to get there.
Brittany graciously stepped in as my MUA for me and my 4 bridesmaids just a few months before the big day. Brittany was quick to reply to all correspondence and put me at ease with the quick change, I could instantly tell by our emails we would get along! My trial was about a month before the big day, and as someone that had never had their makeup professionally done before I was excited and a little anxious. I felt an instant connection to Brittany and knew I was in great hands; everything sure does happen for a reason! My trial results were stunning! I had explained (not so eloquently) how I pictured myself on my wedding day and Brittany knocked it out of the park! I wore my full face and lashes to my work out that evening (I know, I know…eyeroll), but it was a great way to put it to the test of what would come to be a long night of [distanced] dancing on wedding day. Happy to report my full-face and lashes held up through 60 minutes of OrangeTheory. An extra bonus that day was meeting sweet Izzy!
Come wedding day, Brittany was set up and ready to go as our tornado of dresses and snacks flew into the bridal suite at our venue that morning. She followed every precaution while performing services and kept us on time through service for me, 4 bridesmaids and MOB. My mom had also never had makeup done, and we changed her from a la carte to a full face that day; Brittany went with the flow and made settling up then and there very easy. Makeup for all of us was done flawlessly! I felt like the very best version of myself on my wedding day, and that confidence is evident in all our photos. It was a little humid for our early evening, late September wedding I’m happy to share all products held up great through ceremony, photos and reception (even if my nerves didn’t!).
If you get a chance to book Brittany for your wedding or event, don’t hesitate!! -

Hire IzzyB makeup!!!!
I cannot say enough about Brittany! Hiring her for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made! I wanted a natural look and she made me feel so beautiful and exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day! She also did my mother and mother in law as well as my 10 bridesmaids makeup! Everyone LOVED their makeup in fact one of the girls has even hired her for her own wedding! One of my bridesmaids said she felt more beautiful that day than on her own wedding because of how amazing her makeup looked! Brittany is such a kind person. With her relaxing, sweet, easy going personality, we loved having her around on the morning of the wedding :) -

I cannot recommend Brittany enough. She is so incredibly talented at what she does. I absolutely loved my wedding makeup and received so many compliments! I didn’t have to say much and she knew exactly what I wanted. She did makeup for two of my best friends as well and they could not have been happier! She brought out the beauty in each of us. You couldn’t ask for a better person than Brittany to spend your wedding morning with either – she’s sweet, friendly, witty, and made me feel relaxed. She was also incredibly accommodating with our modified wedding plans due to Covid. Booking Brittany will (hands down) be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding! -

Beautiful Makeup Artist and Lovely Friend
Brittany did the most wonderful job on my makeup for my micro-wedding. Because it was a more understated event she crafted the most perfect combination of highlighting more natural beauty and bringing some glam to my look. She also made it such a relaxing time for me, ensuring that I ate and really focused in with her at the beginning of the day! I can't wait to work with her again for our rescheduled reception for next year!

Working with Brittany for over 2 years now, I can't recommend her enough. I had seen her work before I got engaged and as soon as my husband and I had a date she was the first person I reached out to. She is a wonderfully kind person, traveling all over the DMV area to help out COVID brides who unexpectedly lost their vendors through all the rescheduling, and incredibly talented with her craft. I've never felt so beautiful but also she taught me so much about my own makeup, eye shape, face shape etc. that I could hopefully apply my makeup half as well as she did for me on my wedding date.
I want to get married 7 more times if it means I could hang out with Brittany! -

Brittany is so amazing and I feel so grateful that I was able to hire her as my makeup artist for my wedding in December. Brittany brought such warm, vibrant energy to the day and made me and my wedding party look and feel gorgeous! Makeup and hair were at the hotel literally at the crack of dawn but Brittany was so kind and friendly and made the whole process feel seamless. As others have said, she is an expert in highlighting your true beauty, helping you shine even brighter with what you've got. My makeup lasted all night and looked great even through lots of tears and sweating on the dance floor. I can't recommend her services enough! -

Wonderful to work with and incredible skill!
Brittany was amazing to work with from start to finish! I highly recommend hiring her! As the bride, I loved how she made me look... it was exactly what I wanted, glamorous and still looked like me. She also did five bridesmaids and two moms, and everyone was so incredibly happy with their looks. I teared up when I saw my mom she made her look so beautiful, and my dad was like "oh hey" ;)

Choosing Brittany and Renee as our Makeup Artists was the BEST decision! They accentuated the natural beauty of each girl in my bridal party.
I wanted a natural glam look for my big day, and Brittany achieved it flawlessly. I constantly look back at photos from our wedding day and the only sad part of it, is that I don't have her here everyday to recreate that amazing look!
While I am a lover of the glamorous look, many of my bridesmaids were not as comfortable with different makeup looks. Brittany and Renee spoke with each of them about the vision they had for their makeup that day and turned that into a naturally flawless reality!
Aside from their amazing work, Brittany and Renee were SO MUCH FUN! They helped calm any nerves I had before walking down the aisle. Thank you Brittany and Renee!! -

I can't say enough good things about Brittany! Not only was she super quick in getting ELEVEN gals ready for my wedding, but everyone looked flawless. She is fabulous about getting to know her brides, how they style their makeup normally, and make sure that every person looks and feels like themselves. My entire bridal party was thrilled with the way that their makeup looked, and I can't say enough about how beautiful I felt on my wedding day.
Brittany is also a great person to have a conversation with! She was a blast to hang out with on one of the most specials days of my life. I will definitely be using her for any future events where I just want to look my best. -

Brittany is nothing short of incredible! When i reached out to secure her for my wedding she was extremely responsive and I had a signed contract within the day! For my trial she made me feel so at ease. Not only did she ask me how i wanted to look for
my wedding but she also asked to see photos of my dress as well as my vision board. How smart! We laughed and chatted for hours and it honestly felt like a Sunday with girlfriends! Plus, I looked like a bombshell! On my wedding day she and her associate arrived on time and worked seamlessly with my hair artists. They did makeup for 12 women plus me! And they managed to stay on time & everyone looked like goddesses! My crew ranged from teens to Moms, all eye colors, hair colors, skin types and Brittany and her associate listened to the wants of my girls and applied flawless makeup that lasted all night long and photographed beautifully! One of my bridesmaids even commented, “my skin has never looked so good!”
When I got in the chair we pulled up my photos from my trial and on the spot I asked for changes and she listened to me and NAILED IT! I never felt more radiant, more beautiful, and more confident! Brittany’s passion and expertise is unmatched! She’s so talented & to top it off she’s an amazing human!

While perusing Instagram for wedding inspiration, it seemed like every stunning photo I saw had @izzybmakeup tagged, so I knew I had to reach out. Lucky for me, she was available on our wedding date! Brittany with Izzy B Makeup was kind, thoughtful, funny, and professional throughout my entire planning process. I had so much fun doing my trials and of course getting ready on the big day with her. She is prompt and always smiling, she is very responsive, and of course extremely talented. I 10/10 would hire again. I could not be happier with how my makeup looked and photographed. She nailed the look I was going for without me even having to tell her exactly what I wanted - I felt absolutely beautiful but also felt that I still looked like myself. All of my bridesmaid looked incredible and had the same feelings. We got married on an unusally hot June day and my makeup held up throughout the whole night. Alicia Sent on 12/31/2017I cannot say enough good things about Brittany. I had the pleasure of having my makeup done as a bridesmaid and then as a bride by Brittany. As a bridesmaid we had to get our makeup done pretty early in the morning for a late afternoon wedding, but you would have never been able to tell as the makeup held up until the very end of the night as if she was with us throughout the day doing touch-ups. I was also impressed by Brittany's ability to do a large bridal party with such finesse. There were eight different people who had their makeup done in a short amount of time and she made each one feel like a VIP, did an amazing job and never once came across stressed. Fast forward to my own wedding when I had a lot of things that I was worried about, but what kept me at ease during those months was knowing that I would look like the beautiful bride that I had always dreamed of because Brittany was doing it; and she did not disappoint. We had not been able to do a trial, but I had full trust in her that she would give me the look that I wanted as well as the look that would work best for me and my tone/structure/etc. She is truly an artist and I would even go as far as to use the term a magician. I could not have looked any more comfortable or beautiful that day thanks to Brittany. What is even more amazing and that is not something you can put money on is her presence and ability to read a situation. My hair was taking longer than expected and the normal wedding jitters/being anxious to see my groom had finally caught up to me. Brittany must have been able to tell because she started asking me questions that she already knew the answers to, but knew that it was 1-stories I would be excited to tell and 2-it would keep my mind occupied from worrying about everything else. She may not have even realized what she did, but it is one of the memories that stand out from the most special day of my life.

Krystina Sent on 12/07/2017I found Izzy B Makeup through a friend and was Instagram-stalking her for awhile, so when I found out Brittany was available for my wedding, I was ecstatic! Brittany was a joy to work with - professional, friendly, responsive, and according to others, she made me look like I became a Disney princess, which is just downright amazing.
For my trial, I drove to her, and she had an army's worth of makeup - ready to try everything to see what would work best with my skin, coloring, and style. She took her time, learning the intricacies of my face (a chicken pox scar that can gather a lot of makeup, evening out my wonky-to-me eyes, figuring out the lashes that would work best with the shape of my eyes), which would help with knowing exactly what had to be done on the big day.
Speaking of the day of, Brittany arrived with the aforementioned army's worth of makeup and tackled all 8 of us with no time issues (thank goodness for a schedule!). She made all the ladies in my wedding party beautiful but still look like themselves (adjusting colors for those more natural or those that like a pop of color), including my mother and mother-in law. She was also able to make my MIL, who wears glasses and normally doesn't wear make up, feel pretty and enhanced, but not so overly made up so she'd be uncomfortable.
As for me, the bride, I still looked like myself, but indeed, like a princess version of myself - nothing like a set of faux lashes to really give you those Disney doe eyes :) I felt absolutely beautiful as soon as Brittany finished my make up, and just as beautiful hours later at the after party, after some serious dancing and sweating in the July heat and humidity!
I can't recommend Brittany enough and hope others are just as lucky to become an Izzy B bride!

Looking through her images, I knew Brittany would provide both the experience and quality of service I was looking for. From super friendly emails to my in-home trial, Brittany felt like a old friend and made me beyond comfortable. As a beauty professional myself, it was hard to give up the reins on my “look,” and Brittany handled my concerns with grace and a warm smile. The makeups done on my mother and MIL were positively dreamy - everyone in the party felt (and truly was) beautiful! Brittany, the makeup artist, deserves 5 stars for her professionalism, exceptional talent, and creativity. In my opinion, Brittany is much more than a makeup artist, her aesthetic is stunning and unique. She possesses something you won’t find with other makeup artists. Her work is truly an art.
I hit it off with Brittany right away during our trial. She's super easy to talk to and is very flexible. She wants to make YOU happy, and when I told her my vision, she made it happen within the first application. She was SO excited and I was SO pleased. Going into my wedding day, not having to worry about things like how my makeup or my bridesmaid's makeup would look was great. Brittany made me look and feel like a golden goddess as I walked down the aisle!
What I like about Brittany is that one of her main goals is to accentuate your natural beauty. Not create a look that's completely different from who you are. I feel that it’s important for brides to look like themselves (their best versions, of course) on their wedding day and Brittany makes just that happen.
She did a 10/10 job on my bridesmaids and mothers makeup as well. Everyone was happy. She took into account each bridesmaids style and tailored all of their looks to what suits them, their taste and their personalities. I should also add that she did all of the girl's makeup herself.
We had so much fun working together and I can’t recommend her enough. I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her and hope that I can use her again one day for another event.

She was very flexible and interested in what sort of look I wanted to create for my wedding day, but she also did a nice job of making recommendations or providing advice. She provided a complimentary trial, made careful note of my preferred products, and arrived early on our wedding day to make up all of the bridesmaids as well as the mother of the bride. She was timely, precise, and exceptionally artful. She encouraged me to go for some fun hues in my bridal look and I'm SO glad I went with the bold lip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! -

She is adorable herself but made sure I was happy with my look. We did trial and then engagement shoot makeup leading up to the big day. Both looks were not-over done but made me feel great. She was good at replicating it on the big day too which I'm sure isn't easy. On our wedding day, Brittany and her assistant were laid back, fun to chat with and even helped with scheduling for me and my eight 'maids. So many other details to stress about, makeup won't be one if you book IzzyBMakeup. -

Allie Sent on 11/14/2015I first saw Brittany's work when my wedding coordinator and I scrolled through her Instagram. My first thought was, "Whoa, her work is amazing, but there's no way she could make me look like that." Oh, but she can! And she did!
During the trial, Brittany was professional, laid-back, and flexible, which made it easy to relax and have fun while she tried out a bridal look and tweaked it based on my suggestions. The look she came up with (and flawlessly replicated on my wedding day) was stunning. She did an incredible job contouring my face and shaping my brows. Plus, when I suggested a bright lip, she recommended a gorgeous shade of pink that has since become one of my favorites. It's worth mentioning that I was on the dance floor for more or less the entire reception and, at the end of the night, my makeup still looked flawless. She must have used some kind of magic to make that happen.
Brittany also dolled up my mom and three bridesmaids. She did a fantastic job of tailoring each look to the person's style and taste, while still making us all look like a cohesive group. She really has a talent for making you look beautiful and radiant, but still like yourself. I'd happily recommend her to anyone!
