Absolutely amazing!!

Natalie was the best wedding planner we could have ever imagined working with! She provided us with so much information and insight given that we were not from the area. Having her as our wedding planner put us at ease since we live 3 states away. Every last detail was planned out and we could have never done it ourselves! My mother and I were able to enjoy my wedding to the fullest because Natalie and her team handled all of the little details and making sure everything went according to plan. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us! My wedding was a dream because of them!

There are not even words to describe how fabulous Arden is! She was assigned as our wedding planner and i can not speak highly enough of her. She was amazing! She is so organized and our wedding day could not have gone any better. Several of our guests commented on how organized and great the wedding was. I could not have imagined the wedding without her. She spent so much time making sure the day was perfect for us. I am from Louisiana and did not know much about the area, just knew i wanted my wedding there. I can honestly say she made wedding planning so easy on me. She had every detail perfect. I am so grateful for her!

It's a Shore Things provided us with the utmost quality service in planning our wedding! They understood my vision and assisted in executing our wedding exactly how we wanted it! Their relationship with the vendors in the surrounding area is great, which helped in planning meetings and communicating. Jen and Christie were incredibly organized, and allowed my family, my groom's family, and all of our friends to spend the wedding day solely focused on enjoying the day! They have an unbelievably strong relationship with the best vendors in the area, and secured a dream team that truly allowed our day and my vision to come true! They were also incredibly available throughout our year-long planning - any questions, issues, etc were addressed immediately. So truly thrilled that It's A Shore Thing made our wedding something so special!!

Working with Jennifer over the past year planning my daughters dream beach wedding has been such a pleasure. I was hesitant doing a destination
Wedding but Jennifer made the planning so easy. She has amazing vendors with great relationships and they work very well together. We were never overwhelmed with decisions because Jennifer has everything so organized. I cannot imagine doing a destination wedding without a local planner. Any requests big or small were handled efficiently and with a smile. We were able to enjoy all the festivities knowing Jennifer, Natalie and Kelly had everything under control. I hope my other daughter wants to do her wedding on 30a because this one was flawless with the help of It's A Shore Thing!

Jen and Christie made the wedding planning process so easy and stress-free. It is hard to plan a destination wedding from another state, but I knew right away that I could trust them to help me make the best decisions. Their vendor recommendations and coordination with vendors (especially day-of) allowed me to have the best time planning and experiencing my wedding day without having to think or worry. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were responsive and made the wedding so beautiful and fun. Our guests told us it was the best destination wedding / wedding they had ever been to! (And I am a little biased, but I think it was too!) Anyone getting married in the 30A area should without a doubt use It's a Shore Thing. These ladies are AMAZING!

Arden absolutely made our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives! We could not have accomplished it without her. She was there through the entire planning process. I can honestly say that as the bride, I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because I had Arden! She is so creative (with invitations, gift bag ideas, etc.), organized (timelines, the most helpful detailed spreadsheets ever!), always one step ahead (when to mail invitations, guest lists, booking vendors...), and that's not even the best part! She has a heart of gold, and makes you feel like you are the most important bride in the world. I now consider her a dear friend, and I am SO thankful that we chose It's a Shore Thing to plan our wedding weekend! The best there is!!!

I can't say enough about the fabulous ladies at It's a Shore Thing! I got engaged in March of 2014 and began searching for the perfect wedding location in the Destin/30A area. After much searching and hitting many dead-ends we found IST! From day one Arden was there to answer all of our questions and guide us to our amazing vendors. On the day of the wedding Arden assured us that everything was taken care of and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of our big day! I can't say enough about IST and Arden as a person/planner! Money well spent!!

Our planner was Arden and from the start to the finish, she was amazing! She kept everything organized and took any stress I may have had off of my plate. I can't think of a single thing that went wrong on our wedding day. I know it was due to Arden's planning and the way she handled things behind the scene. I would highly recommend It's a shore thing and Arden to any bride!!!

I can't say enough about how incredible our experience was with It's A Shore Thing (IST). We began wedding planning 16 months before our wedding and world with Arden at IST throughout the entire process. Every email (from month 16 all the way up to the wedding day) was responded to almost immediately. She made me feel as though we were the only wedding she was planning! She recommended amazing vendors – we were so happy with everyone we worked with – and couldn't have done it without Arden/IST. She coordinated everyone and managed all of the details and communication. We gave her our vision and were involved in wedding designing, food tasting and cake tasting – but beyond that, she managed every detail. If anything went awry or deviated from plans, we had no idea. The week leading up to our wedding was so relaxing (we were at the beach with our families and friends) – and didn't have to even think about or stress about the upcoming wedding. And the day of our wedding was seamless and perfect. We got to enjoy every moment and not worry about what was going to happen next. Arden and her day-of assistant were so attentive making sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying each moment. I would HIGHLY recommend It's a Shore Thing and Arden to anyone I know getting married on the gulf coast.

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about the ladies of It's A Shore Thing! Every person - from my parents/in-laws to the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and guests had ONLY wonderful things to say about Arden Sanders and It's A Shore Thing. From the second Jen paired Arden with us, I knew it was going to be perfect. Arden is the most organized, detailed, energetic, and wonderful person I have ever met! When friends and family would ask how I was feeling about planning a destination wedding, I would reply with, "Oh, I'm not worried - Arden is handling everything!" That was truly the case, she became like one of my friends I wanted to tell things to! She would set up necessary planning calls and send emails with what she needed from me, but everything was so perfectly laid out, I never felt stressed at all! I trusted her with every detail along the way and she did not steer me wrong. I was able to completely plan my wedding from 6 hours away! It's a Shore Thing was the best money spent out of my wedding budget. Thank you so much, Arden!! :)

Jennifer and the gals of It's a Shore Thing were the best decision we made when planning our destination wedding in Rosemary Beach, FL. They were there for us every step of the way...from giving us great options for vendors and guiding us to the perfect people for what we were looking for, to handling questions/relationships with our vendors, to making fun, creative decisions, and executing them perfectly, to handling the logistics of the entire wedding weekend...we could not have made it through the crazy wedding planning experience without them!

They helped demystify the overwhelming task of budgeting and planning our wedding from a distance. Because Jennifer was able to schedule time with all of our vendors, we were able to have efficient, all-encompassing, and super fun meetings with everyone when we made it to Rosemary before the wedding. Because of all of her experience, Jennifer had a solution to any issue that popped up in our heads and was always able to calm the nerves of my (sometimes easily stressed) Mother of the Bride. She was always there with sound advice like a caring friend.

My husband and I and our families were able to actually relax and enjoy the entire weekend because Jennifer and the team executed our rehearsal dinner, bonfire welcome party, bridal luncheon, and of course, wedding day seamlessly. Not only were the details more than we could have imagined, but logistically, Jennifer ran everything smoothly. She communicated great with our vendors so everyone knew exactly what was going on and was able to work together perfectly.

Jennifer Lewis and It's A Shore Thing were wonderful to work with! Jennifer was very pleasant and made it fun! Whenever there was a stress point in the planning she always managed to de-stress us and work it all out! She also always had answers for our questions and referrals for anything we needed in Rosemary Beach, even if it didn't fall under "wedding planning". She always jumped in & took care of any issues with any of the vendors. Even though you are not her only wedding that she's planning, she still always got back to us in a timely fashion. She's very organized, energetic and fun with lots of ideas & options from her years of experience. Christie was her assistant for most of our time with them and she too was very pleasant to work with. Both were "on it" for wedding day too! I, as MOB, was extremely confident and relaxed! It's A Shore Thing was a pleasure to work with!

I cannot sing It's a Shore Thing company and planners praises enough! I seriously could not have made it through the ups and downs of wedding planning without my planner holding my hand every step of the way!

They helped us find the best vendors for our vision, as well as handled most of the communication of our needs to them so that we could relax knowing that we were in good hands. They provided us with so many tools for the planning process that kept us informed and organized (e.g., monthly checklist, budget charts, accommodations, etc.).

Beyond their guidance regarding the more linguistics planning matters, the emotional support given to me during this time meant the world to me! They truly got to know who I was as a person, not just as another client. Phone calls and in-person meetings were not stressful at all, they were a blast! I really enjoyed spending time with them, being surrounded by their calming presence & sweet personalities made me feel at ease! In addition, everyone at It's a Shore Thing was super responsive, getting back to emails/phone calls almost immediately, as well being empathetic whenever I had to take a break planning due to school. Also, by their willingness to handle all the sensitive, financial matters through my dad, instead of the stress of involving me in it, lowered tension between me and him significantly!

Our big day was beyond our wildest dreams AMAZING due to all of the hard work and dedication of the It's a Shore Thing team! They went out of their way to make sure we were happy as a clam with everything on our special day! They greeted us at the boardwalk after the ceremony with food and drinks, made sure the wedding timeline gave us room to really enjoy it, handled all of the day-of wedding demands - if something went wrong, we were completely unaware because they handled everything, even took calls from guests for us!
It is a no brainer, brides you must go with It's a Shore Thing, you won't be disappointed!!! :)

My mom and I really enjoyed working with Arden at It's a Shore Thing. She is professional, accommodating, and helpful. Arden is also a wonderful, lovely person - so sweet and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the planning process was thoughtfully organized, and that the wedding day was perfect. My husband, mom and I so appreciated being able to enjoy the wedding day without having to worry about a single detail. Arden handled all questions and needs with grace and swift action. Everything turned out perfectly - I wouldn't have changed a thing! I would highly recommend working with IST, and can't say enough about Arden as a person and planner.

Besides say yes to my now husband when he proposed, choosing It's A Shore Thing to handle all the details of the wedding and plan an amazing event was the best decision we could have made. Jen2 was right by our side, even with us in Mississippi and her in Florida, to help with every decision...venue, photographer, florist, caterer, musicians and on and on!! We could never have created such a magical, beautiful evening for our daughter and son-in-law without her help and guidance. She was organized, efficient, professional, knowledgable and just down right adorable. She even went and found fans for our wedding guests just a few hours before the ceremony because it was so WARM!! You can't do a Rosemary Beach wedding without Jen2....perfection!!

Where to begin? I always dreamed of a beautiful wedding in Florida, problem was, I live in Texas. That's where It's A Shore Thing came into the picture. From the beginning of the process I knew we were in great hands with Jen! She always took time to walk me through each step of the wedding planning process, and her advice about quality vendors was invaluable. Living in another state and having a beach wedding was made possible by having the absolute perfect wedding planner. We met with Jen & Arden before deciding to use them and knew immediately we could not plan it with out them. Arden was with us every step of the way. She gave us "to do's" a little at a time, so we wouldn't get overwhelmed. Every vendor she recommended was awesome. We could not have done this without her. She is such a professional, sweet, & caring Lady. She always had an answer for any concerns. And always had a plan B. She met with us in person, computer, email, text, cell..... you name it. We worked with Arden from Its a shore thing. What a blessing this sweet, kind, caring lady was! She went far & beyond in everything she did. And her professionalism was A plus. She kept the ball rolling for us and kept us informed and up to date on all that needed to be done. We live in AR and having a beach wedding so far away was going to be way too much to handle until we found Arden. She gave us decisions to make a little at a time , so she didn't overwhelm us. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. Would highly recommend. Everyone she recommended as far as vendors were also perfect. Could not have been happier, other than we are now going to miss talking with her!

Jennifer Lewis is one of the warmest and dedicated professionals I have known. I couldn't recommend her company more. We ended up picking probably the worst, most unprofessional venue and catering company, and Jen was able to make everything turn out perfectly, regardless of the situation. I honestly don't know if our wedding would have turned out at all if it wasn't for her.
She went out of her way to accommodate us on our wedding day with her team, and I couldn't have asked for better support. This is the best money you will spend in your entire wedding budget.

My husband and I planned our wedding in Rosemary Beach, FL in only 4 months, and we couldn't have done it without Arden's help from It's a Shore Thing. We live in Nashville, so planning a wedding long distance seemed daunting, but she took away so much of the stress. Arden set up for me to meet with and pick out all of my vendors in one weekend. She was always accessible to email or call with questions or concerns, and her advice was so helpful. The weekend of our wedding Arden took care of everything and made sure things ran smoothly. We used Jen Fisher of It's a Shore Thing to plan our daughter's wedding in Rosemary Beach. Hiring Jen was the best decision we made. Within days we located venues and hired a caterer, designer, photographer and make-up and hair artists. Jen provided choices of vendors and her opinion of the pluses and minuses of each vendor. She also helped allocate our budget based on our priorities. Every vendor we chose from her recommendations was excellent. Better yet, Jen diffused the very few stressful moments we had in the planning process.

The day of the wedding was perfect. Every detail was handled and all we had to do was enjoy the moment! The wedding and reception were all we could have hoped for and more. Many thanks to Jen and It's a Shore Thing!

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing it was to work with It's a Shore Thing. From the moment my wife (!!) and I contacted them nearly twenty months before our Rosemary Beach wedding, we knew working with these amazing women was going to be truly wonderful. Working with Jen2 made planning our wedding a truly fun experience, and we were able to really enjoy our engagement. From the get-go {over a year-and-a-half before our wedding}, Jen went out of her way to make the planning process {from booking vendors to helping whittle down the guest list} easy. Ashley and I were only able to come down to Florida twice - and only for short visits - in the planning process, and each time, Jen made sure we could maximize that time. She planned meetings with vendors and made awesome itineraries to boot. When we realized we needed to explore a different option, she made all of that work seamlessly while we got to soak in some extra time on the beach. We had the advice of a true professional who helped and guided us with the heart of a true friend. It was wonderful to work with someone we knew was thrilled for us, excited for our wedding, and cared about the experience we had - both in the process of planning and on our wedding day. Jen's talent, patience, and kindness were reflected in every email we exchanged, every phone conference we had, and every text back and forth between us. She developed a relationship with us that allowed us to trust her completely. That trust is what allowed us to enjoy our day and know that every crazy detail/request/question we threw at her would be handled perfectly. So, at the end of the day, we got to enjoy our wedding day and soak in every amazing detail and relish in the love all around us without worrying about vendors or guests or decor. It's a "Shore" Thing made magic happen at my daughter's wedding. They handled every detail and did not miss a single thing from start to finish. They allowed me to enjoy the evening with my family and friends and remember all of the little details because they handled it ALL. I did not have to do a thing. They went the extra mile on everything they did and it showed. My friends and family are still talking about how breathtaking everything was and flawless. Give your worries to them and they will do the worrying for you. I certainly did and it allowed me to enjoy and remember all of the little details of my daughter's special day. The Jens are incredible! They made our wedding everything we wanted it to be! Both helped coordinate the entire event, from the most minute detail. where do i begin? it was love at our first phone call with the jenns, then confirmation at our first meeting with these amazing ladies! our daughter's wedding was a destination wedding in the santa rosa beach area. although we have vacationed there for 25 years, we did not have a clue on how to begin to find vendors, reception location, etc. the jenns to the rescue! they helped us secure our beach permit for the wedding site, find the PERFECT venue for the reception, and amazing vendors to cover all aspects of our daughter's wedding! (townsend catering, monark designs, bboy productions, FaceTime photo booth, confections on the coast, and sunshine shuttle) the VERY BEST part was....we were able to relax and truly enjoy everything on the wedding weekend because.....jenn handled it all! the wedding was PERFECT....everything our daughter and new son in law dreamed of! if anything did go wrong.....we have no clue....jenn handled it all! thank you so very much for making this whole experience so amazing! :)

The Jen's from It's a Shore Thing were, no joke, absolutely amazing and fantastic. They took care of our wedding planning (and us!) from start to finish and thought of every detail - which of course made our wedding day stress free, even with the rain!! From the big picture stuff like band recommendations and catering, to the small little touches (like suggesting the Dunkin Donuts bar at the end of the night in honor of our Boston roots) they surpassed every expectation we had, seriously. I want to thank you for making Claire's wedding a fairy-tale. She and Matt told me they could not have dreamed of a more perfect wedding!!! It was perfect!! And it was all because of you! You had us organized from beginning to end and when there was a decision to be made, you made it! All of the vendors were so professional and you could tell they enjoyed what they did! When my husband dropped some things off, he came back and told me how impressed he was with Donna Townsend @ Townsend Catering. She had everything under control with the catering! The tablescape and Town Hall was fabulous! Brian @ Myrtie Blue and his associates outdid themselves!!! The Townhall and Garden looked magical! It was from a magazine.. And Ryan and Lindsay with Pure 7 made everyone so comfortable. They took control and guided us through the photo process.

Our officiant, Kevin Tillman was so kind and helpful. He put Claire & Matt at ease. He was so comforting.. He even sped up the ceremony when he saw how nervous Claire was getting. The vows they wrote and the ceremony was beautiful. The music was wonderful too. Kate Kelley did a beautiful job during the ceremony. She set the tone for an amazing ceremony. And Kyle LaMonica needs to go on "The Voice" or "American Idol". His music and a' full moon' set the tone for a magical evening. The first dances were so special and touching. Kyle is amazing! We had people standing outside the garden enjoying Kyle's beautiful music. They enjoyed a beautiful beach concert! Claire & Matt felt like celebrities! They had cameras and phone cameras continually snapping pictures from afar....people were very respectful of our evening, though.

The Pensione Inn was a great selection for our small wedding party. It was very convenient and comfortable. Our guests did not have to travel to go to the beach, restaurants & shopping. In the mornings, guests assembled outside "Onana" and greeted each other. It was a wonderful spot for our 'new combined families to get to know each other better.

Jen, our guests "loved" the favor boxes you put together! What a wonderful idea for our out of town guests!!! What better way to greet the morning than with donuts and coffee!! I hope you know how pleased we are. It was just as I hoped it would be. Please do not hesitate to use as a reference. You are just the best wedding planners!! We love you!!!!

Thank you again Jen (1) and Jen (2) for a fairy-tale wedding! You were right, a small wedding has an aura about it that makes the bride and groom appear "enveloped with love". It is a magical experience! Little girls in Rosemary kept calling Claire" a princess" One mom told Claire & Matt that her little girl kept wanting to come say hello to the princess and her prince!!!

Let us start by saying that our wedding was absolutely beyond our wildest dreams and that there is NO WAY that we could have done it without "THE JENS"! These women worked absolutely tirelessly and gracefully to make sure that every detail was confirmed and executed. We were not local, so to have someone from the Santa Rosa Beach area to make recommendations to our taste was absolutely crucial. Every single vendor that Jen brought to the table performed above and beyond, and the flow of the entire wedding weekend was flawless (and not without significant drama they corrected behind the curtains!). Lots of venues have their own planners on site, but It's A Shore Thing works for their clients, making sure their dreams come true. This review may sound like some paid recommendation, but believe us, they are the real deal obsessive detail-oriented team you need on your side for a perfect wedding. We are true believers. And if you don't believe this review, call them for our info and we will tell you ourselves. We owe them that much for creating our special wedding.

Im not sure where to start with my Jen's. They are they best money well spent I had for my wedding. I cannot express the details that I would have missed or entirely stressed me out if it werent for them. When cutting wedding costs do not cut costs at a coordinator especially with the Jen's. They are beyond worth the investment and I couldnt have imagined my wedding experience without them. Jennifer listened closely to what my daughter wanted her wedding to be, asked lots of questions and worked very well with my entire family. Any problems were immediately resolved. When I (Dad) became concerned about the entire cost, Jennifer brought the vendors together to figure out how to control some of the costs to get the total amount back in my comfort zone. We also took Jennifer's advice on several critical items which all turned out exactly right. Looking back, we would not have changed anything. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and executed flawlessly. She even identified some party crashers and had security show them out. Although we were concerned about the weather, she produced the perfect sunny day, with very little wind and a beautiful evening. Very Highly recommend Its A Shore Thing!

It's a Shore Thing was invaluable in planning our wedding. Jennifer used her years of experience to help us assemble the best team of vendors for our special weekend. She helped us stay on track with our decision-making and planning timeline, made great suggestions for cool details to incorporate, and helped us fine tune the ideas that we brought to the table. She is organized and detail-oriented, and she always has a back-up plan or two, just in case. Plus, she throws one heck of a party!

Jennifer was flexible and met with us many times in the months before our destination wedding. She even set up a video-conference with our florist so that we could do long-distance planning! She also made appointments and reservations for some of our pre-wedding activities (spa day and bridal luncheon) that weren't even on the wedding day. She and "other Jen" go above and beyond for their brides and grooms, and their taste is impeccable.

I have no doubt that we made the best possible decision when we hired It's a Shore Thing to plan our wedding.

I am so glad my husband and I decided on using It's a "Shore" thing-wedding and even planning. I was a bit concerned that since our area is mostly beach weddings and that is what most planners typically specialize in we would have a hard time with any planner we chose, being that our wedding was going to be the complete opposite of a beach wedding. As soon as I met with Jennifer my concerns melted away. After seeing and experiencing our totally nontraditional totally unique wedding I believe that It's a "Shore" thing can pull off any wedding. Everything was so prefect down to the last detail. They did everything and I never had to stress or worry about a thing. The day of the wedding went even smoother than the year of planning it. I can't say enough wonderful things about how easy Cheryl was to work with, throughout the planning and our wedding day. We had to unexpectedly postpone our wedding due to my fiance's illness. Its a shore thing is AMAZING! Hiring Cheryl Walton as our day of planner was the BEST decision we made in the whole wedding planning. Cheryl went over & beyond the call of duty. She was there for us anytime we needed anything or had any questions what so ever. Thanks to Cheryl our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Hiring "It's A Shore Thing" to plan our wedding was BY FAR the BEST DECISION we made in the entire wedding planning process. Jennifer was unbelievable and had every detail down to a tee. We didn't have to worry about a thing! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend "It's A Shore Thing" if you are planning a wedding on the Emerald Coast!

It's a "Shore" Thing, i.e., Cheryl Walton, made my wedding dreams come true!! She was always there for me any time I needed her assistant. Cheryl always went above and beyond and her vendor recommendations were incredible! I did not have any problems with a single one of them. I would definitely recommend It's a "Shore" Thing/Cheryl to any Bride that wants outstanding results!!

My wedding was beautiful, elegant, and classy. I always felt that they knew exactly what I wanted. They were a bit more expensive than other wedding planners in the area, but they made up for it in quality. They are very well connected and had great vendors to choose from for whatever your budget was. They helped me plan my wedding so well, that the day of my wedding I was relaxed sitting on the beach until I needed to go put my dress on!!! It was awesome! Jennifer and Cheryl are the best in the buisness!

There is not enough room to express how pleased we were with "It's a Shore Thing" wedding and event planning. My husband and I were so grateful for everything they did. They helped plan, put together, and suggest the best people for us to work with on our big day. I can honestly say that because of them our day was so amazing, perfect, and like a fairy tale. They took care of everything!! We had a 350 plus person wedding and a huge wedding party and they had everything so organized and were so professional. Our guests went on and on about them and how they had everything so under control. My husband and I miss not getting to talk them already!!! We definitely recommend them!!

Cheryl was attentive and totally together on what we needed to get done. I could not have done this without her. They day of event coordination was PRICELESS! Not a care in the world for the bride and groom. She was right on target re: the vendors for us to meet with and choose from based on our needs, expectations, and budget. I am totally happy with the service I got from It's a Shore Thing!

I don't even know where to begin! From the very first contact I had with Jennifer (Warwick), she was absolutely wonderful. She was always so helpful, immediate in her responses (even if I asked the same question 20 times!) and truly made me feel like her most important client (bride). Not only did she far exceed anything I could have possibly expected from a wedding coordinator, she became a genuine friend in the process. And if Jen wasn't available to answer my questions, Joanne or Cheryl were right there to help - and they were just as wonderful!! We honestly could not have pulled off anything more perfect and wonderful without the girls at It's a Shore Thing.

Hurricane Ivan roared through the Florida Panhandle just weeks before our 2004 destination wedding. Jennifer and Joanne, our wedding planners, evacuated with everyone else. The day after the storm, I frantically tried to get in touch with wedding vendors and had no luck at all. Jennifer called me that afternoon and said she'd spoken with ALL of my vendors, except for the beach house rental company, and they were all okay and able to do our wedding. I was amazed!

One week before the wedding, we got the bad news that the beach house we'd rented for the ceremony and reception was too badly damaged for us to use for the wedding. Jennifer and Joanne literally got in their car and drove around the Destin area, looking for a suitable location for us. And they found it! In fact, the beach house they found was probably BETTER than the one we'd chosen!

The service they provided was exceptional. Because of the hurricane, we came very close to cancelling the wedidng. Had it not been for It's a Shore Thing, we would have had no choice but to cancel and attempt to reschedule for a later date. Thanks for Jennifer and Joanne, we had our beautiful beach wedding, and it was perfect.

It's a shore thing did a great job with my wedding. Even though I'm a local, I wanted someone who knew the ins and outs and wouldn't forget anything. At first I was unsure about hiring a planner, especially at that price, but now I know it's a MUST and I would do it again. Jen2 was great... Very on top of things and organized!

Just returned from my daughter's Rosemary Beach wedding and all I can say is Amazing!! It's a Shore Thing did a fabulous job we got to enjoy the wedding day with friends and family and had no worries! They took care of every detail from the time we met with them in June up until wedding day in November, Christie was so sweet and so pleasant to work with, she made our day exactly what she said..Jen is great as well! They directed us to the most awesome vendors you could ask for and we were extemely pleased with the services we received. Again, if looking for a planner It's a Shore Thing is the way to go they are the BEST of the best!

I highly reccomend its a shore thing my wedding came out absolutely amazing and I didnt have any worries. I live out of town and only met with them a couple times before the wedding. There vendors were great to I have no complaints at all.

We really enjoyed working with Jennifer at It's A Shore Thing. She was so helpful with determining our vendors. We were not local and this destination wedding was made so easy because of this company. Its a Shore Thing helped plan and coordinate the wedding of my dreams. It was perfect! Literally.
Cheryl and Jennifer were amazing to work with. From our first meeting 10 months before the wedding to the moment we pulled away from our reception, Cheryl was completely by my side. She patiently guided me while I developed the overall aesthetic and feeling of my dream wedding. She offered recommendations and ideas from her past experience but didnt overpower me or push me in a specific direction. Every idea I had was met with sincere open mindedness and an effort to make the detail a reality. She shared in my vision and gave me the resources to plan my ultimate party. From recommending vendors that were able to fulfill our specific needs to up to the minute coordination, I really didn't have to focus on anything besides being with my husband, my family and my friends. I think we worked with about 10-15 separate vendors. I dont know how they did it but it was totally seamless.and the best partthey held my mothers hand and SHE WAS CALM. Amazing! Let's admit it....I was spoiled and it was the best day of my life. Now I just have to talk them into doing life planning and I'll be good to go!
A sincere Thank You to Cheryl and Jennifer for all of their hard work! I love yall!
If you are the kind of bride that wants a beautiful, low stress, well organized wedding where all of your friends and family will have a blast and you can spend the whole week before enjoying time with your family and your fiancé, I highly recommend Its a Shore Thing.

It's a Shore Thing made my wedding day a breeze. I started planning the event a year in advance and the girls at IST were very attentive to all of my needs and made my vision come to life. We had a traditional wedding in a destination setting...the best of both worlds. Our guests raved that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Totally worth it to feel "like a guest at your own wedding"-the IST motto.

Cheryl and Jennifer were great about recommending other vendors in the area, organizing the details and helped me just enjoy my wedding day. Jen 1 and Jen 2 know what they're doing. They gave me my dream wedding. Since we had a destination wedding, we really relied on them to run the show, and they did not disappoint. They did so much, including hooking us up with their favorite caterer, cake lady, and band. The wedding night was absolutely perfect. The Jens even fixed us plates of food and made us eat, which we loved. They orchestrated everything without a hitch, so that we could dance the night away.

It's a Shore Thing was wonderful. They provided wonderful advice and gave us a ton of ideas and contact to many vendors. I recommend that the wedding planners have more vendor ideas. The DJ they recommended did not provide great service and actually messed up quite a bit. So I think that they they should have scheduled a meeting with the dj as I requested since I was unsure of his services to begin with. Besides that, they did a great job and I receive many compliments on their services at the reception. All in all, I was extremely impressed with how seamless the entire day went and would recommend them to all newly engaged couples.

We had a beautiful wedding with no major glitches but I still had a few small complaints. Be prepared to be passed around to various planners within the company which was disappointing after spending such a large amount of money. Also a few small details were lost because of this. They were very good the day of the event and found wonderful vendors for us.

About a week prior to my wedding, we were contacted by a different person than we started out with. We began our journey with It's a Shore Thing with Cheryl, who rarely called us back (and when she did it was never timely), and if we ever called and actually got her on the phone for questions, she seems like we were taking up her precious time and she couldn't really help us. We chose the "Day of" package and were treated, by Cheryl, like second-class citizens because of it. It was only when we started working with JoAnne that we actually got the service we paid for. No matter what package you choose, you should still be treated like a paying client. JoAnne did this, Cheryl did not. Cheryl even made my mother cry at one point when she told her there was no way we could do a wedding on the budget we had. Well, I'm here to tell you we did, and we had a fantastic wedding. Upon arriving in Florida and working with JoAnne, everything was seamless and perfect. She is a true professional and I understand why she is so successful. I would recommend working with It's a Shore Thing if people could work with JoAnne, but NEVER if they had to work with Cheryl.

Given that Shore Thing is the most expensive planning service we spoke to, we expected at least a token amount of interest in our wedding after hiring them. Instead, it was clear from the beginning that Arden was purely driven to plan us the same cookie cutter wedding she seemingly planned every weekend. We wasted countless hours over several months only to have Arden quit, speaking only through her boss at the end, and refusing to offer any refund of the substantial deposit.

Despite sending us a planning form, all of the information we spent hours writing was promptly ignored, and any time we brought up concerns, Arden promised to send us alternative options, but didn't do it on a single occasion. I don't know whether it was for lack of ability or simply laziness, but she did not seem interested in deviating from her one-track plans. Obviously, we became frustrated, and let her know. Arden did not have the courtesy to speak to us directly about any of our concerns.

Basically, if you want a $100k+ cookie cutter wedding, Shore Thing is probably a fantastic choice for you. Otherwise, they wouldn't be our choice...
